"You should be at home relaxing." Olivia said, inviting Maya and Bernadette into her home.
"I don't want to sit down. How are you Livvie?"
"I'm great."
"Was Sophia good?" Bernadette asked.
"My cookie jar is broken. Other than that, Sophia was okay."
"Sophia, you broke Olivia's cookie jar?!"
"I wanted a cookie."
"I'll replace it."
"No, it's fine. I really need a plastic cookie jar."
"Maya when are you getting a husband? You keep having babies without a ring." Sophia asked.
"When are you going to learn to tie your shoes?"
"You are always putting the cart before the horse."
"Tickle attack!"
Sophia laughed and ran. Almost running into Amelia.
"Grandma I made you a picture."
"Thank you Amelia."
"Where are your babies?"
"They are still in the hospital. They will be home in a few months. I will take you to see the babies when I feel better."
"Can I go see the babies?"
"No."
"Why not?!"
"Because I'm not chasing you around the hospital. Amelia is so well behaved. I'm better at parenting than you mom." Maya said to Bernadette.
"Olivia is Amelia's mom. You're giving yourself too much credit."
"I raised Livvie."
"Okay, can we not argue about who is the better mom." Olivia said.
"I made a picture for you mom."
Olivia leaned down and put Amelia on her hip. "Thank you." She said, kissing her cheek.
"Can I go home with Sophia?"
"You want to go with Aunt Sophia?"
"She can come with us." Bernadette said.
"Can you bring your Leapfrog and your Kindle tablet?" Sophia asked.
"Yeah."
"Grandma, they have a lot of energy."
"I'm fine. Maya can take over when I need a break."
"My sister and my grandchild together. I will never get a break."
"You're getting a break every day. I'm moving to DC." Bernadette said.
"Fine mom. I don't want Sophia destroying my house. I'll call you later Livvie."
