Olivia thought she was dreaming when she heard the doorbell ring. She was too tired to walk up the stairs. Harrison didn't come back with anything she wanted from her other house. He said Karen wanted to get some food. She was sleeping when he dropped her off at their new house. She was still next to Olivia. The doorbell rang again and Olivia pushed herself off the sofa and limped to the door. She held her stomach when she walked. She needed stronger pain medicine. This was going to be really difficult. Taking care of Karen and the babies while she was recovering from her C-section. Her job wanted to know when she was coming back to work. Olivia knew it would be a few more months. She looked out the window and was surprised to see Fitz standing outside. Why was he here? She hadn't spoken to him in months, and she ignored his calls earlier. She couldn't handle anymore heartbreak. He was going to keep ringing the doorbell if she didn't answer.
"Fitz, what are you doing here? How do you know where I live?"
"Maya gave me your address."
Olivia was getting lightheaded. She looked for something to hold onto. When she couldn't find anything, she stumbled trying to walk away from him. Fitz reached forward and pulled her into his arms lifting her off her feet.
"Put me down. I don't need anything from you."
"No." He said, carrying her further into the house.
He looked at Karen sleeping. He didn't sit down with Olivia. He needed her in his arms.
"We are not friends anymore."
"We are more than that. We are married."
"Put me down Fitz."
'What's wrong with you?"
"I've been in the hospital four months, and I had a C-section earlier this week."
"I didn't know that."
"You didn't call me. You didn't care."
"I love you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you."
"We are fine. Harrison is a great friend. He's been there for me, Karen, and my babies every day."
"He needs to leave. I saw him and Karen today. She thinks I'm a stranger."
"I don't know why she would say that about you. Harrison and I don't talk about you. My mom doesn't talk about you. I guess you've been gone too long for Karen."
"I'm sorry Livvie."
"Is that all you have to say?"
"I have a lot to say. Do you want to know everything now?"
"I'm tired. Can you help us get upstairs?"
"You're letting me stay?"
"You can explain whatever you have to say tomorrow. I really need help getting upstairs. Karen can't stay on the sofa all night."
"Thank you Livvie." Fitz lowered his head for a kiss and Olivia turned her head away from him.
"No more kisses."
