Kanan was sitting on the ground of Lothal, contemplating and meditating as he remembered the time he had with his Girlfriend and the twins.

"Wanna ride?" He recalled asking Ezra after he just met her about five years ago on Lothal back when she was still male.

"The Jedi temple is in danger," He then heard Ezra saying in his mind.

"Kanan, you haven't gotten me a present since we first met," he then heard Hera telling him in his mind.

"You can learn what it true means to be a Jedi," he then recalled telling Ezra after they saved Wookies from being slaves on the spice mines of Kessel after they met.

"You didn't prepare me for this, Kanan," he heard Ezra saying in his mind.

"There's something I need to tell you," he then heard himself say to someone and knew that it was in the future and that he was speaking to Hera.

"You can always count on me, my love and take care of our child," he then heard Ezra tell someone and knew that it was in the future as Ezra has never had a sexual relationship with anyone nor had a child as he even though he was blind stared at a white Loth-wolf in the distance before it walked away.

"I need you to do something for me," Kanan told Ezra as he sensed her approaching him from behind.

"Anything," she told him.

"Take the lead on getting Hera back " he told her.

"Shouldn't you be the one to do that?" She asked him with confusion.

"I would, but I can't think clearly because of the way I feel about her," he explained, "I might make a mistake. One that could cost us."

"We can do this together," she suggested.

"No," he refused as he got up from the ground and turned to her, "I'll be with you, but this has to be your plan. You lead."

"If that's what you want," she said as she complied with her Master's statement.

"It's what we need if we're going to save Hera," Kanan said as he turned away, "And everyone else."

Meanwhile at the Imperial Complex, Governor Pryce was sitting in a chair around her desk in her office holding a datapad in her hand as she used it to electrocute Hera with it as she was placed in an interrogation chair as she wore an Imperial prisoner uniform and groaned in pain.

"You have a lovely voice, General Syndulla," Pryce told the Twi'lek before clicking on the datapad again to electrocute her with the interrogation chair, Hera groaned in pain again as soon as the electricity stopped as Thrawn entered the room when she was suddenly electrocuted yet again.

"Has she revealed the location of the rebel fleet?" Thrawn asked Pryce as he walked up to her desk.

"Oh, I haven't begun asking questions yet," she told him before clicking on datapad yet again, causing the interrogation chair to electrocute Hera again with her groaning in pain.

"Then allow me," Thrawn said as the electricity from the chair stopped electrocuting Hera.

"I'll die before I tell you anything," Hera told him.

"I imagine you will, General," Thrawn stated as he brushed dust off of his Grand Admiral coat, "Like so many of your friends in the failed attack, and so much of your family back on Ryloth. I wanted to ask you about your kalikori." He then picked up her kalikori as he turned back towards her, "I like to know the deeper meanings of the pieces I collect. To me, they are not merely trophies, but symbols that truly represent some of my greatest adversaries."

"You don't need to know what it means, since I'll be taking it back," Hera scoffed at him.

"From my own analysis, I have determined that these shapes represent individuals important to you at some time in your life," Thrawn told her before pointing at one of the designs on the Kalikori, "This design I found most interesting, for it seems to refer to a brother, one who died while he was still quite young. I imagine it is a bittersweet memory for you."

"You aren't worthy of holding that, let alone understanding it," Hera told him.

"Of course. I do apologize. However, it's legacy likely ends with you. You should take heart knowing that this work of art is at least appreciated by its new owner," Thrawn told her before turning to Pryce, "Governor Pryce, I'll leave you to complete her interrogation."

"I don't care much for art," Pryce told Hera as Thrawn left the room and walked up to her with the datapad in her hand before clicking on it, causing the interrogation chair to electrocute her yet again with her screaming in pain.

"Anything?" Zeb asked Ezra as he stood with Sabine behind Ezra on her tower as she had one of her arms extended outwards while she held her helmet to her with her other arm as Chopper stood with them, while Sabine held her helmet to her side as well as she punched him before shushing him.

"I know where she is," Ezra said as she lowered her arm, a few seconds later and turned to her sister and Zeb, "She's in the dome in Governor Pryce's office."

"The administrative offices would be on the 157th level," Sabine told her sister as she and Zeb walked up next to her, "D block."

"Okay. So how do we get past all the patrols, gun turrets, and watch towers?" Zeb asked, "It's not like we can fly in."

"That's exactly what we'll do, on gliders," Ezra confirmed.

"I wasn't trying to give you an idea," Zeb told her.

"Mmm, no Ezra's right. The Empire's equipped to counter sophisticated weaponry and targets. They won't be looking for something low-tech like a simple glider," Sabine told him.

"I don't know. If we get spotted, we're at a pretty big disadvantage," Zeb argued.

"No. We'll just look like Loth-bats," Ezra explained when Chopper suddenly grunted a response as she pointed at the domed Imperial Complex in the distance, "Look toward the south entrance, where the garbage chute is." She then pulled out a pair of electrobinoculars and handed them to Zeb who took them and placed them on his eyes, "I bet we can glide right past them and never be noticed."

"Right," Zeb muttered as he removed the electrobinoculars from his eyes, "So where do we get these gliders?"

"Easy. We make them," Sabine answered.

Back at the cave dwelling area, Kanan sat inside the cave with his legs folded and grabbed his lightsaber from his hip and placed it to his side as he sat In front of small stone-like table with a knife on top of it before taking off his mask that was covering his eyes in front of the knife on the table and picked up the knife and placed on the back of his head to cut his ponytail.

Outside the cave on the plains, Sabine, Ezra, Chopper and Jai used welding tools as the others, which included Zeb, Jai and Ryder placed parts of off speeders and attached them to the gliders.

Back in the cave, Kanan placed his hand on his chin over his beard as he placed the knife on the side of his head at his beard.

"Finished," Sabine exhaled as she finished spraying the glider with her Baobab E23 Airbrush.

"How can you tell?" Zeb asked as he walked up to her as all three gliders were standing up as they were finished as they were made of wood and fabric.

"I'll let Kanan know we're ready," Ezra said as she walked away from one of the gliders that she was working on with the others.

"I know," they heard Kanan say and she was shocked as she saw that he had shaved his beard, sides of his hair and cut his hair to the top of his forehead and smiled as he approached her, "Let's go get Hera."

Soon Ezra and Sabine wore TIE pilot uniforms and dyed their hair dark brown, their natural hair color as they got on the gliders as they were attaching the gliders to one another with a metal hook while Zeb grunted as he stood up and walked towards Kanan.

"What's the matter?" Kanan asked Zeb.

"It's probably good you can't see this flying contraption," Zeb told him, "This is one of those times I'm glad the Force is with you." Kanan chuckled as he said this and placed his hand on his back as they walked past Chopper.

The twins began to climb onto the gliders as their TIE pilot helmets sat on the wings of the gliders as Kanan climbed into the harness of one of the gliders as the twins picked up their TIE helmets and placed them over their heads as they laid in there harnesses as well while Chopper held one end of the hook after Zeb placed another side of it onto the glider nearest to the speeder bike and flew onto the back end of the bike.

"Ready…" Ezra began as Zeb sat down on the bike's seat and he nodded a response, "Go!"

With that, Zeb started up the bike's engine and drove it out into the plains and chopper grunted as he let go of his end of the hook as the gliders began to climb up into the air as Ezra unhooked her glider from the hook that Chopper held in his hand.

"Go get her. Bring her back!" Zeb shouted out to Kanan and the twins flew away with all of the hooks detached from one another.

"Your TIE defender program is at risk. Orson Krennic has been quite persuasive about diverting the funding to his own project, Stardust," a hologram of Tarkin told Thrawn as the Grand Admiral sat in his desk's chair in his office on his Star Destroyer, the Chimera.

"The Emperor has assured me that he supports my project," Thrawn told the Grand Moff.

"In my view, Director Krennic's project has been nothing but expenses and excuses for years on end," Tarkin told him, "If construction of the defender is to continue, you must make your case directly to the Emperor himself. I have already arranged the meeting."

"I'll leave immediately, Moff Tarkin," Thrawn replied before the hologram of Tarkin disappeared as he stood up and activated his desk's comm system after turning off the hologram of his TIE defender on his desk, "Commander, inform Governor Pryce I'm departing for Coruscant. As soon as you have your course, make the jump into Hyperspace."

With that, the Chimera jumped into Hyperspace.

"I don't know about you, but those things sure creep me out," a stormtrooper told another stormtrooper as they walked around a platform at the Imperial Complex as a Loth-bats above them shrieked as it flew by with the gliders that Ezra and Sabine along with the others built earlier flying by.

"Ah, just ignore 'em," the other stormtrooper responded, "At least they're not as dangerous as those Loth-cats."

"Anything to report?" Rukh asked them as he walked towards them.

"Nothing here, sir, just the same as usual," one of the stormtroopers reported as Rukh sniffed around the area, "Loth-bats…" Rukh jumped onto the rail nearby and continued to sniff as he saw Loth-bats flying around before jumping back onto the platform they were on.

Ezra, Kanan and Sabine on their gliders soon landed onto the Imperial complex's south entrance's garbage chute with their gliders after flying across the streets of Capital City with them.

"No alarms," Ezra noted as she removed her TIE pilot helmet from her head as they all stood up from the glider harnesses, "So far so good."

"People never pay enough attention to the world around them," Kanan told her.

"Good thing you taught me otherwise," she told him.

"You're a good listener, Ezra, even before your transformation four years ago. It served you here and it will serve you again in the future," he said as he placed his hand on her shoulder.

"What do you mean?" She asked him.

"I hate to break up the moment, but we got to keep moving," Sabine said as she grabbed some magnetic clamp-like devices and showed them to Kanan, "Magnetic climbers. They'll stick to the dome's surface."

"Perfect, thank you," he said as she gave him the magnetic climbers.

"Okay, Pryce's office is about six levels down," Ezra told Kanan as she reapproached him after looking down the side of the building's chute, "Hera should be…"

"I know where she is…" he said, interrupting her.

"All right. We'll get the ship. Signal us when you're ready," Ezra told him as she and Sabine rushed away from the chute while Kanan rushed towards the edge.

"Ezra, Sabine," he said, calling out to the twins who turned around to him, "May the Force be with you." He hopped off the edge of the chute as he said that before the twins placed their TIE pilot helmets back over their heads as they went to climb up a ladder while Kanan began climbing down the side of the dome with the magnetic climbers and as he passed by one of the windows of a room and saw Hera's kalikori and climbed back up to the window and placed one of the magnetic climbers on the ledge of the window and he extended his other arm outwards to use the Force in order to get his girlfriend's kalikori.

Meanwhile inside the dome, the twins rushed forwards before stopping as a group of stormtroopers walked by and continued on, walking as the stormtroopers walked past them and then continued running down the corridor.

"Since you're unwilling to tell me the location of the rebel fleet, perhaps the Imperial mine probe will be more persuasive," Pryce suggested as she walked around Hera who was still strapped in the interrogation chair in her office as an IT-O Interrogation droid appeared next to her and began to approach Hera, "Let's begin." Hera groaned in pain as the interrogation droid's syringe was injected into her neck as she began to get dizzy as her vision goes fuzzy. "Now, you will tell me the location of the rebel fleet."

"They're in the… In the..." Hera began in a slurred sounding speech.

"Where are the rebels?" Pryce demanded as she snapped Hera back to reality.

"Huh? Kanan's here," Hera said as she looked at the window in front of them and saw Kanan in the window.

"You're delusional, my dear," Pryce told her as she turned around to see no one in the window, "Perhaps, I pushed you too far."

"I need to speak with you, Governor," Rukh said as he entered the room with the two stormtroopers from before.

"I'll just be a moment," Pryce told Hera and left the room with Rukh as the interrogation chair tilted downwards to stand up.

"I'm gonna be honest with you two. You're in terrible trouble," Hera told the two stormtroopers who then looked at one another, "I wonder how he's gonna get in."

A lightsaber blade came through the floor and rotated around in a circle beneath one of the stormtrooper's feet, causing him to look down, "Huh?" He then screamed as he fell through the hole to his death as Kanan had one of his magnetic climbers on the bottom of the floor.

"Ah. I thought he'd come through the window," Hera said to herself as she looked down and saw where Kanan was as he climbed through the hole and reignited his saber.

"This is LS-261. We're under attack!" The other stormtrooper said into his helmet's comlink as he began to run out of the room only for Kanan to grab him with the Force and pushed him through the window, shattering it on impact and yelled to his death and Kanan turned to the interrogation droid and stabbed his saber into it, disabling it as it fell to the floor and kicked it down the hole.

"That droid really deserved that," Hera commented as Kanan rushed to the door and stabbed his saber into the panel on the side of the doorway before deactivating it and rushed to her and opened up the interrogation chair's restraints over her feet.

"Sorry, I guess I'm a little late," he told her as he opened up the interrogation chair's restraints that were placed around her torso.

"I forgive you," she told him as she fell into his arms.

"Oh! I see," he began, "We're in a special mood thanks to the interrogation droid."

"Well, I didn't like that droid, Kanan," she told him.

"I didn't like that droid either," Kanan said, agreeing with her as he picked up the magnetic climbers as he began to help her walk as he placed her arm around the back of his neck and began walking towards the window.

"Wait. Wait," Hera said as she noticed that he has cut his hair and shaved his beard, "I have to tell you something. I… I hate your hair."

"It's the best I could do without a mirror," Kanan told her as he chuckled for a second.

"Your hair hasn't been this short since we first met," She added.

"That reminds me, I brought you a present," he told her.

"A present?" She repeated, "Kanan you haven't gotten me a present since we first met."

"I know. But you'll like this one," he told her as he took out her kalikori.

"Oh. Kanan…" she said with disbelief as she took it, "This is mine."

"I know," he replied.

"Then it's not really a present," she told him when suddenly they heard a muffled thump and electricity crackling from outside the door.

"Party's over. Let's go!" Kanan announced as he realized that the Imperials were trying to force their way through the door and she grabbed onto his back as he placed the magnetic climbers on the ledge above them and began to ascend upwards as the door finally opened with Pryce, Rukh and a group of death troopers entering the room and Rukh hopped onto the table and began sniffing before looking up and jumped upwards.

"Rebels are in the base," Pryce realized as she turned to one of the death troopers, "Lock down the facility and scramble the gunships! Blast them on sights!" The death trooper she was staring at nodded and replied in a scrambled voice as it ran out the room with the other death trooper.

Ezra and Sabine soon entered the Imperial Complex's hangar as multiple Imperial patrol transports took off of the ground.

"Well, I guess Kanan got Hera out," Ezra stated as she saw the Imperial patrol transports take off.

"I'll fly," Sabine told her as they rushed forward as stormtroopers ran onto one of the Imperial patrol transports while a TIE pilot stood to tie Imperial patrol transport's side as Sabine walked up to him while Ezra rushed into the Imperial patrol transport. "Hey, pilot! You've been reassigned."

"I wasn't informed…" the pilot said with confusion.

"Come here. I'll show you the orders," she said before, punching him in the stomach, knocking him out.

"Aren't you the copilot?" The stormtrooper commander asked Ezra as he held onto the rail above.

"I'm the backup pilot, so I'm here, in the back," she answered, causing the other stormtroopers to look at one another with confusion but shrugged it off.

"Prepare for takeoff," Sabine said as she sat in the cockpit and activated the engines as Ezra and the others held onto the rail above them as the Imperial patrol transport took off and flew away from the Imperial Complex with the other Imperial patrol transports.

"I knew you'd come," Hera told Kanan as he climbed up the dome with her on his back while far below, Rukh followed them up, "I am not letting you go this time."

"I hope not. It's a long way down," he remarked as they soon reached the top of the dome's south entrance's chute where they landed the gliders at.

"You've always been there for me," she told him as she turned around on her back, "Whenever I needed you."

"Well, that's the job, isn't it?" He asked.

"No, that is not what I'm saying," she replied as she stood and nearly fell off the chute but Kanan was quick enough to grab her before she fall off.

"What are you saying?" He asked.

"Whoa, did you fly in on those things?" Hera asked as she noticed the gliders nearby.

"Yeah," Kanan confirmed as he rubbed the back of his head with his hand, "The twins came up with that one."

"Not bad," Hera said as they began to walk towards the gliders.

"With any luck, Ezra and Sabine are finding us a better ride," Kanan told her.

"Oh, I don't know, I kind of want to try those," Hera said as she sat down on the harness of one of the gliders.

"You would," Kanan remarked as she began to get into the harness, "Hera… There's something I need to tell you."

"Look out!" Hera cried out as she saw Rukh jump up from behind Kanan and grabbed his electro-staff and fired blaster bolts from it, causing Kanan to ignite his saber and deflected the blaster bolts with it before Rukh extended his electro-staff's electrical feature as its ends sparked with electricity and rushed toward the Jedi Knight to attack him with it, only for Kanan to block his attack as both the lightsaber and electro-staff went into a saberlock until Rukh jumped backwards into the air, causing Kanan to drop his lightsaber and Rukh carved back towards him as Kanan used the force to grab his lightsaber only for the electro-staff to knock the lightsaber off of the building as it reached him, Rukh then rushed towards him yet again, only for Kanan to extend both of his arms out and Force pushed him off of the chute before Death troopers from on top of the ladder behind them began firing upon them as Hera grabbed Kanan's blaster from it's holster on his hip and fired it at one of the death troopers as she sat on her butt. "Try this!" She stated as she handed him back his blaster as she rotated one of the gliders.

"What are you doing?" Kanan asked as he fired his blaster pistol at one of the death troopers as he sensed what Hera was doing.

"Time to go," she answered.

"We'll go together. You fly!" He said after firing his blaster pistol at stormtroopers on the catwalk above them.

"Of course. Now, come on!" Hera told him as he got on the glider next to her as it took off from the building and Rukh, who held onto the balcony watched as the stormtroopers continued to fire upon them as one of the wings caught fire, "Got a problem here!"

"It's not so bad. You're doing fine," Kanan reassured her.

"That is not fine!" She exclaimed as the fire expanded.

"Just keep us in the air as long as you can," Kanan stated.

"What choice do I have?" She muttered.

"That's the spirit!" He said to her, "Can you make it to the fuel depot?"

"I'll try, but we're losing altitude fast," she replied.

"Governor Pryce, the rebels are headed for the fuel depot," Rukh said on Pryce's comlink as she walked with two AT-AT pilots in the Imperial Complex's hangar near AT-ATs.

"I'll mobilize walkers. We'll trap them there," Pryce said into her comlink.

"This is gonna be close!" Hera told Kanan as they neared the fuel depot in the glider.

"It always is!" He remarked and soon they crash landed on the ground around the fuel depot and began to door up groaning as within seconds of the glider crashing towards the depot, "That was one of your better crashes."

"Kanan Jarrus, you know I never crash. I have very…" she began.

"Very exciting landing," he finished for her, "Thanks for reminding me. Come on." And with that they ran through the depot.

"Specter-5, do you read?" Kanan said in Sabine's comlink as she flew the Imperial patrol transport, "How are you coming with that ship?"

"Kanan! Sabine answered with relief, "Did you get her?"

"Of course he did," Hera replied on the comlink.

"Yes!" Ezra cried happily, confusing the stormtroopers, who just stared at her with confusion, "Yes. Isn't flying great?"

"There's been a change of plans. We need a pickup…" Kanan added.

"In the fuel depot, I know," Sabine finished for him, "The Empire does too."

"Let's hope you get to us first," Kanan said as he and Hera reached a ladder in the depot with Hera climbing the ladder, "We'll be on top of the central fuel pod." He then began climbing up the ladder as well.

"Specter-6, you're gonna want to hang on," Sabine said, contacting her sister with her comlink as she removed her TIE pilot helmet and placed it to the side.

"Sorry, guys, this is where you get off," Ezra told the stormtroopers as she placed both of her hands on the rail above her as Sabine tilted the Imperial patrol transport to its side, causing the stormtroopers to be blown out of the Imperial patrol transport and then fired its turbolasers at an Imperial patrol transport that witnessed what Sabine just did and the Imperial patrol transport that Sabine fired turbolasers at was destroyed as the turbolasers hit its cockpit. Another Imperial patrol transport noticed this and began to fire turbolasers at her Imperial troop transport, causing her to swing the Imperial troop transport around as Ezra removed the TIE pilot helmet she was wearing from her head as the Imperial patrol transport swung around with her igniting her lightsaber as she grabbed it and deflected the turbolasers back at the other Imperial patrol transport, destroying it and killing the pilot on board.

"Kanan…" Hera called out to her boyfriend as she followed him up to the top of the fuel pod they were on, causing him to turn to her, "I know what to say now. I love you."

"Must be the truth serum talking," he stated.

"No," she said as she walked up to him, "It's me. All me." She placed her hand on his cheek before pulling him towards her and they began to kiss each other passionately for a few seconds when the Imperial patrol transport that Sabine was piloting arrived at the pod with Sabine saluting them as she rotated the ship around to its side.

"Hey, enough of that," Ezra told them, "Time to go!" Kanan and Hera then began to walk towards the ship.

"Target that fuel pod! Now!" Pryce ordered the AT-AT pilots as she removed her eyes from the AT-AT's binoculars as two AT-ATs began to approach the depot.

"But, sir, the fuel…" one of the AT-AT pilots said, protesting that order.

"I gave you a direct order," she told him and with that both AT-ATs fired turbolasers at the central fuel pod.

Kanan turned around as he sensed the turbolasers coming towards them as it collided with the side of the pod, causing a wave of fire to ignite from from the pod as Kanan ran from the ship towards the middle of the pod and extended his arms out as the wave of fire came up from the side of the pod as he tried to hold back the wave of fire with the Force.

"Kanan!" Hera cried out to her boyfriend as she rushed out to him, only for him to push her back towards the ship as he rotated partially around toward her before turning back towards her as he used the Force to flung her into Ezra's arms as his eyes changed back to turquoise, fulfilling the promise he gave to her, before he, Ahsoka and Ezra went to Malachor, three years ago before Maul blinded him and stared at his girlfriend, padawan and the ship that his padawan's sister was piloting for a few seconds before turning all the way around and Force pushed the ship away as they all looked distraught as Sabine flew the ship away as Kanan sacrificed himself as the entire fuel depot imploded.

Please favorite and review. Would you like me to continue adding the Imperial scenes or not? Also I don't like that they killed Kanan in this episode and still makes me sad.
