Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this chapter, in which Naruto completely and totally loses her shit because she gets so angry. As always read and review!

Orochimaru looked almost startled at the sight of Naruto, then his eyes narrowed, "It seems that Kabuto-kun couldn't keep you away for long."

"What can I say, I'm that good." Naruto launched herself at Orochimaru-but he was quick she'd give him that much, he managed to leap away, skidding to a halt some distance from her.

"Yes, yes you are aren't you?" Orochimaru sounded annoyed. "You know if I'd have realized how annoying you'd be I'd have killed you in the forest when you were still holding back to hide who you are."

"Shame for you that you didn't." Naruto bit her thumb, swiping it over a seal on her arm and pulling out several of her Hirashin Kunai and tossing them towards Orochimaru-and as he was dodging those her hands moved-and then nearly fifty cloned shuriken were speeding through the air towards Orochimaru-and while he'd been able to dodge her kunai he sure as hell couldn't dodge that many shuriken so well-for of them struck him-nowhere fatal sadly enough-one in the shoulder, one in his left forearm, one had sliced across the right side of his torso and one-Naruto resisted the urge to snort. One had literally sliced his ear off.

As strong as Orochimaru may be even he couldn't fight properly without his arms-he couldn't use any of his ninjutsu or even use taijutsu properly. It was rather startling to realize just how much difference that made-she was certain that if he was at full strength, by this point she'd have been using Kurama's chakra out of necessity, but now... it was almost laughable how easy it was for her to fight him.

"Whoops." Naruto was grinning widely- "I assume you didn't hear me coming-"

"You little brat!" Orochimaru roared the words, "I'll kill you?"

"How? Just gonna flop your arms at me are you?" she mocked with a smirk, "All you have now really is your legs and your injured arms are knocking you off balance massively." then she was behind him where a Hirashin kunai had landed, Rasengan already forming as she went to smash it into the back of his head-and that alone would be enough to kill him at this point-but then there was a blur of movement and Orochimaru was a short distance away and Kabuto was stood in front of him defensively.

"I'm sorry Orochimaru-sama, she must have given Tsunade-sama a Hirashin kunai."

"I think I realized that." Orochimaru snapped, "Kill her."

"Of course Orochimaru-sama."

Then they were flying towards each other, Kabuto's hands glowing blue with Chakra once more while Naruto's were moving lightning fast, flicking from one jutsu to the next with barely a moments pause

She smirked to herself as she focused her chakra and blew a rather large ball of flames at Kabuto, which forced him to veer sideways to avoid being burned alive-right into the path of a newly summoned clone-which swung its leg out, catching his legs and sending him stumbling into the clones fist-which hit right in the stomach.

Kabuto grunting and leapt backwards, slashing with his hand as he did-which of course caused the clone to dispel, but Naruto was already moving-except a movement near Tsunade caught Naruto's eyes and she went deathly pale, cursing under her breath as she span away from Kabuto and towards Tsunade-who Orochimaru had been approaching, blood still dripping from his arm-and now from the other wounds-yeah maybe that was partly her fault.

"Back the hell up-"

"I don't think I will Naruto-chan." his voice was singsong, and then Kabuto was on her again-and so was Orochimaru.

On his own Naruto could take him, but with Kabuto doing most of the work-and did- she scowled. Kabuto had just helped Orochimaru summon a bunch of snakes-thankfully not any that were too large but still, they'd be a problem.

In any case while Kabuto could keep her mostly distracted Orochimaru could sweep in and kick her or sweep her legs out, and he was fast too, both of them were. It was infuriating, and she snarled as she dodged a snake that tried to bite her leg-probably poisonous she decided.

This was infuriating.

"Ugh. That's just disgusting brat, I hate snakes they don't even taste nice."

"Yeah I agree, they're horrible-but is now really the time for you to give me advice as to how they taste?"

Naruto demanded exasperatedly-it was annoying as hell having to dodge the little snakes as well as Kabuto and Orochimaru-and difficult too. On more than one occasion in her dodging of the snakes she ended up getting within range of the Sannin and his little spy-the Sannin generally just kicked her but Kabuto's chakra scalpels could cause a lot of damage if she wasn't careful. She had several cuts over her body-though to give her some credit she had managed to do a fair bit of damage to Kabuto too-he tended to shield Orochimaru when she tried to target him.

"You know what brat."
Kurama asked suddenly, "I might not be fully recovered, but I am getting there-and it didn't do us any harm when you used my chakra against the masked bastard."

"Good point."

Naruto siezed the Chakra that Kurama was offering up-and the cuts littering her body healed almost instantly.

Orochimaru's eyes darkened and he turned his head to look at Kabuto.

"As we planned." and Naruto's eyes narrowed at that.

What the hell did that mean? As we planned? Then Kabuto was rushing at her and-she tried to leap backwards but Orochimaru was there, kicking her forward-she cursed loudly-then much to her confusion Kabuto's hand was slicing-but he didn't slice through her skin-he sliced at the fabric of her shirt-and he ripped the lower half of it away exposing her stomach.

"What the-" there were snakes around her legs and then-her eyes widened when she saw that Kabuto had some transfer paper with a seal pulled on it-one of her chakra tails lashed out, swiping away the snakes at her feet, and another one hit Orochimaru hard, sending him flying backwards while the third and final tail moved to try and shield her-but Kabuto was too quick and the seal was over the top of her seal-and he was pushing chakra into it to activate it.

Naruto screamed as she felt her connection with Kurama disappearing almost instantly as she leapt backwards, stumbling and almost tripping.

"KURAMA!"
she screamed his name in her mind, and she could almost hear something-blocked and distant-she felt rage flood through her as she looked down.

A five pointed seal disrupting the seal keeping Kurama inside of her.

She couldn't hear him, couldn't reach him and in the middle of a fight she wouldn't have the chance to remove it.

She bellowed with rage, speeding towards Kabuto, who leapt to the side, and a snake was behind him-it lunged and bit her arm-she swatted it away easily, pivoting, ignoring the sharp pain in her arm as she locked eyes with Kabuto.

"You're dead." and she was rushing again, Rasengan in hand.

Kabuto dodged to the side again and she followed, chasing as he led her on a merry chase, ignoring the throbbing pain in her arm, pure rage taking away any remnants of clear thought.

All she could think was:

They took Kurama. They took Kurama from me. They took my Kurama. I'll kill them they took Kurama I can't hear him. Kurama I'll get you back I'll get you back I'll kill them for daring to come between us I'll kill them.

Perhaps it wasn't quite a healthy reaction, but Kurama was more than a friend really.

He'd been a part of her from the day she was born, he'd been there through every moment of her life, before even her mom had been there-even if she hadn't known it.

He'd kept her alive when the carers had skipped her feedings or pinched her when she was a baby, had comforted her whenever she was sad growing up-if she and her mom would argue it was Kurama who she'd go to.

He was a part of her, by this stage she didn't know who she'd be without him.

So being suddenly cut off from him? Especially so soon after finding out that there was an entire organisation that was planning on trying to take him from her?

There were no words to describe the level of the rage and hate she was feeling.

Nothing else mattered in that instant but killing the bastard who had taken away her Kurama.

She reached him, saw terror in his eyes as she plunged a Rasengan into his stomach and sent him flying backwards, and she was snarling like an animal when she turned towards Orochimaru-her eyes flashing with fury-if she was thinking clearly she'd laugh at the irony. The one time she really lost control of herself was the time when she physically couldn't access Kurama and Orochimaru looked concerned to say the least as she advanced.

Then she stumbled and she growled again, moving forward-and then she stumbled again, this time falling to her knees-and her arm was burning now. It felt like she was on fire.

She distantly realized that Kurama couldn't heal her at the moment.

Well fuck. The snake was probably poisonous.

As she started to topple forward Orochimaru was surging forward and kicking her in the chest so that she fell backwards instead, smirking horribly down at her.

"Well well." he hissed, "It looks like you're not as strong as you thought after all." And she coughed, she could taste copper in her mouth. That wasn't good.

"Scared you there for a minute though."

"Oh you did I must admit. You're far stronger than I thought you'd be. Don't worry about Kabuto-kun. He heals fast-almost as fast as you." he chuckled, "So he'll recover just fine.

Then his foot was coming down on her throat, pressing down until she couldn't breath-and her limbs felt too heavy, hot she couldn't move.

She wanted to cry, to scream and rage at the unfairness.

She wanted Kurama, her other half.

She called out to him, desperate but there was no response and the poison was undoubtedly doing its work well.

She was going to die.

And she'd be alone. She hadn't ever expected that.

Then she heard an unholy shrieking noise and Orochimaru was hit by a blur of red and pink.

Naruto sucked in a desperate lungful of air, turning her head to see Sakura punching Orochimaru and kicking him.

She had no real form, she was almost as wild as Naruto had been, all anger and emotion fueling her motions.

The Kabuto was there and Naruto wanted to scream as she saw him slice Sakura's arm open, silent tears pouring down her cheeks as she watched Sakura fight back.

And Sakura was good, so good. She'd trained so hard and come so far but Kabuto was strong, as much as she had faith in her friend she knew Sakura wasn't strong enough-then Tsunade was there, punching Kabuto away and grabbing Sakura, throwing her towards Naruto, the pink haired girl landing with a yell and a thud next to Naruto.

To give her credit she didn't even hesitate. She moved quickly, hands glowing green. "Naruto hold on please. Why isn't Kurama healing you."

"Seal." Naruto managed to gasp out, "Bastards placed a seal to disrupt mine... I can't reach him." she was crying, "Snake bit me... poisoned."

"I-I haven't learned how to deal with poisons yet." Sakura was shaking, crying, and Naruto could hear thuds and crashing-the sounds of a fight.

It seemed like Tsunade had managed to pull herself together enough to fight despite her fear of blood.

"E-Ero Sennin might be able to unseal me."

"He's on the way." Sakura brushed Naruto's hair out of her face, "There's not even any point in tying a tourniquet around your arm to stop the poison because it's already spread through your system." she shook her head, wiping away her own tears.

"What happened, "Shizune-san woke us up but Tsunade-sama drugged Jiraiya-sama or something, he's not exactly fighting fit."

"Just need to remove the seal." Naruto closed her eyes, "Then Kurama can heal me." Each breath was painful now. This was definitely cutting it too close, "Can't remove it myself-too weak."

"Just hold on okay. They'll be here soon." Sakura was shaking as she pulled Naruto so that she was half led in her lap.

Naruto let out a breath, closing her eyes. At least she wasn't alone. Though she wanted Kurama, she missed him.

She could feel herself fading, she'd pass out soon-and then there were two new voices, familiar voices, and she was being pulled off Sakura's lap-but she couldn't seem to force her eyes to open.

Then she felt a hand on her stomach and a searing pain-and then a flood of Chakra flowing through her.

The sensation was too much and she blacked out-and then she was in the familiar clearing back in wave and Kurama was staring at her wide eyed,
"Brat!"

"Kurama!" Naruto nearly screamed the name, launching herself towards the cage and reaching through the bars to him, and he pressed his face up close to the bars so that she could curl her fingers in his fur easier. "Oh Kami Kurama I-"

"I know." Kurama's voice was soothing, "I know kit I know."

"I don't like it I don't like not being able to feel you."

"It's okay. It's okay now. I could see everything. You're okay. Jiraiya removed the seal and you're going to be okay and I'm here."

"I know you are. It just scared me."

"Of course it did brat, but everything's okay now."

"I'm so used to having you there, the thought of you being gone-"

"I'm not going anywhere." there were several moments of silence, Naruto clinging to Kurama and Kurama letting her, and then after some time the Bijuu spoke once more, "You should go back kit, let them know you're okay."

"Yeah." Naruto let out a breath, "I'm so-"

"Don't apologize, don't. You did nothing wrong, now shoo."

"I love you." Naruto closed her eyes, and when she opened them again she was once more half led in someone's lap.

Her vision took a moment to clear-it had been blurry for the first few seconds, but soon Tsunade's face came into view and Naruto gave a weak smile
"Got over your fear of blood then."

"You know kid," Tsunade had a faintly amused smile on her lips, "I get the feeling meeting you is either gonna be the best thing to have ever happened to me or the worst."

"I get that a lot." Naruto laughed faintly, and she let Tsunade finish healing her-and somehow she just knew in that moment.

Their mission was going to be a success.
