"Kyle, do you want me to give you a lift home, is that why you're hanging around?" Brax asks as he leans against the bar.

"No, Heath text me saying he was going to murder me if I went home." Kyle shrugs. "Has he said anything to you why that was?"

"No, I haven't heard from him today." Brax says. "Where's Casey and Bruno?" He asks, not seeing his dog with him

"Both in the office with Lillie and Denny. We're meeting Ricky soon, just waiting on a text saying she's on her way." Kyle says. "She wants to do another photoshoot with Emilia and Lillie." He smirks.

"Sometimes I feel like taking that camera." Brax laughs. "Guess it's good that she enjoys it. Gives her some time away from reality."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kyle frowns. "Having marriage problems already?"

"No, you idiot." Brax lightly glares.

"No need to be touchy about it. Happens to everyone." Kyle says.

"Not us, we're going great." Brax says.

"Then what is it?" Kyle asks, getting a stare back. "No point keeping it a secret. You forced me to see a counsellor for my stuff, not that I'm complaining cause it really helped."

"There's just been some pressure to have another kid." Brax says. "But that's all you need to know."

"But you both said you were going to wait a while until you tried for another one?" Kyle asks.

"We did. It's not either of us."

"Then who?"

"Kyle, stop asking a million questions." Brax lightly moans.

"All I'll say is it has nothing to do with anyone else when you have kids. If you're happy with Emilia, then who cares what anyone else thinks?" Kyle says before walking into the office to see if Casey and Denny were still okay with Lillie and Bruno.

"Hey, there's daddy." Denny says in her baby voice, standing up to hand her over to Kyle.

"How's she been?" Kyle asks, smiling at his daughter's smile.

"She was changed about half an hour ago but other than she's been great." Casey says. "Has Ricky called yet?"

"Not yet."

"Well I think Denny's figured out someone else would be worthy of joining your daughter in the photoshoot." Casey smirks.

"Who?" Kyle asks.

"Bruno." Denny grins, showing him some photos. "Must be his calm nature and the fact that he listens to all commands."

"I'd hope he would after all the hours I put in training him to do tricks." Kyle says. "How about we go down to the beach and wait for Ricky. I know Bruno could do with some fresh air after being in here with you two." He smirks, walking back out the door with Bruno following him.

"He's been fine in there. I'm a great dog sitter." Casey says as he quickly follows Kyle with the travel bag while Denny gets back to work.

"You mean babysitter." Kyle says as he stops at the bar where Brax was looking through the books.

"Yeah, and that." Casey laughs.

"Phoebe, hey." They hear Denny say, turning to see the feisty ex of Kyle's standing awkwardly at the door before walking over to them.

"Hey." She lightly smiles.

"Case, can you take Lillie and Bruno down?" Kyle asks.

"Sure." Casey nods, taking his niece from Kyle.

"I'll meet you down there." Kyle says, watching him walk away.

"Can I not even see her?" Phoebe asks.

"You just did. I saw you staring at her." Kyle says.

"I meant properly. She's my daughter." Phoebe says, earning a scoff from both brothers.

"You've never been her mum. You decided that the second you dumped her on our doorstep not wanting it linking back to you. That's why you left a note telling me to not put you down on the birth certificate." Kyle glares.

"I'm sorry. I never wanted to be a mother." Phoebe says, briefly glancing down. "I've changed my mind, I want you and our daughter back in my life."

"It's not going to happen. If you were being serious, you would have proved it months ago." Kyle says.

"I am being serious, I care about her."

"You don't know her!" Kyle moans. "And if you cared about her so much, where were you went she was taken?"

"I tried calling you, you never answered any of them." Phoebe says.

"And that stopped you from coming here to prove you cared?" Kyle asks. "I was in a bad place and ignored a lot of calls I got, but it never stopped anyone else checking in."

"I…" Phoebe trails off. "I didn't think you'd want me around. But I mean it, Kyle. I want to work through things between us, for us to be a real family with our daughter."

"Do you even know her name?" Kyle asks.

"Of course I do."

"Then what is it?"

"It's… It's Lia, no… Lila." Phoebe says.

"Yeah, you really know her name." Kyle rolls his eyes, glancing over at Brax who looks slightly amused by it, and he couldn't help but smile as this seemed like some game to him. "What's the real reason you're here?" He asks her.

"I've already said. I want to get back together with you and for us to bring her up together."

"It's Lillie." Kyle says. "And I don't need your help bringing her up, I've got plenty of people to do that. And what about Ash? Going to have him as your back up for when you don't get your own way again?"

"I don't want Ash, I want you." Phoebe firmly says. "Please, just give me one more chance." She says as his phone goes off.

"I need to go." Kyle says. "Don't bother following me." He says.

"Well I'll let you think about it. Maybe we could meet up later and talk some more?" Phoebe says.

"I might be busy. No point wasting your time." Kyle says, glancing at Brax before leaving to meet Ricky down on the beach, as she had text him to say she was there with Casey.

"He won't change his mind." Brax says, looking down at the books to finish them.

"I deserve to be in my daughters life." Phoebe says, Brax scoffing at it.

"You didn't even know her name and she's 11 months old." Brax says. "You made your choice the day you dumped that kid on our doorstep and did a runner." He says, frowning as his old best mate walks in, spotting Phoebe as he walks over to them.

"Hey." He says, placing an arm around her waist, confusing Brax.

"I thought you two broke up?" He says.

"What?" Ash frowns. "What makes you say that?"

"Phoebe was just telling Kyle how much she wanted to be with him, and to be a family with their kid." Brax says, smirking as Phoebe looks down. "So you never told him you only came here to try and get back with Kyle? Tried two timing him as well I see? Well don't try it with Kyle again, cause I know what a nasty piece of work you are."

"I can't believe you've done this, Phoebe." Ash moans.

"I just want my daughter back." Phoebe says. "I love you, Ash."

"Save it, we're done." Ash hisses, walking out before she could stop him.

"Sorry, did I put my foot in it?" Brax smirks.

"You'll regret this." Phoebe glares. "I will be in my daughters life, I am not scared of you and you won't stop me."

"You don't have a daughter, not a legal one anyway." Brax says, laughing as she storms out, so he goes to find Kyle to let him know what he had just found out, seeing them on the beach as Phoebe watches them.

"Brax, you made it!" Ricky beams.

"Just wanted a word with Kyle." He smiles, moving to the side with him. "Phoebe had never broken up with Ash, she was leading you on."

"Why?" Kyle frowns.

"I'm guessing it was to get access to Lillie. You don't need to worry about her, she doesn't have a leg to stand on." Brax says.

"You better be right. I can't lose Lillie again." Kyle says as they join the others.
