Feline

Kagome nudged the door of her apartment open with her elbow, her arms and hands laden with bag upon bag that was the result of her hours long shopping spree with Sesshoumaru's mother. She was exhausted now; her feet ached, her hair was even messier than before from trying everything on and she was starving!

Glancing around the place, she was pleased to remember that she had indeed cleaned the night before and would therefore not be embarrassed, at least not about the cleanliness of the place. Behind her, she heard the musical tones of her shopping partner as she spoke into a cell phone and hurried into the place so she wasn't blocking the doorway. Once inside, she quickly disengaged the alarm and dropped all her bags on the coffee table and couch.

From the window, a tiny cream colored cat mewed in greeting and jumped down to meet her, her two black tipped tails swishing back and forth as she rubbed against Kagome's legs. "Hello, Kirara," she murmured, kneeling down to pick up the feline.

The phone shut with a snap as Fuiasu strolled into the apartment. "That was Sesshoumaru dear. He said that you and he would have to speak about your untruth. I told him to buy you a cell phone and stop using messengers." Gleefully, she slammed the door behind her and dropped her bags next to Kagome's, only to stop short, violet eyes narrowed on the creature in the miko's arms. "That is a feline," she said accusingly.
