I hope you guys enjoy this chapter! As always I'm loving writing this fic-seriously I've written chap 91 I am doing real well in advance right now, making sure I have a backlog! Thank you everyone who's reviewed!

Kakashi and Rin both lifted their heads as the three kids piled into the room giggling from Naruto's revelation of what her seal would do-it was petty but somewhat satisfying (and in the days ahead they did indeed see Danzo walking around, a sour look on his face as he forced himself not to itch, patches of visible skin already red from scratching himself. The Itching powder seal was a resounding success.), and Kakashi raised an eyebrow, "Tsunade-sama's let you go for now?"

"For today, she had some meeting." Sakura said quickly, giving a small shrug, "So I looked for Naru-chan and Sasuke-kun since I knew they were coming to visit Kakashi-sensei today."

"Has Rin-san told you everything?" Sasuke suddenly."

"He has." Kakashi nodded, "I'm very sorry for what was done to Itachi-san. I've always known Danzo was twisted but even I didn't expect that."

"He'll be dealt with." Sasuke's voice was tight, "Hopefully Tsunade-sama will let me be there to see it."

"Would that help?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know. But at least I'd know for sure that justice was done."

"Then it would probably help." Kakashi gave a reassuring nod. "I'm proud of you by the way. All three of you of course but especially you Sasuke-kun. I know that seeing Itachi again would have been hard for you. Rin told me that everyone thought you ran away to go after him but-"

"It was to protect Naruto." Sasuke looked almost sheepish. "I know she's stronger than me but her arm was hurt and I couldn't just sit in Konoha and do nothing-"

"I know. I know I've said this before but those who break the rules are scum-" Kakashi's voice was serious;

"But those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." Rin joined him for the second half of the saying, and the three kids laughed.

"You've been telling me that since I was like six." Naruto shook her head, "I think that message already sunk in."

"And you've already told us that Kakashi-sense." Sakura piped up, "You can definitely tell you guys were teammates."

"I know I already told you it-but the situation with Itachi is the first time you've truly lived up to that little phrase."

"I guess it is." Sasuke paused, "At least for me. Sakura and Naruto've been living up to it since the start pretty much."

"True, but a team is more than two members." Kakashi's expression was sad, "And you didn't learn your lesson too late like I did. It was my teammate Obito who taught me the importance of friendship and teamwork."

"The one who died?" Naruto managed to make her voice softer than usual, "Who I remind you of."

"He was loud and brash like you. He wanted to be the Hokage too." Kakashi closed his visible eye, "He gave me his eye the day he died-the day I lost my eye. He died saving my life. And I learned the meaning of teamwork and friendship."

Naruto bit her lip, watching her mom's expression too-pain in the woman's eyes when she grabbed Kakashi's hand and squeezed gently.

"What happened to him?" that was Sakura, her voice incredibly soft. "I mean-I know you said he died-"

"Some boulders fell on him." Rin looked away, "Crushed his right side. Kakashi had lost his left eye earlier so-"

"So he gave him his uninjured eye." Sasuke nodded slowly, "I bet my dad wasn't happy-"

"Not at all. He wanted my head." Kakashi shook his head, "Luckily Minato-sensei was on my side and he was already known for being a skilled shinobi. That and the fact that Rin backed me up about Obito telling me to take his eye-your father accused me of stealing it at one point."

Sasuke winced, "That... yeah that's a big accusation."

"And gross." Naruto pulled a face, and both Kakashi and Rin burst out laughing, the tension in the room breaking as Kakashi shook his head.

"Naruto-chan, never change. You're ever more blunt than Kushina-nee was and I didn't even know that was possible."

"Made you laugh though." Naruto's little grin was smug and cheeky and Rin rolled her eyes fondly.

"You're always going to be ridiculous aren't you?"

"Well duh." Naruto grinned, folding her arms behind her head, "But you love me like that-"

"Kami knows why."

"Rude."

At that Rin shook her head, "Away with you if you're going to be ridiculous." her voice was playful.

"But mom I'd never be able to come back if you didn't want me to be ridiculous that's just not fair."

"See what I have to put up with Kakashi-kun?"

"You raised her. You have no one to blame but yourself-"

Rin's mouth dropped open and she gaped at Kakashi, who, in response grabbed a familiar orange book off of his bedside table and flipped it open, holding it close to his face, an act which made the three kids burst out laughing and Rin twitched violently.

"You're as bad as them."

"What? Sorry were you talking to me?"

"I'm gonna set Gai on you." Rin grumbled, "And I'm gonna laugh at your suffering-"

"Oh no, the horror." Kakashi drawled, "I've only been dealing with him on my own for the past twelve years, however will I cope this time?"

"I-" Rin blinked, "You know what just shut up."

"And here I thought you couldn't live without me-" Rin's eyes widened at Kakashi's words and her face went bright red.

"I thought you were unconscious!"

"I was conscious enough to hear that."

"I thought you were dying I didn't want to lose my best friend!"

"You love me-"

"I will stab you with pleasure." Rin gave him a rather meaningful look, "Do you want that?"

"Mom! So violent." Naruto gasped the words dramatically, "Don't worry Kakashi-sensei, I'll defend you."

"I know you will Naruto-chan that's why you're my favourite-"

"Suck up!" Sakura shoved her shoulder, and Sasuke snorted.

"It's not really that impressive. All she has to do to be his favourite is not need him to teach her anything."

"Good point." Sakura nodded, "Less work means more time for porn."

"Icha Icha is a holy book." Kakashi's voice was deathly serious though their was a glint of amusement in his eyes. "To simply call it porn is a great disservice."

"You are a literal child." Rin remarked dryly.

"I hope not." Naruto was grinning, "No child should be reading Ero Sennin's books-well other than Tales but like, that totally doesn't count because it's the only book he wrote that wasn't trashy porn and it wasn't even successful-which is ridiculous because it's awesome."

"Only because the main character has the same name as you." Sasuke pointed out, rolling his eyes-"

"Hey, nothing wrong with being excited about sharing the name with an awesome shinobi in a book."

"It's lame." Sasuke teased-and Sakura started to snicker as Naruto's eyes narrowed.

"You take that back."

"Nope." Sasuke popped the P, "Make me-"

"Oh I'll make you!" Naruto launched herself to Sasuke, who darted backwards and sideways, sending her crashing into the wall.

"Yeah right loser."

"Uh oh." Sakura was laughing loudly as she pressed her back to the wall as Sasuke started walking up the wall on the other side of the room to get away from Naruto, with the blonde chasing him.

"Oh for-out!" Rin's voice was sharp, "All three of you, shoo, go now before I murder you all for being chaotic devil children-"

"Rude! I thought we were demon children-

"Nah that's just you."

"I will kick your ass Uchiha-"

"Come get me the-" Sasuke was cut off by Rin leaping onto the ceiling and grabbing him by the back of his shirt.

"If you're going to act like children I'll treat you like children." she turned her gaze to Naruto, who's eyes widened, and then she was bolting to the
door, opening it and fleeing as Rin took off after her.

Less than ten minutes later the kids had been literally tossed out of the hospital by Rin, and ordered to stay away for the rest of the day-which was why after some discussion the trio headed towards a Dango shop that Sasuke had requested, finding three stools next to one another to sit on as Sasuke waved over the man serving, who's eyes widened slightly when he recognized who was in his store.

"Nohara-sama. Haruno-san, Uchiha-san! What would you like to order?"

"I'll have some Hanami Dango please." Sakura smiled politely as Sasuke looked at the list on the wall before speaking.

"Goma Dango please.

"And can I have some Botchan Dango please?" Naruto smiled, and the man nodded.

"Of course Nohara-sama. On the house, anything for Konoha's hero."

That made the blonde flush and Sasuke snickered while Sakura giggled at the blonde's reaction.

"How does it feel to be the hero of the hour?"

"I... I didn't do that much." Naruto protested, "I just-"

"Turned one of the most dangerous of the potential enemies into an ally and singlehandedly intervened in a fight that, let's face it, Sandaime-sama would have probably lost on his own." Sakura said, waving a hand dismissively, "So not much at all all things considered."

There was a long beat of silence and Naruto's face went a bright red before she spoke again.

"Shut up."

That made Sasuke and Sakura burst out laughing.

"Your face is so red." Sasuke smirked, elbowing her, "You'd think the great Nohara-sama would be basking in the praise-"

"I will stab you." Naruto glared at him, "Repeatedly with one of my special kunai."

"Rude." Sakura grinned, nudging her with her shoulder, "You'd think you weren't used to all of the attention or something."

"You know I'm not!"

"Well you're the one who got a bridge named after her-this is just setting your fame in stone so to speak."

"Ugh." Naruto groaned, "You two are evil." she whined the words as the man brought over three plates with their dango on them.

"I hope you enjoy Nohara-sama."

"You really don't have to call me that." Naruto's protest was weak and she knew it.

"You saved Sandaime-sama." the man's voice was firm, "You're a hero Nohara-sama. You deserve to be treated with respect."

"Probably best not to argue." that was Sasuke, "You did literally save the Hokage's life. You were pretty cool, y'know, for a loser."

"Y'know you'd been so nice lately." Naruto pouted, "I liked it when you were being all nice to me."

"Can't let you get used to it." Sasuke smirked.

"It's his job as your big brother." Sakura smirked as Sasuke shot her a dirty look, "You're the one who said it Sasuke-kun. Naruto-chan is totally your baby sister-"

"I regret my words." Sasuke shook his head, "I take them back."

"No can do-" Naruto pounced on Sasuke, plastering herself to his side, arms draped over his shoulders, "You love me! I'm totally your little sister-"

"Hn. Get off me dumbass." Sasuke squirmed, but he didn't push her away, his lips were twitching in an attempt to suppress his laughter.

"You wound me with your words Sasuke-kun, is that any way to talk to your baby sister?"

"I loathe you with every fiber of my being."

"Sakura-chan! Sakura-chan Sasuke-kun is picking on me!"

"Sasuke-kun how could you?" Sakura gasped in mock horror.

"Shut up and eat your stupid dango." Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"Okay." Naruto shifted, grabbing her dango with one hand and still staying draped over his side-annoying Sasuke was always great fun so of course she'd make the most of it.

"I-are you kidding me?" Sasuke twitched as Sakura burst out laughing again, "Get off me loser."

"But Sasuke-kun I'm comfortable here."

"I don't care if you're comfortable you make it awkward to eat my dango."

"I'm not moving." to emphasize her point Naruto took a bite of her dango, chewing and swallowing with a smirk before poking her tongue out.

"You're the worst. The literal worst. Get off me!"

"Never-"

"Sakura-chan." Sasuke turned a pleading gaze to the pink haired girl.

"What's in it for me."

"My eternal gratitude."

"Hm, nah-"

"I'll buy you flowers from the Yamanka's shop." Sasuke said quickly, "And have Ino write on the tag-"

"Now that's a good deal." Sakura hopped off her seat and moved around, grabbing Naruto's ear and dragging the yelping blonde away from the dark haired boy, batting away Naruto's flailing arms.

And together team Seven ate their food and talked and laughed, a light warm warmth surrounding them. Maybe thing weren't perfect, there were issues and threats on the horizon, worries all three of them were dealing with, but they were happy, things were, at least for that moment, perfect.
