"Toshi… Toshi…"

He groaned, opening his good eye a crack to find Shouta crouching beside the bed.

"It's time."

Dad offered a soft smile with a light tap on the cheek.

"Get dressed; I'll meet you downstairs when you're ready."

Still half-asleep it took a few seconds before Hitoshi fully understood what his father had just told him.

His eyes widened as he threw back the covers and rushed out of bed to grab his costume.

Game on, bastards!

When he walked downstairs Hizashi was in the hallway looking incredibly worried and his attempts to hide it were less than effective. Papa was currently fussing over Dad, wrapping escaped strands of the capture weapon around his neck with the rest.

"Zashi, it's going to be okay."

Shouta took his husband's hands and squeezed them gently, raising them both to press a soft kiss to the ring on his finger.

Zashi tried to smile but it didn't quite come to pass, instead he took a breath before walking over to him.

Hitoshi offered a smile he hoped would be reassuring but judging by his father's expression, nothing was going to make him feel better until they were both home from the raid.

Hizashi went to speak but swallowed the words as the shake in his throat appeared; instead he pulled him into a tight hug, stroking a hand through his hair. As they pulled away, the voice hero handed him his mask.

"Thanks."

He nodded.

"Got everything Tosh?"

"Yes."

"Okay then." Shouta opened the door before placing his hand on Hitoshi's back as they left the house. The two of them turned back to Hizashi when they reached the driveway.

Papa was trying not to cry at this point.

"Just… come back to me… please."

The simple words left Hitoshi feeling lost of any grasp of language to attempt a response, finding himself clammed up.

Luckily Dad seemed to know exactly what to say.

"We'll be back before you know it."

"With Eri safe." Hitoshi added.

"Good." The voice hero smiled. "Love you."

"Love you too, Papa."

"Love you."

Unlike Dad who was scheduled to meet with the other pros, Hitoshi and his classmates had to report to their internship agencies to receive their instructions and their role in the raid which was why he, Zuku, and Mirio-senpai were sat aboard the train half-freezing to death. With their coats wrapped around them dual-purposing for warmth and to disguise their costumes they'd made sure to hide their support items in the big three member's duffel bag.

"This is the Hero Line train to Gento City, the next stop is Tatooin Station, alight here for city centre shopping and local bus services."

None of them spoke.

Hitoshi attempted to silence his brain by watching the scenery pass by outside the windows.

The train slowed.

"This is Tatooin Station, alight here for city centre shopping and local bus services."

The doors opened to an empty platform, a cold wind blew into the carriage causing Hitoshi to shiver despite the large coat he was wearing.

They were moving once again a few seconds later.

"The next stop is Kaijo City, alight here for Hero Agencies."

The sun was still yet to rise with the country asleep in their beds, happily unaware of the horror of the yazuka group operating so close by under their noses. Unaware of the young girl being treated as a lab rat. Unaware of what he and the other heroes were about to carry out on the hopefully unsuspecting Shie Hassaikai group.

He turned to his cousin noticing the vibration in Zuku's feet.

Hitoshi reached out and wordlessly placed a hand on his shoulder.

"This is Kaijo City, alight here for Hero Agencies."

"Come on." Mirio-senpai spoke up.

The two of them followed him out of the doors and onto the platform, the brisk temperature sharp and unpleasant.

Hitoshi yawned, a puff of steam pouring from his mouth as he did so.

Zuku shivered as he pulled his coat tighter around himself.

"I hope Sir has the heating on." Mirio-senpai joked.

That got a smile from the two of them.

"He's too stingy." Hitoshi replied with a smirk.

They laughed.

Arriving at the agency Zuku volunteered to help Mirio-senpai get everything loaded up leaving Hitoshi to look around for Sir.

He passed Bubble Girl during his search, the pro wishing him the best before he finally found Nighteye in his office.

In hindsight he probably should have tried there first but it didn't really matter in the long run. As he reached the door a familiar scene was unfolding through the glass.

Sir's husband looked much the same as Hizashi had as he embraced his husband, their hands interlinked as they shared a kiss.

Hitoshi smiled, backing up a little down the corridor to allow them some privacy.

In the meantime he needed to check his support gear, which he knew he probably should have tested before he'd left the house, but he'd not really had the time to do so. He wrapped his capture weapon around his neck before turning on his voice manipulator. After it's unfortunate demise the incredible Miss. Hatsume was thankfully able to make him another one with a promise to take better care of her precious baby.

There was no way he was going to wreck this one.

Hitoshi ran his finger over the gold calligraphy written inside the mask.

'tomorrow needs you, little listener and so do I'

He clicked the gear in place before taking a breath.

"Okay, let's see if I've still got it."

Hitoshi closed his eyes.

"Tomorrow- nope, that's… I don't know who that is but it's not Papa." He shook his head with a smirk. "Tomorrow ne- uh uh… okay you're too hard I'll try Dad."

He adjusted the mask a little.

"You're going to be okay, Hitoshi."

First try!

Hitoshi smiled.

"You're expelled!" He exclaimed, giggling to himself as he popped on his goggles, resting them on top of his head.

"Hitoshi?"

Sir was stood by the door of the office, his husband behind him looking confused.

"Shit…" His eyes widened as the voice was still his father's before he quickly clicked the mask down from his mouth, allowing it to rest round his neck. "Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you I was just practicing."

His husband smirked.

"That was pretty cool, how d'you do that?"

"I believe the two of you have already met, but this is Hitoshi Aizawa, he is the son of Eraserhead and Present Mic so they have both been teaching him how to use their support gear." Sir explained.

"Your Dad is Present Mic, wow, that's pretty cool."

"You're such a fanboy, Eiichi." Sir teased before turning to his husband. "We need to be going now; I'll see you when I get back."

Eiichi took a breath before nodding.

"How about we go out for breakfast to celebrate, your choice?"

Sir smiled.

"I would like that."

"Then it's a date. Be safe, okay?" Eiichi took his husband's hand, clearly not wanting to let go before giving it a squeeze and eventually releasing his grip.

"I will." Sir turned to him. "I'm going to see how the others are getting on, we'll be leaving soon so make sure you have everything you need, I'll meet you outside in ten, got it?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Good." He walked off.

Hitoshi went to make tracks too.

"Hey…" Eiichi spoke up softly.

He halted and turned back to face him.

"Look after yourselves out there, from what Rai's been saying these guys are… well they're awful people. He'd kill me for saying this but, look after him for me would you, he always gets so focused that he forgets to take care of himself and he doesn't exactly have Toshinori as back up anymore."

Hitoshi nodded.

"I will."

"Thank you."
