Now I hope you enjoy this new piece in our story.

Mundungus sits down next to me as I prepare to get up. I give him a small rundown of the evening but he already seems bored. I wonder whoever thought he might be a good person to do this. He obviously couldn't care any less. Tonks is standing by the alley between the houses to say goodbye. She's back with her bubblegum pink hair.

"You could stay with us, Mom won't mind"

I thank her for the offer but decline politely. I walk into the house, hearing a woman screaming but when I look to my left to the painting of Sirius his mother, she's quiet. This can't be good.

"I'm your mother and I say you stay out of this. Your father agrees with me. You will not join the order and that's final."

Sirius sneaks out of the kitchen and can't help but grin when he sees me.

"Might not wanna go in there if I were you."

"Duly noted. Have a room to spare?"

He starts scratching the back of his head.

"Rooms enough but they're not really clean… lots and lots of dust."

I shrug and walk into the drawing room on the first floor with him. We sit by the fire drowning in our thoughts.

"I wish I could go outside, this house doesn't really carry the best memories for me." He keeps looking in the fire. A sadness shimmering in his eyes, seeming to forget I was standing there with him. He shakes his head in an attempt to clear his head.

"You look like your father with the short black hair." He smiles again with a sudden sadness.

We hear cursing coming from downstairs and people stomping on the stairs. I recognize the grumbling. I turn away from the doorway. Molly won't be happy to see me after her discussion, might as well stay out of her hair.

"Hey Sirius, where can we crash or HIDE FROM OUR MOTHER WITH OUR CHILDISH JOKES." Fred screams clearly annoyed. "Ow, who is this?"

I shake my head ever so slightly to avoid the attention.

"Rose Evans, one of our eyes and ears on the street."

I wave some fingers without turning around.

"your room is on the third floor across your parents I'm afraid…"

Fred grumbles as he climbs the next flight of stairs. George lingers. I feel his eyes burning in my back. I hear him sigh softly and walk away. When I hear a door slam shut, I slap Sirius on his arm.

"Rose?! Really? You know how much I hate my middle name… Really Mom should have known I'm not a Rose…"

"That's right… You're more of a Sage…"

I chuckle as I sit down in the dusty sofa.

"Don't you want to talk to your boyfriend? I heard you guys were pretty serious…"

I shrug my shoulders and twirl my wand between my fingers.

"Have you seen his mother angry? I mean like yeesh..." I mumble. That earns me a chuckle from his side.

"I thought you loved the guy. Sometimes love isn't easy… But what would I know… I spend so long in Azkaban…"

I put my hand on his arm.

"And you got out when Harry needed you to protect him… You're a good man Sirius."

He gets up no longer willing to get lost in thoughts about the past.

"The room across is that Weasley girl's room. The room next to it, is free if you want it, it could be yours…"

I nod and walk into the dusty room. I struggle to open a window, I keep pushing on the frame but it won't budge. A larger hand covers my own and opens it effortlessly. The fingers intertwine with my own.

"Rose? You hate that name…" He whispers in my ear.

"At least someone listens to me when I grumble…" I whisper fondly while squeezing his fingers.

"Isn't that like in my job description, right underneath recognizing your girlfriend when she's trying to hide in plain sight. Your stance gives you away…" He chuckles.

I turn around and look up to see his face. His eyes burning with love, golden flecks shimmering in the reflection of the streetlights. I cup his check, he leans into the touch.

"How is it, that I miss you so much even if it's only been a day since I saw you?" He murmurs as he leans his forehead against my own. His nose softly touching my own.

"Don't let Fred hear you. He might think you've grown soft…"

I giggle as I close my eyes. I let his smell surround me and calm the excitement of the last two days. I really needed to slow down.

My comment earns me a chuckle and he playfully pulls me against his chest.

"My mother would freak if she knew I was in here with you… without a chaperone." He playfully wiggles his eyebrows.

"If I heard correctly your mother snuck out plenty of times at Hogwarts to be with your father…"

"Thanks for the image in my head." He groans while he looks at the door with suspicion.

"What's wrong?" I wonder out loud.

"Nothing… Fred is keeping watch on our floor, if mom would come down. We're safe."

I push him playfully as I walk towards the bed. I start to pull all the sheets off to get the dust out. He starts to help me without saying a word. I can feel his eyes on me from time to time.

"Take a picture Weasley, it'll last longer." I tease.

"I'd love to, but no camera at hand, so I'll keep staring, thank you." He gives me one of his beautiful smiles filled with mischief.

Once we put some new sheets on the bed and the room is finally ventilated enough to breath, we fall down on the bed.

"So 'the order of the phoenix', care to elaborate?" He asks as he toys with my fingers.

"Don't know what I'm allowed to tell really…" I whisper while watching the ceiling.

Dust keeps dancing in the air, distracting me from his curious eyes.

"You're in it apparently…" He starts again.

"Because I want to be in it and kind of have to as well… My parents were in it, my godfather, my uncles,… How else am I going to stay in the loop of things. I'm not a child…" I roll over to lay on my stomach so I can look him in the eyes.

"Neither am I" He says with conviction.

"True, but you have a mother who would rather keep you safe than involved…"

He groans as he closes his eyes.

"I'm seventeen years old, I can take care of myself." He grumbles.

"Is that why you always need me to check your potions?" I tease to relieve the tension.

"You know what I mean Alli. I'm ready to take my place in this battle. I can do good and help…" He opens his eyes to look at the ceiling. You can see the battle in his thoughts raging in his eyes.

"I have to be ready to…" He stops and looks at me.

"To? To do what George?"

"To keep you safe and alive… I'm in this for the long run Allison Potter, you better be warned."

The words make my cheeks burn with emotion. His eyes burn with sincerity.

"As am I" I vow as I kiss him softly to make my point.

*poof*

"I'm not looking, I swear but mom is about to burst into our room. I think she's suspicious of us being so quiet. You better come back up George." Fred is standing by the window with his hands before his eyes.

I snicker and push George out of the bed.

"I'll see you two in the morning."

Fred apparates away immediately. George hesitates but leaves as well.

Food for thoughts while the screams starts once more a couple of floors above me...
