Chapter 65: Magic and Stars

KNOWHERE

Something was different; that was as much as Charmcaster could describe it. The light the Star Sapphire shone was something she wasn't familiar with, there were certain similarities to Gwen's power, but there was something more to it.

Even from a distance, she felt something inside her react to the light, something in her chest longing for something else.

She saw Gwen crystalized, she didn't like that, and Charmcaster started casting a spell shooting herself into the air above.

"Let her go!" Charmcaster yelled, "Merchucus Verditis!"

Energy shot out of her hand, striking Star Sapphire; catching her by surprise, she dropped Gwen. Charmcaster flew to Gwen's side, and with another spell, started to slow her descent.

Star Sapphire watched for a moment, "I see,"

She decided to move on, for now, the battle needed to be fought, and the stakes were not something she could ignore. There was a lot of love in her heart; Gwen could be a powerful Star Sapphire if given a chance.

Only time would tell if there would be a chance to save her.

As they landed on the ground safely, Charmcaster started to blast away at the crystal. "Come on, Gwen! We need you! I need you! I'm barely holding it together; I can't- I can't do this alone."

One more blast of energy, the crystal started to shatter, and she gasped.

Gwen's eyes came into focus; her mind flooded with visions the crystal gave her; she looked up and saw a worried Charmcaster over her. "Are you okay?"

Gwen tried to steady her breathing, "Yeah, I'm…. Fine. Just-"

"Good, we still have trouble."

The villains continued to attacks, Metallo, a half-man half-robot, charged at them. Baymax grabbed him, grappling him.

"You think you're enough to stop me? Think again." Metallo glared, his chest opened up, revealing a bright green and radioactive stone. "You might not be a Kryptonian, but the radiation will kill you."

Energy focused through the stone blasted out, hitting Baymax.

"True," Baymax admitted, his hologram disguise falling away to reveal his robot form. "but I'm not particularly worried about radiation."

Baymax head-butted the cyborg and quickly shoved his hand in his chest. Baymax pulled the chest covering, folding it over the stone.

Metallo hissed, he was cut off from the stone, his power levels went down, and he went into stasis mode.

Woodhouse, Alexis' robot, rushed into battle; he stomped onto Ant-Man, who had just shrunk. Instead of hearing a squishing sound, he heard a beep, and he found a figure around him. Scott decided to go big; Woodhouse fit into his now giant hand.

"What? Put me down!"

"If you say so," Scott hurled Woodhouse at a nearby building where he blew up.

The robotic head tumbled to the ground, and with a tired sigh, "Not again,"

Nebula spoke on the comms, "Scott, while we distract them, get into the museum and disable the machine."

"Gotcha!" Scott shrank down to the size of a bug and ran towards the entrance.

Peridot jumped onto Alexis mech suit.

Alexis only responded, "Get off you, gremlin!"

Nebula opened fire on the suit the second that Alexis tossed off the Gem. They needed to keep them distracted until Scott got inside.

Ant-Man made it inside without too much trouble, inside looked as badly burned and wrecked as the outside had. He didn't see anyone there, just a bunch of tanks. As he walked further inside, he found a large buzzing machine. He paused for a second; he noticed two tanks by the machine filled with purple starfish with a single blinking eye in the middle. Scott brushed it off, thinking it was just a weird alien pet. He went to the machine to see if there was some way to shut it off; he wondered if he could shrink it and crushed it.

It wasn't a complicated plan; the machine was encased, so not much he could do directly. There were no controls; it must have been turned on remotely, he wouldn't be surprised if the girl had the controls in her suit.

Before he could do anything, he found something hitting him. Looking down at his body, he found those starfish crawling out of the tanks and crawling up his body. His body became stiff, and he felt something in his mind.

"Scott," A distorted voice was heard but in his head.

Scott found his hand moving against his will, setting the controls to enlarge.

From behind the machine, a giant starfish emerged, its eye staring right at Scott.

"Press the Button Scott."

Scott tried to resist, but he couldn't even fight off the starfish on him.

He pressed the button.

The other outside heard a rumbling as the building broke apart, and Scott grew out of it. The giant starfish jumped on his chest as Scott grew and rest on it. Starro the Conquerer took over; the smaller fish climbed into his hands, which he tossed at the others.

Baymax was unaffected by the Starro spores; when one tried to get Hiro, he protected the boy.

Nebula avoided having one of the smaller Starro fall on her face with her agility skills.

Carapace blocked the spore with his shield; Rose had the same idea; Peridot used the trash lid she floated on to stop them.

"Get off!" Peridot yelled at a spore on her foot, kicking it away. Near By Pegasus and Rena Rogue walked towards them with the spores sitting on their faces.

"Alya? Carapace gasped.

Charmcaster felt the Starro spores rain down on them and used her flying spell to fly her up again. Most of the spores fell off, and she quickly pulled off the ones that didn't. "Get off me!"

She saw her mistake, she reacted without thinking, and the Starros consumed Gwen, but then there was hope as Gwen light illuminated from them, and in a blast, they flew off. Gwen flew into the air and reached her.

"Gwen!"

Charmcaster was blasted out of the air and hurled to the ground.

Looking up, she saw a starfish on Gwen's face.

KAMAR-TAJ

Sargon and the Wizard decided to flee, having missed the last trick from the Queen of Fables. They figured what the hell, they were far from the most powerful. Why did they need to get hurt at this point? They fled, and as soon as they stepped out of the temple boundaries, they found a magical trap ignite beneath them. It was a magical trap that Zora set up in case any of their enemies tried to escape. Both were hit with a paralytic spell, their bodies froze, and they fell to the ground.

Rhodey had been put in charge of the group, and his experience in wars had taught him they couldn't be prepared enough. That why he agreed to the traps. That's why he suggested Magik try to get the monks to help and reinforcements. That's why he and Hayley covered them from the sky. He was trying to get all the angles he could. Still, he couldn't expect a fairy tale book to take over the temple ground and trap most of their people in a forest.

Magik was one of the few to avoid this fate thanks to her sword that sliced through magic.

The others were Touma, Honey Lemon, and GoGo. When the threes started to pop up, he pushed the girls behind him and held out his hand. It didn't stop the spell, but it didn't pull them in. Right now, they were dealing with the one villain that didn't get pulled in.

Queen Bee ordered the Monk's under her control to attack everyone.

Honey Lemon pulled out gas grenades from her purse, tossing them around to cause a cover. Touma didn't like this part of the plan; GoGo was princess carrying him. It made sense; this was the easiest way to carry him, especially after their impromptu last few rides. It didn't help that GoGo was a rather attractive girl. Touma held out his right hand as GoGo ran them around. His right hand was slapping the min control monks. With a mere touch, the psychic spell the Queen Bee hand on them faded away. The smoke made it hard for her to beat on the speedy girl and spiky-haired boy. Before the Queen could even focus, she found a sped up punch slamming into her face. Queen Bee was punched hard enough to slam her into a tree; she was knocked out.

Whatever monks were still under her control snapped out of it.

"Loving that right hand of yours!" Honey Lemon almost sang as she reached them.

Touma was a bit dizzy after going that fast.

"The temple is secure," Wong reached them before he looked at the forest, "For the most part."

Magik arrived in a portal, "That just leaves the forest."

GoGo pointed out, "We have an anti-magic fist and an anti-magic sword."

Magik and Touma took it as their cue, Touma punched the tree, and Illyana swung at one. Two trees vanished, and nothing else happened.

Touma sighed, annoyed, "Yeah, I've had this problem before."

GoGo smiled teasingly, "Performance issues? You don't look like a guy who would have that sort of problem."

Illyana got a good chuckle from that.

Touma blushed and pushed past that, "No, it's- Magic! Strong magic doesn't get work the same. If something keeps powering it, me touching it doesn't do anything. It might take a tree, but if I don't touch the source of the power, I can't do anything to it."

"The Book," Illyana wagered, "if you want to destroy it, you will need to go into the forest. That's where the woman went with it."

Touma touched another tree, and it vanished with that familiar glass shattering sound.

Illyana mused out loud, "You could make a path; if you go, you could get the book and destroy its' power."

"And, what will you do?" Touma asked her.

"Both sides got taken into the forest; if the path lets the enemies out, I can stop them."

Wong nodded, "I'll stay here and help her defend the area."

Touma scratched the back of his head; he couldn't just leave everyone trapped there and hope they got out safely when his hand could help them out.

"I'll go with you," Honey Lemon smiled, "You need back up in case you meet anyone. Your hand works great on canceling supernatural powers, but if you run into anyone with a normal boring weapon, you might be in trouble."

Suddenly they could see a spiral of flames shot out from deep within the forest.

"Ah," GoGo surmised, "I think we should hurry."

Before Touma could say anything, the girls looped their arms with his and started to pull him into the magical forest.

Illyana smirked and waved, "Have fun, don't do anything I wouldn't."

0000

Scarlett was setting a wolf on fire. She'd been around magic long enough to know a few things. Namely, this was narrative magic, it was a story brought to life by magic, and it wouldn't change; the story would fight tooth and nail to stay on track. Of course, if this was the original version, it meant that a wolf eats her up.

Bonus, Scarlett was raised by a demon who often took the form of a wolf. Scarlett had a lot of baggage against that demon, and she had a lot of rough days and a very recent rough night.

This Big Bad Wolf's fur was on fire; its black eyes were like glowing charcoals staring at her. The story refused to change; the wolf didn't flinch or act to the fact that flames burned away its fur and flesh. The wolf growled as it went to try and eat her.

The little Scarlett hood charged at the wolf and shot her flames right into its maw.

0000

Itsuwa used her spear to slice off the frog's tongue; it kept trying to pull her down into the swamp water. Itsuwa not only struggled against the frog monster, but she worked not to get pulled into the swamp.

She prepared another spell to end this creature before it was too late.

0000

The demon bears charged at Charmy, tossing her to the other side of the room. She groaned in pain; she just saw these massive bear coming closer and closer-

"You knocked over my porridge!"

Suddenly that small child-like figure was gone, suddenly the bears saw a young mature woman. Manifesting behind her was large sheep; the wool was pulled away from its body, revealing a giant wolf. "So hungry!"

The wolf devoured the first bear, and the second one found itself battered by Charmy, one punching hurling it out of the building.

The third bear knew it didn't have a chance.

0000

Red, Elodie, and Enid weren't happy to be turned into pigs and be in front of a hungry wolf. Enid jumped up trying to deliver a flamming kick, and she did collide with the wolf but found it didn't have the same effect when she had a hoof instead of a foot.

"Oops!"

Before she could get away, the wolf up its jaw to eat her up, Enid found herself inside the mouth of a wolf, doing her best to keep it from closing.

"Enid!" Both Red and Elodie yelled.

"Aim for its eyes!" Elodie yelled, a magical bow formed for her. She quickly started to shot arrows right at the eyes.

Red held up her arm cannon and fired at the other eyes. The wolf howled, now blinded Red sent a shot right into its nose, allowing Enid to escape.

The wolf then sneezed and blew apart the small straw shack.

Elodie fired another arrow with a rope around it; Enid grabbed the other end tying it around the wolf's snot. Red fired at the wolf's legs, causing it to tumble down. Enid ran around it, trying its legs together. Red jumped on the wolf to keep it down while Enid worked; Elodie helped by firing more arrows to pin it down.

A few moments later, these three little pigs had defeated their big bad wolf.

When it came down to it, these three could work together and come together in battle. For a few minutes, they could forget about their odd night and focus on just doing what they had to.

0000

"Why you drop the bird!?" Finral yelled.

"At this point, it doesn't want to go!" Magna yelled as the swan peaked him.

"Hurry up!" Zora had been busy setting up a trap. "Give it all you got!"

Finral and Magna shot at the trap with their strongest attack; the trap bounced back the attack doubling it as it did. At the giant as he stepped, the attack collided with his foot causing him to tumble down.

The trio used the chance to escape down the beanstalk.

0000

Noelle struggled against the vines; she barely managed to pull out her wand. She didn't hesitate to call out one of the water spells destroying the pea and the bed.

Noelle huffed as she freed herself, "Why did you think a royal-like me would be done in by a pea?"

0000

Vanessa was asleep, but she was fighting against the spell, she wasn't moving, but she kept her mind active.

She could hear Rouge meow, followed by the roar of a lion.

Yami broke through the tree line ridding the lion; this was far from the first time he had tamed a giant beast.

As by he was drawn by Rouge gentle cries. Pausing, Yami found Vanessa asleep and got off the lion to inspect her. Vanessa was vaguely aware that he was walking towards her, she was resisting the spell, but she was starting to drift. Then a thought struck, a story even told in her world. A beautiful woman was caught in a curse to sleep forever, but her true love lifted the curse with a kiss.

She felt her heart race as she thought of Yami taking up that role. She could sense him moving closer to her.

"Wake up!" Yami yelled at her

Vanessa blinked awake; somehow, that worked.

"Come on, let's go; the others are lost somewhere here."

"Uh, is that a lion?"

"Yeah, it turns out it had a splinter in its paw, I just took it out, and he got friendly," Yami patted the lion on its head.

The Queen of Fables was starting to see a pattern; these people were ridiculous. They were tearing through her stories.

WAKANDA

Steve explained what happened and why they couldn't arrive any sooner.

They had gotten lucky. Shuri and some people had snuck around trying to find information on the enemy. Instead, they found the team getting beat by three people.

M'Bakuhad joined then; he had stayed to help fortify the temple and get everyone out if things went wrong.

Shuri had taken off her helmet, "So, someone from that ship delayed you too; why?"

"Oh!" Tony sighed, "trust me, that's a long story. To give you the abridged version, what they're planning means trouble for all of us."

Shuri shrugged, "I can't argue that,"

"So, what happened here?" Steve asked her.

"That space ship arrived, just hovering outside of Wakanda," Shuri sighed, "we went on alert, we tried to contact it, but it either didn't get our messages or just didn't want to respond. We headed it to meet it; I came along in the last hope to end this peacefully."

Wakanda was reasonably sure they could hold their own, but they all were wary of entering battle again after their losses. However, they were not going to flinch if another came. That was why, on Okoye's insistence, she put on the suit. Yes, she'd never get the most out of the suit without the powers, but it would provide considerable protection. She hoped they could end with her just talking things down.

"But, as we went before the ship, it did something. I put a glass dome around Wakanda. And then there was a flash of light, and it was gone."

Okoye added, "We were prepared to fight, and they sent out their troops; they were quick to cut throughout forces."

"How many did they have?" Stave asked.

"Seven?" Tony spat out, "your army lost to seven people?"

Shuri shook her head, "Each of those seven was a danger."

"The Blue Woman took over our machines; she brought our ships came crashing down. Anything too complex stopped working." Shuri took offense to that; she had added stuff to the suit and could barely use anything. It took her a lot of effort just to get invisibility shields. Shuri wasn't sure she could get them back up now.

"Then there was the green woman, the one with red hair," M'Baku told them, "she could control the plants, the trees, she could move them with a wave of her hand or cause them to grow."

Tony stared, confused.

M'Baku held up his knobkerrie, a staff he used for battle, "The vibranium in the ground has changed the trees; their wood is nearly as strong as vibranium. Now imagine that in shape size of tree throwing people around like dolls."

Steve was reminded of Groot and could see that as a threat.

Okoye said, "Then there is the purple man; I take it you've realized how dangerous he is."

"Yeah," Steve admitted, "he touched me, I felt weaker like my life was draining from me."

Okoye nodded, "He didn't need to fight; he just needed to touch our warriors long enough. Too long, and they entered into a coma-like state, made worse; he seemed to get stronger. The more people he touched, the stronger he became."

Shuri held out her hand, "Luckily, his power doesn't work through vibranium. Though he can absorb pure energy, so don't shot him with a laser."

Okoye explained, "There was a woman, long red hair, shot fire from her hands."

The group paused as that description did sound familiar.

Shuri clapped her hands, "There was that man, with that wand device. He seemed to use it to control the weather, sudden rainstorms, high winds, lightning, snow."

M'Baku growled, "Then there was that savage man." They all seemed uncomfortable at the mention.

"Okay," Tony prodded, "I'll bite; why does that guy make you all nervous when you have a group that can seemingly control nature."

M'Baky explained, "He was a wild man, long black hair and pale like death itself. I flew around on a hoverbike swinging this large chain. He could pick up a man with one hand and toss him as if it were nothing. We fired at him, stabbed him, did everything we could, and shrugged it off and healed. He took glee in battle, tearing apart our army."

"The blonde woman," Shuri said, "She can fly, shot laser from her eyes, incredibly fast, and looks to be as strong or possibly stronger than the pale man. Invurnable except for high frequency sounds, and I believe she's being controlled."

"How so?" Steve asked.

"Unlike the others, she hasn't done any serious harm on anyone. She seems to hesitate before causing any real damage. I managed to use my sonic gauntlets on her; she changed for a moment, her voice, her body language changed, and she yelled for someone to get out before she changed back."

"So, hostage and an enemy at the same time," Steve sighed.

That would be troublesome, but if they could free her, she could be a powerful ally.

"Okay," Tony sighed, rubbing his temples, "anything else that we should know about?"

Shuri nodded, "Yes, we didn't get much from out scans of the ship, but we knew there are more people on the ship. Not sure how many, but people are waiting."

"They can't wait too long," Tony told them, "our friends on that ship have plans, and if we don't stop them soon, we are going to lose more than just Wakanda."

0000

Three Luthor's remained on the ship, Luthor-0, Luthor-96, and Luthor-167, monitoring the machines and the energy coming in.

The Older Luthor looked at a jar. It held Wakanda, they had put their force field up, but it didn't matter; they were trapped in a bottle.

They weren't sure what they would do with it. Once the Luthors were done, they could take it with them, the last testament for this Earth. Or maybe leave it, let them die with their world.

To live free a few moments, or to live a lifetime in a bottle.

In their away, the Luthors respected Wakanda; human strived and excelled on their own. Though not a perfect society, they had come far closer than any other one they had seen. If left on their own, they might create a utopia.

They didn't find pride in halting that, just that if they left them where they might have found a way to stop them. They couldn't allow that.

EARTH YGO-4208

MUNICH, GERMANY

RARE HUNTER'S WAREHOUSE

Rare Hunters had been an issue worldwide for years; someone had established it as a criminal organization worldwide. Someone had done some damage to the organization, and the founder vanished. Whoever was left was loosely associated with groups of thieves around the world. It made it harder for them to get arrested since if anyone in the group got caught, they couldn't talk about the other groups since they barely knew about them.

In times of disaster like this, they were taking advantage of it. The cards anyone of the vanished were hold vanished with them, but it still left a lot of discarded card with no one to claim. It left a lot of people weak and vulnerable, an easy target for the hunters.

They had crates full of rare cards to help them corner the dueling world. This sect had been doing a lot of work. Sure half their member vanished, but no one was that close here. Plus, it meant that everyone else got a more significant share.

They were all counting the loot when the lights to the warehouse all turned off. Some of the guys turned on their phone for light; someone went to check the breaker; it had gotten dark already. Their leader was thinking of just calling it a night and letting everyone go home.

The doors to the warehouse burst open by a powerful gust of wind. In the doorway, there was a figure. It was a young woman.

One of the hunters walked over to her, "Hey, girlie. What are you doing here?"

She raised her hand, and before the guy could understand, he was flung to the other side of the building.

Akiza just said, "Everything here is mine now, leave!"

A couple of the guys looked confused, a few chuckled, a few more were ready to take her. She pulled out her duel disk and a card.

"You wanna duel?" The leader pulled out his duel disk.

"I'm not here to play,"

She placed a familiar card on the disk, and above materialized a large black and red dragon, the Black Rose Dragon.

The dragon roared, the windows shattered, and they all felt the gust of air as it flapped its wings. Symbols glowed all around her body.

"I won't ask again, leave."

Akiza places two more cars, the Dark Magician Girl and Queen Angel of Roses, materialized beside her. Both monsters attack, destroying a couple of crates.

They realize that the attacks were real; as impossible as was, the monsters were real and at that witch's command.

They ran out as soon as they could.

"Thank you," Akiza said, the monsters that disappear one by one.

Now alone, she starts looking through the cards. In the last few days, she hard-learned a lot about summoning her powers. She could summon monsters if the duel spirits were alive. The dusting had affected even them. The marks on her body glowed gently, telling her which of these cards were still connected to spirits. The Crimson dragon whispered to her that something was coming, a chance.

Akiza knew that this was possibly a psychotic episode; she'd been through enough that it wouldn't have been a surprise that she did have a psychotic episode. Akiza was worried she was imagining the spirits and the dragon speaking to her to have some hope.

Hope that her friends could come back.

For the moment, she focused on herself, seeing which cards she could use. She had to be ready; she felt as if a war was coming.

KNOWHERE

"I believe this is where I do my villainous speech," Alexis smirked, as those who weren't being controlled now were forced together in the center. "I knew you'd go for the machine, so I had Starro wait. But, you couldn't have made it better for us, we got a giant, and most of your friends. You don't have a chance to win, "What? It's three to one, give or take a person. I'd say you should give up, but giving up or not isn't an option. Finish it!"

"Shell-ter!" Carapace activated his power, and a green dome materialized around them, keeping the others out.

They waited to put on more Starros.

Pegasus, controlled by a Starro, spoke, "I can teleport us in, but it would be a waste of power. He can only keep it up for five minutes. Less if we hit it hard enough."

Alexis mused, "Okay, we got five minutes. Let's see if we can bust his bubble before then. The moment it's done, put a Starro on them."

They started to attack the dome.

Trickster couldn't help but laugh as the dome started to crack. "It's like shooting fish a barrel."

Nebula prepared to fight, it didn't look good, but she wasn't going to give up. Maybe she could buy the others time to go back and possibly get help.

Carapace looked on, devastated over his girlfriend's state.

Charmcaster looked as Gwen blasted the dome.

The other looked on, trying to find a means to escape.

"I have a plan," Rose spoke up, "its not a good plan; it's almost certainly going go wrong in several ways, but-"

"But what?" Nebula asked,

"Anyone else have a plan?"

No one did, and the attacks on the dome made it clear they didn't have a whole five minutes.

"Okay, everyone gets close; when it happens, do as much as you can and hope for the best. Lower the dome."

Carapace shouted, "What?"

"I know, trust me."

Scott went to stop the dome when it vanished, and instead, a pink orb took its place. Rose bubbled them up, and even at the moment, struggled to hold it together. Luckily Scott tripped on the sphere and tripped over it.

The bubble spun out wildly, running over Mammoth, Gizmo, Chronos. The bubble burst and shot everyone in random directions.

"Oh no!" Peridot found herself riding on the back of Man-Bat. Peridot grabbed his ears and tried to steer him. "Go down, you stupid flying Clod!"

Man-Bat screeched, confused, and having someone screaming right in his ear threw his echolocation way off, and he flew full force right into a building and crashed down.

"Ow..." Peridot groaned, hitting the ground, "I said go down, not crash down."

Shadow Thief jumped at Rose, who created a bubble around him. "Let me out,"

Rose just pushed away from the bubble, letting it roll away.

Nebula confronted the Trickster; he laughed and fanned out some cards to her. "Pick a card, any card."

"No," She growled.

"You're supposed to say go fish." The Trickster flung the cards, and they embedded themselves in her metal. "Oh, don't worry, I still have one last trick."

Electricity charged from surged out of the card forcing her arm to shut down and numb most of her body. The Trickster just pulled out a gun and pointed it at her head. Nebula was stubborn and knew precisely how to fight with only one hand. With her good had she struck his neck with her palm. He gasped for breath. Nebula grabbed one of the still shocking cards, pulling it and before stabbing the Trickster with it. After a few moments, he collapsed, twitching. Nebula tossed the card to the side, she jerked, but she'd endured far worse when trained with Thanos.

Nebula sighed in relief before trying to restart her arm.

Carapace ran into Rose; she motioned to the frost from Captain Cold's gun and Killer Frost and how ice formed around her.

Carapace noted, "Both of them seem to have freezing powers."

"Hm, I think I have a plan for that,"

"Okay, but we're going to have to hurry; my power is running out,"

"Well, I can't have my shield buddy without some way to defend themselves," Rose summoned up her shield.

"Huh, shield buddy?" They tapped the shields before getting ready to charge.

"Okay, let me go ahead of you."

Rose raised forwards both icy villains fired their freezing blast at her, her shield held out as she pressed forward. "Okay now!"

Carapace was right behind, jumped over her, and fell and between the two villains. The turtle-themed teen hero did a rapid spin kick knocking out the cold gun from Captain Cold's hand and slamming his shield right into Killer Frost Head knocking her out.

Before he could do anything else, Captain Cold picked up the gun and pointed it at Carapace. Before he could pull the trigger, it flew out of his hand, and Rose used the chance to slam her shield into him.

Peridot had gotten there and used her power to pull in the metal gun. "Huh? It's like that blue coat's guy's one."

That when Rena and Pegasus attacked them.

Nearby Charmcaster ran towards Gwen, "Gwen!"

"Gwen's not here," Starro informed Charmcaster letting energy pull into her hands.

"I'm not talking to you. Look! Gwen, I know you can hear me! You're stronger than a starfish! Gwen, I need you; when everything started, I was falling apart, you held it together, you helped me keep it together. And, you think I didn't notice it, but you weren't doing great either. You still managed to pull me out of my spiral and help yourself. So I know you are strong to pull out of this. But, since you helped me out of my nightmare, I'll help you out of this."

Charmcaster started to cast a spell running towards and run towards Gwen placing her hand on her temples. Somewhere dark in the deepest corners of her mind that even Gwen didn't know about, she woke up. She saw a brilliant light, Charmcaster reaching out from that light.

"Gwen, please take my hand,"

Gwen grasped it tightly and felt a tug.

Gwen gasped, she started to pull at the starfish.

"No! Noooo! You can't."

"Get off me!"

Gwen's eyes glowed brightly, and the energy flowed into the spore, overwhelming the psychic network they shared. All the Starro screamed as their minds were overwhelmed.

Rena and Pegasus stopped their attack as the spore fell off. Carapace didn't hesitate to hug Rena. Scott gasped as the large one simply fell off his chest, and he shrunk down.

Gwen tossed the stare fish off her face, Charmcaster just hugged her.

"Yeah, enough with the sap," Alexis Luthor interrupted, using her mech suit to light a heavy stone pillar from a building.

She hurled it right at them; Gwen reacted by pushing Charmcaster as far away as she could. Charmcaster saw the pillar drop on Gwen and the sickening sound of stone squishing flesh. Furious, she moved to conjurer her most potent spell when purple energy wrapped her up and yanked her away.

Star Sapphire pulled her away, "I'm sorry, I sense your pain. I'm afraid in a war for the survival of universes; sacrifices are needed. Know that in her last breaths, she cared for you."

Charmcaster thought she had grown numb to the pain of people dying, but she saw pink ooze from the pillar and could only imagine the state of Gwen beneath that pillar.

She'd have to tell her grandfather, her father, and brother. Gwen told her about them, they all the family she had left, and she'd have to tell them she died for her.

KAMAR-TAJ

The Queen would prefer to send their forces to deal with them, but they seemed to be having trouble with the three teenagers that entered her forest.

She expected to send a small army of villains to take them down like this was a typical horror movie, it wasn't happening.

The Enchantress and Circe worked well together, but they were not affecting Touma. Any spell they fired his way, he'd shatter with his hand.

"Come on!" Circe yelled, "I had less trouble than Odysseus."

Enchantress made the ground shake as a large hand formed from the ground. Touma just slammed his fist into the earth; the hand dissolved and turned into harmless dirt.

GoGo was dodging the spells from Jynx and eventually moved close to lay her out a punch.

"I'm afraid we can't have you running around," Shadows wrapped around GoGo, stopping her in her tracks.

A man dressed in black and a top hat held out his cane; this inky black shadows flowed from it. The Shade shifted his sunglasses, "This isn't personal; we just can't have you stop us."

"Well, we can't have you stop us," GoGo charged her battle suit, energy erupting from it. The light from the energy cut through the shadows. GoGo charged forward; the Shade tried to great a wall of shadows to block the attack, but she cut through them, slamming the thin man into a tree and shattering his cane.

Deacon Blackfire was unconscious on the floor, he had tried to mind control Honey Lemon, but she reacted by slamming a baton onto his head.

Felix Faust sent blast after blast of energy at Honey Lemon; her agility was more than enough to keep her a step ahead of him. Faust had tried to summon up a stone gargoyle but quickly got shattered by a grenade from the power purse.

"Why must you make this so difficult?" Faust hissed,

"Give up," Circe told Touma, she teleported beside him and stroke his face, "You are handsome, a bit of time you could make a fine man,"

Touma batted away her touch.

Circe never was fond of men who revoked her, "Fine, if you are in the mood to play the gallant knight, then so be it,"

Enchantress cast a spell, and Honey Lemon and GoGo were captured and tied together to a tree. "What would a knight be without a princess or two to save."

"Felix, dear?" Circe teleported to Faust's side. "Me and the Enchantress are more than qualified to play the role of wicked witches. Would you be willing to play the fairy beast?"

Faust chuckled, "I have just the idea," he leaned over and whispered to her.

Her eyes went wide with delight, she clapped her hands, "Oh, Felix, you aren't playing fair. I love it! It's so in theme."

Circe held out her hand to cast another spell on Faust.

Light twisted and formed around him before Faust turned into a giant red dragon.

He snarled as he turned to the girls, "What are you going to do, hero?"

Flames flickered from the dragon maw.

Lex loved it; he had them trapped in a room as a fleet of flying monkeys charged at them.

The group had their powers weakened in this form, but they were still trying to fight it. Rhodey was still strong and managed to fire some missiles that popped out of his now tin body. Kanzaki had her sword turned into a pitchfork; she did what she could with it. Also, her body was now made of straw and didn't pack nearly as much of a punch. Hayley couldn't turn into a dragon, not entirely anyway. She could transform her hands into claws, and her mouth managed to shoot some flames out.

Grey was terrified by the flying monkeys; she slapped at them using her transformation magic to turn them into water.

Lex couldn't help but taunt them, "Keep up the good fight; I wonder what I should send next? An army of exploding lollipop guild members? Crushed by a yellow brick road? Stomped by ruby slippers?"

In a puff of smoke, the Queen of Fables appeared in a red version of the Wicked Witch's outfit. "Luthor! Stop playing with them! Finish them off; the others have already fallen."

"Already? Wasn't it three teens? Did they come with a van and a talking dog too?"

"Luthor you-"

As they argued, one of those monkeys was slapped towards her turning into water. The water splashed onto the Queen, and she screamed as her body started to melt. She wasn't the real wicked witch, but she played the role, and she would feel some drawbacks.

She glared at Grey, "You little-"

In a panic, Grey performed some magic to protect herself; she copied the magic she saw around her.

She transformed herself, the role of the cowardly lion transformed into the Good Witch.

Grey looked confused to find her clothes turned into a sparkling dress and holding a wand. Narrative magic was nutty, it moved to fill roles, and when Grey copied it, she went to fill another position.

The Queen turned to strike her down before anything could happen; Grey held out the wand to protect herself and shot out bubbles. They couldn't kill her, but it did hurt and distract her from the spell she had going in the form.

The walls around them started to explode; a crispy wolf crashed with Red Riding Hood looking rather pissed and her hands aflame.

A wall came down, Itsuwa walked out covered in swamp muck and frog blood as she twirled her spear.

Three men with a swan fell through the ceiling.

Water broke through a wall, and Noelle walked out.

Three pigs walked through a broken war, looking to finish a fight.

A lion tore through another wall, the lion being ridden by Yami and Vanessa clinging to him.

Charmy stomped through with a woolen Wolf behind her.

Scarlett asked, "What? Did Charmy get older?"

Yami jumped off the lion as he pulled out his sword, "Good work, Grey. You stepped up."

"What?" Grey had no idea what she was doing.

"I'll take it from here," Yami readied his sword, "Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash!"

Dark magic pulled around his sword, the world around them shook and shivered.

The Queen of Fables could only watch as she sensed this spell would cut through her magic. Luthor jumped out from behind the curtain and looked for a way to escape. "We need to leave! We need to get the machine out of here!"

Everyone, including the monkeys, got out of the way as Yami slashed, and the world was cut through.

The Faustian Dragon shot his fire breath at Honey Lemon and GoGo, and Touma did what was in his nature to save people. He jumped before the flames and held out his right hand; the flames collided with the hand. Touma was pushed back, his hand canceling the fire as they hit him.

Enchantress and Circe laid their hands on the dragon lending their power to the attack.

Honey Lemon Yelled, "Touma! Run!"

GoGo screamed for him to leave them behind, "Go! Get out of here!"

"No!" Touma yelled.

The flames were pushing back, and the heat was burning the ground around him.

They could tell that Touma was losing the struggle, but he refused to let them die.

The firelight made it hard to see what was happening, but then the flames moved forward; they could vaguely see the fire rip through the hand and burn it away.

They heard Touma scream.

The magic users chuckled as the flames rushed forward to incinerate him.

The sound of glass shattering was heard, and what followed was an explosion blasting everything away. The girls were flung free but hurled into the forest.

Something that was not easy to do; they looked over to see this teenager standing there holding a bleeding stump where his arm had once been. They had achieved victory, then why did they feel nothing but dread.

Blood gushed from his wound, and Touma looked at them with a disgusted snarl, "You think your power gives you the right to toy with people, to kill to destroy worlds. Let me shatter that illusion."

Something seemed to form out of the blood and flames; something started to take form, and the world around it trembled.

A roar filled the air and the trees and shook at; they felt it at in their very souls. Only caught sight of something rush at them, its maw opening before them, distorting the world as it did.

And they screamed.

WAKANDA

Things could be going better. Steve had tried to get more people to help them, but after a quick call to Alexis confirmed that everyone seemed to be in fights. Alexis told them he would try to send anyone who got freed up, but they'd have to wait.

Waiting was the trouble; they didn't have time. They couldn't calculate the exact time they had; distance and other factors about the machine made it near impossible. They would never know when the machines would go off; the only sign would be the ship heading back to their universe followed by the death of this universe.

They were trying to figure out any attack strategy, anything their powers might provide to help them.

If they went ahead, they would be attacked again; they wouldn't be surprised like their first meeting. Though they still didn't have a way to deal with them. Shuri guessed the parasite man could get any power from people he touched. Most of them relied on some power.

The Doctor and Missy were trying to figure out how to teleport on there, but they set up some jammer from what they could tell. If they make a beacon and get on the ship, they could bypass it, but they had no idea how to do it.

Someone might be able to fly up there, but then they'd have to deal with the blonde.

Leo could see long distances with his eyes, but they'd have to go outside, and there was a good chance they'd be found.

There were many factors to come to play, and there was so much they didn't know.

The Doctor and Missy were helping fix the sonic gauntlets.

Sakura and Marinette gravitated towards one another, both users of magical items and both about the same age. Marinette was Lady Noir; she charged in with it to make sure she was ready and didn't want to waste it.

They stayed close but explored the temple a little. Sakura marveled at the temple, she could feel its age, and she smiled. Her father would have loved to study this; Syaoran was very interested in archeology. It seemed wrong that she would get to see it, and they didn't.

Marinette seemed to notice it, "Is something wrong?"

"No," Sakura shook her head, "it's just- I know someone that would have loved to see this."

"Was it someone special?"

"Yes," Sakura let out without saying.

"Oh? A boyfriend?"

"Ah!" Sakura squeed. "I- it's just that- ah-"

Marinette smiled, "Sorry to put you on the spot."

"It's just, ah-"

"No, trust me, I understand." Marinette decided to change the subject, "Is there a Wakanda in your universe?"

Sakura shook her head, "I don't think so,"

"Yeah, I don't remember hearing about one in my universe either."

"Well, we are fairly private," Shuri walked over smiling at them, "Another girl with a connection to cats," she motioned to Marinette, "you fit right in."

They did notice all the statues of the Black Panther.

Shuri chuckled, "This is the Necropolis, hidden temple for the Dead. Bast was the goddess of the Sun and the Moon and protector of the dead. Strictly speaking, no one besides the current Black Panther is allowed in here, but desperate times." She shrugged, "In all fairness, no one knew where this place was. This is supposed to be the location where the first Black Panther received the gifts from Bast."

"What kind of gifts?" Marinette asked.

"A flower that gave those who ate it the power of the Black Panther."

"Like that flower?" Sakura motioned to behind a pillar.

Shuri looked and found a single of the heart-shaped herbs sticking out of a small crack in the wall. The purple light was glowing in the dark.

The panther goddess not only sent them to a place for safety but to find her gift once more.

0000

The Wakanda warriors quickly dug a small pit as Shuri took off the panter suit. Nearby someone prepared it, making sure to save at least one of the seeds per Shuri's orders.

Okoye asked Shuri, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"No, but Wakanda needs the Black Panther, and my admittedly incredible suit isn't going to be enough."

Shuri was helped into the pit and laid down as they brought the drink to her.

The others watched; very few outsiders through history had ever witnessed this.

Shuri drank it up, she closed her eyes, and her veins began to glow purple. The warriors around her started to push onto her.

Shuri felt her heart slow as a vision filled her mind. The fight, watching her people turn to ash around her, the news of her father's death, finding her brother in the snow and then getting the news that her family was gone. She saw the ship arrive and make Wakanda vanish.

As the last bit of dirt covered her face, she couldn't help but wonder if it was her fault. If she had acted sooner, could she have stopped that?

Shuri pushed though the dirt to stand, now wearing traditional white robes, she found her self looking at a dark sky with brilliant purple lights stretched across it.

A nearby tree, a panther, sat staring at her; it jumped off and walked towards her. Shuri didn't understand, but she knew who that was. The panther transformed into her father and hugged her.

"Baba!"

"Shuri" He kissed her on her forehead,

"I'm so sorry,"

"Sorry? Why?"

"If I acted sooner, I could-"

"No, you didn't make a mistake. You did the best you could; anyone would have done the same under the circumstances. I'm proud of you, Shuri; you took up the mantle when the world fell apart; you were scared but did what you had. No man has ever been so lucky to have two children so brave."

"T'challa! Is he here?"

"No, he is missing. The souls of those lost have been taken somewhere, somewhere beyond the panther goddess's reach. "

"That's… worrisome."

"You need to act right away; the men in the ship have already begun their attack. If you don't stop them soon, there won't be a chance to get everyone back."

Shuri awoke, pulling herself from the ground. "We need to attack right away; we don't have much more time."

ETHERIA (JUXTA-DIMENSION: DESPONDOS) S-RPP-1113.03

BRIGHT MOON

The news of the Horde just being gone was uneasy. They had fought to beat them for years, and suddenly their enemy up and left. Fright Zone was empty; everything that could be taken was gone. They left something behind, something important.

The portal was broken; it had burned out.

She was working feverishly to repair it, though she was having a hard time.

Adora asked, "How's it going?"

"Not great! They made a lot of adjustments and attached a lot of random things. They were using it to get readings! They didn't care anything about my portal! Half the stuff is burned out!"

"Do you think we can find where Catra went?"

"I don't know, probably not. The data that came with that message gave us some clues. We can probably start there."

"I guess it's something," Adora said before watching sparks fire off the portal.

EARTH MHA-714-2

MUSUTAFU, JAPAN

U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

There were grounds in front of the school, some curious, some demanding answers. Some were demanding they use; if there was any hope in getting their loved ones back, they had to take it. A few were demanding it be destroyed, some afraid that it would collapse and turn into a black hole destroying the world.

The world was on the brink; anything could send it over the edge.

Nearby hiding was Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains; his cohorts were all nearby. Today was the day they were going to steal the portal. That portal was the world's greatest fear and its greatest hope. Whoever controlled it would be able to sway the world to whichever choice they wanted.

They weren't going to miss their chance for something like that.

00000

"So, does it work? Anything that message said real?"

In the congress room, one scientist spoke, "Maybe, look, to be honest, the scientist behind this is way beyond us. The fact that girl managed to build it…. it's like making a working electric car in the 1800s, everything you need is there, but you'd be taking some big leaps. If she didn't have detailed plans on putting everything together, she wouldn't have managed it. The science behind it up until a week ago it was theoretical." The scientist took a breath, "As for everything else, we don't know. Aliens have been theorized for generations. Seeing some quirks, it seems possible that with enough power, something like this could happen. We won't know if anything is real until we step in and see for ourselves."

Kamui Woods spoke up, "Maybe we should start with sending a probe, to at least get a lay of the land as it were."

"And, could we expect you to take the journey to see for yourself?"

A woman with rabbit ears smiled, "If it's not going to kill us after a second, and there is a chance to get everyone we lost back. Every hero in the country to volunteer, don't worry about it."

Mirko said confidently; the heroes present seemed to agree with the general idea.

All Might spoke up, "if there is any chance to get, even one person back. We have to try. No matter how impossible."

Spoken like a true hero.

KNOWHERE

Alexis sighed, "I should have recorded that, my first direct murder. And, what is that?"

The ooze just started to move from under the pillar, pulling itself together.

It pulled itself into the vague form of a young woman, and then she was. It was a pink girl, wearing white puffy pants, a black top, a small black vest with gold trim, and some stylish boots. He had black eyes with glowing ring-like purple irises. Her hair was long and messy, and not hair; her entire body was composed of the same gum-like material, and this bit was vaguely hair-shaped. Gwen noticed it was vaguely redder than the rest of her. Annoyed by the messy nature of her not hair, she grabbed a bunch of it and tied it into a messy ponytail.

"What?"

"What!"

"WHAT?!"

Everyone present for that was utterly confused.

"Oh!" Gwen smiled, "It's the Omnitrix, it protects its user, it turned me into this alien thinking it could save me. I guess it did." Gwen pointed to the Omnitrix that was now on her waist as a belt, "Never seen this alien before; it's all pink." Gwen tested her skin, pulling it, and it stretched long gum before snapping back. "Pink?" Oh! The pink goo on Alexis' coat."

"My coat?" Luthor asked,

"Other Alexis, he didn't just have a zombie virus on the coat; he had pink goo! He must have gotten it from some alien! The Omnitrix must have scanned it when I cleaned it."

"Okay, don't care," Alexis Luthor, annoyed, aimed her mech weapons at Gwen and fired. "Die."

Before the attack made contact, Gwen raised her hand and pointed. A blast of energy collided with the attack, and it turned into sparkles.

"Coool~!" Gwen bounced on her heels, "This alien is good with transfiguration. This feels body feels like it's really strong with magic. This whole body feels weird, and my head feels like bubbles. I feel giddy." Gwen just started floating, "Am I talking fast? I feel like I'm talking fast."

The Star Sapphire raised her ring, "Your passion grows in this strange new form."

"I'm sick and tired of people getting in my head today!" Gwen pointed her finger and blasted the ring; the ring turned into rock candy.

Gwen rushed at them and grabbed her and Charmcaster, putting them on the ground safely. Gwen yanked off the candy ring and ate it.

Without the ring Star Sapphire was just a version of Carol Ferris that got caught up in the Star Sapphire corp mentality.

"You ate my ring? One of the most powerful weapons in the universe and you turned it into candy and ate it."

"Mmmmm, sweet, like Valentine chocolate with that sweet cherry filling in the middle, but more crunchy." Gwen happily rubbed her cheeks. "I think I have a sweet tooth like this."

Charmcaster chuckled out how things situation was.

"Ah, I like your laugh. So, how do I look?"

Charmcaster smirked, "Kinda cute actually,"

"Oh…" Steam shot out of odd ear holes at the side of her head, "Uh, wow, feeling warm; my face suddenly feels really warm. Let's find the others."

A feral cheetah woman charged at the heroes leading the remaining villains.

Cheetah rushed at the heroes, her razor-sharp slashed at them. Rena's weapon was a flute; she could easily stretch it out to the length of a staff. Though a standard flute would have no chance against those claws, all miraculous weapons were magical and virtually indescribable. Rena could use it as a combat staff. After pulling away, she used her power Mirage to create several doubles of herself. Cheetah was confused; she had animal-like senses, but this illusion matched everything. Cheetah looked up to see all the Rena's coming to attack her. She didn't know which one to block. As the staff struck her head, the illusions vanished only for a kick to slam into the cat lady and knocking her out.

Pegasus was fighting the bug man, Hellgrammite. Pegasus threw his horseshoe weapon, but the bug man dodged it quickly. Hellgrammite moved fast, grabbing him, and slammed the teen into the ground. Hellgrammite stood over him, his mouth dripping with saliva as he prepared to put Pegasus in a cacoon. Hellgrammite was about to start when the horseshoe boomerang back and crashed right into his head, taking him out.

The Electrocutioner charged at Baymax, and while his fist surged with electricity, this robot was insulated. He heard a crack as his fist broke as he punched steel. Baymax didn't hesitate to hit him and knock him out.

The rest of the team were dealing with a strange man.

They had been pulled away from the others as the villains arrived. They were being chanced by a short man or possibly a robot. He moved like a person, but the face was a painted ceramic face of a boy.

He fired at them with a nerf gun; they only jumped back because the fighting kept them alert. Thankfully they had moved; anything touched by the nerf dart exploded.

"Don't worry, friends, I've got loads of games to play." Tossing the gun aside, Toyman pulled out a yo-yo. He started doing the trick; he launched it at them. They dodged it again, the yo-yo glowed brightly, and with a mini-explosion evaporated a chunk of the floor.

"How about a game of catch?" He pulled out a small ball, "Don't worry; I have plenty for everyone." He pulled out handfuls of tiny rubber balls from his pockets.

Then he heard something clatter to the floor, two tiny stone statues. "What?"

They quickly grew to full size, and the stone servants grabbed Toyman and closed his hands around his balls.

"Game over," Charmcaster smiled.

The battle was over, and the group reunited; Carapace saw Rene and went to hug, happy to see her back to normal.

Nebula pointed at the currently pink Gwen, "Whose that?"

"It's me, Gwen!" Gwen responded, "It's a different form."

"Gwen?" Rose blinked, "Humans can transform?"

"Some of us can,"

"Well, that's amazing! You look terrific in this form."

"Thank you; I love all your hair! It looks like cotton candy."

"Thank you,"

"I'm thinking of going as Magi as this. I don't know, what do you guys think? I'm working on the name."

"Okay," Nebula wasn't going to make that an issue at the moment. "Did we get everyone?"

Hiro looked around, "Where's the girl with mech suit?"

Alexis quickly moved towards the machine; it didn't take a lot to realize that the fight had gone south. She had to make sure she moved the machine. She saw it a short distance away; she'd have to hide it somewhere else.

"Not so fast!"

A giant foot blocked her; the others quickly caught up and readied to finish it.

"If you think I" m going down without a fight, you have another thing coming." Alexis readied to destroy everything around her, maybe a few could survive, but she doubted they all would.

Gwen zapped her and transformed her mech suit. Alexis fell to the ground, with brown ooze covering her. Alexis looked on confused, "What? Chocolate pudding?"

Gwen shrugged, "Hm, I'm really in the mood for pudding."

"Okay," Scott told her, "Turn off the machine,"

"There's no off switch. It's activated before I got here."

"I got it!" Gwen zapped it, and nothing happened. "What? I wanted a jawbreaker!"

Gwen transformed back, smacking her lips. She could only say, "I feel like I need to go to the dentist."

Alexis chuckled, "Not one but Nine Luthors designed these machines. We planned for everything; It's shielded for every kind of energy attack. It's reenforced promethium; even superman couldn't break it. Short of a black hole, nothing could destroy it."

"Blackhole?" Pegasus smirked, "I think I can do that. Voyage!"

A portal opened up beneath the machine and fell through it. They looked into to see the machine falling straight towards the event horizon of a black hole.

"I guess that takes care of it." Scott surmised, "good job, everyone."

Charmcaster groaned, "Weren't you controlled by a starfish for most of it?"

"A psychic starfish… that's not making it sound any better."

"Do you have any idea what you've done?!" Alexis yelled, "You are all- "

Something hit her, and she was suddenly encased in a block of ice.

"Oop!" Peridot tossed the ice gun to the side,

A mini-portal opened up, and a device fell out, and Nebula read a message on the TDS.

After several minutes they had gathered every bad guy and group them. The miraculous holders had to do it without their power as they de-transformed and their Kwami's rested and snacked on some food.

Rose colled over the Shadow Thief in a bubble as Scott pushed the frozen Alexis into the group. They walked Carol Ferris over; she didn't have much of a fight in her without her ring. Gwen double checked they got all the Starro.

Nebula fiddled with the machine that Alexis had sent them.

"Does that look like that capture device from Ghost Busters?" Scott asked

"What?" Nebula asked.

"Yeah, it's a great film. Four guys start a ghost-hunting business, they used something like this," taking the devices and then dropping it by the group. He stepped on the control, and the box opened up all the way, flooding the area with white light.

The villains had all vanished. Even though the light engulfed Scott and Nebula, they were spared because of wearing the TDS.

"Okay, well done, Scott," Nebula complimented, "wasn't sure if we'd get them all, and the message said it only had enough charge for one.

"Right, no problem." Scott blinked his eyes, focusing; he didn't realize it would open up like that and suck up everything in a range that big. He thought it would be more focused, and he certainly didn't know he'd only have one shot.

"Alexis?" Nebula contacted back the base, "We sent over the invaders."

"Yeah, I just got them into my cube. That's not why I called you guys. Uh, it looks like there is something trouble in Wakanda. If you guys are up for it, I think Cap could use some help."

KAMAR-TAJ

"What the hell?" Illyana felt the world shake beneath her feet, and suddenly to the forest was gone. A black slash tore through one of the walls.

The Queen of Fables looked on in horror; she had pulled up her book to block the attack. The cover was fine, but all the pages inside were cut to shreds.

Luthor ran to the machine, the Queen had it hidden inside worlds in worlds of her fairy tales, and it looked fine, but it was dead. He could hear the parts inside of it were falling apart. The machine could deflect magic blasts, but that attack shifted through dimension ones it didn't guard basically, as the attacks shifted dimensions if tore the inside apart.

Luthor yelled, "You don't know what you have done!"

Illyana just stabbed him in the back with his back. "Be quiet."

He went limp and collapsed onto the floor.

Honey Lemon and GoGo jumped up to find Touma on the ground; he looked fine, his right sleeve was gone.

"Are you okay?" GoGo asked,

"Yeah, just a little winded."

Honey Lemon sighed in relief.

She looked around to find the Enchantress depowered on the floor unconscious.

Circe was holding herself as she rocked back and forth, "I'll go back to Tartarus. I'll be good. I promise."

Faust was human and on the ground unconscious; he was bleeding with four large puncture marks on his body like something took a bite out of him.

Red, Enid, and Elodie found themselves no longer pigs and smiled, pulling each other into a group hug.

"Uh, this seems familiar." Red let out.

Enid flinched and wondered: wait, did Red not even remember what happened?

As they helped clean everything up, Rhodey got the device to teleport them into the cube. Then he got a message.

"Hey guys," Rhodey called out, "it sounds like they need us at Wakanda ASAP. Who's ready for another trip?"

Author's Notes: What's more OP an anime protagonist or a DC comics character? You decide.

So stuff happened the votes were pretty close so for this chapter I went with Knowhere and Kamar-Taj These stories will all be happening at the same time, and the Wakanda stuff will be intersliced between them. So vote for who you guys want to see in the next chapter: Tønsberg, Xandar, Sakaar, Vormir. And, I guess vote on mini shot to get updates on other worlds. IDK. I can try some, but like overwatch I don't know it so I can add them but they won't play a big role.

So, my notes, this is why I didn't want DBZ character here, They are very over powered. Gwen get Buu DNA and can turn her problems into candy.

I liked giving Mainette and Sakura a chance to meet, both good girls with magic stuff and get flustered easy about romance.

Shuri now had the power of the black panther. The league of villains is plotting. Touma's hand killed a dragon, well, maimed him anyway.

Oh, we made it to 404 reviews. So thanks. Please keep them coming and let me know what you guys think.

Q&A:

Acosta Perez Jose ramiro: Thank always appreciate to hear from you.

Spartan-140: I'm working on an update for them. Just not happy with it yet. But for the moment they are dealing with the clock tower while trying to figure out whats happening.

kingmanaena: Soonish?

JupitersMoon 167: I am honestly not familiar with those. When asked for people to suggest updates, I meant on one I've done. You can just see the chapter titles to see them.

Guest 01: Hey

1 they wouldn't send high schoolers. That burning slowly.

2. I did say his name in the previous chapter. Ivy said Mind.I honestly thought that gave it away. But yeah, they have a lot of mind controllers, look at Starro in this chapter.

3 the Luthors are from many worlds so they'd all want to pull from their worlds. People they knew and worked with.

4 Thanks, I am thinking if I can do a joke about the Animated Luthors saying the Smallville Luthor reminds him of the flash. I will try to make jokes, I'm sure Deadpool will do something by himself.

5both have purple light, I had to do something with them. Plus plot progression.

6.I am going to re-read the animated Hellboy stuff. See if can come up with something. I liked it and wanted to put it in but I honestly just don't have an idea.

7. I gotta work on the physics behind Madoka to see how that would work. Plus, yeah, magic girls are varied. Heck, we saw into the world of Panty and Stocking and some people argue they are magical girls too. So what's your definition. Cause, Marinette and Rose might both be canidates.

themaninthe mirror2000: The Dc is doing stuff. Hm, Middleman? I didn't think anyone even noticed that one. I might add them. I just want to do it properly.

Guest: Cain was dusted. It was clear in chapter 13.

Superdomenic31:

1. The Luthors are pulling from multiple universes. So the scarecrow we saw here is not the same one that got dusted.

2. A lot. GIve me a name I'll let you.

3. No,if I do more marvel I'd rather do some that get less attention. Ones that are interesting but aren't likely to show up in the MCU.

Guest: I got ideas but I won't say them because things do change.
