Feeling Loved
Tanadia began to pant, looking over to her father who was waiting for her to attack him again. "Give me a second, Papa." She breathed, only sparring with Athrodar for five minutes before getting exhausted. Though it was mostly because she was not used to carrying such a heavy weapon, even her staff was much lighter than the sparring blade in her hands now. "I don't know... how you... do this."
Athrodar chuckled and smiled at her, picking up her sword for her and then helping Tanadia up onto her feet as she had collapsed onto her knees when she got tired. "A lot of practice and muscles." He handed her a water pouch and watched her drink the whole thing in a matter of seconds. "You know, your sister didn't struggle this much."
"She was a ranger, Papa. I'm a priestess." Tanadia took the sword off her father and narrowed her eyes a little at him. "But I bet she couldn't do this."
Athrodar saw her gaze had gone to her sword, having a slight flicker of light on the blade before fading instantly. "No, she couldn't make it flash for a split second with holy magic."
Tanadia looked away a little embarrassed. "That... That was because I'm tired."
Athrodar chuckled and pulled Tanadia in for a hug. "Tell me, why did you want to learn to use a sword?"
Tanadia looked away. "You'll think it's weird... But when we were getting the Tidestone, I had this strange dream that involved me seeing my future self. I was a Paladin on a ship with Liadrin and we were sailing.. somewhere. I had an army of paladins and priests with me and the other ships sailing with us all had their weapons enchanted with the light." She shrugged her shoulders and looked up at her father. "I heard a voice telling me to seek out the Prophet and ask for Saa'ra. But I don't know any prophets."
Athrodar smiled and shook his head, trying to hold in his laugh. "Oh, my little girl." He said, moving his arms around her. "You do realize, Velen is the Prophet. Right?"
Tanadia widened her eyes, keeping her arms around her father and staring off into the distance. "Well... That would have been useful to know beforehand."
"Yes it would have." Athrodar said, still smiling at her. "I'll send a runner to the Exodar and ask about this Saa'ra for you, okay?"
Tanadia smiled up at her father and nodded profusely. "Thank you, Papa. I want to know what I saw." She held the sparring sword in both her hands and pointed it at Athrodar, trying to keep it steady. "Let's go again."
"We took minimal losses, my Lady." Cyndia said, bowing her head to Victoria. "Most of our troops have returned to Stormwind whilst those who are injured are back in Dalaran." She looked over her shoulder when she saw Vereesa quickly making her way towards them. "At least... They should be?"
Victoria looked over to her aunt who didn't look amused. "Vereesa?" She asked, standing up from her throne and catching her attention. "What's wrong?"
"Where's your father?" Vereesa asked, visibly shaking with anger. At least it looked like anger to the young Queen. "If you don't tell me, I will go hunting for him."
Victoria held her hands up. "Okay, okay. He's training Tanadia on how to use a sword in the gardens just over there." She pointed to the right of the Throne Room, down a corridor leading to the Stormwind Keep Gardens. "Can I ask why you want him?"
"He broke a promise he made me. I am just going to talk to him." Vereesa hovered one hand over a knife on her hip, but decided not to take hold of it as she made her way towards the gardens.
Tanadia looked over to Vereesa and smiled brightly at her, but it was quickly removed from her face the moment she saw the anger in her eyes the second Vereesa locked eyes with Athrodar. "Papa... She doesn't look happy."
Athrodar noticed this too, but was too slow to react when Vereesa swung a right hook across his jaw with her gauntlet clad fight, pushing him backwards and forcing him to trip over his own foot. "You promised me you wouldn't hurt my sister!" She yelled at him, eyes full of anger and sadness. "She came to me, crying! I had never seen my sister look so broken!" She pulled out her swords and pointed them at him. "Get up."
"Tana, leave." Athrodar said, wiping the blood from his mouth and getting up onto his feet, reaching for his knives behind his back. "It appears my sister and I are going to have a little talk."
Tanadia returned to the Throne Room and looked over to Victoria who had returned to her previous topic of conversation with Cyndia. "Vic, where's Sylvanas?"
Victoria looked over to her sister. "She's with Alleria in her room." She tilted her head at the young priestess who began to make her way to the Royal Chambers. "Why?"
"I think Vereesa is trying to kill Papa." She said, looking back at her sister before opening the door to the Royal Chambers.
Cyndia raised an eyebrow and looked over to her Queen. "I think we should check that out, no?"
Victoria nodded at her Ranger-General. "Let's go."
By the time the Queen and Ranger-General made their way to the gardens, they saw Athrodar parrying each strike from his sister-in-law with his knives but refused to launch an attack on her in return. "What's going on here?" Cyndia asked, looking over to her Queen. "Should we do something?"
Victoria shook her head, watching her father parry every strike from Vereesa's swords with his knives and occasionally ducking and dodging when his knives wouldn't stop the blades. "I don't want to get in the middle of that. The last time I tried to stop a fight, I died."
"No... That's a fair point." Cyndia watched Athrodar continue to not attack his sister-in-law, having Vereesa miss every strike as it was either dodged or parried away.
"Stop this, Vereesa." Athrodar said, watching her attacks slow down and get easier to dodge. "Just stop, we have made up for what happened." He told her now the moment she collapsed onto her knees and dropped her swords on the floor. "I apologised profusely to her and she accepted it. We aren't arguing, fighting or upset any more. I didn't mean to hurt her, but it happened and I hate myself for doing it." He looked up and over to Sylvanas who was standing beside Tanadia who had clearly brought her here to stop their fight. "Ask her yourself."
Sylvanas made her way over to her sister and hugged her whilst she remained on her knees, crouching down beside the youngest Windrunner sister. "I have forgiven him, Little Moon." She whispered in her ear. "We are..." She stopped herself from spilling too many details about their plan as it was between her and Athrodar, looking up at him for a second before kissing her sister on the temple. "We are happy again. Don't try to kill him, please."
Vereesa leaned into her sister who began to hug her tightly. "He promised me he would never hurt you..." She closed her eyes and was held just a little tighter by her sister. "I was going to punish him for breaking that promise."
Sylvanas smiled and kissed Vereesa on the temple. "I love you, Little Moon. But believe me, if he was to break that promise again, I will be the one who will punish him." She looked over to Athrodar who was putting his knives back. "And he knows better than to hurt me, again."
Athrodar kept quiet so as to not run the risk of saying something wrong, glancing over to Victoria who was rubbing her eyes and pinching her nose. "Next time, if you two are going to fight in my city, please tell me first... You're my family and it looks bad if you get special treatment for murdering one another whilst others get thrown into the Stockades for less."
"You heard our daughter." Sylvanas said with a grin, looking up at Athrodar. "If you want Vereesa to kill you, tell the Queen first."
Victoria sighed. "That's not what I mean... Just go back to training Tana how to use a sword." She glanced over to Sylvanas. "And you spend time with Alleria."
"Almost sounds like you're treating me." Sylvanas said, tongue in cheek. "Come on, Little Moon. Come spend time with your nieces."
Tanadia hugged her father once everyone had left, almost knocking him over with how quickly she ran to him. "Are you okay, Papa? I was worried she was going to kill you."
"If she did, Sylvanas would kill her. Even if she is her sister." Athrodar kissed his daughter on the temple when she held onto him tighter. "And Vereesa knows this. She was never going to kill me, only hurt me... Which I suppose is worse depending on how you look at it."
"I don't want anyone to hurt you anymore, Papa." Tanadia whispered to him. "That's also why I want to learn to fight. So I can protect you."
That made Athrodar smile a lot. "We have to protect each other now, my little priestess. Your mother isn't here anymore, so it's up to us to keep each other safe. Sylvanas and your sister too."
Tanadia nodded against his chest. "Okay, papa..." She muttered, not stopping herself from engulfing her hands in holy magic as she held onto him, just to keep him calm despite her being the one who was closest to breaking down.
"How is her training coming along?"
Athrodar sat up in bed and stretched, looking over to Sylvanas who was looking out towards the city from the balcony. "It's only been a week. Coincidentally, it's also been a week since your sister attacked me. A topic I have noticed we haven't spoken about."
Sylvanas smiled and continued to look out at the city below. "That's because you were both fine. You handled yourself well enough and there was no concern to be had."
Athrodar shook his head. "Once again, it's so nice to know you love me as much as I love you."
Sylvanas laughed at his comment, knowing he meant nothing by it but was trying to fish for a compliment at the very least, or e was trying to get her to admit her love for him which was something she made him do often. "Are you going to leave your wife out here on the balcony by herself at night?"
Athrodar had already climbed out of bed and began to make his way towards her before she even said anything, moving his arms around her from behind in a tight hug just as the question was asked. "Of course not. My Queen will never be alone on a balcony at night, not when her consort can keep her company."
Sylvanas smiled as her heart sang from just his words. Hearing him call her his Queen had always made her feel warm, especially now that they weren't King or Queen, but it was something he just couldn't seem to stop calling her. "Look at you with calling me your Queen."
"That's because you are my Queen." He whispered in her ear, planting a kiss there shortly after. "My heart, my world. I never want to hurt you again."
"Stick to our plan and you never will." Sylvanas told him, leaning back into his hug. "We get rid of Dael'Thaelas, you inherit everything he has, right?"
Athrodar shrugged his shoulders. "I have no idea. His army might kill us if we kill him, even if we have a solid plan to get him on his own with us."
Sylvanas looked down at the city again. "Brilliant... Even after he is dead, we will still have him as a problem."
Before Athrodar could respond, there was a small voice calling for them both inside their room. "Alleria? He called, looking back into their bedroom and laying eyes on their daughter who looked to be covered in paint.
"Belore..." Sylvanas muttered, looking at her daughter. "What did you do, lay in it?"
Athrodar chuckled and watched Sylvanas pick up their daughter. "It does look that that, doesn't it?"
"Paws and I made a picture for you." Alleria said, completely unaware of how much paint was on her.
"And where is Paws?" Sylvanas asked, referring to her stuffed Lynx toy.
"He's here!" Alleria said, holding up Paws who also had paint on him. "He got a bit messy."
Sylvanas sighed and looked at her daughter. "Looks like I am going to have to bathe you... again." She kissed her daughter on her nose. "You were supposed to be asleep an hour ago little one."
"I couldn't sleep." Alleria told her, being carried to the bathroom joined onto their bedroom.
"Let me take care of Paws." Athrodar said, taking him off Alleria and looking at the stuffed toy. "I'll get Raven to clean him up."
Over an hour passed until Athrodar returned with the stuffed toy, clean and fresh. With him was Raven who had talked him into staying with both Sylvanas and himself for the night, as she figured he owed her once she had cleaned Paws. "Besides." She said once they entered the bedroom. "I'm sure Lady Sylvanas will want me to join her. Scarlette, Anne and Ruby are sleeping right now and I needed some company tonight."
"Anything we should be worried about?" Athrodar asked, looking over to the bed and noticing a clean Alleria was asleep in the middle of it. "Well... That puts an end to our plans."
Raven smirked and nudged him. "Not necessarily. I don't see our illustrious Queen."
"That's a good point." Athrodar looked over to the bathroom door and saw Sylvanas was laying in the bath herself, humming a song that was stuck in her head and not noticing both him and Raven were now standing at the door.
"Should we...?" Raven whispered, glancing over to Athrodar.
"Let me." He whispered back, walking over to the side of the bath and tapping Sylvanas on her shoulder. "I'm back and I brought company."
"He owed me." Raven told her the moment Sylvanas looked over to her.
Sylvanas saw Paws in Raven's hand and sighed, looking back to Athrodar. "You're that lazy you couldn't wash it yourself?"
"In my defense." Athrodar said, crouching down beside her. "I didn't want to run the risk of ruining Paws. Victoria got her that little guy the moment she found out she was born." He looked over to Paws in Raven's hand. "I think she will want to sleep with it."
"No worries." Raven said, bowing her head at them both and heading back to the bedroom to hand Alleria the stuffed Lynx toy.
"Care to join me?" Sylvanas asked, walking her fingers up Athrodar's arm.
Athrodar looked back towards their bedroom. "Well since our little girl is in our bed, the one place I want to be right now with you in my arms." He watched Raven walk back into the bathroom and look down at them both. "And I suppose having her with us too." He looked back to Sylvanas who was looking at him lovingly. "I could join you in here."
"Good." Sylvanas purred, walking her fingers up to Athrodar's cheek and moving her hand down to underneath his chin, pulling him towards her so she could kiss him. "Then join me in here."
Just as Athrodar was getting ready to join Sylvanas in the bath, Raven had already shed her clothing, which was much less than what he had on, and climbed in before him. "Hello, my Lady." She whispered seductively, latching her mouth onto Sylvanas' neck and kissing, licking and sucking the flesh there. "I miss being with you, alone."
Sylvanas chuckled lightly then moaned at Raven's onslaught on her neck. "We've never been alone, just the two of us."
"No?" Raven grinned and moved her hand down between Sylvanas' legs. "What a shame." She purred and pushed one finger inside her.
"Eager as always." Sylvanas gasped, arching her back as Raven slowly pushed a second finger inside her. "Join us now, my love... Before I... Gods!"
Raven sat up on her knees, looking down at Sylvanas who had her eyes shut tight and hand over her mouth to hold in her screams of bliss. "That was very quick..." She mused, looking behind her just as Athrodar climbed in too and thankful it was a big enough bath to fit three more people inside, should the opportunity present itself. "Your turn to make her mind go blank."
Sylvanas was quickly recovering, though it was all for nothing when Raven helped her move over to Athrodar and placed her on his lap. "Sure you've got the energy for this?" He asked her, smiling when she nodded her head quickly. "Good."
Raven moved her arms around Sylvanas the moment her arms were around Athrodar's neck, kissing her shoulder whilst Sylvanas buried her head in his neck and rocked back and forth slowly. "She wants to take it slow." Raven said, smiling at the speed at which Sylvanas was moving, which was slow but loving.
Athrodar kissed his Queen on the cheek, holding onto Sylvanas whilst she took control. "When she does this, she just wants to be as close to me as possible. I don't admit this to anyone outside of the two of us, but I love when she wants to take it slow and intimate." He smiled when Sylvanas moved her head back and pressed her head against his. "I don't know why, but my heart beats faster like this than when we go at it wildly."
Raven held onto Sylvanas a little tighter, moving her head to the left and planting a kiss on her lips. "I still want to be a part of this. Especially if it's slow and intimate." She smiled when they both looked at her. "What? I love you both, didn't you know that? I want to feel what you both feel when you're like this."
Sylvanas climbed off Athrodar, feeling empty inside but moving out the way for Raven. "Go. I will have my fun with him after." She winked at Athrodar who raised an eyebrow at her. "You know I can get you hard again. Just let her feel what we feel in this moment."
Letting out a small moan, Raven sank down onto Athrodar and moved her arms around his neck, rocking back and forth slowly and gazing into his eyes. "I... I think I feel it." She whispered, feeling her heart beat faster than usual and leaning forward to press her head against Athrodar's. "I hate to admit it, because it's embarrassing, but I've never felt like this before."
Sylvanas smiled and held onto Raven from behind, planting kisses on her shoulder, neck and cheek. "It's love, isn't it?" She asked, having Raven turn her head to face her and kissing her Queen.
"It is, my Lady. Like I said, I love you both. It sounds sappy, but you have both saved my life by taking me in as your servant and I have enjoyed every second of it. I thought I would be cleaning all day, spending my nights alone in a dark room." She looked back to Athrodar and closed her eyes when he kissed her now. "I never expected to sleep with the King and Queen, especially when they were the ones to proposition it." She pressed her head to Athrodar's again and just wanted to stay in this moment forever. "My chest feels tight and my stomach has butterflies. I don't want to lose either one of you otherwise I know you would not do this without the other and I can't be without this." She opened her eyes again and gazed into Athrodar's smiling sweetly at him. "It makes me feel loved and wanted."
"We love you too." Sylvanas told her, pressing her head to Raven's temple. "We love all you girls. We wouldn't have kept you with us if we didn't."
They spent the next thirty or so minutes together before finally leaving the bath, making their way to the bed and cuddling up to Alleria who slept in the middle of the bed. Raven did join them on the bed too, sleeping behind Sylvanas who was cuddling her little girl against her just to make sure she was safe whilst also not wanting to let go of her. Athrodar was the last one to fall asleep, just watching his two girls, daughter and wife, sleep peacefully beside him. It distracted him from the thoughts of Dael'Thaelas getting the better of them and killing them all for even thinking about killing him, which was what he needed right now. A good distraction.
After all, they had yet to be told the location on where they were attacking next and it was going to cost some lives that's for sure. Though that would have to wait until tomorrow when the messenger being sent from Dalaran had made the trip to them in the morning.
