He could feel her on the other side of the apartment. Said apartment was a condo-loft. That he could sense her emotions should have been concerning, if not for the utter happiness basking in those feelings.

In the time that she had resided with him, their relationship had grown. Not into anything vastly romantic but he thought perhaps they might now be friends. At least, according to her. She liked teasing him about his relative lack of friends and countless times he had pointed out that he had no need of such things. As was typical of her, she merely smiled that secret smile and continued on as if he hadn't spoken.

Curiosity too much to deny, as it always was where she was concerned, as it always had been where Rin was concerned, he left his study and slowly made his way through the apartment. In Rin's absence, he had noted how quiet and huge the place had seemed. Now, with her here, that blue-eyed woman that still confounded him at times, he didn't notice. It was so much warmer with her here, not that he would ever admit such an asinine thing to her.

Knocking on her door, he rolled his eyes at the absent way she called for entrance and wondered if he would have to give her another lecture about being more aware. As he stepped inside and his eyes landed on her though, most thought left his mind. He had not seen her bare skin since the night she had conceived and it was just as he remembered and his eyes narrowed as he stepped further into the room. "What are you doing?"

She grinned at him and then turned sideways, giving him her profile. "I'm showing!" she cheered, unable to contain herself any longer. Letting her shirt fall, she jumped up and down, pumping her fist into the air. "I'm showing, I'm showing!" Laughing, feeling truly, truly happy and alive, she launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and planting smacking kiss on his face.
