Making Up for It

Shinobu blinked, and Tanjirou rushed to explain himself.

"Today's the last day of the festival, and we still have time! I thought maybe… maybe we could at least enjoy it before we went back tomorrow." Rubbing the back of his neck, and in shyer tones, he added, "It sucked when our last date got interrupted, so…"

The earnest expression on his face is too much. Shinobu couldn't say no even if she'd wanted to. No. Never. Never no for Tanjirou.

"Of course." It was worth seeing the delight in Tanjirou's gaze. She squeezed his hand. "Let's make up for it."
