Angel: For some reason, chapters on my stories don't appear until later on even though I do update them. I can access the chapters I uploaded both on my computer and my phone on Fanfiction, so I'm not sure what's really going on there. Hopefully that got fixed!
Oh boy, with new episodes coming out tomorrow, I haven't even started with the rewrites yet. I had a crazy weekend, things might be a little less crazy this week I hope.
Honey Lemon hums as everyone besides Fred is in the Lucky Cat. She and the twins are eating cupcakes with pink frosting, Wasabi rubbing his belly. GoGo is picking her teeth.
"Hmm, Aunt Cass' new gluten-free cupcake recipe is amazing!"
"And I'm a vegetarian, so it worked out," Hana bites into the frosting.
"I can make no judgement because I have no food hole," Mini-Max states while sitting on Baymax's head.
"So...Hana, are you okay? Since...you didn't find out who Hardlight was and Ian was arrested," Honey Lemon asks in sympathy.
"I'll be okay. Hardlight will definitely show up again, and I'll be ready this time. And Ian...um, it'll be fine," Hana tells her, even though her eyes betray her. She hasn't been the same ever since he was fired, because a million thoughts go through her head every time she's reminded about it. And not to mention that she doesn't want to address the fact that he said he loved her. She didn't even know what the extent of that was, but right now, she's not ready for an explanation. And this also includes going to see him for questions, since she's not ready for that either. An officer was already imprisoned because of her, she doesn't want to be reminded that a friend of hers is in jail because of her.
"Aren't you...gonna see him?" Wasabi wonders slowly. "Don't you think you'd help him that way?"
She stands up, avoiding the question. "I'm gonna get a refill of my cocoa, who wants me to get them a refill of their drink?"
"I do!" Honey Lemon replies eagerly.
"Me," GoGo simply states.
"Here," Hiro raises a hand.
"Love one," Wasabi speaks up.
"I do not have a mouth to digest liquids."
"Neither do I, my fellow comrade!"
Hana chuckles at Baymax and Mini-Max, putting her headphones on as she reaches the counter. Hiro sighs, turning to his friends.
"She's still not comfortable talking about it, guys. Nothing personal."
"We understand," Honey Lemon frowns a little. "It can't be easy seeing a friend get arrested."
"Yeah, okay. Friends," Hiro mutters, looking away. He's still a bit wary of that, but he does support his sister, so he'll let it go for now...baby steps.
"Let me guess, you still think it's Hardlight?" Wasabi asks knowingly.
"I definitely don't rule him out," Hiro leans back, crossing his arms. "But I'm not telling her that. She's my sister, I can't just not support her decisions even if I don't agree with them. It's just...he's way older than her! He can't love someone Hana's age."
"Yeah...it is illegal and gross," GoGo glances to the others.
"But maybe he didn't mean in that way?" Honey Lemon wonders a bit optimistically. "I would hate for Hana to be uncomfortable if that's the case."
"We won't know until he says that himself," Wasabi states and Hiro nods a little.
"I just...I wish I could be there for her."
"The best way to help Hana right now is to comfort her when she needs us!" Honey Lemon pumps her fists encouragingly. "She's done the same for us, now it's up to her best friends to do it right back!"
"Yeah...you're right. Thanks," Hiro smiles slightly.
Fred opens the door with a dejected look on his face. "Guys, guys, guys, guys..." Usually he'd say this excitedly, but now he just looks bummed. He lands on the table in the middle of his friends. Hana glances over her shoulder and then turns to her aunt. "Guys..."
"Aunt Cass, can I also get a mango smoothie for Fred?"
"Fred? W-What's wrong?" Hiro asks in concern as they look down at him.
"Forgot to save your progress on some dumb video game? Again?" GoGo remarks, arms crossed.
"I...am wounded," Fred replies, getting into a fetal position.
"Do you require medical assistance?"
He just lays himself down in Baymax's arms. "Only if you can mend a broken heart!"
"Cardiac surgery is not in my healthcare protocol. But I can download instructions. Downloaded," One of his fingers turns into a surgical knife, going towards Fred's chest. Thankfully Honey Lemon steps in to stop him.
"No, Baymax, he's talking about his feelings," She explains gently.
"Don't ask, don't ask, don't ask," GoGo mutters behind her. "Don't ask-"
"What happened, Freddie?"
GoGo groans out loud, planting her face into the table.
"Well, I was in the middle of some very important research."
Fred was in Richardson's store, looking around for a comic of course. "That's when I saw it. Duck Duck Moose, number 57. An obscure issue of an obscure comic." He put on gloves so that he didn't tarnish the quality of it. "I had never met another fan until..."
When he reached out and grabbed one side, someone grabbed the other. He turned to see a girl with light blue hair, glasses, a cat-eared hat, a black jacket, a pink shirt, blue skirt, blue jeans, white sneakers with yellow socks, and she had a nose ring.
"Olivia."
"You know Duck Duck Moose?" He asked her incredibly.
"Duh! It's hilarious! Did you know there are only a thousand copies of issue number 57?" She pushed up her glasses and he smiled. "My favorite part is on page 17."
He squealed upon hearing that. "Bottom left panel?"
"Yeah! When Moose is the one that ducks?" They both bend down, laughing. She slapped his knee lightly and he let go of the comic, staring at her. "So good."
He stood up and smiled at her, earning a smile in return.
What is my brain feeling?
Why is my heart squealing?
He literally jumped for joy in his mind, his heart red.
What is this mush?
Oh no, it's a nerd crush
He started dancing with hearts.
Nerd crush
Nerd crush
He fell into a pile of hearts.
Nothing will ever be the same-
"It was love at first obscure reference," Fred continues sadly.
"Aw, Fred," Honey Lemon replies, feeling for him.
"Classic meet cute," Wasabi comments at this.
"I have no food hole!" Mini-Max cries out again.
"Hit me the sad," GoGo can tell that obviously something went wrong afterwards.
"Okay, here's what happened."
Fred came back to Earth as he stared at Olivia, smiling widely. "So, I was wondering if you'd maybe wanna go with me this Saturday to a charity benefit? My family goes every year," He casually leaned on the counter.
"To Save the Sloths Benefit?" Olivia pushed up her glasses, smiling as she hugged the comic. "My family goes every year too!"
"Oh, cool. My family is actually a sponsor," He then leaned on the bookshelf, hoping to impress her.
"...Mine too," She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, getting a bad feeling. "Wait, who is your family?"
"The Fredericksons."
Her mouth opened wide and then she groaned. Olivia shoved the comic book in his hand, storming off to his confusion. Then he fell onto his knees.
"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY?!"
"So now I am alone...forever," Fred states, sniffling on the table. Even GoGo couldn't help but feel bad for him, she wasn't that mean to people.
"Fred, you are not alone," Baymax speaks up. "There are seven of us. Big-"
"Wait!" Hana interrupts, glancing around for Aunt Cass. She then gives them a thumbs up when they're good.
"Big Hero 7."
The six clap twice, pumping a fist in the air in unison. Hana goes back to preparing their drinks. "I don't get it," Hiro starts off. "What's wrong with you being a Frederickson?"
"It's because Olivia's last name is-"
"Mole!" The two boys appear out of nowhere, scaring Wasabi. "She's my cousin and Robertson's older sister!"
"How long have you been there?" Wasabi asks incredibly. Hana, upon hearing their voices, turns up the volume so that she doesn't have to listen to them.
"Long enough for this sap to cry me a river," Richardson brags, smirking at Fred's pain.
"I was hoping for the day they'd meet so that we could watch him get roasted!" Robertson grins a bit.
"Fred's body does not contain enough hydration to cry a river," Baymax shows a diagram of a body with water in it.
"I thought robots were supposed to be fun," Richardson pokes at his belly.
"My primary function is medical-"
"Don't care," The boy holds up a hand, bending down to Fred. "It's only natural you would fall for Olivia. We Moles are all love magnets," He winks at GoGo, who moves away the heart in disgust. Robertson is about to do the same with Hana when Hiro clears his throat, crossing his arms. He sinks slightly, not wanting to know what the older boy would do to him.
"But we're repelled by Fredericksons! You know what the best part is? My security cameras caught the whole thing!" He holds up his phone to show the footage that had occurred minutes ago.
"The Fredericksons," Fred tells Olivia in the store.
She groans and shoves the comic into his hands, walking away. Fred falls onto his knees again. "WHHHHHHHHHHHHY?!"
Richardson just laughs as Fred lays there, broken. "Let's see that again in slow-motion."
"The Fredericksons," Fred repeats slower. The comic being shoved into his hands earns a smack sound as she leaves. His knees slowly hit the floor.
"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY?" He cries out slower.
"Mm, your pain is like sweet, sweet candy!" Richardson snuggles the phone.
"We should post that," Robertson suggests to him.
"No," Hiro takes away their phones before they could, standing up for his friend. "Back off, Moles."
"It's okay, Hiro," Fred places a hand on his shoulder. "I deserve to be mocked."
"Wait, what?" The two Moles ask in confusion just as Olivia comes in, holding her bag and wearing headphones. Hana is trying to remember the customizations for her friends' drinks, since they all like them in specific ways. She may have taken over for Aunt Cass during her food-fighting phase, but the 14-year-old is nowhere near as excellent in this type of skill as her.
"Yeah, my life has no meaning, so who cares?" Fred sits up to face his enemies. "Let's watch it again!" He snatches away Richardson's phone from Hiro. "In super slow-mo!"
Fred screams even slower this time from the video.
"Wow," Richardson's eyes widen. "You hit rock bottom really fast," He rubs his chin.
"Gotta say, wasn't expecting this," Robertson pushes up his glasses.
"Then I'll guess you'll be going," Wasabi leans in towards him in annoyance, wanting them to leave and stop picking on Fred.
"Despite my heavy instinct, I'm going to help you, Fred," Richardson takes his phone back.
"...Why?" Fred questions slowly, narrowing his eyes.
"I can't let Olivia destroy you!" He points a finger at Fred's chest, jerking a thumb to himself. "That's our job."
"Look, I'm sad, not stupid," Fred denies, crossing his arms. "You'd never try to help me."
"I know Olivia," Richardson replies smugly.
"Not more than I do," Robertson pushes up his glasses.
"Her last boyfriend, Javert, and us were pretty tight. We know the kind of man she likes."
"He's a creep," GoGo warns first.
"I wouldn't," Honey Lemon adds in warily.
"Bad idea," Hiro comments to him.
"Just no..."
"That is not advisable," Even Baymax disagrees with this.
Olivia walks right past them, not noticing Fred. He looks at her longingly. "I'm in the pits of despair and Richardson is my only ladder..." Fred holds out a hand, which Richardson shakes.
Hana turns around, holding four drinks on her arms and one on her head. "I got our drink-" She pauses at seeing Olivia, eyes widening. She glances between her hat and Fred's, and then her colors. "...AHH!" She turns around and runs off, dropping the drinks onto the floor. She rushes upstairs, Olivia raising a brow and looking a little offended. The others are just confused, wondering why she reacted that way since they've never met.
"They're multiplying again!"
"Uh, what?" Hiro asks, wondering for an explanation.
"Ohh," Fred rubs his neck sheepishly. "Yeah, I kinda accidentally multiplied myself in Baymax's memories..."
Hiro sighs wearily, standing up. "I'll get her..." He rushes off to go find his sister, Olivia seeing Fred. He looks up at her hopefully and she looks a bit put off, turning around and leaving. She came here for a coffee, but will be going elsewhere...
"You multiplied yourself?" GoGo raises a brow at him.
"Not interested," Richardson waves it off, walking off with his cousin. "I'll text you the details, Frederickson."
"Funny story, we're in Baymax's mind even though Hiro wasn't there, and we-"
Hiro runs back to them a few seconds later, sliding to a stop at their table. "Guys, Hana's locked herself in the bathroom."
"Is she gonna come out?" Honey Lemon wonders in slight concern.
"I don't know. She took my chair in there..." Hiro rubs his neck awkwardly. "At least it wasn't food."
"Hana, get out of the bathroom! Fred didn't duplicate himself again!" GoGo calls out to her loudly.
"No!" Hana shouts back stubbornly from the bathroom, and her voice is very faint since she's so far away.
A makeover
Gonna get a makeover
The two Moles start fixing Fred up. Robertson puts gel in his hair, Richardson taking a sip of his drink.
Just one person
They brush his hair with a feather duster, taking out a marker.
This is a makeover
They get one of his suits and put it on him, tightening up everything
A makeover montage
Richardson kisses his fingers once they're done. "I am a genius and you are my masterpiece. I will call you...Frederic!"
Robertson looks annoyed by his cousin's statement since he helped out too.
"What?!" Hana exclaims once she's heard the full story from Hiro, pacing around in front of him. He's trying to get her to come back in front of him, because they're getting ready for the benefit. It was to save sloths, of course Hana was gonna go. "I can't believe Olivia! Why would she do that to Fred?"
"It is kind of mean to judge someone just by their last name," Hiro states while rubbing his chin. "I bet her brother and her cousin had something to do with it—hold still, sis!"
"How can I hold still when Fred has a broken heart all because she judged him?" She turns around to him, gesturing to her heart. "I felt just as crushed as him when Vivian first started bullying me! You know how ashamed I was after I found out she was posing as the boy I had a crush on?"
Hiro frowns a bit as he sits her down in front of him in their room. He starts brushing her hair, despite the fact they both know it'll still be messy, but they could make it work somehow...
"Yeah...I do. Sometimes I still feel guilty about not doing anything sooner."
"If things hadn't happened the way they did, we probably wouldn't be sitting here right now. So don't worry about it," She states, brushing a stray bang away from her face. "No matter what, you'll still be my big brother. But you guys shouldn't have let him get a makeover by those Moles, I don't like this."
"I know," He sighs a little, continuing with her hair. "But he seemed pretty determined, it's not like we can watch him 24/7."
"And the next time I see those two little brats, I'm kicking them out myself. I've already asked Aunt Cass to make a ban list with their names listed first," She crosses her arms, putting one leg over the other.
"Wouldn't put it past you," He murmurs, tugging on her hair a bit with the brush.
"Ouch!"
"Sorry!"
"On a scale of one to ten-"
"Zero," Hana grumbles as Hiro smiles sheepishly at her. They may be geniuses, but their hair was one mystery they couldn't solve.
The six are standing in line to enter the benefit. Wasabi is wearing a black jacket with a white shirt, green tie, and pants. Baymax has a simple bow tie around his neck. Hiro has a dark grey coat over a light grey shirt and a dark grey tie with dark grey pants. GoGo for once is wearing a dress, which Honey Lemon and Hana had to spend minutes just trying to get her to wear it. She has on a magenta halter dress with a black belt around her waist. Her shoes are black heels with one strap each. Honey Lemon has a sweetheart neckline strapless dress with an orange bow around her waist, and her bangs are curled. She has the same type of shoes as GoGo. Hiro and Wasabi are also wearing matching shoes.
The 14-year-old girl is wearing a ruby red spaghetti strapped dress, the top a sweetheart neckline with black trimming at the top. The skirt is ruffle-layered, stopping at her knees and held by a belt made out of black stripes. There's also black mesh underneath her skirt. Her shoes are black strapped heels unfortunately, making her only one inch taller than her brother. The earrings are red feathered, while two black bead bracelets are on her left hand, and she of course has her locket on. Hana's hair has part of it and her bangs in a curly side ponytail on the left with the rest of it loose and wavy. There are two loose strands before her ears. She decided to be fancy just for tonight and put on a little makeup, her lips a cherry red lipstick and having sparkly red eyeshadow.
"I'm worried about Freddie. Where is he?" Honey Lemon speaks up to them.
"Hopefully he ditched the Moles," GoGo states, glancing at the other four.
"You look so beautiful, Hana," Honey Lemon compliments her and she smiles happily at the compliment.
"Thank you! It took a lot of work to get us both ready."
"I gave up trying to do her hair myself and asked Aunt Cass to help me," Hiro rubs his arm. "But I didn't do so bad on the make-up."
Sharing a room with his sister can be pretty essential sometimes for things like that, and he picked up on it after they kept switching places to try and get funny reactions from people.
"You're wearing heels?" GoGo looks down at her shoes.
"I thought you hated those," Wasabi notices them too.
"I do, but Megan, Karmi, and Aunt Cass have been teaching me how to walk in them...Let's just say that I only know how to not trip and fall on my face," Hana bites her lip, looking away. The only reason why she wore them is because it's a big event, and she'd feel awkward if she wore flats.
"Do you mind if I take a picture?" Honey Lemon holds up her phone.
"Shh, don't ask out loud! With an event like this, I'm gonna get dozens of people asking me for a picture or an autograph," Hana glances around nervously. Honey Lemon takes a selfie with her.
"You should've seen Aunt Cass before we left, she took a bunch of pictures..." Hiro looks a bit annoyed at the mention of it. It reminded him of the time that the twins went to a normal school dance with Megan and Mikey.
"Speaking of, you didn't come here with a date?" GoGo crosses her arms.
"Yeah, where is that boyfriend of yours?" Wasabi teases her, elbowing the girl. She has a deadpan look as they grin at her. Since she's the only one out of the group with an actual relationship, that meant she got most of the teasing about love nowadays. But she still got a kick out of teasing Hiro about Karmi.
"Said stuffy parties aren't his thing. He's seen me in enough dresses anyway."
"Not this one," Hiro smirks at her.
"T-That has nothing to do with it," She flushes, looking away. "He'll have plenty of time to notice me in dresses, tonight just isn't one of those nights..."
"But you want him to~" Hiro smiles widely, raising a brow.
"Hey! That reminds me, why didn't you ask Karmi to be your date?" Hana suddenly brings up, earning a wide-eyed look from him.
"I-It's not like that! She just...has a busy schedule with comics and cartoons and...all that!"
"Suuuure," Hana giggles at his reaction.
"Aw, but why not?" Honey Lemon pouts at him. "Or even Megan? It would've been cute seeing you get all flustered at them dressed up."
"I-I don't get flustered. That is...um..." Hiro rubs his neck and GoGo elbows him a little.
"Woman up, she's just teasing."
"They would be so cute together!" Honey Lemon squeals a bit.
"Okay, changing the subject," Hiro backs away a little. "Fred just really wants Olivia to like him, but he'll do the right thing."
"Uh, guys? I don't think Fred ditched the Moles," Wasabi states as he looks behind them. They turn around to see Fred walking up to them. He has no hat, his hair is combed, he has a mustache, a black suit with a red tie, and a red handkerchief in his pocket.
"Oh no..." Hana and Baymax both comment at his appearance, he looked like a stuffy rich guy. He opens up a fan, waving it in front of his face. He steps up to them and he throws up his fan, to the shock of the others. He spins around in a circle at least a dozen times before stopping, catching the fan in his left hand. Hana leans in towards her brother.
"You know, this is more scarier than thinking he had a female version of him," She whispers to him. He opens up the fan and fans himself again, the others giving each other a look.
"Freddie?" Honey Lemon asks gently.
"Freddie?" He closes the fan. "No, Fred went bye-bye, chaps and chapettes. They call me Frederique." He smiles and roses circle around him.
"Stop, just stop," Hana rubs a temple.
"Um, Frederique, can we talk?"
"You've got it, my lady," Fred bows to her, standing up while fanning himself. The twins glance at each other weirdly.
"You shouldn't change who you are for someone else," Honey Lemon states with a small frown.
"Abandon the Frederique persona?" He questions her incredibly.
"I think you'll be happier if you just be yourself," She tells him optimistically.
"This isn't you at all," Hana gestures to the suit and mustache. "No girl here would even fall for that, it's just so...stuffy and you hate that."
Fred just laughs at the two boastfully. "Been there, done that, failed miserably."
"Look, I saw the video," Hana frowns a little. "The Moles are just being jerks, they wouldn't willingly help you if there wasn't something in it for them. If Olivia doesn't already like you for who you are, what makes you think changing is going to change her mind?"
"Oh, Hana...sweet, adorable, loyal Hana. Give me your hand."
She glances around weirdly at the others. "Umm...okay?" She holds it out and he takes it.
"Prepare yourself, I've already marked this down. You, my friend, deserve a hand kiss from the one and only Frederique." He kisses her hand and she quickly grabs it back, totally weirded out now as she looks at him wide-eyed. "Your hand has been kissed by Frederique."
"Okay..." She sweats awkwardly. Ugh, she could feel her bones cringing...
"There you go, my lady."
"Okay...my dude," She clears her throat, causing Hiro to snicker.
"She said my dude..."
"That makes it less weird," GoGo smirks, crossing her arms.
"I don't know how to feel right now! Let's just say I'm just glad that my boyfriend isn't like this..." Hana turns away, hiding herself behind her brother and GoGo.
"Now, Frederique must make his entrance!" He walks past them to go inside and they just stare after him, slightly concerned. "Darling, babe, so good to see you honey baby!" He pats two people on the shoulder, taking someone's phone to do a selfie with them. "Yeah, it's me, Frederique."
Two people are laughing when Fred steps in and interrupts the laughter with his own. He takes the appetizer from the man's plate and they just stare after him in confusion. He comes back for the glass of water and takes a sip.
Hana is at the buffet table, looking to see what she can eat since she's changed her diet.
"Hana Hamada?"
She turns around to see Olivia approaching her. She has no hat as a yellow bow is around her head. She has on pink sneakers, and a blue sleeved dress with a floral design on the sleeves. "I'm such a huge fan!" She eagerly shakes the girl's hand. "Though, usually it's the fan who screams, not the other way around."
"Oh..." Hana cringes awkwardly at the reminder, smiling weakly. "I'm so sorry I reacted the way I did, Olivia. It's just...another possible Fred scared me and it still does."
"You're not the only one..."
The girl frowns as she remembers what her friends and her brothers told her. "Olivia, if you don't mind me asking, why did you react the way you did when you met Fred? I mean, he is a Frederickson, but you barely know the guy."
"My cousin and little brother told me all about him. Fred's a jerk!"
"Ahh," Hana replies in understanding. "I see what they did. Look, I know that they're your family and you're...close enough to be in contact with them," She glances away in slight irritation as Robertson still annoys her. "But you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. It's your opinion solely that should matter without being influenced by those two little brats. As someone who is friends with Fred and has been through that kind of thing, it's not right to dislike someone without really knowing them first."
Olivia's eyes soften a little. Hana had gone through people judging her through high school until her breaking point. And now that she's told her this, she did the exact same thing that she looked down upon when she heard about Hana's story.
"Maybe you're right. I...must've really hurt him, huh?"
"I wouldn't say he'd do anything to harm himself...at least not physically," Hana replies slowly, since she's seen him in that ridiculous get-up. "Maybe if you got to know him better, you'll see that he's really not what your family said about him."
"Could you tell me more about Fred?" Olivia asks curiously.
"Well, he's obsessed with comics, in case you didn't pick up on that," She puts on a small amused smile, causing Olivia to laugh. "That's, uh, kind of a big deal to him. But other than that, he's a generous, optimistic...unique person," She clears her throat at that last verb since she didn't want to say anything weird.
Fred sees Olivia and Hana talking, stopping short.
What is my brain feeling?
Why is my heart squealing?
Fred drops his glass at the sight of her, adjusting his mustache.
What is this mush?
Oh no, it's a nerd crush
"Oh no..." Hana groans a little, pinching her nose as he approaches them. He taps Olivia's shoulder and she visibly cringes at the sight of him. He puts on a flirtatious smile as he fans himself.
"Uh, hi?" She asks, a bit weirded out.
"The name's Frederique," He places a hand on his hip. "Frederique Frederickson," He approaches her, but she backs away and Hana keeps her hand away from him.
"I know you are, Fred," Olivia replies in disdain.
"Well then, I guess you also know you just won the lottery, kitty kat," He inches towards the woman, who keeps backing away from him. Hana winces, looking away slightly as she feels uncomfortable, and she's only watching this!
"Meow."
Olivia steps back and he falls onto the ground.
"Wow, you just gave me the creep-shivers," Olivia comments, pouring her water over him and leaving him there. Hana's eyes sadden slightly at the display.
"But-!" Fred protests as she helps him up and he's now drenched. "WHHHHHHHHHHHHY?!" He cries out just like at the comic book store. He sinks onto his knees, both of them hearing laughter. They glance over their shoulders to see the Mole boys laughing in front of a piano.
"Oh, oh, Frederique! You truly are my masterpiece."
"Our!" Robertson corrects him, his cousin pushing him onto the ground.
"Whatever! This is the best day of my life!" He plays a few notes on the piano and Fred realizes that they only helped him so that he would get humiliated by Olivia—again. He grits his teeth at them, really angry at them now.
"You said you turned me into the perfect guy! Like Javert!" Fred accuses them and Olivia just happens to overhear.
"I said we know the kind of guy she likes. She HATED Javert. That's why they only went out once," Richardson reveals to him.
"You set this whole thing up, didn't you?" Hana accuses him.
"If you wanna give us credit, then yes, yes we did," Robertson smiles, winking up at her, but she just glares at them.
"Bluff Dunder reporting live with our top story," The reporter speaks up, getting their attention. "Fred Frederickson now known as Frederique, has just been epically owned!" Fred flinches at this. "Right in front of his friend, Hana Hamada, by Richardson Mole!"
One of the producers blows a trombone.
"This is your top story?" GoGo wonders in disbelief, it feels like they were just profiting off his pain.
"The big boys pay me a boatload of money," Bluff leans towards her, pulling out a stack of money. "I mean a boatload," He lightly hits her head with it, walking up to Hana. The paparazzi start snapping photos of her and she covers her eyes lightly. "Hana, any comment to your friend's humiliation? Was it justified?"
"No comment!" She flips over them and runs towards her friends. They then approach Fred, who's sitting on the stairs sadly.
"Frederique, care to comment on your complete humiliation?" Bluff holds out the microphone to him. He looks up at the reporter and then hangs his head.
"No..." He stands up and walks away.
"Fred..." Hana murmurs sadly at him as Olivia's eyes widen. She looks down, feeling bad for him. Something suddenly speeds past her and she looks up to see the streak run past two people. It closes all the doors, speeding around everyone before spinning to a stop. Supersonic Stu is standing in front of the stairs, reading words off his palm.
"Enter fundraiser undetected, check. Lock doors, check."
"Oh great," GoGo comments at this. "Supersonic Stupid."
"Please," He skates over to them. "Supersonic Stupid was my father."
"And now it makes sense," Hana murmurs to her brother and Wasabi.
"You can just call me Stu," He skates back over to everyone else. "This is my first solo heist, you guys! This is so cool!"
"You're doing great, sugar biscuit!" Sue, who somehow got into the building, is recording him from the top of the steps.
"We can't summon Skymax while he's heisting, we need a moment where he's not looking," Hana whispers to the others.
"Thanks Nana!" He waves to her. "Love you!" He then goes back to his hand. "Okay, hand over all of your...valid...your visi—Nana!" He turns around to the woman, pointing to his left hand. "I can't read this part!"
While he's distracted, Hiro calls for Skymax and the six back away. "It's valuables, cuddle cup!"
"Oh, right, okay. Hand over all your valuables, cuddle cups! Oh," He realizes what he said. "Wait, you know what? As I'm saying that, I'm realizing that's what-I just...Just hand over all your valuables!"
Despite all of them thinking he's an idiot, they start removing jewelry or grabbing wallets so that the villains don't do something drastic.
Richardson and Robertson hide in a piano, terrified of the two ever since Richardson teamed up with them. And Robertson's just hiding so that he didn't get targeted like his cousin. Stu skates around and starts putting things into a bag.
"Nana, look at me, I'm doing it!" He cheers to Sue after getting a wallet.
"You sure are! Now, what comes next?"
He pushes away the man. "Oh, I wrote it on my foot," He pulls his leg up, falling onto the ground as he looks at his skate. "Everybody just wait!"
"Aw, you don't have time for that, angel bottom. You have to take..."
"A banana!" He calls out, to her slight ire. She had no clue if he wrote something else and just misread, or if he was just guessing.
"No! One of the victims so no one tries to stop you from leaving!"
Everyone gasps at this. "Right, right," He stands up, rubbing his neck. "I have no explanation for the banana thing." He speeds over and decides to grab Olivia, gripping her wrists so that she can't get free.
"Ah, hey!" She calls out in protest. Someone steps forward to them.
"Let her go!" Fred demands him, causing Olivia to smile. Stu just stares at him, glancing over to Sue.
"Nana, should I?"
"You're a big boy! Make smart choices," She advises him, still recording. He glances between Fred and Olivia.
"You know what? I'm leaning y..." He looks over to his grandmother for help, and she shakes her head no. "No!"
"Wrong answer!"
He looks up to see the other members in their superhero gear, prepared to face him. Olivia beams in relief, she's also a fan of Big Hero 7 and not just comics.
"Nuh-uh! Nana said it was the right answer," Stu protests, pointing up the stairs.
"Oh lord," Hana places a hand on top of her visor. Sometimes she wishes that their villains weren't so child-like, though she would rather have that than too many serious villains.
"Ugh, the circus folk are back in town," Sue complains, tossing away the device she was using to record. "Sorry hun, Nana's gotta jump in!" She taps her elbows. "It's Electric Elbow o'clock!" The woman leaps forward and soars towards the group, elbows ready.
"Get back!" Hana cries out, slamming her hands against the floor. She sends an electric surge that counteracts Sue's attack, but it also sends the others flying. Hiro rolls to a safe stop along with everyone else, but the boy is immediately tackled by a spinning Stu. GoGo helps out Honey Lemon, only for both of them to get hip-checked by Sue. She speeds towards Wasabi and he tries to get away, but she knocks him off his feet. He spins around in mid-air.
Stu is still gripping Olivia's wrist as he watches Sue speed around. "Nana, you said I could do it all by myself!" He complains, stomping his foot.
"Forget someone?" Hana summons her violin weapon, staring the two down. Sue speeds up to her, and she plays a tune, sending a large electric shock to her. Sue just taps her elbows, deflecting it. Hana ducks her head as it was coming towards her, only to be knocked down by Sue.
"Olivia!" Fred calls out while he's standing on the second floor railing. "Duck Duck Moose! Issue 57, page 17, bottom left!"
"FRED! No!" She cries out in worry. "It's too dangerous!"
"It'll work!" His body wobbles while he's standing and he clings onto a pillar nearby.
"Wait, what will work?" Stu asks in confusion, looking at Olivia, but his answer isn't question.
"Just get out of there, butterbean!" Sue yells out in a panic, having gone back to recording. Olivia looks towards the ground and decides to trust Fred on this one, since the other members are out of commission. She takes off her glasses, looking up at Stu.
"Ow, my hoof!" She holds her left foot, recalling the comic word-for-word. "I broke it in a skiing accident."
"Your hoof?"
Fred flips his hair and yells, jumping up and gripping one end of the banner for the benefit. He flies towards Stu and Olivia.
"Quack Quack Loser!" He shouts, which is also from the comic as he's Duck. Stu looks up in shock, revealing his eyes and a bandage on his nose, along with his left eyebrow having a part shaved off. Olivia ducks as Fred smacks into Stu, causing him to drop all of the valuables and let go of Olivia. All the valuables fly out of the bag as Olivia looks up in shock and awe. Fred winks at her, landing on all fours.
He turns around and removes the mustache.
"Way to go, Fred!" Hana cheers as the others stand up, cheering for him.
Nerd crush
This is a total nerd crush
Olivia stands up, putting her glasses back on as she smiles slightly.
Nerd crush
After what Hana told her earlier, she now sees Fred for who he truly is.
"Law enforcement has arrived," Baymax announces from the doors as the sirens can be heard. "I will let them in." He opens the door and a few officers run in, followed by Luisa and Diego.
"Freeze, Supersonics!" Luisa orders them.
"Come on, we gotta blow this joint," Sue tells her grandson as he gets up.
"But I wanted to do the robbery!" He complains like a child.
"You tried, that's what matters," She pats his hand. "Now who wants ice cream for din-din?"
"Ooh, I do, I do!" He jumps into her arms and her skates power up. "You're the best, Nana!" He kisses her cheek before she speeds off right past the officers and out the door.
"Goodbye," Baymax tells them, the officers standing up and racing after them. Diego turns to look at Big Hero 7.
"Good work."
"Oh, it wasn't just us. Fred's the one who really saved the day," Hiro gestures to him.
"I'm sure we'll have all the time to commend him later, they're getting away!" Luisa calls out and Diego follows after her.
"A police officer's job, or a superhero's, is never finished," Hana smiles in amusement. The officers know that they can't catch up to the Supersonics, but at least they were trying even if it is a lost cause.
Olivia stands up, dusting herself off when Fred approaches. "You were amazing," She compliments him, fanning herself. "Frederic."
He cringes in embarrassment, mentally groaning at how he acted earlier. "It's Fred. Just Fred," He puts his hat back on. "I'm sorry I acted so weird. I wanted you to like me so I took Richardson and your brother's advice to be more like Javert."
"Javert?" Olivia recoils back in disgust. "Gross! They both played us! They told me you were a jerk."
"I'm not surprised," Fred places a hand on his hip. "They've told me I'm a jerk many times," He looks away with a pout, crossing his arms. Robertson crawls out of the piano, wanting to get away when Olivia glares at him.
"You!"
"Ah...hey sis," He waves to her nervously. He scrambles past her, but she pinches his ear, causing him to stop.
"I hope you're happy because when we get home, Mom and Dad are so grounding you!"
He groans at this. "And they were wrong," Olivia turns to Fred. "You're sweet, brave, and have great taste in comics," She smiles, gesturing to herself. "I should have trusted my instincts, or judged you myself like your friend Hana told me."
"Yeah, we call her cinnamon roll in the group. Hana's a great friend," He looks past Olivia and smiles at the girl. She smiles too, giving him a thumbs up. Just this once, she'll let the cinnamon roll thing pass since this interaction is cute.
Olivia puts on her hat, smiling at him. "I'm sorry that I misjudged you."
"Oh, I don't blame you at all. Him and your cousin like to be jerks," Fred glares down at Robertson, who's sitting next to Olivia rubbing his ear in pain.
"Yeah, they showed me their arcade and then I just kind of assumed things from there," Olivia rubs her neck sheepishly.
"Uh, okay," Fred starts off nervously. "So, uh, there's a screening of Super Tall Fire Breathing Hurricane Centar next week and I was kind of hoping-"
"Are you asking me to see classic Kaiju anime with you?"
He glances away awkwardly, hoping that she wouldn't say no, but then she smiles. "I'd love to! After I drop off this little troublemaker and tell my parents everything."
He gasps happily, doing a slow fist bump. She offers her arm and he takes it, the two heading off together. The other six look on as they leave, Olivia dragging away her brother.
"Aren't they the cutest?" Honey Lemon asks, her hands on GoGo's shoulders.
"Yeah. Pretty cute," GoGo agrees and Hana points to herself.
"Who wants to stay up eating ice cream and waiting for Fred to come back from his date? I'm making ice cream and cake!"
"Yes!" Honey Lemon cheers as they walk off.
"Ice cream and cake never sounded so good...apart on a separate plate, that is," Wasabi follows them.
"Eh, I could eat."
"Though ice cream and pie sounds good too with..."
"Sprinkles!" The twins finish in unison in excitement.
"You know what, that's an even better idea! Okay, let's hit up all the grocery stores before they close!" Hana points forward dramatically. "I'm getting all the mixes, people!"
"I will be careful with the whisk this time," Baymax points out.
"Forget sprinkles, gummy bears!" Hiro pumps a fist.
"YES!" Hana cheers happily, earning wary looks from their older friends.
"Just don't make yourselves sick like last time..." Honey Lemon murmurs as they step through the doors.
"I fail to see how baking all of the mixes is pertinent for digesting all at once," Baymax turns to the twins as he opens his wings. Hiro jumps on, along with everyone else besides Hana.
"And we fail to see how you fail to see that sweets are AWESOME!" The twins say together just like they did when Baymax was flying for the first time. The group take off into the sky to go find the nearest store open.
"Hello?" Richardson calls out from the piano. "Is it safe to come out?" It seems that everyone has forgotten about him as the lights go out. "Hello?"
