An Important Author's Note
To my Patient Readers,
First of all, I would like to say sorry for taking so long since my last update four months ago. I've been pretty occupied because of the Holidays. You know, shopping, decorating, getting things for dinner, ordering and wrapping presents, all that and so much more, take tons of time over the Holidays. I'd tried to make time to work on Part 4 of the 'Mousers' Attack' episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012" series. I even wanted to finish it on December 24th before Christmas, but I couldn't find the time. I wanted to put so much into it, but it was taking too long and I was constantly overwhelmed by it.
So, I took time. Then I got back to it again, except I was still feeling overwhelmed. I wanted to continue to write, but I came to the realization that I had something called 'Writer's Block'. It's been driving me crazy and I know that some of you might have experienced it as well. I know I'm asking a lot from you but I would appreciate it if you could possibly wait just a little bit longer for the next chapter, 'til I get my inspiration back on track. My Dad said some Authors take a few weeks, maybe a month (hopefully it won't come to that) in order to get their creativity working again. Either they get an idea spark in their brain, or a thought of something they could use to continue on with their creation.
Anyway, I hope you get the gist of what I'm saying. Please accept my apology for the long wait; believe me, I know what it's like to wait for something that you've been aching to receive. I will get the next chapter done and hopefully get it up for you to read as soon as possible. Thank you so much. I'm grateful for your patience!
One more thing - though it's taken a while, I thought I, as well as the Turtles, would like to answer a couple of the questions you posted in the review section after the previous chapter was updated. In any case, now would be best, so you won't have to wait much longer, okay? So, here we go:
"To the Turtles: If you guys were in Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental, what would you do?"
Mikey: "Wow Dude! I think that game is WAAAAAY TOO Creepy for me! I'd stay far away from that and go get some pizza instead!"
Donnie: "I'm with Mikey on this one. Convoluted and too weird for my taste. Don't want to insult anyone, but I have enough weirdness with fighting the Kraang to last a lifetime."
Raph: "Not my ball of wax, but if push came to shove, I'd go in bustin' heads, breaking down doors, and get to the end of the game fast. Try out some new fighting techniques on any bad guys I'd encounter. Done Deal!"
Leo: "I've got to agree with my brothers on this one. Don't like the game. Don't even want to give it a try. Total waste of a leader's time. No offense!"
"To Mikey: Since Circus Baby makes ice cream and cupcakes, and she's from a pizzeria, would you want to hang out with her? Why or why not?"
Mikey: "Sure would, Dude! Anyone who works in a pizzeria is A-OK with me! Besides, I can get down with a good ice cream and cupcake any day of the week."
"To Donnie: If you were tasked with repairing the animatronics, how would you do it?"
Donnie: "Very slowly! I would have to make sure I followed any diagram available to ensure accuracy in the repair. Wouldn't want the animatronics doing anything they weren't supposed to do, like turn on me and my brothers. Would not be good!"
"To Raph: In Ballora Gallery, since you have to be quiet and not move, would you listen to Baby's instructions, or would you wing it?"
Raph: "Man, I'd wing it. Trust my own judgment and do my best to move on to win."
"To Leo: If you were in the Scooping Room, how would you get out?"
Leo: "I would use a discarded endoskeleton to disguise myself and do my best to slip out of the room, so the Scooper doesn't eviscerate me. If that fails, I'd fight like heck and blast out of there as fast as I possibly could."
"And here's a question for Alora: Do you like to read? If you do, what's your favorite book series? If you don't, what do you like to do in your free time?"
Alora: "As a matter of fact, I do like to read. My favorite book series is called 'Deep Blue' by Jennifer Donnelly. It's about a mermaid princess from the oldest civilization of merfolk, who has been chosen by the Leader of a group of sea witches, along with five other mermaids that includes the princess's best friend, to unite the kingdoms of the six seas to fight off an ancient evil that was returning to threaten their world's very existence. It's really entertaining and amazing to read! I've read all four books and I loved them, only there was a cliffhanger at the end of Book four, so I hope Ms. Donnelly writes a sequel about what'll happen next with the Mermaid six. About what I do for free time is either sketching in one of my sketchbooks, do some sewing with my sewing machine and clothing designs, watching 'Space Heroes' with Leo, playing videogames with Mikey, helping Donnie in the Lab, doing Ninja training with Raph, spending quality time with April, or having some tea with Master Splinter."
Alright, let's move on to our second question that's in store for the Turtles:
"Since the new 'Avatar: the Last Airbender' is coming to Netflix, who is your favorite character and what your favorite bending is? Mine is Iroh and my favorite bending is fire/lighting bending. Plus, I enjoy some homemade Jasmine tea."
Mikey: "Oh man Dude, you're asking me to choose. I can't, because I really like all of them and their powers. Maybe – I would create my own bending power – like Pizza Bender! Yeah, that sounds like a power I can handle: the Greatest Pizza Bender in the World! Man, everyone would LOVE me, so there wouldn't be any more fighting. Just a lot of love and PIZZA!"
Donnie: "I would like to have the bending power of Katara – water bending. That way, anyone with a fire power could be overwhelmed with water and the fire would be immediately put out. Then, maybe, we could all get down to the business of resolving our differences, instead of using out powers to fight each other."
Raph: "I would really love to have all of Aang's bending powers, but I'd settle for Earthbending. Moving a lot of dirt and rocks around seems like a really manly power, so I'd go with that one. Strong powers, just like me!"
Leo: "I too would like to be Aang, but I would want his ability to bend Energy. Energy flows and moves everything, which is the basest for life. So, that is the power I would choose, as it would give me the greatest ability to make positive change in the world."
I would also like to ask everyone to please hold onto any other questions you may want to post until the next chapter comes in. I really want to be able to get this next chapter done without feeling pressured into answering anymore comments about the Turtles and the Noble Light, along with their Sensei and friends, and as well as the story-line itself. It's been a really tough year in 2020 for all of us, so let's hope we get a brand new start this year, as well as see the end to this Pandemic very, very soon.
Stay safe, wash your hands, stay tuned, thanks for understanding, and I know it's already late to say this, but - HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021!
