Kagome was content to walk around the shrine with her grandfather and it relaxed her to speak about pointless, inane things. Jii-chan had always been a good listener and a good sounding board; a lot of the time she found herself talking to him when she felt she could speak to no one else. And so she wasn't surprised to find that her conversational tail was wrapping around to the incident in the bathroom with Sesshoumaru.
Except that before she could even broach the subject, something dark pressed against her senses. Paling, she stood dead and pulled her grandfather closer. "Jii-chan…"
Katamasa's own senses tingled as he too felt the evil presence of whatever had stepped foot onto the Shrine grounds. Narrowing his eyes, stepped in front of Kagome. "I sense it," he murmured, straining his powers to try and get a better feel for it. But he was old and his powers had long since stopped growing. He looked at her over his shoulder. "Where?"
She sighed and then closed her eyes, spreading out her aura to blanket the Shrine grounds. It was hard to tell, at first, where it was because she could feel it in almost every nook and cranny but when she felt the largest mass of power, she smirked and opened her eyes. "The well house."
