Using the handkerchief in his coat pocket, Mike reached for Horatio's glass with a gleeful smile, before taking it out to the bullpen.

Knowing that he'd been caught, the young man grunted in dissatisfaction, the only noise he'd made since arriving at Headquarters, then falling silent again.

"Art, can you take this down to the lab, and have them pull the prints for R&I?"

He waited until the Sergeant got up and grabbed the glass, before closing the interrogation door behind him and walking over to Steve, who was busy gathering his coat and badge.

"That phone call have anything to do with where are you off to?"

"Yeah.", Steve muttered and straightened out the collar of his beige sportcoat, "That was Erin McMillan saying she found some stuff of Forney's at her apartment that has her concerned. She asked that we check it out. Might be enough evidence for an arrest yet."

With a wily smile, Steve pointed his chin at the interrogation room ahead.

"You gotten any farther?"

"I've got finger prints.", Mike countered and slowly walked back to the room ahead, flanked by his partner, "Going to run them through now, see if our friend has a jacket. Make sure you take Haley with you, ok?"

"Already called him. He should be here in a couple of minutes."

Both detectives fell quiet when they noticed Horatio using his index finger to draw shapes against the wooden table. Sharing a surprised glance, Steve reached for his black notepad and cocked his head, hoping to discern the outlines.

"I think it's letters…", Mike mumbled, as they waited for the young man to repeat his peculiar behavior, "Five of them…"

Completely oblivious, or perhaps by choice, Horatio continued his compulsive drawing despite his audience, repeating the letters over and over again, his actions seemingly speeding up.

"First letter is F", Mike said, one hand on his partner's wrist as Steve wrote down the information, "P…then C…another F…and L."

"What…that's not even a word. Are you sure?"

"Yes, absolutely.", the Lieutenant insisted after watching Horatio go through the same spiel again.

"That's a weird acronym. I can run it through R&I to see if they come up with something. F…Fraternal something, something League perhaps? Some actors group maybe?"

"Could be anything. Let's see what the guys downstairs come up with. I will run this past a couple of the guys down in Vice too, see if they've come across it before."

Nodding in agreement, Steve glanced toward the glass walled vestibule when he heard Haley enter, Haseejian right behind him.

"You ready to go, Kiddo?"

"Ready as ever.", the young Inspector countered, before turning back toward his partner, "Wish me luck. This could be our case break."

"Don't rely on luck.", Mike scolded, unable to shake the off his growing worry, "Use your head and be careful. I'll radio as soon as we get something back from the guys downstairs…and the lab."
