Stewie was having another vision of the past.
He was standing in the courtyard of Winterfell. Two young boys were training with swords. They were Stewie's father, Peter Griffin, and Peter's brother Thaddeus.
Peter had just knocked Thaddeus to the ground. Thaddeus got back up. "Keep your shield up or I'll ring your head like a bell," Peter warned him.
A girl came riding into the courtyard on a horse and started riding in circles around the two boys. She looked just like Meg, and was even wearing a hat just like hers. "Stop showin' off, Lyanna!" Peter objected.
"Would you get out of here?" Thaddeus yelled at Lyanna. "We're sparring!"
"Who are you gonna spar with when Peter goes off to the Eyrie?" Lyanna asked.
"I don't know," Thaddeus admitted.
Lyanna turned. "What about him?"
At first Stewie thought she was looking at him, but that was impossible. Bran had told him no one from the past would be able to see him. But when Stewie turned around himself, he realized who Lyanna was talking about.
It was a younger version of Hodor.
"Willis, come here," Lyanna said to Hodor.
"But he's got giant's blood," Thaddeus objected.
"An' you've got trainin'," Peter said. "Sounds like a fair match to me."
"Thaddeus always lifts his chin when he's about to charge," Lyanna told Hodor.
"And lowers it when he's goin' to dodge, m'lady," Hodor said. Stewie was amazed. Hodor could talk! Apparently, he hadn't always been a lackwit.
Young Hodor picked up a sword and was about to face Thaddeus when a woman came and dragged Hodor away. "You leave the fightin' to the little lords, Willis," she said.
"Why do you keep calling him Willis?" Stewie asked out loud. "That's Hodor!"
All of a sudden, Stewie felt himself being yanked back into the present. Next thing he knew he was back in the cave.
"I wanted to stay in there a while longer!" Stewie complained.
"I know," said Bran. "But it's dangerous to stay in the past for too long. You might get stuck."
"So, Hodor's real name is Willis?" Stewie said. "Why can't he speak properly anymore? What happened to him?"
"You'll find out in due time," Bran replied.
Mabel was slumped on the floor of the cavern. "This is lame. While Stewie's having cool time travel adventures, Dipper and I have just gotta sit here!"
"Is there any way I could take Mabel and Dipper back with me next time?" Stewie asked.
"Afraid not," Bran said. "They're not wargs like you."
"What's the point of us even being here then?" Dipper said.
Bran looked at Dipper and Mabel. "I'm sorry you're bored," he said, "but while it seems you can't do anything for Stewie now, he will have great need of you when he finally leaves this cave."

Outside, Bertram was standing at the bottom of the hill, looking up at the entrance to the cave. Bill Cipher hovered by his side.
"So, Stewie's in there?" Bertram said.
"That's right," said Bill. "I can't go in after him because a magic even more powerful than mine is preventing me from entering. But you're not a magical creature. You're a regular old human, just like Stewie! You can walk right in there."
"And I can kill him," Bertram said. "Victory will be mine!"
He drew his knife, the same one he had used to stab Craster.
