AN: Enjoy!

From that point onward, many of Wanda's days took on a new routine.

In allowing Viv to call her Mama, in accepting that role in her life, Wanda had made a commitment to her, and to Vision, one she intended to honour. To truly honour it, she wanted to be there for them both, even more than she already was. So, while she had previously only stayed over on Fridays and weekends, now, Wanda was at Vision's most nights. While there were a few reasons for this, including the fact that she tended to get more of her artwork done there, and Wanda felt more at home in Vision's house than her own lonely apartment, it was mostly so she could be there to tuck Viv into bed. A goodnight phone call did not feel like enough anymore.

But actually being there felt right. Making sure Viv brushed her teeth before bed, tucking her in, reading a story and kissing her goodnight.. Wanda hadn't been doing these things long, yet part of her felt like she'd been doing them all her life.

And best of all, there was no heart-sinking moment of loneliness after hanging up the phone. Because now, after Viv went to sleep, Wanda got quiet alone time with Vision. She would show him her artwork, and he would show her any edits he had made to his story. They were close to sending everything off to potential publishers, both of them excited, and slightly nervous at the prospect.

They would talk about their day. Snuggle together on the couch, watching TV, stealing the occasional kiss.. well, maybe a little more than the occasional kiss. Maybe lots of kisses. And maybe, sometimes, they made out like teenagers. The kind of passion he felt for Wanda was something Vision had never experienced before, not with Virginia, or anyone else, so it was easy to get carried away. Most of the time, Wanda was happy to let him, because what she had with Vision was so special, so wonderfully different to any other man she had been with. Vision didn't madly paw at her. When Vision touched Wanda, intimately or otherwise, he did so with a sort of reverence, like he was lucky to be allowed to touch her. He looked at her like she was something precious, and Wanda could almost believe that she was.

On some nights, they made love, although they learned to be quiet when they did so, so as not to wake their daughter. But equally as often, perhaps even more often, Wanda and Vision would simply curl up in each other's arms, cuddling until they fell asleep. Wanda had never slept better.

The couple quickly slipped into a routine on weekday mornings, where in one of them would get Viv ready for school while the other prepared breakfast. Viv soon came to prefer Mama's breakfast days.

If Wanda had a Morning shift at the store, Vision would drop her off after he took Viv to School, but if Vision had an early event to get to, Wanda would handle the School Run. She'd recently had a car-seat installed in her own vehicle for such a purpose. Viv had almost grown out of needing one, but Wanda wasn't taking any chances with her daughter's safety. She'd also had the car, which was a bit of an old rust-bucket, serviced in case of any safety issues. Vision had helped her pay for both of these things, although she had not asked him to.

If Wanda worked the afternoon shift instead, Vision would often drop by with Viv after he picked her up from school, bringing her a snack or a drink. If the store wasn't too busy, they would chat for a bit while Viv browsed for Halloween decorations she liked, or parts for her next costume. She'd bring her selections up to the counter, happily requesting:

"These ones please, Mama!"

Or, if she was feeling clever,

"Acestea va rog, Mama!"

Viv had been especially excited one day to find a dark-haired wig, and when Wanda had looked at Vision, questioning, he shrugged, smirking, and said nothing. Wanda was confused, but smiled, and, as always, rung up the purchase under her Staff Discount.

"You don't have to do that" Vision told her.

"I know" Wanda grinned. "But what good is a discount if I can't use it on my family?"

"Daddy!" Viv tugged at Vision's sleeve. "We need to go buy the other thing.."

"Oh, yes, your ja.." He paused, catching himself. "Other thing." He kissed Wanda's cheek. "We'll see you at home, alright? Call if you need to be picked up."

"Bye, Mama" Vivian waved with one hand, while Vision took the other to lead her out of the store.

Wanda couldn't help wondering what they were up to as she waved after them.

When Wanda wasn't working, she spent her days painting, performing with Vision at parties, or when she was in the mood, beginning the process of moving her things from her old apartment to Vision's house.

This was what she had been doing on the afternoon of Halloween. Vision had a few events that day, but he would be done in time to pick Viv up from school, and he would be home, he promised, to help Wanda carry her boxes inside. Then, they would all go Trick-or-Treating that evening.

Wanda returned to the house, smiling at the Jack-O-Lantern on the porch that she had helped Viv to carve, and got out to retrieve a box from the back of her car. Vision, still in full costume after work, rushed out, taking the box from her.

"Let me take that.. you can't go inside yet" He told her.

"Why?" Wanda frowned.

"Well, Vivian is putting the final touches on a surprise.."

At that moment, Viv burst through the front door. She was wearing the dark wig she'd bought from the store, as well as a small, but familiar, red leather coat, with a red shirt and black leggings underneath, and adorable little black boots.

"Look, Mama!" She declared. "I'm the Scarlet Witch, like you!"

Wanda's heart immediately melted, and she rushed to scoop Viv into her arms.

"Well look at that, I have a micutul de mine.. a mini me" She grinned. "You are a wonderful Scarlet Witch, Fata dulce. Let me just take my things inside and get changed, then we can go Trick-Or-Treating.."

While they were out, they visited the house of an old lady, one they had first met the year before. Viv was perfectly behaved, and the lady made a familiar comment:

"So polite.. Your Mommy and Daddy are doing a wonderful job with you!"

While the same time last year, Wanda and Vision had blustered and fumbled, hurriedly correcting the old woman's mistake.

This time, the pair simply smiled, and thanked her. There was no more mistake to correct.
