"We heard you two had a false alarm yesterday," Hank grinned as Luis let him into the townhouse.

Sitting on the couch, Sheridan stretched out her back and massaged the sides of her belly. "If you can even call it that. I don't know—I don't think this little girl really wants to come out."

Her eyes twinkling, Gwen smiled and sat down next to Sheridan. "I bet she's just waiting to make a dramatic entrance."

"Let's hope not," Sheridan laughed.

"Well, however she decides to make her entrance, she better make it soon," Hank teased. "We've got a big job for her."

"A job?" Sheridan furrowed her brow. "What are you talking about, Hank?"

Hank smiled at Gwen. "Do you want to do the honors?"

Beaming, Gwen nodded and held out her hand. "Hank proposed last night!"

"Oh, Gwen!" Sheridan gasped. "I can't believe I didn't notice this."

"Congratulations, buddy!" Luis slapped Hank on the back.

"Yes—we're so happy for you two!" Sheridan gushed. "And I'm sorry—I want to give you both a hug," she laughed, propping herself up on the couch. "I just can't move that fast."

"Don't worry about it." Gwen helped Sheridan shift to a more comfortable position. "You have a lot going on right now."

Hank grinned at Luis. "We're quite the lucky bastards—aren't we? We couldn't have asked for more incredible women."

"No, we couldn't have." Luis smiled at Sheridan.

Sheridan blushed and blew him a kiss.

His smile growing, Hank reached over and squeezed Gwen's hand. "I would ask them to tone down the sap, but I'm on top of the world right now."

Gwen beamed up at Hank. "So am I. I'll never forget how loved you made me feel when you proposed yesterday—you really thought of everything."

"Yeah, well, this proposal has been weeks in the making," Luis laughed. "You should have seen the hoops this guy jumped through to get everything just right."

"I'm just happy I didn't accidentally slip up at my baby shower," Sheridan smiled. "I almost blew it for a minute there."

"Yeah, well, from what I've heard, Kay really didn't help matters at all," Hank chuckled. "My niece is quite the troublemaker. We may want to rethink having her in the wedding party, Gwen."

"Leave Kay alone," Gwen laughed. "I really want her up there with us."

Her eyes sparkling, Gwen looked at Luis and Sheridan. "We were hoping you two would stand up there with us, too—as our best man and matron of honor."

"We'd be honored to," Sheridan smiled.

"Don't forget the flower girl," Hank said. "We want our goddaughter to be part of our day, too."

"I could never forget her," Gwen replied. "I'm waiting on pins and needles to meet her."

Sheridan sighed, laughed, and rubbed her belly. "So am I, Gwen. So am I."

Luis knelt down on the other side of Sheridan and cupped his hand over her belly. "Our munchkin is already special to so many people, isn't she?"

Tears gathering in the corners of her eyes, Sheridan beamed at Luis. "Yes—she certainly is."
