Henry Stickmin Breaks New Ground!

Gimmick: Henry's Gimmick is a bit complex. Henry doesn't have traditional specials. Instead, when you do the input for the special, 4 options will appear around Henry and you must tilt the control stick in the direction of the option you want. Each option has its own pros and cons so keep that in mind!

Basic Information:

Series: Henry Stickmin

Speed: 2.2

Introduction: Henry falls from the top of the screen and lands face first. There is also a chance he actually lands properly

Up Taunt: Takes out a block of cheese and eats it

Down Taunt: His distraction dance (Will keep going as long as the button is held)

Side Taunt: Makes a face

Idle Animation: Taps his foot with his arms folded

Boxing Ring name: Master of Fails

Icon: Henry's face

Alt Costumes: Default: Henry as he appears in canon

Alt 1: Henry is replaced with Ellie (Changes the announcer, voice and boxing ring name to 'Mysterious Convict')

Alt 2: Henry wearing a pair of headphones (Reference to Charles Calvin, a prominent and fan favorite character of the series)

Alt 3: Henry wearing a top hat (Reference to when he becomes leader of the Toppat Clan)

Alt 4: Ellie wearing a pink top hat (reference to the times she joins/becomes leader of the Toppat Clan)

Alt 5: Henry with a green hat (reference to the military, which he helps in both Infiltrating the Airship and Completing the Mission)

Alt 6: Henry with a grey cap (Reference to The Wall, the prison Henry escaped from in Fleeing the Complex)

Alt 7: Ellie with a grey cap (Also a reference to The Wall, the same game she first appeared in)

Kirby Hat: Kirby becomes white with a thick black outline

Classic Mode: References Galore! (Mario, Sonic, Link, Snake, Pikachu, Kirby. Final Boss: The Hands)


Standard Moves:

Jab: 2 straight punches followed by a hook

Down tilt: Sweep kick

Up tilt: Swings a Yo-Yo overhead from front to back

Side Tilt: Slashes a knife forward

Dash Attack: Elbow bash

Getup Attack: Spin kick

Edge Attack: Headbutt


Air Moves:

Standard Air: Flails his arms and legs with a panicked look, as if suddenly realizing he's in the air

Forward Air: Jabs his knee forward (Acts exactly like Captain Falcon's knee)

Back Air: Turns and kick backwards

Down Air: Stomps both feet down (Spikes at sweet spot)

Up Air: Thrusts a drill upwards (Hits multiple times)


Smash Attacks:

Up Smash: Swings a stop sign overhead from front to back (Reference to when Ellie hits Dmitri in Fleeing the Complex)

Side Smash: Powerful forward punch

Down Smash: A bomb appears on one side and a grenade on the other. The grenade explodes first, causing foes hit to be launched into the bomb, which also then explodes to launch away


Specials:

Neutral (Left): Pistol

Henry pulls out a pistol and fires a shot forward. It travels a fair distance and has the same damage no matter what. However, its a weaker projectile when compared to others

Neutral (Right): Rifle

Henry takes out a rifle and fires a spread of shots forward. The shots weaken and spread the farther they fly, so its much better to use when close to your target.

Neutral (Up): Sniper

Henry takes out a sniper rifle and lines up a shot, then fires. It has the farthest reach of any of them, but it has a long start lag, and can only ever fire straight forward

Neutral (Down): Grenade Launcher

Henry pulls out a grenade launcher and fires a grenade. It bounces a bit then explodes. Its powerful, but the grenade can be reflected or even thrown back at Henry

Up (Left): Jetpack

Henry equips a jet pack and flies straight into any cardinal direction based on controller input. Henry will also deal damage by ramming into opponents

Up (Right): Grappling Hook

Fires a grappling hook at an upward angle when on the ground, or down if used in the air. If he hooks a part of the stage he will be pulled to it. But if he hits an enemy they will be pulled to him

Up (Up): Teleporter

When Henry uses the teleporter he will instantly teleported into the direction of the player's choosing. And it goes pretty far. However, there is a 20% chance when you use the teleporter that you will actually teleport in the OPPOSITE direction of what you held. And that chance increases the more often its used in a row. This up special is to be used if there are no other options and you desperately need to make it back to the stage. Or, you could try and predict the malfunction and use it to your advantage, at the risk of actually going in the right direction

Up (Down): Jumble Hoppers

Henry will bounce up into the air. Its the only up special to not put him into free fall afterwards, but it cannot be used in the air

Down (Left): Lightning

Brings down a bolt of lightning down in front of him. If used to much in repetition, he has a chance of electrocuting himself, dealing recoil damage

Down (Right): Fire

Shoots a wall of fire along the ground. Can ONLY be used on the ground

Down (Up): Earth

Creates a boulder in font of himself. This boulder can act like a platform. Pressing Down (Up) again while next to the boulder will have Henry shoot it forward

Down (Down): Ice

Creates a cloud of cold mist in front of him that freezes foes solid. If used to often, can backfire and freeze Henry instead

Side (Left): Sword

Henry stabs forward with a sword out (Like one of the Mii Swordfighter's specials). If it connects, it does massive damage but Henry will have end lag as he has to pull the blade out

Side (Right): Scooter

Much like Wario, Henry suddenly appears on his scooter and rides forward. He bashes away anyone in his way and can jump once. If he double jumps, he will jump off the scooter

Side (Up): Pulse Gun

Henry takes out a strange device and fires a pulse shockwave forward. This acts as a bumper for anyone it collides with. By holding down the button, Henry will turn it on himself and be launched backwards

Side (Down): Rocket

Henry sits on a giant rocket (Don't question where he was keeping it) and after a short wind up will fly forward on it. The rocket explodes on contact, which does damage Henry but also sends him flying into the air. You can also jump off of the rocket to avoid damage


Grab and Pummel:

Grab: Grabs the opponent with a sticky hand (Tether)

Pummel: Knee jab

Throws:

Forward: Henry picks the foe up over his head and tosses them forward

Back: Henry loads the foe into a cannon and shoots them out backwards

Down: Henry uppercuts the opponent up but then jumps and punches them into the ground

Up: An airbag appears below the foe, sending them upwards

Conditions: Enemy grabs and throws have increased power

Conditions: Enemies ranged attacks have increased power

Enemy can deal powerful critical hits at random

Enhance Right Hand Man

When Equipped: Critical Metal (You become metal at dangerous %)

Reginald Copperbottom (Legendary)

Fighter: Toppat Henry

Conditions: Enemy ranged attacks have increased power
Enemy favors neutral special
Enemy will avoid combat at high damage

When Equipped: Critical Speed up up


Final Smashes: Just like his specials, Henry has 4 options he can choose from. Once the final smash is activated, time will slow down as Henry is given his 4 options. If you do not pick before the 5 seconds then nothing happens

Left: Tank

Henry will whistle and soon hops into his Tank. He will then fire a shell forward, exploding on contact for huge damage and knockback

Right: Convict Allies

Ellie appears in front of Henry (Or vise versa if using the Ellie skin) and the two punch at the same time. Foes hit by this will be trapped as Henry and Ellie combo the opponent with attacks. Ending it with both of them punching the opponent and yelling "STICKMIN PUNCH!" creating a large explosion to send them flying

Up: Greatest Plan

Henry jumps up and gets picked up by Charles in his helicopter. A reticle appears on screen and the player can move it to wherever they want. Once they press the attack button, or automatically after 5 seconds, Charles will fly past the spot the reticle was, sending those hit flying away. He would also be singing "This is the greatest plaaaan!"

Down: Triple Threat

Henry and Ellie both rush forward. Foes hit will be taken to a cinematic final smash where Henry and Ellie toss the opponent(s) into the ground. Charles flies down, picking them up and saying "Combo time! Take em out!". Ellie fires a Gatling gun at the foe as Henry grabs an RPG and fires it into the foe(s), knocking them away when the attack concludes (Instant kill at 160%)

Victory pose 1: Shows Henry with his foot on a giant diamond, ruby and emerald (Reference to the Jewel Baron ending) (This victory will always play if Henry wins the match with the Tank final smash)

Victory pose 2: Shows Henry and Ellie riding around on a motorcycle before posing for the camera (This victory will always play if Henry wins the match with the Convict Allies final smash)

Victory pose 3: Shows Henry smiling and laughing before getting a high five from a proud looking Charles (This victory will always play if Henry wins the match with the Greatest Plan final smash)

Victory pose 4: Shows Henry, Ellie and Charles striking poses (This victory will always play if Henry wins the match with the Triple Threat final smash)

Stage: Stickmin Collection

Traveling stage. The area changes every minute or so

-Bank. You fight in front of the bank. Walk-of

-Prison. The walls on the sides are breakable

-Museum. Fight in the Diamond room. Before the are changes, a Chaos Control Robot smashes through the ceiling

-Airship. Fight on the outside of the airship. If you fall off there is a windbox that pushes you backwards

-Toppat Base. This is the last area. Once you reach here it won't change. You fight in front of the rocket. On occasion, military helicopters can fly by and shoot the ground.

Trailer: Henry sits in a prison cell, sighing to himself sadly as 2 guards walk up "Oi! You!" One calls, causing Henry to look up happy. "Hahaha...ah. Not really" The guard smirks, making Henry sad again "But you've got a package" They throw the cardboard box inside as Henry looks up. "Don't get your hopes up. We already searched it for anything useful. Haven't we Dave?" He turns to his partner

"Huh? oh y-yeah! Yeah of course I checked it!' Dave rubs the back of his head "I mean if I didn't check it I'd lose my job. And I don't wanna lose my job" He chuckles nervous

"See ya around!" The guards walk away "free to go, ha" Their voices fall out as Henry opens the box. What he finds inside...is a smash letter. He picks it up and gets a smirk on his face as his reveal phrase appears

"Come on...I said I'm sorry!" Ender struggles while caught in a web

"Ahuhu. Sorry isn't getting you out of this one dearie" A voice says laughing. The voice belonging to a human-sized spider standing on 2 legs. "You forget my spirit? What, am I not important enough to get a slot in your silly moveset?"

"I just...forgot is all! But I had already moved on and didn't want to rewrite it all again just to add you in so..."

"Ahuhu. But you don't forget my theme song? How disappointing"

"C...come on Muffet... There has to be something I can do to make it up to you"

"Hmmm." She thinks "Well I was GOING to feed you to my pet. But I have a better idea Ahuhuhu" She smiles "and all it will take..."
