The following morning, Martin, Gonff, Varys, and Quentin Martell were standing on the ramparts of Marshank when they saw a fleet of ships approaching, with Drogon flying above them.

"Drogon's come back," said Martin. "Maybe that means Daenerys is back too."

"Blow me down, those are some fine seagoing vessels!" Gonff exclaimed.

"Those ships are from the Iron Islands," said Varys. "You can tell because they have a squid insignia on their sails, the symbol of House Greyjoy."

"Did you know these people were coming?" Martin asked.

"Let's just say I'm not surprised," Varys said.

"When are you ever surprised?" said Quentin.

"Look, there's Queen Daenerys!" Gonff cried. "She's stepping out of one of the ships. And there's Tyrion too. And is that a badger with them?"

"We'd better go down to meet them," said Martin.

They all went outside. Ironmen and hares were emerging from the ships. Asha and Yara had disembarked and come to stand beside Dany, Tyrion, and Lord Boar.

Martin ran up to Dany. "I'm glad to see you're still alive!"

"And I'm glad you're alive too, Martin," she said to him. "I was worried about you."

"So, you prevailed against the vermin?" said Tyrion.

"We did," said Martin. "Thanks to Quentin here."

Quentin Martell stepped forward and bowed to Daenerys. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Prince Quentin Martell of Dorne. My father, Doran Martell, sent me to assist you. I have a hundred Dornish warriors with me, and my father has hundreds more back in Dorne. We are prepared to help you reclaim the Iron Throne!"

"Thank you, Prince Quentin," said Dany. "I wasn't aware I had any allies waiting for me back in Westeros. This is welcome news."

"Who's the badger?" Gonff asked.

"My name is Boar the Fighter," said Boar. "I rule Salamandastron, the great mountain fortress by the western sea. Daenerys and Drogon recently helped me defend my kingdom from a pirate captain named Ripfang, and in return, I'm going to help her take back her kingdom. I've brought my army of hares, the Long Patrol, with me."

"Hares are perilous creatures," said Martin. "I'd be honored to fight alongside them!"

The Greyjoy sisters introduced themselves as well. "I'm Asha Greyjoy."

"And I'm Yara Greyjoy. We come from the Iron Islands, just west of Westeros."

"Our evil uncle, Euron, has seized control of the islands," said Asha. "So, we decided to team up with Daenerys. We'll help her fight Joffrey, and she can help us fight Euron."

"Sounds like a plan," said Martin.

"Let's go inside," said Dany. "Martin, gather all the animals together in the courtyard. I need to make an announcement to everyone."

Soon, everyone was assembled in the courtyard: animals, Dornishmen, and Ironmen. Dany stood on a platform, flanked by Tyrion and Varys.

"This is the end of one chapter, and the beginning of another!" she declaimed. "I have my three dragons, I have my army, and now I have a fleet of ships to carry us back to Westeros. With Tsarmina, Clogg, and Ripfang all dead, my work in Mossflower is finally complete. I've liberated one country, and now it's time to liberate another one. Together, we will sail to Westeros. We will defeat the false king, Joffrey! And I will take back my Iron Throne!"

Everyone cheered.

By that afternoon, they were ready to set sail. There were 104 ships altogether: the hundred the Greyjoys had brought, the ship Quentin and his Dornishmen had arrived in, Ripfang's former ship Bloodwake, and Clogg's two ships, Seascarab and Waterlily. The three tireless dragons soared above them all. The ships and dragons were heading south. When they came to the mouth of the River Moss, they would turn west and sail down the river until it opened into the Narrow Sea.

Tyrion stood beside Dany on the deck of the foremost ship. "Well, it looks like you're in the great game now," he said to her. "After my family turned against me, I gave up on believing in myself, or in anything or anyone else, but now I believe in you. You're going to make a great queen."

"And you're going to make a great Hand," Dany replied.

Tyrion was caught off guard. "What?"

"Varys told me what a great job you did serving as Joffrey's Hand. If I'm going to rule Westeros, I need someone by my side who knows the political structures of Westeros inside and out. I can't think of anyone more fitted from the job than you."

Touched, Tyrion knelt in front of her. "I'd be honored to be your Hand, my queen."
