Inclination

Kagome flushed from the roots of her hair to the tips of her toes as understanding dawned. When Sesshoumaru had sounded put upon about being canceled on, she had assumed it was because of her continued avoidance tactics after what had happened in her family shrine, in the bathroom. Never had it occurred to her that he was attempting to introduce her to his mother, who, it seemed, was very, very pushy.

A smirk formed on perfect lips and the demoness leaned back again, every confident. "I see you understand my predicament then," she said smoothly, clearly amused as the smirk threatened to turn into a smile.

Nodding, she offered up a sheepish smile. "I wanted a couple hours to myself," she admitted, relaxing just a smidge. "I can't say I wouldn't have canceled even had I known I was going to meet you."

A slight shoulder rose in a one armed shrug. "A woman is expected to make her own decisions. Were I more inclined I would say that I wish I had not met you, having met you already. However…" she paused, gave a delicate sniff even as mischief shown in violet eyes. "I am not so inclined."

Kagome smiled, and relaxed completely as she held her hand out. "Let's try this again. Hello! My name is Kagome and it's a pleasure to meet you!"

A small hand reached out to clutch her own and gave a surprisingly firm grip. "This one is called Fuiasu and it has certaintly been interesting meeting you, Kagome-chan."
