Silver Beast: Fighting Fate
The past three days have been excruciating for Koga. Never in his life has he felt so sick. The first day he'd noticed something was wrong was when he'd felt a slight pinch in his chest. Instantly he felt a pull calling him to run towards the east. At first he thought it was nothing more than his instincts acting up. Ever since he'd come of age his inner demon had become more active in his mind. As the hours ticked by however more symptoms began to appear. First were the body aches, then quickly followed by a low-grade fever, a killer headache and an upset stomach. That night he began having erotic wet dreams, lusty thoughts and loins that burned with unsatisfied passion. Thinking he might be catching some weird demon virus he went to the local healer at the reservation for help. It was there he discovered the truth. There was only one reason why his body was acting like this.
His chosen mate at last had come of age and the strings of fate were telling his demon to go and find her. He'd laughed in the healers face when he'd told him this. There was no way his mate had come of age because Kagome's celebration was still weeks away. He'd waved off the news like it was nothing and acted like their meeting had never happened. He continued to go about his day until his demon grew impatient and began demanding to be set free. The more he ignored the calling to mate, the stronger the urge to shift into his true form became. It was after a long talk with his father that he finally accepted the truth. Kagome, the girl he'd fallen head over heels in love with wasn't his destined life mate. The thought of her being mated to someone else and being pupped with their seed made him angry. How dare the fate's damn him like this! He'd waited patiently to get into her pants like a good boy and has protected her house like a proper mate should.
Why were the gods mocking him like this? No one else deserved to be Kagome's mate but him! He refused to accept it. He refused to transfer into his demonic form to hunt out his life mate. The only way to reject ones' mate was to confront them in person and denounce their claim verbally. Only then could their bond be broken. He'd considered hunting down the mysterious female and ending things once and for all, but he feared his demon would act up once he saw her and prevent him from rejecting her. Then he'd be stuck with a bitch he didn't want and would lose Kagome forever. To avoid that from happening he decided to suffer through the pain until Kagome's celebration. He was certain once Kagome was mated to him the urges to be with anyone else would go away. To help distract himself from temptation he kept himself busy with his friends and working on his truck. The arrangement worked out fine until he was alone late at night in his room.
With no one to distract him from his dirty thoughts, he'd loose himself to his lust. No matter how many times he spilled his seed into his hand however, he was horny again minutes later. The constant boner and erotic wet dreams made him angry and agitated. He became aggressive and short tempered. He was exhausted and tired of having blue balls. The nights he was scheduled to patrol around Kagome's house were the worst. Smelling her sweet scent and hearing her soft voice through the walls were intoxicating. He remembered how beautiful her naked body had looked under the full moon. He could have watched her bask in the moon's rays for hours if she'd allow him. He couldn't wait to feel her body pressed up against his in the throws of passion. Knowing Inuyasha was taking refuge inside her room and was holding her close to his chest while she slept made his instincts to mate and protect her even worse.
It took all of his control to keep from breaking down the front door and taking her right then and there. He had to stay strong. He had to keep it together so Kagome could complete her training as a seer. He'd be the worst mate ever if he accidentally took her virginity before her birthday. She'd be left defenseless without her magic powers. As proud of a demon as he was, he realized there were times he couldn't always be at her side to protect her. It would be unwise to take away her powers. Plus, when they had pups, because they would have some, her magical genetics would be given to them. He didn't want to start off their mateship on a bad note and leave his family weak. Once her powers had completed their transformation he'd fight Inuyasha away and take her to his den. There he'd show her exactly who was top dog and make her forget about Inuyasha.
He'd discovered long ago that she tossed and turned a lot in her sleep. He knew this fact because he'd watched her sleep from the tree branch outside her window many times. Her being a fussy sleeper was fine with him because he'd get an erotic view of her shapely legs, toned tummy and occasional under breasts. She had no idea just how beautiful she was. He couldn't wait to make her howl and beg as he took her from behind. Just thinking about her firm ass made him groan. Kagome would be his in a few short weeks and no one was going to get in his way; not the fates, his father, Inuyasha or some random dame. Until that time happened he'd avoid temptation by keeping himself busy with Ginta and Hakkaku and working on his truck. The past couple of days it's been leaking oil. Having picked up mechanic work as a hobby he figured he'd be able to fix the problem himself. He was in the process of fixing his truck in his shop when someone arrived.
"Hello?" called a female voice. "Is anyone here?"
"In the back!" Koga yelled back as he meticulously worked under the hood of his truck.
He was draining the oil from his motor when two sparkly pink sneakers appeared beside his head. The shoe size was tiny and attached to them were slim ankles and shapely calves. The pale skin looked smooth to the touch, like it had recently been shaved and lathered in shae butter lotion. The sight made his mouth water and his loins twitch. He knew for a fact Kagome hated the color pink and never wore anything flashy or sparkly. Being surrounded by motor oil and gas fumes clogged his senses and made his eyes itchy. Who the hell was this bitch and why was she snooping around his shop? Curious to find out who she was he set down his tools, wiped his dirty hands on an old rag and pushed his mechanic rolling seat out from under the truck. His eyes widened in surprise when two glowing green eyes stared back at him. Before he knew what happened, his vision went black and his eyes glowed a bright blue.
His mind began racing with images of a little girl with bright red hair. She wore it up in pigtails and was playing with him in a playpen as a pup. She had a bright cheery smile and a bubbly giggle that made him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Soon the images changed to when they were in preschool. There he chased away the bullies on the playground and she stole away his first kiss behind the old oak tree. Image after image of them growing up together as pups flashed in his mind. Memories of them watching the stars together, taking long walks along the pier and drinking milk shakes at the diner. She'd been his best friend, his first love. He'd promised her they'd be together forever and that he'd mate with her upon her moon rainbow. A memory he'd purposefully forgotten about because he knew their love story could never be. Especially after what happened to their packs when they got into a fight.
His heart clenched at the memory of her moving away and joining the eastern tribe. Their packs could never work or live together again meaning their childhood love would have to end. It broke his heart watching her go. The sight of her teary green eyes staring back at him from the rear view window as her grandfather drove her away still plagued his dreams to this day. He remembered chasing after the car as it drove out of the reservation and howling his despair to the moon goddess. Their love had been broken apart by their families and were forbidden to keep in contact afterwards. They'd literally become a modern day Romeo and Juliet and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Years had passed before they'd been reunited. It had been awkward at first getting to know each other again but the chemistry between them had never died. Regardless of their attraction their tribes were still at odds with each other and old wounds at yet to heal. All they could be was friends. It was a forbidden romance, never meant to happen again; or so he thought...
