"Skye, what are you doing here?"

"I asked her to bring me lunch."

Fitz smirked at his cousin. There was another reason. She wanted Skye to see a picture of Mellie.

"Have you seen his baby? Karen looks like you."

"No, we made plans for me to see his fiancé and kids tomorrow."

"Show Skye a picture of Mellie."

"You said your fiancé's name is Olivia."

"Mellie is Karen's birthmother. I told you it's complicated."

"She could be your twin."

"Alison, they have a slight resemblance."

"Let me see her picture."

Fitz reluctantly looked through his photos. They exchanged pictures every month as part of the adoption agreement.

"Wow, she's me in a waitress uniform. I have a look alike! I want to meet her. Call her Fitz."

"I don't know if she's working right now."

"This is really cool. You have to call."

Fitz had never seen Skye so giddy about anything. This was going to be awkward.

Mellie answered on the first ring. "Fitz?"

"Hello Mellie."

"Is Karen okay?"

"She's fine. We're in Scotland for the holiday."

"Okay. Why are you calling me?"

"My friend Skye wants to speak to you."

"Who?"

Fitz didn't ask for permission to switch to video call. He waited for Mellie to accept before giving Skye the phone.

"Wow, you look like me."

"This is amazing! I've heard everyone has a twin." Skye said. "Can I have your number?"

"Yeah sure. Fitz can you send me a video of Karen?"

"I sure can. I'll send it in a few hours. Goodbye Mellie."

"Where does she live?"

"Virginia."

"You two were a couple?"

"No. It's complicated."

"Why aren't you marrying Mellie or Skye?"

"Olivia is the reason you're alive. She had a dream about the accident."

"Are you serious? Is she psychic?"

"No. She also mentioned something about Mellie having a twin sister in her dream."

"I want to meet Olivia today." Skye said.

XXXX

Olivia thought the loud noise was the tv when Maya answered the phone. She knew it wasn't when she heard Bernadette scream.

"Mom is grandma okay?"

"No Livvie."

Maya tried to stay calm. Panicking would not help Sophia. She stepped outside to get some air.

"Sophia is with the paramedics. She's not breathing."

"What?!"

"She choked on a cookie. We didn't know she was in the kitchen."

"How?"

"I came over for Thanksgiving. My mom and grandma were sleeping. I was upstairs printing a dessert recipe. Sophia was choking when I came downstairs. I couldn't get the cookie out of her throat. The paramedics cleared her airway. They're trying to get her breathing."

Olivia's lip quivered and tears fell.

"Mom why are you sad?" Amelia asked Olivia.

Olivia didn't answer the question. She covered her mouth and closed her eyes. It was hard to listen to Bernadette screaming hysterically.

"Livvie, I'm going in the ambulance. My mom can't handle this right now. I'll call you when I have an update."

"Okay."
