After covering a morning shift for a trainer in the morning, Heath headed up to Angelo's, knowing Brax was working for a few days as he had Brody on trial for the chefs job. He heard there had been a couple clashes between them and wanted to check it out, more for his own amusement than anything else.

"How's the newbie doing?" He asks as he sits at the bar opposite his brother.

"He doesn't work here, it's just a trial." Brax lightly glares, not impressed with his trial employees antics.

"What's got you in such a mood today?" Heath asks, trying not to smile.

"Nothing." Brax mutters, grabbing the books from the side. "There's just some things a trial chef shouldn't try and do." He says, staring at Brody as he walks out from the kitchen.

"Hey, I've got another idea I'd like to propose to you." Brody says, completely unaware Brax was getting annoyed with him suggesting things all the time, even though he had been there two days already and hadn't stopped.

"I'm not interested in any more suggestions. You're just on trial." Brax says.

"Nah, let's hear it." Heath says, Brody looking over at him. "I'm his brother by the way, Heath."

"Right. Well I've been looking over the menu and I really think it could be updated. People want more options these days, more imagination within the dishes." Brody says.

"Not a chance." Brax instantly says.

"You haven't even thought about it." Brody lightly frowns. "I could put together some trial dishes for you to try and consider putting on a new menu."

"Now that sounds like a great idea. How about we do it for lunch, invite our wives along as well? They love a good food tasting." Heath says, lightly smirking at Brax who shakes his head.

"Great, I'll get started." Brody grins, walking back into the kitchen.

"You're dead." Brax glares at his brother.

"What's wrong with changing the menu up a little?" Heath asks.

"There's nothing wrong with the one I've got now."

"Apart from it hasn't been changed for years and is looking a bit boring now. Times have changed and people want more options now. If you don't do something that new Italian in the city could start stealing more of your customers." Heath says, pulling his phone out. "I'm going to let the girls know about it so they can see if one of the boys can babysit. You'll see this will do Angelo's some good and maybe get you some more customers." He says, walking out onto the balcony where it was quieter to call Bianca.

Brax thought about it while Heath was calling his wife, knowing that maybe things did need to be updated around the restaurant. Since Heath had moved out and then Casey getting married and travelling, he had started hating things changing. Ricky had noticed it a couple times but he had put it down to other things so she wouldn't question him over it.

"They'll be here soon." Heath says, breaking Brax from his thoughts.

"Who's got the kids?" Brax asks.

"Casey and Kyle. Denny was going to join them for a bit before her shift." Heath replies.

"You don't make any more decisions about this restaurant. I'm the owner, not you." Brax says.

"Why're you so against it?" Heath asks. "This could be good for this place."

"I'm not against it, just back off." Brax moans, walking into storeroom to do the stocktake before the girls arrived.

"How'd you recon it's going at Angelo's? They should be pretty much done with the trial dishes by now" Casey smirks as he bounces Emilia on his knee, smiling as she giggles.

"I'm surprised it's going at all." Kyle says. "It took ages for me to convince Brax of some small changes when I was manager, this is the whole menu by a trial chef!"

"Yeah that's true." Casey nods. "But he's got Ricky, Bianca and Heath there, so he can't really turn it down on the spot if they think it's good."

"He'll just pretend to think it over and then say it's not happening. I've seen it all before remember? All I suggested was a couple decor changes and he refused."

"You got your way in the end though." Casey shrugs.

"Yeah, because Ricky agreed that it would attract more people in, which it did." Kyle says. "I think some new dishes on the menu would be good. Tori said Brody's a great chef and he worked in some high end restaurants when they lived in a city up the coast. We'll have to see what the girls think, Ricky will have her say with Brax." He smirks.

"I never thought I'd see the day Brax would take orders from someone else." Casey laughs.

"Guess he really loves her." Kyle says. "But he's not the only one who's relationship is run by a wife."

"Bianca has always had control over Heath, nothing there is new." Casey comments.

"I wasn't talking about Heath!" Kyle laughs.

"Well I agree with you, Kyle." Denny grins. "There's nothing wrong with us women wearing the trousers."

"You don't wear the trousers in this marriage." Casey scoffs.

"Don't I?" Denny raises an eyebrow.

"Admit it, Case, you'll never wear the trousers." Kyle smirks.

"I can't wait for the day you find a girl you want to marry. You're too soppy when it comes to love." Casey says.

"There's nothing wrong with a guy who's romantic. In another life I think we would have been perfect together." Denny jokes.

"Yeah, okay." Casey shakes his head, smiling at her.

"Still time Den." Kyle says, laughing as Casey walks over to him.

"Good try mate, she's too in love with me." Casey grins. "That's why we're trying to have a kid."

"You told them?" Denny exclaims.

"Ah…" Casey trails off, forgetting he didn't tell her. "Kyle's the only one I told, he's promised not to tell anyone else."

"You better not Braxton." Denny warns him.

"And what would you do if I did?" Kyle challenges.

"You really want to find out?" Denny asks.

"Nah, your secrets safe with me." Kyle smiles. "I've seen you both when you've looked after Lillie for me, you'd be great parents."

"You think so?"

"I know so. You can't be any worse than me because you're actually planning this out." Kyle says.

"You're not bad at being a parent, you just didn't have time to prepare. That kid is so lucky having you as a dad." Denny says, smiling at Lillie in his arms. "You've done really well with her and I know you'll continue doing well." She says, hearing voices coming up the path.

"Hey." Ricky smiles as she walks through the door with Brax, Bianca and Heath.

"How'd it go?" Casey asks.

"Brody has some skills. The food tasted amazing!" Bianca says.

"Yeah, wasn't too bad. Think he's going somewhere with the suggestions he has for a new menu." Heath says, smirking over at Brax. "When are you going to put the new menu into place?"

"It's not happening." Brax says as he takes Emilia from Casey as he felt like he hadn't seen her properly for a while.

"Why not?" Kyle asks, briefly glancing over at Ricky. "It could help bring in more customers over summer and then you could maybe think about improving some stuff."

"It ain't happening, so drop it." Brax says. "He's on trial to replace the current chef we have, not to think he's the boss and make changes to my restaurant. If you have any problems with that, then forget them."

"Yeah, alright." Kyle says, lightly smiling over at Heath and Ricky.

"I'm taking Emilia out, you coming?" Brax asks Ricky.

"Sure, we could talk about some stuff." Ricky says as they head into the flat.

"So how good was the food?" Denny asks.

"It was so good but someone wasn't so keen on making it permanent." Bianca says.

"Brax will come around to it eventually. Ricky will make sure of it." Heath says, his brothers agreeing with him.
