Chapter 54
Hanako could feel the tears running down her face as Kyoya walked out, slamming the door behind him.
She looked at Kouki who was in his bassinet, still wailing. She heard her rude neighbors walking past outside with loud shouts.
"You turned it off this time right?!"
"God damn it yes! Chill out will you!"
Hanako could care less what they were arguing about at the moment.
She grabbed him and rocked him gently. "Shhh Shhh Shhh, it's okay Kouki. I'm sorry mommy and daddy have been upset with each other lately."
'What am I going to do? We'll never last if things continue like this.' She thought, finally getting Kouki to feed.
Namiko sat in her room, tears rolling down her face.
"Like, I don't understand! What happened? What did I say? Did I say something bad?" She asked, her face buried in a pillow. "Was I really being selfish?"
Haruhi shook her head.
"No, I don't think so. I think she is going through something..."
"B-But she said she didn't need me." Namiko sobbed, drinking the hot tea that was sitting on her nightstand.
Tomomi rubbed Namiko on the shoulder.
"She did seem fine at first... but I did start to notice that something was definitely going on with her. She seemed kind of off."
Namiko nodded.
"She did a little. I mean... we asked if she was okay and she shook it off... so I thought it wasn't anything... If I was being selfish about talking about new things going on with me... I'm sorry."
Both girls shook their heads.
"Oh no, no. You were just updating everyone. I don't think it was selfish." Tomomi said. "Speaking of which... when are you supposed to move in to the Kasanoda house?"
Namiko took a tissue and blew her nose.
"Well, I'm going to go there tomorrow and tell him my decision. Then I'm going to ask for the week to stay here so I can pack."
Haruhi looked around.
"Do you even have boxes?"
Namiko shook her head.
"I have to figure that out."
Within seconds, Haruhi pulled out her phone, putting it back away quickly.
"What's up?"
Haruhi shook her head.
"Oh it's nothing."
A knock on the bedroom door got their attention.
"Girls, are you hungry? Kyo and I have both got pizza. Also... there's a blonde idiot here to see Haruhi.
Tamaki walked in, three men holding one stack of ten boxes, each guy holding different sizes of boxes.
Namiko giggled and look at Haruhi, "It's nothing?" She asked.
Haruhi winked, walking over to Tamaki to place a big kiss on his excited face.
"Why don't you stay for Pizza Tamaki?"
"Sure! I'd love to help! And I'll help with packing too!
"Yes Please." Namiko said, getting up, the girls following close behind, she felt so appreciative of her friends.
"So how's everything been going?" Tamaki asked Haruhi. "I don't mean to pry, but is everything alright with Namiko? She looks upset! Is it because of the move?"
"No, it's not about the that," Haruhi said as she softly told Tamaki what happened with Hanako earlier.
Tamaki look a little pale. "I see," he said softly. He put his arm around Haruhi's shoulder, "maybe I could talk to her, see if I can help like I did when she first found out she was pregnant."
Haruhi looked over at her cousin as she pondered the notion.
"Maybe," she slightly agreed, "but not until I tell you it's fine."
"I promise," Tamaki swore, crossing his heart.
Haruhi nodded. She had to slightly agree, maybe having Tamaki as a go between might not be a bad idea.
"Oh Kouki, please!" Hanako pleaded as she struggled to get him calm down and eat.
Just then there was a knock on the door.
"Now what?" Hanako moaned desperate. She managed to lay Kouki down, still crying, and fix herself off.
She yanked open the door to see Tamaki standing there.
"Tamaki-Senpai?" Hanako said in surprise.
"Good evening Hanako, how are you doing?" Tamako asked calmly.
"Not too good, Tamaki! Now is not a good time for company!" Hanako pleaded.
"I understand, I just came by to to drop off some edible comfort," Tamaki said holding up a bag, "I was given the impression you could use it."
"What's in it?" Hanako asked, a little curious.
"Here, I'll show you," Tamaki said as he let himself in. He headed to the center of the apartment, stopping to look in at Kouki's basket.
"Oh, poor Kouki,"' Tamaki cooed as he dropped his bag down at the table and scooped the baby up.
"There there, Uncle Tama's here. He'll make everything better."
Hanako sighed a little frustrated at Tamaki trying to take over her apartment and baby duty, but pushed past them as her curiosity drove her to take a peek inside the bag.
In it was a few dozens of her different favorite candy bars, and other junk food.
It actually made give a half smile.
"Nice," she whispered.
"Feel free to pig out," Tamaki mentioned. Hanako looked at him and suddenly realized he had gotten Kouki to stop crying, "that's why I brought them."
"Thanks, though I don't need more ways to get fat!" Hanako snapped.
"Yes but you need energy and a source of comfort. Give it time, be patient, and when you're ready you can focus on loosing those pounds," Tamaki said.
"Great, thanks," Hanako snarled, even as she stuffed a bit of candy into her mouth.
"So where's Kyoya?" Tamaki asked casually.
At that Hanako started to cry again.
"Oh dear," Tamaki said as he quickly put Kouki back down and turned his attention to Hanako.
"Kyoya's gone! I drove him away!" Hanako admitted in between tears.
"Hmm, somehow I don't think it was all your fault," Tamaki mentioned.
"Yes I did! Plus, I drove away my three best friends who have stood by me during my whole pregnancy!" Hanako kept going on.
"All the way away?" Tamaki asked.
"What?!" Hanako snapped frustrated and confused.
"Did you drive them all away to the point of no return?" Tamaki re-asked.
"I, I think I did," Hanako admitted.
"Are you certain?" Tamaki kept prodding.
"I just got so mad at them! Namiko kept going on her last days with Kasanoda and it was just getting annoying! And, and Haruhi and Tomomi were going off about their futures. It sounds like everything's going well for them, when I'm starting to realize how much I'll be held back because of my son!"
"Oh, I don't think you'll be held back too badly. We'll help you get further along if that's what you want," Tamaki tried to assure her.
"You guys can only do so much!" Hanako insisted, "something I think Kyoya's starting to realize. I think he's starting to get bored and frustrated with me. There's already another girl trying to get him! One of his co-workers!"
"Kyoya has a new girlfriend?" Tamaki asked concerned.
"I, I don't know! He, he seems like he didn't. But who's to say he won't? Especially if There's so many out there who disapprove of me! Ever since I discovered what Kirrily Toranku truly thinks of me, I've been feeling so self-cautious. Just how am I truly seen by everyone? Even you guys? An immature, unprepared foolish girl who bit off more than she could chew? What if that's what Kyoya starts to think about me?"
"Well, he'd have to admit he took a bite off too," said Tamaki.
"Yes, but he could handle it, even if he was still in high school like me," Hanako said, "Kyoya's perfect at everything in every situation! If he was going to get a high school girl pregnant, he should have found himself a better one more suited to take on the challenges with him. I'm starting to think I can't do this!"
"If Kyoya had gotten himself a more "reliable" girl pregnant, then he wouldn't have learn and grow," Tamaki mentioned.
"What?" Hanako asked.
"Kyoya may know and be well aware of many things in the world, but he still needs to learn and grown. There's other things that can help him flourish as he continues on in life. And even still, I don't think any girl in your situation can be more suited to take on the challenges you're facing."
"But...," Hanako tried to argue.
"Even the ones from our walks of life," Tamaki continued, "of anything they wouldn't learn anything. They'd just pay someone else to take on the burden. You at least wanted to take it, wanted to see what happened and then in a sense grown and became a better person because of it"
"But I'm not a better person for it! I've driven everyone away!" Hanako insisted.
"Away to where? Away to a place they can never come back from?"
"Well, I," Hanako sputtered.
"I think you merely drove them away to an area that can give you more space. Maybe that's what you need right now, space. It's like you've said, we've been supporting but we also haven't stepped back and let you take a few steps on your own. And even though it seemed harsh, maybe the way you did it was the only way you felt you could do it at the moment."
"You, think so?" Hanako asked timidly.
"Who knows?" Tamaki said, "but it sounds like you did need some time alone to handle yourself in your own way. And when you're ready to try and bring in your friends and Kyoya back, just know I'll be there to help wrangle them up."
Hanako giggled before she found herself leaning over and hugging Tamaki, "thank you, you actually helped a lot." She wiped a few of her tears from her face. "I think, I'll at least try calling Kyoya tomorrow. After I give him some time to calm down and maybe be in a better mood to forgive me."
"If you need help with that, let me know," Tamaki offered as he stood up.
"Thank you Tamaki, for everything," Hanako said as she waved Tamaki out the door.
She looked at Kouki who was starting to make a face.
"Let Mommy try and feed you again," she offered as she calmly picked up her baby.
Heading to the bus, he took it to his parents home. Frustrated, for the first time since learning of Hanako's pregnancy, he could begin to feel many emotions boil within him. 'I can't lose you Hanako. I'll fix this.'
As Kyoya walked, he picked up his phone, dialing Haruhi's cell.
"Hello?"
"Hi Haruhi, could you please put this call on speaker?"
"Sure, what's wrong?"
"So, what happened at the house? Hanako told me what she said. I'm sorry. It was something happening with her and I."
"It is alright. We talked about it, and we figured that once she was able to cool down that we could get together to apologize and such." Namiko said.
Kyoya nodded his head. "Sounds good, We'll set up a day. Have a good night girls." Kyoya said as he hung up his phone.
'Everything will be okay.' He thought, eyeing a jewelry store, mostly the rings.
Walking into the store, he looked through out the jeweler's shop.
Kyoya was so absorbed in his mission, he didn't hear the assistant.
"Sir, are you alright?"
Kyoya shook out of his stupor, looking up.
"Oh... I'm sorry. I've been trying to find an engagement ring for my girlfriend."
The woman smiled wide.
"Oh! I see. No worries. Sometimes places like this can be overwhelming. Can I ask, what is she like? Maybe I could assist?"
Kyoya pursed his lips.
"Well... Let's see..."
The woman moved to a catalog book, seeming ready to immediately find the one for him.
"How do I start?" Kyoya asked aloud, smiling as he thought about her. "She is beautiful, kind, an amazing mother, but also ambitious."
The woman smiled.
"She sounds like an amazing lady. Well... we have something that I have in mind for her, but may I ask, is there a color that you associate with her?"
Kyoya nodded, falling in love with Hanako all over again as he thought about it.
"Her eyes, are as close to emerald green as you can get... they are indeed beautiful."
"Perfect! Here, we have this ring." The woman said, pulling a box out of the glass counter.
The ring was very elegant, the band a gold metal shaped as intricately as willow branches, decorated with emerald accents throughout the piece, a small diamond in the middle. Knowing Hanako she wouldn't want anything too big.
Nodding to himself, he looked at her.
"How much?"
"It is 160,000 yen, sir. (About 1,530 USD)
Kyoya pursed his lips.
Did he have enough?
Well, he'd saved a decent amount, about six times the amount of the ring with the time he'd been working at the store.
"I'll take it."
"Do you know her ring size? I can resize it for free if needed."
"She's a size 6."
The woman smiled.
"Luckily for you, this is indeed a size 6. Let me just ring this up for you dear."
I smiled, knowing this would finally be something Hanako deserved for all of her hard work.
Once getting the bag, Kyoya thanked the woman before running out of the shop to the bus.
"I could just go home... No, I should give her the night, allow the negativity to fade."
Getting on the bus towards home, Kyoya sat, thinking about how he would ask her to marry him.
Hanako could almost feel relief washing over her at the silence. "Finally." She sighed.
Looking at the clock, she noticed it was late. "Alright Kouki, after this we are getting ready for bed. Hopefully Daddy will be back tomorrow." Hanako bit her lip. "Mommy needs to apologize to Daddy.
Kouki was falling asleep just shortly after his feeding.
Hanako rocked back and forth, rocking him, patting his back to burp him. "Maybe tomorrow we'll go over to Daddy's parents to pick him up?" She whispered, placing a gently kiss on the one month old's forehead.
As she laid him to sleep and got under the covers herself, she closed her eyes.
When only what seemed to be 5 minutes, she woke up immediately to the smell of something burning.
Her brows furrowed.
"What could that be?" She asked, looking towards the heater to see if anything was on or near it.
Getting up, she began looking around, she couldn't see anything, until she walked out the small balcony and noticed that the apartments on the other side of the complex were in flames and they were rapidly approaching her home.
Gasping, she grabbed the baby carrier and put Kouki in it, waking him, causing him to wail once more. Grabbing her and Kyoya's bag as well as Kouki's, already prepared from earlier that night, diaper bag had consumed too much time and she found herself trapped.
"Help! Please for the love of god! Someone help me!"
The screaming from outside covered hers for help. The fire was moving to her home, smoke filling the air.
"Please!"
She moved quickly, to shield Kouki's body from the smoke and flames.
She could feel the heat of the flames licking at her skin.
She felt tears running down her face. "Please! I don't want to die here!"
Mr. Kokan found himself driving home. He had sleep in his eyes, just thinking about getting to sleep once he got home. He happened to drive by Hanako's apartment when he came to a slamming halt.
"Oh my god! Where's Hanako?!" He panicked, running out of the car. He saw the landlord. "Is my daughter out?!" He asked, tears streaming down his face.
The elderly woman looked around, absolutely panicked. "Oh god! No! They and the baby must be up there!"
Mr. Kokan wasted no time as he ran up the rickety stairs, grabbing the knob, only to find that it was scalding hot. "Hanako!" He yelled.
Listening for a moment, he could hear a baby's sharp cries from the inside as well as Hanako's screams for help.
Mustering all of the strength he had within him, he slammed his shoulder into the door, smoke billowing out of the opening. He looked around frantically, finding his daughter in the far corner, Kouki in the carrier as she held him close.
Running back, he rushed her out, taking care to watch out for any weak spots in the floor.
Cheers rang as he hurried her over to the waiting ambulance.
"Hanako!" Mr. Kokan cried out.
The EMT's took her, checking her over worried. Her skin was dirty, brown from the smoke, her one arm looked to have a burn injury.
After checking her over, they walked over to Mr. Kokan.
"How is my daughter? My grandchild?!" He asked, in hysterics.
The female handed him a tissue.
"They are safe. They were lucky you got here when you did. They wouldn't have survived if you hadn't. Your daughter is so lucky to just get away with a minor burn."
"A minor burn?"
The male nodded. "Someone was protecting her. We are going to take her and her son to the hospital in about five minutes. Go speak to her."
Mr. Kokan looked to see Hanako sitting up in the ambulance.
Hanako cried and for the first time since before finding out about Kouki, she looked at her father. "You saved my son." She cried, hugging him tightly.
He held her tightly. "I saved my daughter as well. They're taking you two to the hospital. We all will be there soon. I will go and get your mom."
Hanako nodded, "Please... call Kyoya," she begged holding her whimpering son to her chest as the ambulance made its way to emergency care.
Mr. Kokan had tears running down his cheeks. His daughter and grandson almost died. He was so thankful he was passing by.
Pulling in front of his home, he saw his family inside, enjoying a meal. He wasted no time in running into the house.
"Everyone! We must hurry with supper."
The two kids came running over, Katashi quick behind them.
Mrs. Kokan looked at him, her expression very confused. "Why?"
"Hanako and Kouki, their house, all the apartments were blazed! She was trapped inside and I busted down the door. I was able to get them out. They are headed to the emergency care center."
"Oh god! Yes, everyone, please do hurry. I'm going to speak with your father." The children all ran with haste to get their coats and shoes. She walked with him into the living room, holding his gaze. "You saved them." She stated, tears running down her cheeks.
He nodded. "I was just driving home and was passing by their apartment. I saw the fire and my fatherly instincts... I ran up, broke down the door, and pulled them out. But they've lost everything. Kyoya wasn't there. Maybe at wor-"
He was unable to finish when Mrs. Kokan placed her lips upon his.
"You saved them. You've come back to me."
Mrs. Kokan hugged him tightly, her husband returning the embrace. "We will leave soon. What did the paramedics tell you?"
Mr. Kokan took a seat on the sofa. "They said she seemed okay though her arm was slightly burned, but they wanted to keep her and Kouki overnight."
Very soon made haste, stopping at a desk.
"Hi, How can I help you?"
Mr. Kokan spoke, "We are Hanako Kokan's family. Are we able to see her?"
The nurse nodded. "Of course, let me just see her room number... its room 203 on the third floor."
Quickly they moved. Upon arrival in the room, Hanako laid asleep, a baby hospital bed next to the bed as the two slept, face masks placed over Hanako's mouth, a bandage around her right arm.
"Oh my god. Where is Kyoya?" Katashi asked, tears running down his face.
"I don't know where Kyoya is. He could be working." Mr. Kokan stated. "She asked me to call him."
Mrs. Kokan nodded. "I'll call him." She walked over, looking at her daughter and grandchild as the doctor walked in.
"Hello. Ms. Kokan's family, yes?"
They all nodded in response.
"Hi, I'm Doctor Hoshino. We did a check on Hanako and Kouki. Shockingly, The baby is absolutely fine. Hanako holding his face against her helped to shield him from a majority of the smoke. Hanako though did seem to inhale a little too much. She is okay. Her heart rate was a little elevated, She has a minor burn on her right leg and right arm, but there was luckily no major damage done. It was all thanks to Mr. Kokan and his quick thinking."
Mr. Kokan looked at Hanako, so grateful that she was able to survive.
"Does anyone know where the child's father is?"
Mrs. Kokan shook her head. "I was just about to call him. Most likely he is at work."
The doctor nodded. "I only ask, mainly, because she was asking for him quite a bit."
Mr. Kokan grabbed his cell. Taking a deep breath, he dialed Kyoya's number. He knew this would be a major and well needed turned page.
Kyoya sighed, laying in his old bed, the room very empty but way too big to him now. Looking over on the nightstand, he looked at his clock, '2am...' He thought, his mind wide awake.
Looking out the window, he heard a knock on the door.
"Kyoya? Are you there?" He heard his father ask.
Furrowing his brows, he walked down the stairs in his room and opened the door.
Kyoya's family saw the distress and disheveled look to him.
"The driver notified us that you had stopped by." His mother said, hugging him.
"I've prepared tea young master Kyoya."
"Yes, may we drink this at the seating area in the room?" Fuyumi asked.
Kyoya nodded, knowing full well that his sister wouldn't take no for an answer.
As everyone took a seat, the maid placing the tea on the table, shutting the door on her way out, everyone could notice how tense Kyoya was.
"So," Kyoya's brother Akito said while clearing his throat, "Is something wrong Kyoya?"
"Yeah, you never just show up here anymore without a phone call."
Kyoya sighed, putting the teacup back on the table, resting his face in his one hand. "Hanako and I got into a large spat tonight. I figured staying here tonight would be in our best interest. That is if you don't mind me staying in here?" He asked, hoping they'd not refuse.
"Oh dear." Fuyumi mumbled, her tone worried.
"I don't mean to pry my son, but what is troubling you two?"
"Kouki... he's been so fussy. Getting him to sleep has been nearly impossible."
"Newborns sure are difficult until their schedules are figured out."
"So... a coworker of mine... I guess was attracted to me and she showed up at my house... telling Hanako to just give me to her... etcetera..." said Kyoya, remembering the fight all too clearly. "So, when I got home Hanako was understandably angry. She assumed from the incident that I was having an affair..." Kyoya sighed.
"Kyoya!" His mother gasped.
"I know. I told her that I wasn't, but we were both so angry. I got mad and told her that I would spend the night elsewhere. On the ride here, I was thinking about ways I could truly show her how much I love her, how much I appreciate everything, so I stopped at a ring shop."
Mrs. Ootori gasped again, a smile on her face.
"Planning to ask her to marry you?"
"Yes. I'm not... going to want anyone else."
Mr. Ootori nodded.
Kyoya could feel tears threaten to fall, but he held them back when all of a sudden Fuyumi screamed.
"What the hell?!" Her husband asked.
"K-kyoya, isn't that your apartment complex in that direction?!" She yelled.
Kyoya turned around to see a huge billowing cloud of black smoke, with an ominous flame at the base. He could feel the fear within him building.
"Oh my god!" Mrs. Ootori yelled.
Just then, Kyoya's phone rang. In his haste, he accidentally hit the speakerphone button.
"Kyoya?" He heard Hanako's father answer calmly.
"Mr. Kokan? Is Hanako alright?!" He asked, panicked.
"I was passing by. Hanako and Kouki were trapped in the flames. I broke in and was able to get them. She is admitted at the hospital in the Bunkyo ward-" Kyoya dropped his phone and ran, as did everyone else to the limo.
"To the hospital immediately!" Kyoya demanded
The driver didn't hesitate and Kyoya's family didn't scold him in his actions as they were all worried as well.
As soon as the family car got to the entrance of the hospital, Kyoya bolted from the car, no thought to anyone else
"Kyoya!" He heard his mother yell.
Calmly but frantically he ran to the desk, "Hello. I am Hanako Kokan's Boyfriend. I am looking for her room."
The nurse nodded. "Of course. She's on the second floor, room 203."
Kyoya nodded, running, his family not too far behind him.
He got into the elevator, his family filing in. He could feel his hear racing. She had to be okay!
He was so focused, he didn't notice or care to notice the looks of concern aimed towards him.
As soon as there was the slightest opening of the elevator doors, he bolted again, frantically searching for the room number.
Once finding her room, he stopped at the open door, Hanako's father already awaiting, to allow him in immediately.
Mrs. Kokan saw Kyoya's panicked face. Immediately his family close behind him
Kyoya nodded a thank you before walking in quickly, seeing his son in a hospital bassinet and his girlfriend on the hospital bed, both asleep.
His heart raced faster, the panic now starting to subside, where a new feeling of both relief and guilt settled.
"Why didn't I just go home?" Kyoya asked himself, visually observing the two.
Hanako's father, younger siblings, and older brother were sitting on the available couch, Kyoya's family was in the room as well but back towards the entrance.
Kyoya walked closer. He sat down on the hospital bed gently, as to not wake Hanako up. He eyed her over, seeing bandages wrapped around her arm and another around her leg, her oxygen mask over her face. He had left, and left them to danger!
The tears began to fall, his emotions overwhelming him.
He gently moved his arms, very gently caressing her, sobbing into her hair.
He imagined if he'd lost her, how extremely lost he would be. What kind of father could he be by himself? How could he ever forgive himself?
"The doctor said that her arm and leg only took minor burns, luckily." Mrs. Kokan said gently.
The emotions rushed at him fully and he rested his head against her chest, allowing him to hear her heart beating.
Before he knew it, Kyoya had tears rushing down his face. He looked at his son, resting peacefully. He gently grabbed his son, holding him close and sobbing.
"Thank god..." Kyoya sobbed.
"Kyoya..." He heard his family, sounding sad for him.
The families watched this, their hearts going out to the boy.
Kyoya held Kouki, feeling his heartbeat, feeling the rise and fall of his sons chest, the little whimper Kouki released.
Hanako woke to his cries, her vision adjusting before she could see him clearly. Coughing a little, she sputtered "Kyoya?" She looked at herself, hooked up to a bunch of machines and with a mask over her mouth. Her eyes got watery. She pulled the mask off, placing it on the little table next to her.
He looked up and he wrapped his arm around her, the most important people in his life in his arms.
Hanako hummed softly. "Why are you crying?" She asked, slowly raising a hand, to gently soothe Kyoya.
"I was so scared!" He cried. "I saw the flames and your mother called me. I was so afraid that you and our son had died" He sobbed. He pulled back, not caring who was there to see the emotions he usually kept hidden away.
Hanako hugged him tightly. "We are alive Kyoya. We are okay."
"I don't know what I would have done if I had lost you two." He sobbed louder,
Kyoya wasted to chance as he pressed his lips to hers, kissing her lovingly for a moment before pulling away.
Hanako ran her hand through his hair as he cried, Kouki sleeping peacefully in his daddy's arms.
"I'm so sorry Hanako! I'm so sorry."
She shook her head. "I'm sorry too. We're together now."
Near the door, Mr. Ootori and Mr. Kokan eyed one another. Nodding, they knew that their children had surely gone through the ringer. This family feud was over between them.
"Hanako, I did some thinking today..." he said, trying to wipe away his tears, "and I decided that I want you to be more than just my girlfriend." Hanako's eyes grew wide. "I have a ring for you... if you want me."
Hanako's eyes flowed.
"Of course I do!" She whimpered, her voice hoarse as she wrapped an arm around him.
Mr. Kokan and Mrs. Kokan watched and felt awed by the interaction. In their peripheral vision they saw Kyoya's family, the women having tears falling down their cheeks as well.
From this point on, they knew the anger that had plagued this family, all negativity was gone. They realized that family was the most important thing.
"I'm sorry as well." Mr. Kokan said.
"Dad?" Hanako asked.
"You needed me the most when you told us you were pregnant. At each chance I turned you away and had disowned you." He said, walking closer. "I'm so sorry. Until you figure out a new place for yourselves, you use Hanako's old bedroom and Kouki can use the spare room" He said, hugging them tightly.
Looking at Kyoya, he patted his shoulder, "I'm so sorry to you as well."
"Mr. Kokan?"
"Watching you run in here, you worried my daughter and grandson; your fiancé and child were not alright. Not to mention the tears you shed as you held them both to you so tightly. It showed me that I had been wrong all along. I was wrong. I'm sorry. There's something I need to say. Kyoya, Welcome to the family, son."
