Hey everyone, so here's the final chapter of my first fanfic, Come Back. I'd just like to thank everyone who has stuck by this story and read it, it's been great knowing there's still people who are interested in Braxton related stories. Also thank you to Braxtonboyzz123, Bonnie Sveen Fan, FrankElza, Braxton54, Chlo1107, AtlantaG1912 and Cherish Hope for leaving reviews, I loved reading what people thought about it (sorry if I've left anyone out). I do have another fanfic in the works so keep your eyes peeled for it :) Anyway, here's the chapter, I hope you enjoy it!
Things had been going well for Kyle since returning to work. He loved that he could have Lillie and Bruno with him, finding that it wasn't distracting him from his work too much. Brax had also brought Emilia with him to work sometimes now that Ricky had a lot of photography clients. Then Bianca, Ricky and Denny found the set up in the office cute, much to Brax's displacement when they kept mentioning it.
"There's two meetings that have been double booked next week. Do you want me to do one of them?" Kyle asks as he looks through the diary at one of the tables, not having opened the restaurant up to give them some time. They had brought the play mat and toys out for Lillie and Emilia, letting them play beside them.
"I can rearrange it if you're not ready for it." Brax says as Heath and Casey walk over to them.
"No, I can do it." Kyle says. "I'm sure Casey could do with some more practise."
"What's this?" Casey asks.
"I'm going to one of the meetings next Thursday. Want to look after Lillie for me?" Kyle asks.
"Emilia will also need a babysitter as Ricky has a photoshoot." Brax says.
"Yeah, I can do it." Casey nods.
"I can take Emilia as well, Darcy's been asking when she can play with them some more." Heath says.
"Great, that's sorted then." Kyle says.
"What about Bruno?" Casey asks.
"He'll be with me. It's my first meeting so I may need him." Kyle says, his brothers seeing a huge change in him.
"You're doing great bro, you've come a long way." Heath smiles.
"We knew you could do it." Casey smiles.
"It's not a huge meeting, so you don't need to be too prepared." Brax says.
"Is that why you're letting me do it?" Kyle asks, lightly smirking.
"No, I forgot I already had one on." Brax shakes his head, hearing people coming up the stairs. "Did you turn the sign around on your way up?"
"Nope, it was still on 'closed' when we came up." Heath says, their partners coming into sight seconds later. "Told you." He chuckles.
"Hey! Thought you might all be up here." Ricky smiles. "How come the restaurant's shut up?"
"He wanted some time to go through some things before opening. It's more peaceful and then we can have the kids play out here." Brax says, smiling down at them.
"Dada." Lillie says.
"She's very vocal now." Bianca smiles.
"She said 'dog' the other day." Kyle proudly smiles as he picks her up, Brax picking Emilia up.
"I can't wait until we can have moments like that." Denny grins, looking at Casey.
"Means I can finally join your father and baby group without needing to steal Bruno every time." Casey smiles at his brothers.
"Yeah, bonus for me." Kyle mutters, laughing at Casey's face.
"You think he'll watch over my kids like he does with Lillie and Emilia?" Casey asks, smiling at how he was doing it now.
"I think he will." Bianca says, noticing a huge change in the atmosphere now, they all could and they loved it.
"When you look after him for me, yeah I guess he will." Kyle nods. "I bet you're twins will get on with Lillie and Emilia really well, they're really friendly considering."
"Considering what?" Brax asks.
"Well they don't mind sharing their toys and I haven't seen any of the stubborn Braxton attitude in them yet." Kyle smirks.
"It will come with time." Heath grins. "Although Harley is doing a lot better now, so the terrible twos aren't that bad once you get it under control."
"Don't jinx it." Bianca moans, not wanting him to start playing up again.
"Where are your kids?" Brax asks.
"At mums." Heath says. "She wanted me to ask when you're going to take Emilia round next."
"Of course she did." Brax rolls his eyes, having only took her round a few days before. "Tell her it will be sometime this week, I just don't know when."
"She wants to see Lillie as well." Heath says, taking Kyle by surprise.
"She does?" Kyle frowns.
"Yeah, course she does." Heath nods.
"Right… Well Brax can take her when he takes Emilia." Kyle says, glancing at his eldest brother.
"What about you?" Heath asks.
"What about me?"
"Well you are her stepson after all, and she wants to see you and her granddaughter." Heath smirks.
"It still can't get used to that." Kyle shakes his head.
"There's plenty of staff on Friday, we can go then." Brax says, smiling at his brother.
"Yeah, okay." Kyle says, lightly shaking his head.
"You decided when you're getting married yet, Kyle?" Heath asks.
"Well I need a girlfriend to get married, so no, not yet." Kyle scoffs. "I'm focusing on Lillie for a while, and I haven't even met anyone. It's not like there's a rush, is there?"
"No, but you're the only one us that isn't married or even in a relationship." Heath says.
"You'll find a great girl one day, there's no rush." Bianca says, shaking her head at her husband.
"Exactly. I'm doing great at the moment and I don't feel like I need one yet. Lillie needs me more and I'm happy with how things are. Don't you think the house is going to be busy enough with twins on the way, without another person as well?" Kyle smirks.
"The twins would share a room anyway and if you got a girlfriend, she'd be in with you. So technically it wouldn't be much busier." Casey says.
"You do know how loud twins are going to be, right?" Kyle laughs.
"I'm glad we'll be in the flat." Brax says to Ricky.
"I'm in the room next to them, how'd you think I feel?" Kyle jokes.
"Are you complaining about me having twins, Kyle?" Casey challenges.
"Nope, you will be when they get here. Who completely messed up a nappy change?"
"I had never done one before!" Casey moans, hating that it kept being brought up. "It's not my fault the pictures weren't clear enough."
"They were very clear, you just didn't follow them." Denny laughs.
"At least you can attend lots of pre-natal classes to get yourself prepared for when they arrive." Ricky says.
"Exactly, we're going to go to every one possible." Denny says, glancing at Casey. "We're going to get you so prepared that you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed." She smiles.
"You'll be fine, Case. It's not that hard once you get used to it." Brax says.
"It's going to be amazing, so I don't mind what's thrown at us." Casey smiles. "Our family is great now, we can finally enjoy life without anything getting in the way."
"It's going to last this time, we'll make sure of it. Not that there's anything to watch out for. Everything bad in being left in the past, we've got kids now." Heath agrees.
"Something I never thought would have happened for you two." Casey says, looking at his two eldest brothers.
"Things change, don't they." Brax says. "I never thought we had another brother, then he turned up." He smirks at Kyle.
"You can't really complain, you got another niece and a dog out of it." Kyle smiles.
"I never wanted that dog." Brax says.
"Really?" Kyle raises an eyebrow. "Is that why when you were looking after him during my counselling sessions, I'd come out to see you playing with him?"
"That never happened!" Brax says.
"Yes it did!" Kyle laughs.
"You can't lie to me, and that was a lie." Ricky laughs, them all joining in.
This was their family now and it's the one thing that made them all happiest, nothing could change that for them, not now. They were becoming stronger, growing their family and making a good life for themselves, something they had wanted more than ever. It was to last, every one of them was sure of it.
THE END
