Welcome back to Prophecy of Masks. Last time, things didn't go so well for our heroes. Despite taking out N-Daguva-Zeba and Apollo Geist with the aid of Kuuga and Decade, Oma Zi-O still returned and freed Malefor from his imprisonment before the two villains laid waste to their adversaries before leaving them for dead. Quite the bleak note to start our three part Finale on. So, how will things start to turn hopefully turn around? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes exactly where we left it, on utter devastation. Spyro, Cynder, Kuuga, and Decade, still lying defeated on the ground where Oma Zi-O and Malefor left them for dead. But just as everything appears bleakest, Decade stirs before slowly yet steadily getting to his feet, and it appears Kuuga isn't far behind him.)

Decade: (Seeing Kuuga is back up again) What... just happened?

Kuuga: (Rising to a kneeling position) I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure we just got our butts handed to us. I'm just going to take a guess and say that giant purple dragon was the mastermind behind all of this.

Decade: That has to have been this Malefor person Spyro and Cynder were talking about.

(Only at this point do the two Riders even think to look back towards their dragon companions, and only now do they see how bad the situation truly is, as neither of them have gotten back up since the attack, sending the two Riders into a panic. Assuming the worst, both hesitantly check for a pulse, and after a few seconds, return with a look of pseudo-relief.)

Kuuga: (Seeing the relief on Decade's face) They're alive. Good. Now we've just got to get out of here. Can you summon one of those fluid walls and get us out of here?

Decade: (Attempts to summon an Aurora Curtain, and fails) Looks like that blast took more out of me than I expected.

Kuuga: Well we can't just sit around here waiting for something to come and kill us! (Picks up Spyro and throws him over his shoulders) Let's get moving.

(Seeing no other option, Decade picks up Cynder, throwing her over his shoulders and the two start walking off into the distance of this potentially hostile world. But as they do, we transition back to the Temple, where Woz and the others are still waiting for Spyro and Cynder to return.)

Ignitus: They certainly seem to be taking a while.

Woz: I have no doubt Lord Spyro and Lady Cynder have this situation handled. Tsukasa just might not have found them to return everyone yet.

Diend: For everyone's sake, let's hope you're right.

(And of course, just as Woz gets out his hopeful theory, the skies begin to darken, and lightning begins to strike as the winds begin to howl. Soon the source of this darkness materializes in a flash of lightning as Oma Zi-O and Malefor arrive on scene, catching everyone by surprise)

Malefor: (Upon finally seeing his native realm again) Ah, home at last.

(As the presence of these twin dark forces sets in on this realm, the Kamen Riders previously gathered are all caught off guard, but most especially Woz, who has straight up dropped his book in surprise)

Woz: Impossible...

Ignitus: Malefor... revived...?!

Malefor: (As he flares his wings to establish dominance, then in a thunderous voice) HEAR ME, DRAGON REALMS! THE DARK MASTER HAS RETURNED! And now, to finish what I started years ago.

(With that, Malefor digs his claws into the ground, causing red energy to rush out through the very earth, spawning from it an army of Grublins bigger than anything ever previously encountered, along with giant spires resembling defeated golems of the deep surrounding both Malefor and Oma Zi-O.)

Ignitus: (Caught in his shock) Impossible... he's begun the Great Cleansing again!

Geiz: Do we even want to know what that is?!

Ignitus: To put it simply, the end of the world. But he would need to summon the Destroyer to pull it off normally!

Woz: With Oma Zi-O aiding him, I have a bad feeling that much is no longer true, Ignitus.

Ignitus: (Realizing the hopelessness of the situation) Then it seems we truly are doomed...

Woz: (Pulling out his BeyonDriver) Not if I have anything to say about it.

Geiz: (Placing his Ziku Driver on his waist) Same goes for me.

Tsukuyomi: (Adjusting her Ridewatch) Count me in.

(At this point, it becomes increasingly clear that all the Kamen Riders gathered are in agreement, they're not going to just give up and die here either. They never planned on it. Each stands ready to fight the odds and emerge victorious. Headstrong as ever)

Woz: Then we stand and fight. We've come too far to give up and die now. Even if the worst has happened to Lord Spyro and Lady Cynder, we must keep up the fight. As a memorial to them if nothing else. To show these evils we will not fall so easily! This is the fight of our lives. So let's give it our all!

(With his speech given, the Kamen Riders are rallied to his side, all ready to transform and fight at the drop of a hat)

Woz: Alright then. Everyone, together!

All (Except Ignitus): HENSHIN!

(With that, each Kamen Rider assumes their armored states before charging into battle against the Grublin hordes. But just as the charge begins, we transition back to Kuuga and Decade, still carrying the unconscious Spyro and Cynder on their backs)

Kuuga: Any luck?

(Still balancing Cynder on his back, Decade tries to summon an Aurora Curtain, and this time actually manages to create one, but he makes no effort to go through it, and in fact stops Kuuga when he tries to)

Kuuga: What the heck are you doing?!

Decade: If Malefor's as powerful as he looks, we're going to need a lot more help to take him and Oma Zi-O down. Luckily, I know just the team to call on.

(And just as he finishes his speech, seven figures emerge from the Aurora Curtain, seven figures who should be recognizable by any Kamen Rider fan, the Seven Legendary Riders)

Kuuga: Smart choice, Tsukasa.

(And as the Seven Legendary Riders reveal themselves to the crowd, our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good spot to wrap up. This chapter may end up being shorter than the usual length, but truth be told it's because we're at the finale and I'm running out of ideas. Breaking everything up into trilogies was ultimately not a smart move, but the Wizard Arc at the beginning had so much stuff I wanted to do that it became a necessity. Either way, I have to live with my decision. But that aside, it looks like next time we're in for something huge, if it requires the Seven Legendary Riders themselves to show up! So what exactly is going on? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
