A few days had passed since Jasmine had managed to evade the police again. Despite her still being on the loose, Kyle was doing okay because he knew he was safe. His brothers were making sure of that, always making sure one of them was around in case they needed him. Heath was also doing a lot better after his stabbing and it wasn't affecting him as bad now so returned to work, which is where he was heading now when he was distracted by someone by the road, pulling over behind them and getting out of the car.

"Jasmine Shaw, thought you would have left the Bay by now considering the amount of police looking for you." He says, startling her as she turns around.

"I've come to get my daughter, then we're leaving." Jasmine says, and Heath notices she has a passport and tickets hanging out of her pocket.

"You don't have a daughter and if you did, she isn't here." Heath shrugs, needing to stall her until he thought of a plan.

"My daughter is Lillie." Jasmine firmly says.

"She is not your daughter and nothing you do or say will ever make you her daughter!" Heath hisses, taking some threatening steps forward.

"What and she's his daughter?" Jasmine scoffs. "Lillie is not your family, she's ours."

"What is wrong with you?" Heath frowns. "Why do you think Lillie is your daughter when she clearly isn't?"

"We can give her a good life, give her everything she would ever wish for. What could you give her apart from vendettas and gang crime?" Jasmine says.

"That's in our past, but you, you're wanted for a lot by the cops. They're out in force looking for you."

"And they're so good at their job, aren't they?" Jasmine scoffs. "I took Lillie once, I can do it again and nothing you will do will stop me." She smiles, walking away.

Heath saw red at her comment, needing to stop her now. He didn't think about what he was doing when he ran up behind her, shoving her to the ground. He did it to stall time, so he could call the police and get her arrested for her crimes against Kyle. But then he couldn't see her moving.

"Shit." Heath mutters, leaning down to find a pulse, not getting anything, then he saw a bloody rock next to her temple.

He couldn't risk the police coming along and seeing her lifeless body on the side of the road, so opened his boot up and lifted her inside, making sure he picked the rock up as well. The passport and tickets fell out as he did so, so he shut the boot before picking them up, seeing she had a fake passport and two tickets to America. He glanced around, not seeing anyone, so pulled out his phone to call the one person he'd hoped would know what to do. Getting in his car, he waited for them to arrive, trying to act normal as a cop car passed him, luckily not stopping as he pretended to be on the phone. Then they arrived and he got out.

"What's going on?" He asks.

"Brax, I've done something and now I don't know what to do." Heath panics, not needing to be arrested as he had Bianca and the kids to think about.

"What?" Brax asks, frowning as Heath pulls him closer.

"I killed Jasmine and now I've got a dead body in the boot of my car with cops sniffing about everywhere!" Heath quietly says, Brax staring him dead in the eye.

"We agreed to let the cops deal with her, for Kyle to get justice for what she did to him." Brax sternly says, shaking his head in anger.

"I know! But she was just right there with a passport and flight tickets. I couldn't let her get away with this. What do I do?" Heath asks, clearly not able to think straight.

"Give me your car keys and go home." Brax says.

"What?" Heath frowns.

"Now!" Brax glares, taking the keys off Heath before walking towards his car.

"How am I meant to get home?" Heath calls after him, Brax turning around and chucking him his ute keys.

"Do not tell anyone what you've done, not even Bianca." Brax firmly says, making sure no one was around to hear, Heath nodding in reply. "I'll sort it now just get home."

"What about these?" Heath asks, holding up the passport and tickets.

"What is it?" Brax frowns.

"A fake passport and plane tickets for her and Lillie. She had them on her." Heath says.

"This is good." Brax says as he takes them. "We keep this between us, I've got a plan."

'What sort of plan?" Heath asks.

"One that could lead them off the scent of murder. I might be gone a few days, don't let on why." Brax says, not saying any more as he gets in Heath's car, driving off down the road.

Pulling up on the drive, Heath sat there for a minute trying to keep his calm. Once he was sure he could act fairly normal, he headed inside, seeing the living room empty, so he heads to Kyle's room, seeing Casey with Bianca and Lillie. He wasn't sure how Kyle would cope knowing Jasmine was never going to be found but knew he couldn't say anything with Bianca there.

"How's it going?" Heath asks his wife, knowing she was going to be helping Kyle get his bond back with Lillie today.

"Not well. She won't settle for Kyle, cries every time he picks her up. This isn't like other times, she isn't settling at all despite having been changed and fed. She calms the second he puts her down which is not what we need. Kyle's stressed out now, which won't help but it's just as hard trying to keep him calm." Bianca replies.

"Why don't I try getting through to him?" Heath suggests.

"It's worth a shot." Bianca nods. "He went into the garden for some fresh air." She says, Heath heading out into the garden to see him.

"Hey mate." He lightly smiles, sitting next to him as he stares down at Bruno's harness. "You've got the bond with Lillie, it's just getting it back."

"She doesn't recognise me. She cried when I held her but she didn't cry that much for anyone else." Kyle mutters, wiping a tear away as he puts the harness down next to them. "I felt better when she was missing, at least she was happy."

"You don't mean that." Heath sighs.

"Yeah I do. She hasn't had to create a new bond with anyone for months. I can't do it."

"Lillie is your daughter, your blood. You've got a bond with her stronger than anything and nothing they did is going to ruin that. You aren't going to be able to prove anyone wrong by sitting out here. You need to do something." Heath says.

"Like what?" Kyle scoffs. "Give her back to Jasmine and Ryan for them to bring my child up like she's theirs, like they did from the moment they stole her from me?"

"No, you start back from the basics again. Create a bond like you would with any baby that doesn't recognise you." Heath says, turning Kyle to face him. "You need to get your daughter back, mentally that is. Why don't we go for a walk to clear your head, then we'll get you back to Lillie." He says, putting the harness on Bruno before leading him towards the gate, knowing Kyle would follow if he took his dog.

"Give him back, Heath!" Kyle glares, rushing after them. "You can't take him like that."

"I'm not stealing him, Kyle. Although it would make Darcy happy." Heath comments. "I'm trying to help you, just please let me do this."

"Fine." Kyle huffs. "It's going to be a waste of time, but if it makes you happy." He angrily mutters, a brief thought about why they were using Brax's ute, which he quickly dismissed as he got in the passenger side with Bruno jumping in after him.
