Something About it Turns Me On

Wednesday Evening

7:32 p.m.

Alex pushed the sleeves to her white, long-sleeved t-shirt up above her elbows as she entered the kitchen from the hallway.

The telltale horns of the TV show Survivor echoed in the living room as the chanting chorus began to play.

"Da-da, da-da-da, da-da-dah!" Olivia, Theo, Isabel, and Grace bellowed from the sofa.

Alex smiled and shook her head as she moved to the island and lifted her mug of now-cold red tea and took a sip, looking into the living room at her wife and children.

"Come, on, Babe. Come sit and watch with us." Olivia's voice was loud over the music.

Alex stepped to the fruit bowl on the island and took two avocados from the top—to overly ripe ones she had noticed earlier as they were doing the dinner dishes—that needed to be preserved in a cooler temperature.

She moved to the refrigerator, opened the door, and placed them on the second shelf before closing it and folding her arms, moving to stand in the hallway that separated the kitchen from the living room. She looked at the TV and then back at her wife and children.

Grace was on Olivia's right side, cuddled into her, Theo was on her wife's left, and Isabel was on the smaller part of the sectional, with what appeared to be her Fashion Executive Barbie in her hands as she tried to braid the hair, her little tongue sticking out.

The blonde attorney strode toward the smaller part of the sectional then, joining Isabel, their blue-eyed girl immediately beginning to make the stiff-limbed doll dance along the tops of Alex's mid thighs.

"I thought you liked Survivor, Babe," Olivia said as the music ended and a commercial began. She pressed the remote to lower the volume all the way to barely audible.

"I do like it, Liv. I like the drama and the action. I just like watching it from the comfort of my sofa." Alex glanced at her wife, smirking.

"Mommy. Can you braid her hair?" Isabel placed the rigid doll on her lap and the blonde began separating her thin, shiny, plastic hair into three sections.

"We're gonna miss you on our survivalist camp training weekend." Olivia began laughing.

Alex smiled, finishing the short, thick braid, and taking the rubber band that her daughter was holding out to her. "No, you won't. I know you won't miss my complaining, Liv." She handed the doll to Isabel and looked back at Olivia. "And don't even pretend you will."

"Come on, Babe. We leave the day after tomorrow. It's your last chance for s'mores, foil breakfast burritos, watching the sunset and singing, cuddling in a sleeping bag next to the campfire."

Alex looked at her wife again. "And smoke-smelling up everything, bugs crawling on our stuff, freezing at night, and shivering…" Alex began giggling now, "…goats eating our clothes.

Olivia winked. "Hopefully not, Al. But that was a great trip." She smiled and cocked her head to the side. "Come on. It'll be fun. Theo and Gracie want both of you to come, too." Olivia looked down at her daughter and son. "Right, guys?"

Grace looked up at Olivia now. "I don't want to go anymore."

"What?" Olivia furrowed her brow. "Why not, Baby?"

"I want to stay with Mommy and Izzie." Grace looked back at the TV.

Olivia raised her eyebrows and looked back at Alex. She threw Alex a perplexed expression before speaking again, "Well, I guess if you don't want to go, Gracie…" The brunette then shook her head and flared her nostrils.

And Alex knew exactly why their brown-eyed daughter had changed her mind.

Since they had been discussing a survival retreat weekend over three weeks prior that was to occur in Columbia County in upstate New York at Northcamp Survivalist Camp, Alex had been planning a girls' fun weekend for she and Isabel. The weekend would include ice skating, pizza, movies, and painting nails. And all-round fun couple of days to counter the opposing, ruggedly rustic side of the family with, what was originally going to be Grace, Theo, and Olivia.

But the fact was, Alex wanted to at least try to persuade their brown-eyed daughter once more so that she wouldn't regret not having gone later, after all was said and done.

"Gracie…" Alex began, "…we can do our girl's weekend another time. You can still go with your Mama and brother. You're not gonna miss anything, baby. I think you would have fun camping, too. You love nature and little animals and bugs." Alex looked at Olivia. "Right, Liv?"

"I know she would have fun, but…it's her decision." Olivia squeezed her against her right side. "Right, Gracie?"

Grace looked up at Olivia and smiled.

"Then it's settled." Olivia looked down at Theo and pulled him closer to her. "I guess it's just us two, my boy!"

Theo grinned impishly. A chance for him to spend time with just his brunette mother, away from his sisters for a weekend, and Alex could see the overwhelming glee now on his face.

Olivia's eyes caught her own again. "And if any of you change your mind about coming…"

"I know the offer and invitation are still open, my love. Don't worry." Alex winked.

"Stay and watch the show with us?" Olivia wiggled her eyebrows.

"I wouldn't miss it."

Grace got off of Olivia now and moved to Isabel on the small part of the sectional to join her.

Olivia patted the empty space next to her, wiggling her eyebrows once more.

Alex took a deep breath and shook her head, smiling, before she stood and moved to sit next to her wife. She leaned into her right side and placed her right hand on her wife's right, mid-thigh, leaning into her right ear. "I will miss you terribly, though…" she declared softly before placing a gentle kiss against her ear lobe and settling further against Olivia.

"I'll miss you, too," Olivia whispered against her left temple, placing a soft kiss there.

Thursday Night

10:02 p.m.

Olivia exited the bathroom now, through a small cloud of freshly-spritzed perfume, rubbing lotion into her elbows and just watching her wife who was reading in bed, knees bent and up, a thick book on top of her thighs. The brunette blindly reached into the bathroom with her left hand and switched the light off before slowly making her way to the foot of the bed and removing her purple silk robe slowly, skimpy black chemise beneath. She fluffed her hair that was now down and almost dried from showering over an hour prior and rubbed her lips together, her gaze never leaving Alex.

And the blonde had yet to notice her, much less look up.

Olivia watched her wife narrow her eyes at the page she was on, furrowing her brow and then turning that page quickly before the brunette watched those clear blue eyes begin to quickly read down the next page.

Alex was absolutely enthralled in the book she was reading and from the less-than-a-quarter centimeter of pages left, the brunette could tell she was near the end of a novel she had been trying to read over the past couple of months.

Olivia turned her side of the bed down now and sat, slipping her legs beneath the sheet and quilt, and laying on her back. She turned her head to the left and looked at Alex again.

She still hadn't noticed her. Olivia decided to take a deep breath now and then let it out slowly.

Nothing.

Olivia looked down at her own cleavage now—not much there, being that she was on her back—and so she decided to roll onto her left side, causing her breasts to now squeeze together, the line separating them now more than pronounced. She looked back at her wife and simply watched her now—the blonde in a baby blue cotton camisole, with her light blue satin pajama bottoms to match, her hair up in a high bun, her glasses on.

Alex paused from reading and began sniffing the air. "Do you have that per—?" she stopped mid-sentence as she finally looked at the brunette. "Jesus, Liv…she whispered, her eyes scanning Olivia's body.

Olivia couldn't help but smile broadly. "I think you noticed I have on your favorite perfume…"

Alex only nodded, saying nothing. She closed her book and set it on her bedside table hastily before returning to the bed and giving her full attention to the brunette now, moving in close and pressing her front to Olivia's left side, her eyes scanning her face, her neck, upper chest, breasts, before returning to her face, and then her eyes.

"I thought…maybe we could…" Olivia bit her lower lip.

Alex nodded slowly, her eyes on Olivia's mouth.

"I just figured, before tomorrow…since we have a weekend aw—"

Before Olivia knew it, Alex's mouth was pressed to her own, their kiss heated, the blonde's strong hands squeezing her breasts before sliding them around her hips, before finding their way beneath her thin negligee and lifting.

Their kiss broke and Alex began her way down the brunette's jawline, lightly tickling Olivia's side.

Olivia smiled, her hands in the blonde's now-loosened locks. "You sure…" Olivia began, letting out a moan as Alex kissing her neck, "…you don't wanna come…" Olivia gasped as Alex pinched her right nipple through the thin, cotton fabric, "…tomorrow…?"

Alex shook her head, her mouth now beginning to place tiny kisses along Olivia's upper chest and moving downward still.

Olivia's breathing quickened and she lifted her chin as Alex continued even further downward, moving the fabric lower as she went, her wife's hand now finding it's way in between her thighs and pressing the pads of her delicate fingers to the brunette's warmth, Olivia happy she had chosen to remove her undergarments on this particular night.

"I told you no…besides…" Alex moved her body further down now, making her way in between Olivia's thighs, "…something…" Alex kissed Olivia's right inner thigh, "…about it…" she kissed her left inner thigh before looking up at her with heavy-lidded eyes, "…turns me on…you…being in nature…flannel shirt and jeans...all rough and rugged…" she offered in between licks.

Alex pressed her mouth to Olivia's entire womanhood now, her lips enveloping the brunette perfectly, before taking in a large amount of suction with those amazing lips and that perfect mouth.

Olivia gasped and her body bucked uncontrollably, her back arching in response, her eyes squeezing tightly shut, her face to the ceiling. "Jesus, Alex…ahhh…" Olivia hissed.

"So…" Alex let her tongue swipe upward now, delicately pressing inside.

Olivia moaned, long and low, her face relaxing, her eyes still closed.

"…just so you know…" Alex let her tongue flutter mercilessly along Olivia's clit.

Olivia moaned again and propped her upper body on her elbows behind her, looking down at her wife, ready to watch her do what she did and had always done so well. "So I know what?" she panted.

"…that there's more of this…" Alex continued, letting her long, wet tongue enter Olivia's warmth again and wiggle left and right quickly.

Olivia let out an, "Uhhhh", her brow furrowing from need.

"…when you come back Sunday night…"

Olivia felt the full spectrum of magic as Alex's movements began intensely now, her wife always able to bring her body to a state of euphoria so quickly as the brunette let her upper body slowly drop back onto the bed, onto her pillow, and she let her wife take charge of her pleasure.

And she smiled to herself, knowing exactly why Alex was doing this, and not caring one, little single bit.

Sunday

4:22 p.m.

"I know you did it on purpose, Alex. And guess what, Babe?" Olivia watched Theo pick out a bag of chips for the ride back home.

Their weekend had gone amazingly and now she and her son were at a quick mart getting a couple of things before their two-hour drive back.

Mother and son had connected in nature, had communed with the trees and lakes, had roughed it with complete strangers—most of them men and boys. But they had survived and had learned many things they hadn't known before—making fire, foraging for edibles, how to tie ten different kinds of knots—and it had all been a learning experience for both Olivia and Theo and had been an amazing time to spending together and grow even closer.

"What, Olivia? What am I guessing?"

Olivia grinned and looked down at her red and navy plain flannel shirt and jeans now and smiled, hearing her wife's playful tone on the other end, as well. The brunette lowered her voice as she spoke, "It worked, Babe." Olivia watched Theo head toward her now.

He handed her the bag of pretzels.

Olivia said off to the side, away from the mouthpiece of her iPhone. "Get two large waters."

Theo nodded and moved to the refrigerated drinks section about four feet away.

"What worked, Liv?"

Once again, the blonde's smile was in her voice.

"I haven't stopped thinking about you…about Thursday night…since we got here."

"Hmmmm," Alex moaned contemplatively, "…so I do have an effect on you, Liv?"

Olivia smiled and motioned for Theo to begin walking with her to the register. "You absolutely do, Al. Always have."

They set their bag of pretzels, two waters, and a peanut butter Power Bar for Olivia on the counter and watched as the man began to ring them up.

"Nine thirty-seven." He looked at Theo and then Olivia and waited.

Olivia reached into her back pocket and pulled out the ten dollar bill that she knew was there and set it on the red Formica surface.

"You'll be home in two hours?" Alex asked.

"Two hours…" Olivia held her palm out for the sixty-three cents.

The man dropped the change into her palm and she then dropped it into the spare change dish off to the side.

"Thank you…" Olivia said with a smile.

They exited the Lenny's Gas-n-Go and each made their way around the Datsun, getting into their own side.

"I can't wait to see you," Alex offered.

Olivia closed the door and smiled, looking at her son next to her, who was putting his seatbelt on.

Theo finally looked up at her and smiled.

"Me, too, Al…me, too…see you soon…" Olivia expertly pulled out her own seat belt with just her left hand, ending the call with her right thumb, and then looked to her right at their son, clicking her belt into place. "Ready to go home, Theo?" Olivia chirped.

Theo nodded firmly. "Yeah, Mama."

"Let's head home, my boy." She winked at him, turned the ignition on and backed out of the convenient store parking space, off to head home to the rest of her family, and let her wife love her, and for the brunette to love her in return, all over again.
