"Jeez, it's cold..." Shinsou muttered under his breath, shuddering lightly, rubbing his hands together. The lights were off, and his class, as well as 1-B, had settled together to watch another movie. However, since most of his warm hoodies were in the laundry, he was forced to wear one of his older hoodies.
It was still nice and comfortable, but it was loose and way too big on him. Not only that, even with another shirt underneath, it didn't really trap heat that well, so Shinsou was just freezing. He tried to focus on the movie instead, but it really didn't help that the movie was about some stupid ship crashing into a glacier or an iceberg or some other cold frozen thing; some stupid old romance movie that Ashido and Tokage and some of the other girls wanted to watch.
He was jealous of Shirou at times; sure, he liked hanging out with his friends and classmates, but he was freezing while his cat was able to enjoy the warmth of his kotatsu.
Plus, why the hell was the ship taking so long to sink?! He was much more interested in how the ship sank rather than what family or relationship drama was going on, though he had to admit, watching a ship for two hours and forty minutes wouldn't exactly be interesting.
Midoriya craned his neck to look at the taller boy, and reached out for Shinsou's hands, only to find them as cold as ice. Shinsou peered downwards, noticing the warmth on his hands, "Thanks, Zuku."
Midoriya frowned slightly, before shifting his position slightly, lying on top of Shinsou. He had always been told by his peers that he was warm, and Shuzenji had mentioned multiple times that his normal body temperature was much higher than a regular person's, so maybe he could let Shinsou use him as a heater or a heat pack or something like that.
He could still feel Shinsou shivering slightly, and Midoriya sat up, before climbing onto Shinsou, before he proceeded to lie on him, his knees on either side of his hips, making sure his movements were as innocuous as possible so as to not disturb his classmates who were watching the movie.
"Um... Zuku...? What are you... doing?" Shinsou hissed, his cheeks turning slightly red, but Midoriya just lay his head on Shinsou's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around the taller boy's neck, quietly muttering, "You're cold."
Midoriya shifted slightly, making himself comfortable on top of Shinsou, before he closed his eyes. Apparently, the boy hadn't been too interested in watching the movie in the first place, and was already pretty worn out, because it didn't take him too long to completely pass out, fast asleep.
Shinsou's only problem was that they were in a really weird position, but he had to admit, though... he was comfortable; it was really nice and warm... and he wasn't interested in the movie anyways...
Shinsou opened his eyes, blearily registering that there were people around him muttering. The lights had been switched on, and Shinsou blinked, trying to find his bearings and get used to the newly lit common room, before he noticed several of his Hero Course peers looking down at him.
"Uh... why is he sleeping on top of you like that?" Tokage asked, and Shinsou just looked up at her, confused, barely able to comprehend the question right after waking up.
Sero replied, "I don't know... but Midoriya is a lot more comfortable with Shinsou..."
"You look like a pretty cozy pillow, can I sleep on you?" Kaminari jokingly asked, snickering, but Shinsou just glared at him, "No."
Ashido was off to the side, seeming like she was screeching, and Asui just tilted her head, "Are you two finally dating, kero?"
Before Shinsou could say a single word, Mineta, with a straight face, blatantly asked, "Did you guys fuck?"
"You can't just ask something like that!" Jiro retorted, using one of her earphone jacks to hit Mineta in the side hard enough to leave him wheezing.
"What the heck, Jiro?" Mineta wailed, "It's a legit question! He was literally straddling him!"
"That doesn't mean you have to say it out loud like that!" Jiro snapped back, her face already turning slightly red at the conversation topic.
Kaminari turned to Mineta, tilting his head slightly in confusion, "Wait, you're not homophobic?"
Mineta raised an eyebrow, "I'm not? Why?"
"I don't know, man... honestly, you just gave me that impression that you're a homophobe... or at least, you preferred people who were straight." Kaminari replied, scratching his arm.
"I honestly couldn't really care less about what your sexuality is. You can like whoever you want to like." Mineta just shrugged, "Just because I know for sure that I like girls, doesn't mean that I have to project my preferences onto other people. We're entitled to our own opinions."
It was obvious that unanimously, everyone's opinion of Mineta had gone up slightly; most of them had been expecting Mineta to be a huge jerk about it, but honestly, it was nice to know that the boy still respected other peoples' opinions and views.
"That is... surprisingly mature for someone like you..." Yaoyorozu spoke up, a bit dumbfounded, and Mineta whined, "What's that supposed to mean? Just because I'm a pervert doesn't mean that I don't have any common sense, you know!"
"At least he admits that he's a pervert." Awase muttered, tossing his trash in the garbage bin.
Midoriya yawned, shifting his position slightly, before he went back to sleep. He had no idea what was going on around him, but for once, he didn't really care. He was comfortable and he just wanted to sleep.
"Who bottoms, though?"
Shinsou's face immediately turned red, and he nearly choked, but this time, Dark Shadow was the one to smack Mineta.
"I'm sure all of you know we had that joint training session with Ketsubutsu and Shiketsu a while back." Aizawa stated, before he scratched his neck, "Anyways, since we hosted the last session, the next session would be held at Ketsubutsu, for the same duration as last time; around a week."
"Another joint training session!" Kirishima grinned, "Awesome!"
"Aizawa-sensei!" Uraraka stood up and raised her hand, "What about Eri and her Rewind quirk?"
"For obvious reasons, Eri won't be able to come with us to Ketsubutsu." Aizawa replied, "The other teachers, as well as Ryukyu, Fat Gum, and Nighteye would come over occasionally to help take care of her. Not to mention, Amajiki, Togata, Hado, and all their sidekicks are still here. But I will still be doing my best right not to help her control her quirk."
Uraraka nodded, and sat back down.
"Going back on topic," Aizawa continued, "I don't know exactly when this would be occurring, but it would most likely next week if nothing major crops up. We're just getting some things confirmed with Ketsubutsu. I'm just giving you a heads up first, so you'd have time to buy extra stuff, like snacks, or whatever. Just don't create an infestation or anything like that."
Aizawa sighed, "However, since they don't have enough spare guest rooms, you guys, both your class and 1-B, will have to share a room and sleep in pairs. We have forty-one students in total, so there will be one group of three. Your next lesson is starting soon, and you're not allowed to use lesson time to decide on who's sleeping with who. Do that in your spare time, make sure you make groups of the same gender, and tell me tomorrow right before the training session starts. The packing list would be provided later."
Some chattering had started up again, but Aizawa just glared at the students, "Talk about it later. After lessons, during lunch, whatever, get your books out for your next lesson."
Midoriya cracked his neck, and settled into the bean bag, with Shinsou peering at him from his position on the couch, before he turned back to his homework. Eri yawned, and crawled up into the bean bag with Midoriya, curling up slightly, clutching at the greenette's hoodie, before falling asleep.
Some of the teachers had been called into a meeting, and the Big Three had been called out to continue their internships at their respective agencies, which meant that there was no one to take care of Eri for the time being, so Aizawa had left her with 1-A for the duration of the meeting.
Midoriya pressed his cheek against the bean bag, and it wasn't long before Reiko and Ryuto hopped up onto the bean bag, curling up against Midoriya's neck. Shinsou was occupied with finishing up an essay, with Shirou curled up by his side, and out of the corner of his eye, he had seen Yuwai and Kinu entering the common room, but he just let them be; both of them were smart enough to not get injured, and it was so cold outside that there was no way either of them would want to exit the warmth of the common room either.
He wasn't too sure where Koda was, but he did know that Uraraka, Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Sato, and Iida were having a training session, being overseen by one of the upperclassmen. Some of the others had gone out for a grocery run, and Yamada had managed to persuade one of the other heroes that worked at the same radio station to babysit them for an hour or two as a favour.
After some time, Shinsou sighed, and put down his pen. He wasn't too sure on how to continue his essay, and he was about to make himself a nice cup of coffee, and whatever drink Midoriya also wanted, when he heard some footsteps. Turning around, he found Ashido scratching her head, a confused expression scrawled all over her face.
"Where's Midoriya?" Ashido looked around, holding some mathematics homework in her hand, "I'm having a bit of trouble with the chapter Ectoplasm-sensei taught today... I was hoping that he could help me out with it."
"Zuku's right... uh... there... I think he's... occupied at the moment... " Shinsou paused, blinking down at the bean bag. Midoriya had also fallen asleep at some point, and Kinu and Yuwai had decided to join the cuddle pile, curling up and settled down by Eri's neck. Reiko had crawled up onto Midoriya's shoulder, and Ryuto had somehow gotten himself snuggled up in Midoriya's hood.
"CUTE!" Ashido let out a high pitched, incoherent squeak, and Shinsou hissed, "Shh! Let him sleep!"
"Anyways... do you know who you're going to room with?" Ashido tilted her head, "I think I'm staying with Jiro, and Uraraka and Tsu would be rooming together as well."
"I'm probably going to room with Izuku." Shinsou shrugged, and Ashido nodded, "Yeah, makes sense, he's the most comfortable with you. When are you going to make a move, by the way?"
"Huh?" Shinsou asked, confused, and Ashido continued, "You know, ask Mido out on a date or something."
It just didn't seem to register to Shinsou that his classmates didn't know that they were already together, and the lavender haired boy just stared at Ashido dumbly, "What?"
Before Ashido could say anything, Aizawa pushed open the door to the common room, "Ashido, your therapy session is in like... an hour. You do remember that Hound Dog rescheduled it because of the meeting, right?"
"Oh yeah!" Ashido nodded, before running back up to her room.
Aizawa looked down at Eri, who was still fast asleep, and sighed, "I guess I'm going to have to wait for her to wake up."
He turned to Shinsou, "What were you two talking about anyways?"
"I don't really know either." Shinsou admitted, before he turned back to his essay.
