Author's note: CHAPTER 100! After two years we've finally made it. As promised we are back to the present time. And it is at this point where I warn you that if you haven't read the post-credit scene… go do that like now. It is directly influencing this episode and the coming seasons. As for the random shutdown at the end of last time I don't quite know who caused that, must've been an interference of some kind.
Anyways we are onto the second arc of the series, the Time Warp Arc. I will do a synopsis here: Months after that fight with Hades the consequences of the Ema Skye from the future coming in contact with her younger self takes hold. In this madness and damage to the fabric of time multiple people and objects from the past and future are being transported to the Smash Island. With this comes many past faces, and maybe even old friends. But with it also comes great danger, our heroes will have to band together and fight to fix the timeline as defeated enemies from their past step into the present. Nothing too big is gonna happen this episode it's just gonna set things up.
All three main seasonal villains and some side villains will be ones that were defeated and more or less died in their respective games. I will not be going into who they are. Onto reviews, first one I have something to say to is Charmander17.
"Crap it's dimentio. He's back and that means trouble odds are he'll bring a bunch of reality warpers like flowy ,Jevil, fawful, majora. Good thing we have some reality warpers of our own like Marx, skull kid, and sans."
Dimentio huh, an intriguing guess. But only I know how this is going to turn out. And I can confirm other than your guess for Dimentio only one of those characters are planned to show up in the future. Next review is from Derick Lindsey. I had to shorten and alter the review a bit to things I did have responses to since this is a long one. Not complaining though I appreciate the detailed reviews like this.
"Well looks like female Morgan (no male sadly) has finally arrived to the mansion and thankfully it all went well and it didn't end up like a sketch from I love Lucy. I don't know what the blowtorch reference is. I'm intrigued to see a plot line on Person 5 Royal as well as the foreshadowing that took place here and it was nice to see Sumire I meant Kasumi cheer Ren up from Akechi's death (although he'll be back and as his glorious dickish self too my favorite version of him), and I love how Ryuji wasted 100 coins on a free arcade game (better hope Morgana doesn't find out he'll never let him hear the end of it). Hoo Boy more time travel shenanigans for our upcoming arc but 1st we need to celebrate 100 chapters next time what will the special occasion be about (I Don't know I ain't a mind reader I don't know what you got planned) and how convenient for Master Hand that Crazy bought a perfectly usable crib 17 years ago for this specific time although I did laugh at how he basically made a cage instead of a crib in fear of female Morgan escaping he must be watching to many cartoons although knowing how Female becomes whens she grows up who's to say she wasn't mischievous as a baby so maybe he was onto something."
Okay first off the reference. While it kinda ruins the joke a bit if explained it was a parody of that meme that went "Watchu got there?" "A smoothie" with something behind that person. The meme itself came from iCarly I believe. And yes we are having a Persona 5 Royal plotline after careful consideration from ultimateCCC's reviews (and a PM) from a while back I've decided that it's been long enough and it's about time we carry out the third semester plot. It won't happen right away, it's gonna be a bit before we get into it. But the story elements that happen in that story will happen on the Smash Island. And there's a certain someone I have to bring to the mansion in order for it to work. And this chapter 100 isn't necessarily a celebration of sorts, but I will plan a celebration episode when we reach 100 in-universe. Next review is from Generic Smash Bros Fan.
"Huh, Goombella made an appearance. I think she is the character that has appeared the least in the series."
Definitely not, but lack of appearances was the main reason behind me removing some residents as of this episode. Next review is from ultimateCCC.
"I wonder if Cadea is already aware of her greats-grandchild has been born even that far away?"
She has been told by Marth in between episodes and has visited. She's not in the mansion as of now though.
Now in between the last episode and now, another episode from the past has been rewritten.

Season 6 episode 1: From the Future
(January 14th, 2021)
Many months had passed since Morgan's birth and once again Halloween had come and gone. It was now the month of Thanksgiving for the mansion. And while it hasn't been anything like a year or longer many things still changed since our last visit to the mansion. For starters some residents had decided to return home for a more permanent period of time. Those included were Dixie Kong, Empoleon, Ethan, Caeda, Proto Man, as well as the temporary residents May Fey, Blue Mary, and Athena Asamiya.
Master Hand had made more structural changes to the fighter's building since April and now Robin and Lucina were sharing the space of two rooms in the building. Some moving had to be done, but not too much. The layout of the living room and dining room had both been changed and the old lecture room was removed due to the fact that it no longer had enough space in it to hold everyone. The auditorium would be taking that job now.
In fact in the living room right now were the siblings of Corrin and Kamui. The dragon prince and princess were in the process of getting the TV Master Hand finally decided to put it in the room on. The reason for the new TV was because the man of the mansion was well aware that the residents sometimes watched shows and stuff through their phones in the room. So he figure this to be more efficient.
"What kind of TV comes with two remotes," Kamui said as she held on of said remotes in her hand. Corrin was holding the other. After a few tries with it she popped open the back and rolled her eyes. "There aren't even batteries in this one."
"Maybe it's for something else," Corrin said, shrugging. Kamui shot him a non-amused glance. "Okay don't worry, we still have the other remote. So let's see what this bad boy can do." Corrin went ahead and pressed the power button, but nothing happened. He then popped the back open and saw batteries in it.
Kamui (Dragon Princess): We've been in this mansion for six years and we still haven't learned how to work a TV. Honestly though, maybe we're better off not knowing.
"Think these are just both the wrong remotes," Kamui asked her brother. Before he could answer static was heard by the TV. Both shot their heads at the TV but saw nothing on it. A longer bang was then heard and green lighting shot out below the TV.
"Uh, is that," Corrin began to say. He cut himself off though as the lightning continued and the once tiny rift began to widen and open up to reveal a time vortex. "Oh that's not good."
The two immediately ducked behind the couch as they felt a force of wind. "What did you do?!" Kamui shouted as Corrin. She grabbed the remote from his hands and began pressing the power button towards the time vortex.
"You think the remote caused this?!"
"It sounds like something Crazy Hand would do." Kamui wasn't really far off the marker with that assumption if that were the case.
The two kept watching the vortex. Eventually more lightning came forward and two individuals came out of it. Both of them were female. "Did they fall into a time vortex while traveling," Corrin asked.
Meanwhile Kamui went over to the intercom and pressed the button. "Master Hand, we have a bit of a situation in the living room."
"The remotes work Kamui, you just need to put batteries in one of them," Master Hand said with a bored tone.
"No I mean a time vortex opened up in the living room and two girls came out of it," Kamui retorted. There was then silence on the other end. "Master Hand?"
"I'm on my way," said the man of the mansion. The line then cut off.
"Sis, they're getting up," Corrin said. Kamui then rushed back to where her brother was, kneeling over the two. He was mostly checking to see if they were okay. "There are no noticeable injuries, but they may have fallen unconscious from shock."
"My head," said a strange robotic voice. The girl in the yellow suit and orange hair then looked up at the two looking over her. The girl then shot up off the floor in a defensive stance, "Okay who are you two? Did you bring us here?"
"Actually I think my question is why the heck did you two come barreling into the living room through a time vortex," Kamui retorted.
What she said was ignored though as the girl helped up the other one. "Are you okay Trucy?"
"Compared to what happens in my shows that's nothing," said the other girl named Trucy, who both Corrin and Kamui noted having a striking resemblance to someone else. This one had a blue top hat and magician stage clothes. The girl then looked around and a smile grew on her face. "Wait, I've been here before when I was younger! This is the Smash Mansion."
"The what," said the other girl. It seemed like she never heard of this place.
"Oh right you don't know, during a period of time during Daddy's disbarment we stayed here in this mansion. Daddy was friends with some others." Trucy then saw the dragon prince and princess in front of her and ended up hugging the two. "Corrin, Kamui! It's great to see you two again."
"Um…." Corrin gave a confused glance towards his sister before saying, "Sorry to be rude about this, but who are you?"
Trucy let go of the two immediately and was rather disheartened. "What! You don't recognize me? Oh no, I guess that green crack in midair might've been what Master Hand called a time vortex. What year is it?"
Both Corrin and Kamui had many questions at this point, but figured it was probably best to answer. "It's November 9th, 2020," Kamui answered.
Trucy was shocked and the other girl was as pale as a ghost. The robotic voice piped back up saying, "Say what!"
"Well this isn't good. I guess I may as well say it. It's me Trucy, from 2028," Trucy said to the two.
It was their turn to be shocked at this point. "Wait, Mr. Wright's adopted daughter Trucy," Corrin said in his own shock. "Well, you've grown."
"Did you just say you're from eight years in the future," said a voice at the doorway. The four heads turned to see Master Hand standing right there. And he did not look happy.
"Uh, hi Master Hand," Trucy nervously said.
Mewtwo (Genetic Pokemon): Remember what I said back in April? Yeah, please throw that statement out the window.
This didn't make the man of the mansion any happier as he stepped forward and slammed the door to the room closed. He then hit the intercom button saying, "Phoenix and Trucy Wright to the living room right now! And you two! Where and how did you fall into a time vortex?"
Mysterious Girl (?): Wait Mr. Wright is here too! Hang on, when those guys said we were in 2020. Does this mean I'm going to see a younger version of my boss?
Robotic Voice: Brain Overload…
Since October 1st there's been a new resident at the mansion. And frankly it was someone most residents weren't even expecting. Steve from the world of Minecraft was now currently in the game room sitting on the couch. He was rather mute and mostly emotionless, after awhile though some residents were able to pick up what he was thinking without him needing to do much.
One of these residents surprisingly enough was Pit. The angel captain was currently on the Switch playing Super Mario Galaxy with Steve watching. "Too bad you can't really play these due to your block like hands Steve," Pit said to the block man.
Steve did nothing but looked at Pit and blinked a couple times. Kirby was also on the couch next to Pit, and was also able to pick up on some things. "I guess if we could somehow make a controller that looks like it's from your world it could work," Kirby said.
Falco (The Wingman): Steve has been taking the whole change from his home world surprisingly well, according to those that can somehow understand him. There was one time though where he poured a water bucket on an actual fire we had in the arcade room.
Min Min (Ramen Bomber): The block water caused a quarter of the arcade machines to break and a lot of them had to get thrown out. At the moment, we no longer have games like Galaga or Donkey Kong here anymore.
"At least we were able to decorate your room so it looked like home at least," Pit said. Steve did nothing, but the angel could tell he was grateful for it. A question then popped up in Pit's head. "Hey Kirby, now that I think about it how many of us can understand him in our own way?"
"Um, well other than us I guess any mind readers, Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and anyone that was a silent protagonist themselves in a game," Kirby guessed. They then heard Steve munching on an apple. "Yeah it is getting close to lunch isn't it?"
Pit took out his phone to check the time, he then realized that despite his lessons he couldn't quite read yet and showed the phone to Kirby. After a quick nod from the pink puffball he said, "Yeah it's nearly time, may as well head to the dining room." Pit put the switch into sleep mode and the group of three left the room.
Meanwhile, back in the living room Trucy and the other girl were no on one couch while Master Hand was on the other. Corrin and Kamui both stood off to the side. "So let me get this straight," Master Hand said, "you both come from Los Angeles in the year 2028. You walked into a back alleyway where a green crack in midair opened up and pulled you two in. You then ended up here, today, eight years in the past." Trucy gave a nod. Master Hand then gave an exasperated sigh. "Looks like Ms. Skye's run-in with her future self is beginning to take effect."
"Is that really the case," Kamui asked.
"Nothing like this ever happened before so we can only assume here. These two ended up getting pulled from their time because the rift of a vortex opened up when they got close to it. If more of these show up in different places in the past or future we may end up seeing a lot more people coming here. And sending them back to their own time may not be safe."
"So we let them stay here for the time being until we can figure out how to fix the fabric of time," Corrin asked the man of the mansion.
"It's our only option really," Master Hand said. He then turned to the two. "Okay normally I don't do these willy-nilly but," Master Hand whipped out two envelopes and handed them to the two girls, "until we can figure out how to fix this time mess and get you two back you are official residents of the mansion. We will need your name though." He pointed towards the girl with the small robot on her neck.
She was on her feet in seconds, "Lo siento! I never did introduce myself did I? I'm Athena Cykes, defense attorney." She held out her hand, which Master Hand shook. "I work at the Wright Anything Agency in our time period."(1)
"Wright Anything Agency," said a confused voice. Athena and 2028 Trucy looked to see Phoenix and 2020 Trucy walking in. "Last I checked it was the Wright Talent Agency."
"Daddy," 2028 Trucy said. This garnered a look of shock and befuddlement from Phoenix. "Oops. I jumped the gun."
"Master Hand, what's going on," Phoenix cautiously said.
"Well, it would seem our actions in Seattle have come back to haunt us. These two were taken here from a time vortex opening up in 2028," Master Hand explained. He then gestured to the two. "So meet Athena Cykes, and your daughter eight years from now."
"That's me," 2020 Trucy questioned, partially hiding behind Phoenix.
Athena noticed this and beamed upon seeing the younger Trucy. "So cute," said the robotic voice around her heck. "Took the words right out of my head, Widget. You never told me you were that adorable as a child Trucy!"
"I just didn't think it was something worth bringing up," Trucy innocently said. Phoenix then stepped forward. "Oh, hi."
Phoenix crossed his arms before saying, "So you're my daughter eight years in the future." Trucy nodded, she was looking down. As if she was afraid of what he was going to say. Phoenix then let himself chuckle. "You really have become what you've set out to be. I can tell. I may not be the father you know, but I'm proud Trucy." Phoenix then felt himself engulfed in a hug from Trucy.
Phoenix (Former Ace Attorney): Yes this is gonna take some getting used to.
"I'll need to address this with the rest of the mansion today. You all go get lunch, afterwards I'll hold a briefing in the auditorium," Master Hand said before teleporting away.
Lunch time at the mansion is not really something that is made in the kitchen. It is usually just a two hour block where the resident can just get whatever they want and eat in the dining hall. A good portion of the residents were in the dining hall right now for their own lunches. Two in particular were Ryuji Sakamoto and Ann Takamaki. Both phantom thieves were discussing something the former had discovered back in April.
"Wait, the metaverse app showed up on your phone for a couple seconds before disappearing again," Ann asked Ryuji, shocked. When her friend nodded she asked, "Why did you keep quiet for so long."
"Because after it didn't pop back up for a week I decided it was my mind playing tricks on me," Ryuji said as the two sat down at the table. The delinquent then pulled out his phone and showed it to Ann. "And just today it showed up again."
Ann looked into it and noticed indeed the metaverse app was on Ryuji's phone for some strange reason. "That's very weird. Let me check my phone." Ann put Ryuji's phone down and reached for her own, once she was past the lock screen she looked through and noticed it. "No way! It's on me too!"
"For real," Ryuji almost shouted, but Ann quickly covered his mouth. "What could this mean?" Ryuji looked down as the app fizzled off his screen again. "Oh, gone again."
Ann noticed it was gone on her phone too. "I'm not sure what this could mean, but one thing's clear. We're not done with the metaverse yet," she said.
"Think we should tell the others," Ryuji suggested.
Ann shook her head. "We should at least ask if they noticed anything different from before. If not then we can keep this between us for the time being and investigate it. For now though we should have our lunch."
Ann Takamaki (The Model): I won't deny Ryuji's discovery on this has me worried. We destroyed the metaverse years ago, but for it to just pop-up like this. What could possibly be going on.
Master Hand: The metaverse app reappearing? I have nothing to do with that, and last I check Crazy Hand didn't put a metaverse in here. Though since we're on the topic of the phantom thieves there is someone I plan on bringing in soon.
"It's a bit annoying we have to make some of the food like this for Steve, but I guess it's to be expected," Palutena said. Pit, Kirby, and Steve were all in the kitchen right now along with Cilan. The three were waiting on the steak that was a part of Steve's lunch.
"It was pretty interesting to learn how to make one though," Cilan said as he eventually got the steak off the stove and handed it over to Steve. Who took it right away. "Enjoy."
"Thanks Cilan, Lady Palutena," Pit said. Steve nodded too before stepping out into the dining hall. Pit then noticed something else in the kitchen and pointed at it asking, "What's that?"
"Oh that is meant to be food for Morgan. She's a newborn and can't quite have the same food as everyone here in the mansion quite yet," Palutena stated. Kawasaki then came into the kitchen at that moment, making the goddess of light a bit ticked. "And where were you when it came to getting lunch ready!"
Kawasaki cowered a bit. "Sorry for being late, but I was distracted trying to figure out what this is," said the chef. He went ahead and laid it out for Palutena, Cilan, Pit, and Kirby to look at. "What do you guys think."
Pit seemed to be staring at it intently and Cilan was looking on with anticipation of the angel. Pit then gave a defeated sigh before saying, "Nope, still can't read."
Rolling his eyes Kirby went ahead and looked at it himself. "Seems like an announcement from Master Hand of some sort," Kirby said. "Saying there's something that needs to be addressed."
Micaiah (Princess of Dawn): I've seen the flyer for the address, I have no clue as to what it could be about though.
Ike (Radiant Hero): If you ask me this may be another villain alert Master hand learned about today, or new residents.
"We got the seventh DLC fighter here last month. There's no way we already have a trailer for the next one," Cilan said. He then looked towards the bottom of the paper and tapped the text in question. "It says that it concerns recent developments and that everyone needs to get to the auditorium after lunch."
"What recent developments," Palutena questioned. "Other than Steve coming to the mansion nothing else has really happened. I for one am glad we have a break from constantly fighting our enemies."
"Think Sora may have found a way out of that Shibuya copy world," Pit suggested, coming up with his own meaning for the meeting.
"It's not November 13th(2) yet so maybe not get hopes up." Palutena then shut off the stove and got the pan into the sink. "Lunch is nearly over anyway so we may as well find a good seat in the auditorium while we can."
"The auditorium can fit a lot of people though, more that's in this mansion," Cilan said, not seeing much of a problem with this. The last time he was in that room was the competition Starfox and Starwolf found themselves in.
"Yet never enough," Palutena simply stated before leaving the kitchen. Pit decided to follow after her to get a seat in the auditorium too.
"Anything weird going on with my phone," Haru asked Ann and Ryuji as the three walked into the auditorium. Lunch was over and most of the residents were here now. "I don't think anything has happened recently, why do you two ask?"
Coming up with a quick lie Ryuji said, "Well I think they were doing work on the Wi-Fi here. My phone felt like it was going slower than normal and I wanted to check to see if it wasn't just me." While not the best lie Haru seems to have bought that one and nodded. The three then sate down with the rest of their friends. "What do you guys think this is about."
"Could be about anything really," Morgana piped up from Joker's backpack. His head poking out as usual. "If I had to place bets though definitely new residents."
"Been awhile since anyone's new has come to the mansion. Unless we count Steve," Makoto said.
"The last large influx was during the interviews last year," Futaba replied. The girl was on her phone while waiting for Master Hand to arrive.
And that would happen as the man of the mansion walked on stage and made a gesture for everyone to quiet down. Once the microphone he was holding was turned on he said, "I'm sure you're all wondering why I've called you all here today. And no, it's not because we have new residents. Though that will be soon."
"The reason you're all here right now pertains to what happened in April," Mewtwo stated., teleporting on stage. It then turned to Master Hand and nodded towards the projector. Mario went ahead and turned it on. "We retrieved this footage from the Halberd's surveillance."
The video in question clearly showed the two versions of Ema Skye coming across each other before Master Hand swooped in and sent the older one back to the future. "I'm sure you're all curious as to why this comes up now after many months. Well it's because the fabric of time itself has started to let loose."
"Does this have to do with that small rift we found in the living room back in April," Shantae asked. She was one of the few there when that was first discovered.
"As a matter of fact yes," Master Hand said, taking over. "Earlier today about fifteen minutes before lunch, Corrin and Kamui were figuring out how to turn on the new TV when that rift opened up into a time vortex. This time it spat out two people from the future into our time. I've felt like something was wrong with the space-time continuum but that feeling has now increased. I feel like this vortex will not be the last one to show up and that more are to come. So I'm putting in a bit of an order.
Since this world is in a gray area in the multiverse any of not most vortexes that pull things from different points in time will open up here on the island. As such it is not safe to send things back to where they've gone all willy-nilly without posing some serious risks. And as such I've decided that should anyone fall out of these vortexes we will make them permanent residents until a time comes when we can safely return them home."
This caused quite a bit of chatter, time vortexes opening up across the timeline? It was sure to cause a lot of problems. Mario decided to let out a whistle to get everyone quiet for another moment. "Listen everyone I know-a this looks bad, but-a we can not-a panic. The best-a thing we can-a do is investigate this-a matter further and see if there's a solution."
"Thank you Mario. For now from that first vortex about two young ladies came out of it. And so I'm gonna need to introduce them for all of you. These two come from Los Angeles in the year 2028. Say hello to Athena Cykes and Trucy Wright."
The two walked into view, some residents were mostly shocked to see Trucy all grown up. The present one having been in the mansion for over a year now. Said magician then did her own words. "Hey everyone! Wow this brings back a lot of memories. Though I remember this place being bigger," Trucy had said.
"To be fair you're a bit shorter at this point of time," Athena said gesturing over to 2020 Trucy.
Richter (The descendant): Time vortexes opening up. Hey Simon, think we'll end up seeing anyone from our bloodline?
Simon (The ancestor): Oh no way. That would be too hard to explain to them.
Lilina (Delightful Noble): From the past? It makes me hope…*shakes head* no, you promised you would move on from that Lilina!
Cloud (ex-SOLDIER): There's most likely a lot of us right now thinking over who we could end up seeing because of this. And it may end up giving them false hope. I'll be going forward without getting my own hopes up.
"Now, I understand this could be thrilling. To see what you may look like in the future, or maybe old allies long thought dead. But this also presents great danger. Not only is the fabric of time beginning to fall apart, but there are also villains. Ones that could easily come and attack the island. Both from our past and from our future. Going forward I want any potential vortex activity reported to me straight away. That is all." With that said Master Hand left the stage and the residents to think on this.
Fox and Wolf were walking down the hall sometime after the meeting had concluded. The two have been getting on more friendlier terms ever since the competition, but still had the rivalry there. As they two were walking Fox decided to ask, "Oh hey isn't your crew getting added to the mansion roster soon?"
"Sent the request last week, Master Hand said he would look it over when he can," Wolf said. The leader of Starwolf then looked ahead. "Time vortexes," he said to himself, "we never get a break huh?"
"Guess not," Fox said. "Oh hey, hard to believe there's now a Trucy from eight years in the future here in the mansion huh. I wonder if she remembers you as well as her present self does."
"Fox, it's probably been god knows how long since she was at the mansion in her time. She most likely forgot about me," Wolf said. The two then turned into the gaming room. "Besides she seems to have the personality to be able to make friends with a lot of people."
"That I can't argue with, but you may want to look behind you," Fox said with a smirk.
Wolf was confused and turned around, only to be engulfed in a hug. "Gah! What is the meaning of this?! Let me go!"
"I forgot how grouchy you were, Wolf," 2028 Trucy had said, revealing herself to be the hugger. Much to Wolf's own shock. "It's still so good to see you again."
"Given how attached you were to me I'm surprised you didn't visit the mansion after your initial leave in the future," Wolf had grumbled.
"Actually the last time you visited was 2025, but you went missing sometime after that according to one of your teammates. They have yet to find you at my point in time." It was at that point Trucy let go of the mercenary leader. "So it's been awhile for me."
Wolf, while still a bit flabbergasted by the hug cleared his throat. "Well sorry to hear that kid. Though if I went missing it was probably this dolt's fault." He pointed right at Fox.
"Hey, you attempted to kill me so many times I lost count," Fox retorted. Fox then got an idea and decided to tease Wolf saying, "You know with how you say Wolf visited I'm surprised you don't think of him as an uncle of sorts."
Wolf was about to lunge at Fox when Trucy had said, "Someone from his crew did, Leon I believe. Let's just say he does not like being called that in front of others." Well now Wolf knows not to bring Leon with him to Los Angeles five years from now.
"Anyways, kid, how has settling back into the mansion been, can't imagine things are that different for you," Wolf said to Trucy.
"Oh it was pretty easy. They put me on the same floor as daddy too."
Wolf nodded along with that. Soon enough a lightbulb went off in his head. "Now that I think about it. If this is happening now then you think you have memories of it happening before when you were younger."
Trucy shook her head at that. "It would seem too easy, but no. I have no memories of that kind of thing, so whatever happened really set things on a course."
"Well that's another thing to worry about,' Fox said. If Trucy didn't remember anything like this happening then they really have screwed up the flow of time.
Since August both Byleth and Blythe have finished their respective storylines in their home worlds(3). The two decided that they would talk about the first chance they got, that chance was right now. They were in the courtyard outside, with tea of course. "So, first and foremost. Your hair is back to normal," Blythe said to her male counterpart. And it was true, Byleth's hair no longer indicated that of the progenitor god, instead it's just like it was back in March earlier in the year.
"Yeah," Byleth simply stated. He took a sip from the tea the two had out before continuing. "After Edelgard and I ended up killing Rhea I legitimately died for a few seconds. And well in that moment the crest stone in my heart faded away. And…."
Blythe was rather shocked by the news of them killing Rhea, but knew it was a consequence of siding with Edelgard. Regardless she asked, "And what?"
"...My actual heart started beating for the first time," Byleth said. "I don't know how to describe it but it felt like a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders when I opened my eyes again." Blythe could see a hint of a smile on him.
"So overall, even through the amount of bloodshed. Would you consider that your choices were worth it?"
"I wasn't sure at first, but I reflected over the things I finally learned. Such as Edelgard's motive, turns out she was taken by Those That Slither in the Dark when she was younger. He along with Lysithea at some point were both experimented on. Because of what they did not only was her hair now white, she had two crests, and a shortened lifespan. She didn't know how long she would have to see her plans through so she felt war was the only way."
Blythe thought over the information. It was true she knew how Lysithea had two crests. Last she checked in her world Claude still hasn't found a way to undo it. She was happy with Cyril for the time being. "Well at least I can get closure on that, anything else?"
"No, nothing really. But Rhea became rather angry focusing on only retrieving the crest stone in my heart. Because of it she ended up falling down a dark path," Byleth stated. Blythe felt herself go in shock when he said. "When we confronted her in Fhirdiad, she ordered the knights to set fire to the area before the battle started. So given the circumstances, I may never be able to wield the sword again, but I think it may have been worth it."
"As long as you feel like you made the right choice all I can do is accept that," Blythe said. She then decided to tell her end. "Things were pretty different for us though. Rhea told Claude, father, and I the truth outright."
"I forgot father was somehow alive in your timeline. What did she say?"
"Other than confessing that she was the Immaculate One and Seiros herself. She told us she had been hoping to bring her mother, who I assume to be Sothis, back to life by planting the crest stone in us. We housed her consciousness but overall her plan never really came into fruition. And revealed that she transferred the crest stone from our mother to us when we were born.
Byleth was silent for a bit after that "Well I think you may have only solidified my worth it feeling by telling me that," he said. To which Blythe actually had a slight giggle for. "Seriously how did father react to that?"
"He was not happy in the slightest, literally would've been a one-sided screaming match if a soldier didn't come and tell us that Nemesis and the 10 elites had been resurrected."
"WHAT?!"
"Yep, let's say Thales was planning on something in Shambala and we played right into his hands. We met Nemesis in battle and managed to defeat him though. They pushed their way to Garreg Mach pretty easily though. While Lorenz's father was fine, Hilda's brother was gravely injured." Blythe recalled these events with a sad smile on her face. Hilda really was worried about her brother after that happened.
"I guess things were hectic for the both of us," Byleth said. He then remembered something else as he looked down at the ring on his finger. The one Jeralt had given him. He noticed his female counterpart wasn't wearing it. "You remember the ring father gave us right?"
"Oh right! That! He gave it to me before we attacked Enbarr; he said we were nearing the end of our campaign. He said to one day give it to someone I loved. It was a bit of thought but in the end, I chose Claude. No matter what happened we were always together, every step of the way.' Blythe then noticed Byleth was wearing the ring himself. "Did you ever chose or…"
"Well, even if I considered my path to be worth it in the end, I still made decisions I'm not proud of. So I've decided to live here at the mansion full-time. As for love, there was no one I truly could imagine living my life with."
"I'm sure you'll find someone one day," Blythe said to Byleth.
Blythe (Proven Professor): I'm glad we were able to put that hate behind the both of us after April. I've talked with Master Hand on potentially bringing some of my students here one day. He says to maybe wait though due to the number of people we have from our game series already here.
"Thank you for helping me find my way around Lyn," Athena said to Lyn as the two walked into the invite residential building. The young defense attorney had split up from Trucy and had gotten lost within the main building's second floor.
"No problem, always a good deed to show a new resident around," Lyn said as the two stopped in the nearby kitchen. "So I've been curious, how do you know Mr. Wright and Trucy in your time?"
Athena's face seemed to go solemn for a bit before saying, "It's a very long story, especially my first year at the agency."
"Oh if it's hard for you to speak about then you don't need to tell me. Though where do you think you would be around this point of time." Lyn went ahead and opened the fridge, looking to see if there were any snacks in there. She then closed it seeing there was nothing of interest in there. "We really need to stock these fridges."
"Um, well around now I would probably be mourning my mother," Athena said. Lyn stopped what she was doing and looked at Athena in shock. "She was killed this year. In October." Widget had turned to a dark blue as tears threatened to spill. "And someone I consider to be a great friend of mine is in jail because of it."
"Athena you don't… have to tell me. I'm sorry for asking those questions. I had no idea your past was like this," Lyn said. She then noticed Athena still seemed sad. "You've been through a lot even in your time haven't you."
"A lot happened yeah," Athena said. "I would say things changed for the better but right now another friend of mine and abroad and well there's a bit of a void. Things don't feel the same without him."
"Well, I'm sure you'll be able to settle into the mansion just fine. Trust me we've had people here before that have had terrible pasts. Just ask Samus."
Samus (Galactic Bounty Hunter): Do not ask me this question ever again. *gets up and leave*
Athena nodded. "Thanks Lyn. Now uh where am I staying." Lyn nodded and began to lead Athena up to the second floor.
Ann and Ryuji have now asked nearly every single phantom thief and nothing from all ends. The final person they had to ask was Joker, the very leader. Of all people he would most definitely be the one to have the app show up on his phone. They two eventually managed to track him down, he was in the lounge sitting on a couch.
After deciding who was going to ask Ann walked over. "Hey Akira mind if I ask you a quick question," she asked.
"Sure what's up," Joker said to the model. The look on Ann's face was telling him something was up.
"Have you noticed anything out of the ordinary with your phone recently," Ann asked as she sat down on the couch. She noticed Joker's confused look, he was surprised she was the kind of person asking this question. "Ryuji is most likely paranoid again but he's not letting it go."
Ryuji (The Delinquent): I get why she has to pin me like that. Still hurts though.
Joker pulled out his own and phone and flipped through the apps on it. "Other than it not charging last night for some reason nothing is out of the ordinary on here." He then looked back at Ann. "You may want to tell Ryuji that it's just him."
"Will do Akira, thanks," Ann said before leaving. Once she was outside the lounge she turned right over to Ryuji and shook her head. "Even he hasn't noticed anything. So we're gonna have to look into this ourselves for the time being."
"Ah man, even he doesn't notice it," Ryuji said. He then crossed his arms before saying, "So what're we supposed to do?"
"I think our first step is maybe looking into what was added on in Royal. Since it's been made clear to use there's an eighth palace in that one," Ann said. Once Ryuji was in agreement the two walked away to get to talking.
Meanwhile with Joker he was still on his phone as he was doing another check just in case. In the final section of apps though he felt his eyes widen as he saw the metaverse app fizzle in for a few seconds before disappearing. "What in the…" was all he could say.
Joker (Leader of the Phantom Thieves): I guess our work may not be done just yet.
Master Hand was currently getting some paperwork filled out. He had been mainly coming up with a rule list that would involve anyone that showed up from the past or future. As he was putting down finishing touches Phoenix walked into the office. "Ah, Phoenix Wright! What can I do for you?"
"Nothing much, I just wanted to tell you that Athena and Trucy have settled into the mansion," Phoenix said. He then sat down in the chair across from Master Hand's desk. "I also want to talk about what our plan for dealing with this is. We can't keep them here forever."
"I know that, but we can't guarantee everything will be magically fixed if we sent them back to where they came from," Master Hand stated. "I will continue to look into it, but it may take me a long time before I ever find the solution, for all we know things could be like this for quite awhile."
Phoenix leaned back in the chair. "Is there gonna be a rule that forbids anyone from telling others of their future? I feel like that should be something."
"With certain things that are acceptable, yes, that will be a rule," Master Hand said. And this means 2028 Trucy has already violated by telling Wolf he goes missing somehow in five years. "All we can do is pack it in for the long haul and hope things don't escalate."
Marth (Hero-King): Am I confident we can figure the time travel trouble out? Not very much I will admit, but we have to do what we can or there won't be any time for anyone. Who knows what this kind of imbalance could bring.
Cloud was once again outside by himself, this time out in the courtyard. The feeling he had back in April had returned and once again he was keeping his distance. That wish for distance would be interrupted once again as Tifa approached him. "Are you gonna sit by the fountain all day Cloud," she had, disappointed.
"Sorry. Just you know," was all Cloud could say. Tifa sighed as she sat down next to Cloud. "I already had this feeling like something wasn't right back in April and now it's only escalated today."
"I get it. I'll admit myself to think that the very fabric of time is coming loose is very concerning," Tifa said. She then looked out towards the main building. "We lost a lot of friends in our journey. And I don't want to think of what could happen if he returns."
"I don't want to either. He already took Aerith, I don't want him to take anymore of my friends," Cloud said.
"Oh so I'm still a friend huh, those coffee outings didn't mean anything," Tifa teased.
"In my defense I wouldn't really count those as actual dates," Cloud shot back. To which Tifa chuckled at. The ex-SOLDIER then felt his worrisome feeling go away and stood up. "Either way dinner is gonna be served soon. May as well head insi- gnrk!" Cloud felt himself clutch his head as a terrible ringing was heard. The world going static around him.
"Cloud! Are you okay," Tifa said in shock. She grabbed his shoulder and felt the ringing in her head too. "Agh! The...last time this happened," Tifa began to say in fear. Something then caught both of their eyes. The two watched as a black feather slowly floated down to the ground. With it disintegrating the second it touched the concrete. "Oh no…"
"I'm coming Cloud…Tifa..." A voice could be heard saying in both their heads. It only escalated the impending fear, and Cloud could only say one thing in his shock.
"Sephiroth…"
To Be Continued…
Final Fantasy VII Remake arc begins next episode.
(1) If anyone's wondering… yes, part of this plot is an excuse to get characters in that I wouldn't normally bring in otherwise. Some characters I wouldn't bring in because they were either dead, died in their game, or haven't become relevant yet in a respective game's timeline wise. While this is of course a plan for the arc this is gonna give me a chance to get some new characters in here.
(2) The Day Melody of Memory is to be released. I will be getting it so you will learn the outcome soon enough.
(3) Fire Emblem: Three Houses is going to be playing a big part in Season 7. So there will be no spoiler warning when it comes to this series, especially since it's been out for a year now.
