A/N: I simply cannot believe that we're just hallway through Halo 3 and I can say that when I finish this section, I am probably going to write Night Raid watch Halo Legend as a side story fanfiction. And since there's only five missions left, I decided to do five facts and this chapter, I think I'll even consider to write Halo: Colosseum Conflict. Fact one is down below

Disclaimer: I do not own Akame Ga Kiru and Halo. They belong to their rightful and respectful owners.

Mine, Wave and Esdeath picks up the controllers to play with Tatsumi, suspenseful music is playing in the background, making everyone even the Ice Queen have Goosebumps.

(Gameplay)

It Followed Me Home

Fade in outside the city. The four are standing under the remains of the Covenant AA gun. The sky is choking with thick smog from the crashed cruiser. Faint screeching and growling noises can be heard in the distance.

"Fuck." Leone could only say.

"Thankful that the two of you were able to contain it." Najenda looked at Tatsumi and Wave.

"Yeah, but I have a feeling that it wouldn't last soon." Wave stated as he has a weird feeling that one Flood had managed to escape.

In a far away land in the Empire where there's no human presence, a single Flood Combat Form is roaming around and soon goes back to a portal, who was ordered to scout their source for their base of operations.

"Yeah, but we're going to be ready for an outbreak." Tatsumi said confidently.

Commander Miranda KeyesCOM: "The Flood - it's spreading, all over the city."

Lord HoodCOM: "How do we contain it?"

Commander KeyesCOM: "Find the crashed Flood ship; overload its engine core. We either destroy this city, or risk losing the entire planet."

"There has to be another way." Dorothea exclaimed.

"Unfortunately, there isn't." Delta countered as she knows the alternative way to hold the Flood spread.

Lord HoodCOM: "Do it."

Commander KeyesCOM: "Chief, make your way to the crash site."

The four look to the right and two Marines is seen on a cliff edge, fighting off several Flood combat forms. They are overrun and typically mutate into more combat forms.

Everyone even Esdeath flinched when they saw the transformation. This was beginning to be too scary for them to watch.

"Oh my…." Chelsea uttered as she inched to Tatsumi for comfort.

The four re-enter the city,

Gunnery Sergeant ReynoldsCOM: "All squads, report!"

At this time, a group of Flood combat forms jump from the building on the right.

"This is scary." Lubbock said uncomfortably.

"I agree with you." Najenda said on edge as she saw the Flood jumping from the building.

MarineCOM: "Multiple contacts, unknown hostiles."

Flood screeches are heard.

Like what happened to Halo 2, Tatsumi's dragon eye shined red for some reason.

"Woah, are you alright?" Mine asked in concern that is red eye is playing up.

"Yeah, just every time I hear that screech…" Tatsumi answered as he rubbed his right eye.

MarineCOM: "There! Over there! We're surrounded, Sergeant!"

The Chief finds a Marine squad on a loading ramp.

MarineCOM: "Aaaaah!"

ReynoldsCOM: "Fall back, fall back!"

Female Marine: "Sergeant, come on!"

Pod infectors and combat forms (all former humans and Jiralhanae) descend from above and swarm on the Marines at the ramp, killing, then infecting them.

"JESUS!" Mine shouted when she saw the transformation.

"Disgusting." Shuzuka commented when she saw the transformation.

Esdeath was visibly shaking lightly when she saw the transformation. She could only imagine on how it will be for her and Tatsumi.

After killing all of the Marines, their attention turns towards the four players.

Random Combat Form: "Ahh... The Armored Casket."

"They talk?!" Mine shouted as she shot one in the chest, which then drops to the ground.

"Yeah, remember Choukri?" Tatsumi asked sarcastically.

Random Combat Form: Fresh Meat!

Random Combat Form: "Eat!"

"Kill them! Kill them!" Cosmina shouted frantically as the Flood were running up towards them.

"Calm down!" Dorothea said as she patted her friend's back for comfort.

Reynolds: "Ahhh!"

The Sergeant becomes mutated by a Pod infector.

Reynolds: "No! No! No!"

A Marine proceeds to attack the reanimated Sergeant.

Female Marine: "What are you doing?! That's the sergeant!"

"That was the sergeant! It ain't no more...!" Lubbock shouted fearfully as he and the others saw the transformation.

They fight off the wave of Flood. Eventually, Esdeath shoots one and all of the combat forms turns into pieces

"Holy…." Leone could only gulp frantically.

"That's gruesome." Mez commented when she saw all of the Flood Form turn into pieces.

"This is way worse than anything that the Empire did." Tatsumi admitted, earning him a nod of yeas by the others.

"This is more like a Nightmare." Mine finished.

Thel 'Vadam: "Quickly! Let us find their ship. Make short work of this abomination!"

"ell, we need to be quick then!" Najenda stated as she wanted to end this nightmare.

With no survivors left, the four goes inside of a building, where a lone Marine is running away from a horde of Pod Infectors.

"Ohh Go-" Seyru was about to say when they about to see the transformation close up.

Marine: "Get it off! Get it off!"

They tried to save the Marine, but was unable to when a single Pod infector dives into his chest, gruesomely transforming him into a Flood combat form.

Kurome was beginning to shake when she saw the transformation close up, but was soon comforted by Bols.

"Easy there." He tried to assured his teammate.

Marines led by Gunnery Sergeant Stacker are pinned down behind sandbags by a massive horde of Flood. The four engage and destroy the Flood forms in this section of the warehouse, which they then saved in time as all of the Combat Forms turn into bits and pieces.

"This will be in our minds for a long time." Lubbock said.

Female Marine: "It gets inside you, chews you up."

Marine: "We gotta get outta here."

The four and the surviving Marines head into the next section of the warehouse. Upstairs, two Marines, one wielding a flamethrower, try to combat the Flood as well, but they soon fall to the parasite's overwhelming numbers.

"See, why are they using it now?! They should've brought that back in the last Halo Ring!" Tatsumi said infuriated that a weapon like that wasn't brought in.

"Calm down." Mine said as she punches a dead Brute Combat Form and turns into pieces.

Thel 'Vadam: "Wretched parasite! Rise up and I will kill you! Again and again!"

"Yeah, we'll do the same if they ever come back here." Wave acknowledged with the others agreeing with him.

Reaching the other end of the warehouse, the surviving Marines hold position after clearing the area. The four head upstairs onto an upper balcony, Wave picks up the abandoned Flamethrower for use against the Flood.

"This will come in handy." He said as he follows the rest.

Proceeding forward, the four find a hole in the floor and drop down it, arriving in the office areas.

Cortana (Cortana Moment): "Chief! (connection drops) I can't tell you everything...it's not safe. The Gravemind...it knows I'm in the sys-(connection drops)

"Wait what?!" Some of them realised.

"This can't be right…" Mine spoke.

"Could she be…." Kurome could only say.

The four force their way through another wave of Flood, and find a Marine huddling in a corner of the large room previously used as an Aid Station, surrounded by three dead Marines. The Marine is holding a pistol, and will occasionally aim it at his own head, before lowering it and burying his face in his hands.

Kurome had her eyes wide open when she saw this. "Did the marine…."

Akame had the same reaction as her sister. She couldn't even respond to this.

Traumatized Marine: "I...I didn't have a choice...! The L.T...the Sergeant...they were all infected! I could see it crawling...sliding around beneath their skin! (sobs) A-and then they got up...they s-started to talk!

"D-D-Delta, who are the Flood are able to talk?" Dorothea asked the monitor.

Queue Fives decided to answer that question. "Delta has already informed you about being in the Coordinative stage right? Well, imagine a planet size Flood infestation with a Gravemind, that is called the Interstellar stage."

"That doesn't make sense." Leone spoke up.

"That is because the Gravemind can telepathically communicate." Delta spoke up.

Tatsumi and Wave had their eyes wide open when Delta said that. If the Flood only sent one Pelican, then that would mean…

"Oh, God! Their voices! Oh, God! No, make them stop! I did them a favor...y-yeah that's it; I helped them! (sobs) Maybe...maybe I need to help myself... (breaks out into sobs)"

"Is he…." Sheele said as she saw the marine holding the pistol in his head.

With no time to spare, Tatsumi, Esdeath, Wave and Mine continue on ahead to the lake bed.

The four enter the lake bed of Voi where the Scarab was previously fought and destroyed.

Shipmaster Rtas 'VadumCOM: "Hail, humans, and take heed."

"Finally!" Lubbock spoke.

"Why is half jaw here?" Cosmina asked.

"Probably going to halt the spread." Akame simply stated.

Shadow of Intent

(Cutscene)

Rtas 'VadumCOM: "This is the carrier Shadow of Intent."

The Chief and 'Vadam pause to see three Sangheili-controlled CCS-class battlecruisers fly in formation as a CAS-class assault carrier slices overhead from slipspace.

Rtas 'VadumCOM: "Clear this sector, while we deal with the Flood."

"Don't worry we will." Tatsumi nodded.

A Sangheili Major and four Special Operations Sangheili leap out of landed Orbital Insertion Pods ahead of the Chief and 'Vadam, and join the battle against the Flood.

{Gameplay}

Wasting no time, the four make their way to the Sangheili lance, quickly killing any Flood before they can kill them.

Thel 'Vadam: "My brothers, I fear you bring bad news."

Sangheili Major: "High Charity has fallen, become a dreaded hive!"

"That's not good." Wave stated.

"If only if Miranda didn't orbited her ship where the Flood can reach." Najenda said.

Thel 'Vadam: "And the fleet? Has quarantine been broken?"

Sangheili Major: "A single ship broke through our line, and we gave chase."

Thel 'Vadam: "But we had a fleet of hundreds!"

"Yeah, and how can a single ship pass through a feet of hundreds?" Suzuka spoke.

Sangheili Major: "Alas brother, the Flood... It has evolved!"

Everyone except Tatsumi, Delta and Queue Fives went completely silent when that Elite Major said that.

Mine immediately pause the game. "The Flood CAN EVOLVE?!"

"That's bad!" Dorothea said as there was another creature that could evolve.

"Yeah they can." Everyone looked at Tatsumi, who wasn't fazed by it.

"Wait, how do you know about this?!" Najenda asked the Incursio user since she and everyone else were shocked at his statement.

Delta then sighed as she knew that he didn't inform them. "You didn't inform them, didn't you?"

Tatsumi just scratch the back of his head. "I didn't."

Delta then sighed. "Alright, you're going to hear this once Reclaimers, so you better make a not of this. The Flood can adapt and evolve due to their consumed victims. Makes sense now?" Everyone then nods and returns back to the game.

(Gameplay resumes as Mine unpauses it)

The four and the Sangheili fight their way through a massive wave of Flood, including a pair of carrier forms and enter a warehouse. They clear the building of Flood.

Commander KeyesCOM: "Chief, the Elites are looking for something. We didn't believe them when they told us."

Sergeant JohnsonCOM: "It's Cortana, Chief! She's on that ship! Find her - get her out!"

"Wait, Cortana's on that ship?!" Dorothea jumped.

"Then that would mean…" Kurome continued.

"She finally came back." Sheele finished.

"I wouldn't say so." Akame countered as the Gravemind is an intelligent being.

The group exits the warehouse. Outside, two Sangheili Phantoms arrive and drop off more Sangheili reinforcements to combat the Flood.

Special Operations Sangheili: "Hurry, Demon! We seek the same prize. But our Shipmaster will sacrifice all to stop the Flood."

"Don't tell me…" Leone muttered.

"It's definitely glassing." Tatsumi finished her sentence.

The Master Chief, 'Vadam, and the remaining Sangheili head towards the crash site. Along the way, they encounter Flood pure forms for the first time.

"What the fuck is that?!" Mine shouted as she saw it transform into a bulkier form.

"Remember what I said about Pure Forms Reclaimer? Well, that is an example of a Pure form." Delta answered. "It has three modes; Stalker, Ranged and even Tank. From what you saw, it was a Stalker Form before it transformed into a Tank form."

Night Raid could only nervously gulp at this statement and they wondered are there more variants of Pure Forms.

Special Operations Sangheili: "What is this?! Some abomination from the ancient texts?!"

The group fights past dozens of pure forms, combat forms (including former Sangheili), and pod infectors before finally reaching the massive, burning hulk of the crashed Flood battlecruiser. Up an incline, an ominous hole resides in the ship's hull, leading to the interior.

"Jesus, are they shooting bone pieces at us?" Mine asked as she was recovering from a shot done by a Ranged Form.

"Affirmative, Reclaimer. They are made out of biomass as you can tell." Delta answered.

With no more Flood presence, the Elites stay put while the others drop in alone.

Infinite Devil Machine

The four enter a fleshy area, with weird bubbles in the walls.

"Ugh, I don't feel so good." Leone said as she covers her mouth. Even if she didn't drink a lot of alcohol, this still made her feel sick.

"So, this is a Flood hive?" Stylish said trying to ignore the area.

"Affirmative, and they can produce spores and Infector Pods." Delta answered.

All of a sudden, a Cortana Moment that was green was suddenly speaking to them.

Gravemind (Gravemind Moment): "Do not be afraid. I am peace... I am salvation."

When that was done, everyone started to freak out.

"HE CAN TALK TO US TELEPATHICALLY?!" Leone shouted.

"God….." Lubbock muttered.

"The Gravemind can do that?" Tatsumi wondered and remembered hearing the Gravemind's voice at Choukri. "Then that would mean… no, he's waiting for the right moment to strike."

The four reaches a large room after passing several dead Sangheili Ultras.

Gravemind (Gravemind Moment): "I am a timeless chorus. Join your voice with mine, and sing victory... everlasting!"

"Ever lasting torment." Mine said dryly as the Flood wants to consume all.

"Yeah, good thing the Flood is locked up." Mez sighed.

(Cutscene)

Inside the central chamber of the Flood-infested crashed cruiser, the Chief finds Cortana in a small Covenant hand held memory unit.

Cortana (recorded): "Chief!"

Master Chief Petty Officer John-117: "Cortana?"

Cortana (recorded): "High Charity, the Prophets' holy city, is on its way-"

Cortana's projection above the holographic unit flickers and then disappears.

"Where do you think it is?" Sheele asked.

"Earth." Everyone except Queue Fives and Delta answered.

John-117: "Cortana!"

Suddenly, the humming of a Phantom's gravity drives are heard, and a Phantom appears over the open chamber. Uncertain of its intentions, the Chief turns and aims his assault rifle at it. 343 Guilty Spark floats down from the Phantom.

"Great, it's the sneaky little backstabber." Leone stated sarcastically.

"But he did switch sides at the end of Halo 2." Run pointed out.

"But you may never know Reclaimer. He always takes his Protocols too seriously." Delta countered as she knows the future missions.

343 Guilty Spark: (surprised) "Reclaimer!"

A Flood combat form appears to the right behind the Chief, and 343 Guilty Spark casually turns and uses a powerful energy beam to destroy it in a single glancing hit. Spark turns back to the Covenant device and begins to interface it with a beam projected from his central eye.

343 Guilty Spark: "I must act quickly before your construct suffers any further trauma!"

The Chief grabs 343 Guilty Spark and pulls him away from Cortana's storage unit, disabling the interface beam.

John-117: "Wait. Leave her alone."

"I think it's not the real Cortana." Kurome said as she saw how Cortana glitches.

343 Guilty Spark: "If we do not take this device to a safe location, somewhere I can make repairs..."

343 Guilty Spark continues trying to project his energy beam into Cortana's storage unit. John again pulls him away, disrupting the beam. He then lets go of Spark and confronts him.

John-117: (accusingly) "On Halo, you tried to kill Cortana. You tried to kill me."

343 Guilty Spark: (defensively) "Protocol dictated my response! She had the Activation Index and you were going to destroy my installation. You did destroy my installation. Now, I only have one function: to help you, Reclaimer. As I always should have done."

"Yeah right, you're going to backstab us again." Leone bluntly said as she didn't like Sparks' response.

The Master Chief stares wordlessly at 343 Guilty Spark, then holds up Cortana's storage device. 343 Guilty Spark takes Cortana's device away, shooting his beam into it while the Phantom projects a gravity lift. 343 Guilty Spark enters it first and the Master Chief reluctantly follows.

The view cuts to an aerial one over the whole town of Voi at a high altitude. Although clouds obscure the surface, part of the Indulgence of Conviction is still visible. The Phantom flies away from the ship while two battlecruisers of the Fleet of Retribution glass Voi with their energy projectors.

"Oh my Gosh…." Sheele could only say.

"They're Glassing Earth." Chelsea muttered.

"It's the only way Reclaimers." Delta spoke. "If the Flood spread, then that would mean the end of all of us."

"I guess the Elites have their reason." Najenda agreed as she puffs out smoke to get rid of the Flood transformation in her head.

"But why Glass?" Wave asked.

"Glassing has the capability in destroying environments, and from what we've seen, glassing is the only way to halt the spread." Bulat explained.

The view then cuts to an aerial one above the Forerunner Portal. Its 'fins' are open and blue energy streams from their tips to the open slipspace portal drifting ominously above the construct. Fighting on Earth has ceased and the Battle for Earth has ended with the departure of the Prophet of Truth's fleet through the Portal hours earlier. Four vessels of the Sangheili fleet are gathered above the Portal and 343 Guilty Spark's Phantom arches to the largest of them: the assault carrier Shadow of Intent.

Inside the bridge of the Shadow of Intent, Sangheili and humans are gathered around a long holographic table, with Shipmaster Rtas 'Vadum floating on a gravity throne at one end with his Sangheili attendants, Master Chief and Arbiter Thel 'Vadam in the middle, and Fleet Admiral Hood and Commander Miranda Keyes at the far side of the table. All are silent except 343 Guilty Spark, who is bobbing at the center of the table and interfacing with Cortana's memory unit with his projector beam.

Rtas 'Vadum: "Will it live, Oracle? Can it be saved?"

343 Guilty Spark: "Uncertain. This storage device has suffered considerable trauma. Its matrices are... highly unstable."

343 Guilty Spark glances at 'Vadum and Lord Hood

Lord Hood: "Perhaps one of our technicians-"

Rtas 'Vadum: (sternly) "That will not be necessary."

"I still have a feeling that there's still tension." Tatsumi said.

"They need to set their difference aside." Najenda commented.

As Spark finishes his work, the storage device lights up, and a holographic projection of Cortana springs up.

Cortana (Recording): "Chief!"

343 Guilty Spark: "Success!"

Cortana (Recording): "High Charity, the Prophets' holy city, is on its way to Earth. With an army of Flood. I can't tell you everything. It's not safe. The Gravemind... it knows I'm in the system."

Cortana's image flickers and stalls. The Chief turns to Rtas 'Vadum.

John-117: (disappointed) "It's just a message."

"Hey! At least hear all of it." Mine exclaimed.

Rtas 'Vadum: "Let it play."

"Thank you!" Mine exclaimed again.

343 Guilty Spark jolts the device with another beam.

Cortana (Recording): "But it doesn't know about the Portal, where it leads. On the other side, there's a solution. A way to stop the Flood, without firing the remaining Halo rings-"

"Finally a solu-" Dorothea was about to say when Cortana's skin lights up. She clutches her head, gasps in sudden pain and collapses onto the "floor".

"Wait, Ais fan feel pain?!" Leone questioned as she and everyone saw what happened to Cortana.

"From what I could tell, they share the same feelings as us humans." Stylish explained.

"The Reclaimer is right, Cortana is a smart AI, which is made from a human brain." Delta answered as she knows Cortana's origin and creation.

"So, whose brain was used to create Cortana?" Dorothea asked.

Delta was a bit hesitant at first, but she decides to elaborate. "I'll answer that soon." They then turn back to the screen to continue watching the cutscene.

Cortana (Recording): (softly, her voice filled with agony) "Hurry, Chief... the Ark... there isn't much time."

Cortana's recording ends and she is left staring with desperation at the Chief.

343 Guilty Spark: "I'm... sorry."

Rtas 'Vadum: "No matter, Oracle. We've heard enough. Our fight is through the Portal, with the Brutes and the bastard Truth!"

Leone cheered with the Elites. "Yeah, go chase him and beat him to death!"

Mine just facepalmed. "This already happened Leone."

Sangheili around the room raise their forearms and roar in agreement.

Lord Hood: (wearily) "Fine. We'll remain here. Hold out as long as we can."

Rtas 'Vadum: "Did you not hear? Your world is doomed." (descends from his seat) "A Flood army, a Gravemind, has you in its sights! You barely survived a small contamination!"

Lord Hood: (angrily) "And you, Shipmaster, just glassed half a continent! Maybe the Flood isn't all I should be worried about..."

Rtas 'Vadum and Everyone: (just as angrily) "One single Flood spore can destroy a species."

"Wait, why did we even say it?" Tatsumi asked to anyone.

"That's because Tatsumi darling that we're are all aware of the Flood's deadly spread." Esdeath answered as she was scooting up to him, earning glares from some girls.

Rtas 'Vadum: (Just as angrily) "Were it not for the Arbiter's counsel, I would have glassed your entire planet!"

Almost everyone was angry that Rtas said that.

"Bastard." Lubbock said with gritted teeth.

"That's humanity's homeworld and he was going to glass it!" Mine said as she was quite angry.

"Just calm down Reclaimers, he's not doing it out of spitefulness." Delta tried to assure them.

"Yeah right." Najenda said with venom.

Tatsumi didn't share everyone's reaction. "I know what you mean, luckily they only glassed only the-"

"ONLY!"

Tatsumi then shuts up and then went silent to make the wrathful environment calm.

Lord Hood angrily raises his fist at 'Vadum, but Miranda Keyes interrupts.

Commander Keyes: "Sir, with respect, Cortana has a solution."

Lord Hood: "Cortana? Did you see her condition? How damaged she is?"

While Hood and Keyes argue, the Master Chief bends down and observes Cortana's pained, frozen figure, still collapsed on the holographic table.

Lord Hood: "She could be corrupted for all we know. Her "solution" could be a Flood trap!"

"I wouldn't say so." Akame countered as she drank a glass of water.

Commander Keyes: "We should go through the Portal, find out for sure."

Lord Hood: "What we should do Commander, is understand - clearly - that this is humanity's final stand - here - at Earth. We go, we risk everything; every last man, woman and child. If we stand our ground, we might just have a chance."

Thel 'Vadam: (flatly) "No. If your construct is wrong, then the Flood has already won."

"Exactly.". Wave exclaimed

"Good thing they're having a head start." Tatsumi said.

John-117: "I'll find Cortana's solution. And I'll bring it back."

Lord Hood: "Earth... is all we have left. You trust Cortana that much?"

John-117: "Sir. Yes, sir."

"Yeah, and he's not going to break his promise to her!" Tatsumi said while Akame smiled at Chief's statement.

Lord Hood: "This is either the best decision you've ever made or the worst. Hell of it is, Chief? I doubt I'll live long enough to find out which."

"Oh, you will." Leone said.

(Insert- Halo 3 OST: Brothers in Arms)

Lord Hood turns, looks wordlessly at Miranda Keyes, and then exits the bridge.

Inside the Shadow of Intent's hangar bay, both the Sangheili and the UNSC are getting ready for battle. While a pair of Sangheili Phantoms drift into the hangar on the far side, two Sangheili Banshees glide past in the opposite direction. On the ground, two Warthogs race to the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn's loading bay, drawing near a group of Marines clustered around some UNSC crates.

"So this is the bay of the Covenant Carrier?" Tatsumi looked at the bay.

"It's huge." Lubbock commented.

"That could rival any ships within the Imperial Navy." Wave stated as he seems bays that are way smaller comparing to the Covenant Carrier.

At uneasy rest opposing the Marines are a Sangheili Major sitting on a Ghost, along with a few Special Operations Sangheili. The Major's particle beam rifle is resting next to the Ghost. Sergeant Johnson, with his arm full of "stolen" Covenant carbines brushes past the wordless Sangheili, stopping only to scoop up the Major's rifle. The Sangheili, resentful at this non-permitted collection, rise challengingly around Johnson. Johnson ignores them and continues walking.

Nearby, a pair of ODSTs are joking with each other when the Arbiter passes by with an acquired rocket launcher over his shoulder and a flamethrower in his left hand. The ODSTs and a pair of nearby Marines watch the Arbiter in awe, when 343 Guilty Spark drifts through the Marines in tow behind 'Vadam, pausing momentarily to glance at one Marine, leaving him speechless. Johnson rejoins the Marines, and begins to hand out carbines.

"Finally, after a long and petty fight…" Tatsumi started.

"The Elites are finally going to join the humans." Najenda finished with a smile that she saw the Elites as redeemable.

"Only most of the Fleet." Delta corrected as she knows that most Elites are still blinded by a false religion.

The scene cuts to the fore of the hangar, where a Pelican dropship lays before the hangar's energy field. The Forward Unto Dawn is stationed nearby. The Chief and Miranda Keyes stand at attention before Lord Hood, who looks at them grimly from the rear of the Pelican as the troop bay door shuts and the Pelican takes off. Keyes glances at the Chief wordlessly, and the two leave, going off to their own business.

Hood's Pelican arcs away from the gathered Sangheili fleet as the Shadow of Intent powers its engines and thrusts into the Portal, followed by the rest of the fleet.

Fades to black.

Level ends.

As the level ends, everyone apart from Mine and Esdeath put the controllers down.

"That has to be one of the best missions ever!" Seyru exclaimed.

"The mission was scary, but we're finally going to kill Truth." Leone said as she was cracking her fist ready to kill the bastard of a Prophet.

Without waiting, Chelsea and Kurome soon picks up the controllers to play with Mine and Essdeath in the next mission.

A/N: Fact No.1: I was going to do the opening like another fanfiction called "RWBY & JNPR watch RVB", where one character from Night Raid finds the Halo collection box, but then I decided to do my own version of an opening with a monitor instead, which I got an inspiration from a single guest reviewer.

Edit: Who simply cannot wait for "You must be silenced!" Scene.
