No Way Out: 17/2/2002
WWF No Way Out was live at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event began with Vince McMahon introducing the New World Order (nWo). Kevin Nash explained that the NWO wanted to prove that nobody was better than them. Scott Hall spoke briefly before Hollywood Hulk Hogan explained that the NWO did not want to kill the WWF but to be given a chance.
The first match was a Tag Team Turmoil match to determine the #1 contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania X8. Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert were the first eliminated by Christian and Lance Storm after Christian pinned Scotty following an Unprettier. Christian and Storm were eliminated by The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) after Jeff pinned Storm following a Swanton Bomb. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) were eliminated by The Hardy Boyz after Matt pinned D-Von with a Roll Up. The Hardy Boyz were eliminated by Billy and Chuck after Gunn pinned Matt following a Fameasser. The APA (Faarooq and Bradshaw) eliminated Billy and Chuck after Bradshaw pinned Gunn following a Clothesline from Hell to win the match.
Next, Rob Van Dam faced Goldust. Van Dam executed a Rolling Thunder Senton on Goldust for a near-fall. After Van Dam missed a Five Star Frog Splash, Goldust executed a DDT on Van Dam for a near-fall. Goldust attempted a Curtin Call on Van Dam but Van Dam countered the move and executed a Spinning Heel Kick on Goldust for a near-fall. Goldust attempted a Bulldog on Van Dam but Van Dam countered the move and performed a Step Over Spinning Heel Kick on Goldust. Van Dam pinned Goldust after a Five Star Frog Splash to win the match.
The next matchup was the Wolfpack vs Boomer T and Test for the WWF Tag Team Championship.
In the arena, Booker T's theme hits and he and Test make their way to the ring...WHEN THEY'RE ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY THE WOLFPACK! Jackal and Bladewolf beat down Booker T and Test, stomping away on them before Bladewolf brings out his baseball bat...AND CRACKS TEST IN THE HEAD WITH IT!
Jackal sends Test over the barricade while he and Bladewolf roll Booker T into the ring and the referee just calls for the bell to begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Wolfpack stomp away on Booker T before Bladewolf picks him up and hits a backbreaker, allowing Jackal to rebound off the ropes and hits a elbow drop to the chest. Bladewolf grabs Booker T and lifts him onto his shoulders while Jackal rebounds off the ropes...AND DROPKICKS BOOKER T IN THE HEAD!
Bladewolf and Jackal see Test coming and quickly attack him, stomping away viciously and angrily, pissed off they lost the Tag Team titles again. Jackal lifts Bladewolf onto his shoulders in a powerbomb position while Bladewolf goes to the top rope. Bladewolf leaps off the top turnbuckle...AND THEY HIT THE WOLFPACK'S WRATH!
BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE WOLFPACK RETAINS ONCE AGAIN!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Down with the Sickness plays as the Wolfpack stands tall and are handed their titles by the referee, raising then, They now looked towards Wrestlemania where they face the APA for the titles.
Sorry for a short PPV chapter but I promise the match at WrestleMania will be longer instead of a quick squash match. I do them to show how dominant The Wolfpack are since they had a bad start as a team due to loosing a weak after winning their first WWF Tag Team Titles.
Also, you may see Bladewolf vs Hulk Hogan very soon.
