The mutinous deserters were still entrenched at Craster's Keep, indulging on the food stored there. Bertram was drinking wine from Jeor Mormont's skull. "This is the life," he said.
One of Craster's wives came in, with a baby in her arms. "This is Craster's last son," she said. "He must be given to the gods."
"Huh?" said Scott Tenorman.
"That means we've gotta leave him out for the White Walkers, remember?" Bertram said. "That's what Craster always did, and the Walkers always left him alone. Maybe if we do the same, they'll leave us alone too. I'll take him. Trent, you come with me."
Bertram and Trent Boyett went outside, with Trent carrying the child. They went out to the clearing and set the baby on the ground. They were about to start back to the house when Bertram heard a twig snap some way off. He ran to the nearby trees and peered between the branches. He saw Stewie, Dipper, Mabel, and Hodor making their way through the snow.
Trent came and stood beside him. "Who are those people?" he whispered.
"If I'm not mistaken, one of them is Peter Griffin's son," Bertram said. "I've been wanting to meet up with him for a while. Come on. Let's get the others. If we move fast, we can lay a trap for them."

In the Riverlands, Merritt Frey was walking along a road when he was accosted by several members of the Brotherhood Without Banners.
"What do you want?" he asked fearfully.
"Arr, we want revenge," said Seamus. "We heard ya murdered Chris Griffin."
"Not me," said Merritt. "I didn't kill anyone. The Red Wedding was my father's work, and Lord Bolton's. I just sat there and drank my wine."
"Yore lyin'," said Seamus. "String 'im up!"
Blubs and Durland came forward and tied a rope around Merritt's neck. They looped the other end over a tree branch.
Merritt was absolutely frantic. "You're the Brotherhood Without Banners, right? They say Lord Beric always gives a man a trial."
"Well, we got ourselves a new leader now," said Durland.
"You can't prove anything against me!" Merritt cried. "You have no witness!"
"As it happens, yer wrong there," said Seamus. He stepped to the side, revealing a hooded woman behind him.
The woman took off her hood. It was Lois! Her eyes seemed to stare into Merritt's soul.
"You're dead!" Merritt cried. "I saw Walder Rivers cut your throat!"
"Aye, but we 'ave a red priest among us who can raise the dead," said Seamus. "We found 'er body after the Red Wedding, and Lord Beric passed the flame o' life from himself to her. We call 'er Lady Stoneheart now!"
"What do ya say?" Blubs asked Lois. "Was he part of it?"
Lois nodded, never taking her eyes off Merritt.
Durland yanked on the rope. Merritt's feet left the ground. Up into the air he jerked, kicking and twisting, up and up and up, until finally he was still.
"So, this is what passes for justice these days," a voice said.
The outlaws turned to see Melisandre standing among them.
Lois recognized her instantly. "What do you want?" she rasped, struggling to force out the words. Ever since her throat had been cut, talking had been difficult for her.
"You've got a boy named Gendry among you," Melisandre said. "I want him."

The Freys had besieged Riverrun, but Stan Pines refused to yield it up. Right now, Stan was talking to Pam. "This was the time of the month when I was supposed to have my period," she said. "But I missed it. You know what that means."
Stan knew all right. Pam was pregnant with Chris's child.
