"Livvie, those babies are not our problem."

Olivia nodded in agreement. It was going to be a long day. Her class was having a Halloween party. Amelia was wearing a princess Jasmine costume and eating a pancake on a stick while Olivia put blue and white ribbons on her two ponytails.

"Can I wear my crown now?"

"Can you please keep your hair neat the whole day?"

"Okay. I'm a princess." Amelia said, looking at herself in the mirror with the crown.

"Fitz, she doesn't have anyone. She needs me."

"So what are you going to do? We have two kids here."

"We have a nanny. I can go help her in the afternoon when the babies are out of the hospital."

"You wanted a nanny, so you can have a break, and you're taking care of your mom's babies?"

"What is the alternative? Let her deal with post partum depression with newborn twins? Let them get adopted into a family and worry about their safety?"

"You need to let go of this guilt you are dealing with because of your decision. It's why you wanted Karen so you can get a second chance and now you're trying to bring two more babies home."

"Karen would be here anyways."

"She wouldn't be here every day. We would be co-parenting with Mellie when she divorced her husband."

"What am I supposed to do?!"

"Mom, why are you screaming?"

"I'm sorry Amelia. Can you play with your toys until we leave for school?"

"Okay."

"Two weeks ago, you were crying about a pregnancy scare. Now you want to take care of babies that are not your own. I'm starting to wonder if you only have a problem with the kids that come from you."

"You know the issues I had with Jake."

"Okay, so why were you so afraid of being pregnant with our baby?"

"I'm not pregnant. These babies are here now, and my mom needs me."

"I don't want you to overwork yourself."

"I'm fine."

"I want to give out the pizza!" Elana said.

"Can I help give out the pizza?" Amelia asked.

"Yeah, here are the gloves. Elana you can give out the juice boxes."

"Your candy is in my purse." Olivia said, when Amelia came to her desk.

She needed to make sure that Amelia didn't eat any candy from the buckets on the party table.

"That candy will make me have to go to the hospital."

"Yeah, come to my desk when you finish your pizza, and I'll give you some candy."

Olivia pressed play on the remote control and turned off the lights in the classroom. The principal didn't care about her giving her class a break the whole day. He didn't want to deal with anyone, so the less complaints from teachers the better his day. They were watching Trolls, Moana, and Frozen the whole day. Olivia had another pizza coming in a few hours. Olivia was amazed that she didn't have to break up fights in the classroom while they were watching movies. There was usually always someone crying at least once during the school day. He hit me or kicked me and tears while she was trying to teach the curriculum. Olivia was lost in her thoughts. She was worried about her mom and herself. It was still too early to take a pregnancy test. Maya was going to keep Amelia if Olivia couldn't deal with her emotions, so why couldn't she keep her own babies? Newborns need more care than a six year old. Maya could handle it when she got into a routine.

At the end of the school day, Olivia took Amelia with her to the hospital. Karen was still at daycare. Fitz was at his office. Maya was eating lunch and watching tv. She was in a better mood.

"Grandma you had two babies?!"

"Yes."

"Where are the babies?"

"In the nursery."

"You have two babies and mom has one baby."

Maya nodded and smiled.

"Let's go see your babies."

"They are really little, so they have to stay in the nursery."

"You can have Karen. She's boring. You will have three babies."

Maya smiled and laughed. "You are funny Amelia."

"Do you want me to get you anything from the vending machine?" Olivia asked Maya.

"No, I can go home tomorrow. I'm tired of the hospital."

"Okay. Let's go princess Jasmine. I know you're hungry. You can have some graham crackers and a juice." Olivia said, reaching for Amelia's hand.

"I want dinner."

"We're going to a restaurant in a few hours."
