Aizawa leaned back into his chair, and let out a long sigh.

He had just received the report from the interrogation of Time Stop, and they had called in Tsukauchi just to make sure that she was telling the truth. However, the villain was very cooperative, and explained everything about her job.

Apparently, various villain groups seemed to notice how much trouble Midoriya was causing for them, despite just being a quirkless first year, and had made it some sort of competition to take him out through various means, thinking that doing so would be able to shake their society. She wasn't too sure about other villains, but she had decided to try and take him out first.

She also explained the powder that they had found her carrying around, and whatever she had said matched up with what she told the kids in the audio file that Kaminari had recorded during the fight. Looking through the past records in their databases, the police weren't able to find anything about kids dying due to the drug, but after contacting several doctors and heroes, they did find several medical records about children supposedly getting admitted into the hospital, and subsequently dying due to severe food poisoning.

Aizawa had also used his underground contacts to see if they could find anything about this supposed drug, but they couldn't find anything in such a small period of time.

However, they did manage to find several medical studies from almost a century ago, depicting the various differences in genes and DNA sequences between quirked and quirkless people, and there was also an analysis that stated that as generations went by, the genetic differences between quirked and quirkless people would decrease due to various mutations, as well as quirkless children still inheriting a small portion of the DNA from a quirked parent.

In short, the DNA sequences between people in the present are much smaller than in the past, when quirks had just started manifesting, regardless of whether a person had a quirk or not.

"Hey." Fukukado peeked into the office that Aizawa was in, "Vlad King is bringing the kids back to the temporary dorms."

She closed the door behind her, and settled down into a chair on the opposite side of the table, just as Aizawa let out another long sigh.

"How are the kids?" Aizawa asked, and Fukukado leaned back into her chair.

"Well... for the most part... they're actually fine. Midoriya's just slightly sick, but we can attribute that to whatever Time Stop did to the food. Nothing much we can do about it, since this drug is not widely known, there's no cure for it. The school nurse said that he just needs to eat and drink proper, non-contaminated food to just flush everything out of his system, but she did send a blood sample over to Recovery Girl, just in case she missed anything." Fukukado replied, and Aizawa let out a loud groan.

For once, he was thankful for Midoriya's small appetite. If he had eaten more food and digested more of that poison, his poor immune system might not be able to deal with it.

"However, we did run tests on all the food in storage, and most of them were already contaminated, so we're going to have to throw them all out, and find a new, more reliable cook." Fukukado finished.

"I'll see if Lunch Rush can help you out." Aizawa stated, reaching out for his phone, "I'm not sure if he knows any cooks, but I do know there's this place that he prefers to get all his ingredients from. They're slightly more expensive than regular stuff you find in a supermarket, but it's much fresher, and Lunch Rush makes good food; who am I to complain?"

"Yeah. Thanks." Fukukado grinned wearily, before her smile fell, "Don't you... think this is a huge problem?"

"What do you mean?" Aizawa asked, and Fukukado rested her chin on the table, "I mean... villains. They're not just attacking any random hero student they see on the streets now. They're strategically targeting specific students, and are even infiltrating schools... I think we can trust the older staff, at least, those that we've had since before the start of this school year, but what about in the future? Teachers and staff are bound to take leave, or even retire, and it's not like we can just... not hire new staff, or even substitutes."

"Think about that later." Aizawa slumped into his chair tiredly, "We've got more important things to deal with at the moment. Mainly... the Hero Commission."

Fukukado let out another loud groan, "That's a whole new can of worms I don't even want to get near. The Hero Commission has always been secretive, whether to prevent nationwide panic, or to save their own skin... but now, they seem especially keen on letting as few people know what's going on as possible. How the hell can we operate with no information to go on?"

Aizawa just shook his head, "Ever since the League of Villain's appearance... everything has just become a huge mess. I just hope the Hero Commission wouldn't drag the kids into any of this."

"Hey guys! We've got drinks!" Ashido burst into the common room excitedly, her arms full of various flavors of sodas and chips. Kaminari strolled in behind her, dumping all the plastic bottles on the table, as Iida waved his arms around erratically, "Utsushimi told me where you were going! The school building isn't that far away!"

"Fam, I already told you that calling me Camie is alright, y'all don't have to be so uptight, ya know..." Utsushimi sweatdropped, and Mora yanked her out of the way just before Iida accidentally whacked her with his arms, "Why did you take so long?! Did something happen!?"

"Nothing happened." Kan replied. Aizawa and Fukukado had barely told him anything about what was going on, promising to fill him in later, but based on what little information he had, Kan knew that he shouldn't tell the kids what had happened until they got a clearer idea of just what was going on, and the four students that he was escorting back to the dorms knew that they also shouldn't say anything until Aizawa brought it up.

"It's just getting a few snacks!" Iida countered, before he calmed himself down, "I apologize for my rudeness, Vlad King-sensei, but surely, it would not take so long just to get snacks... even if they did buy a lot of them."

"The vending machine was faulty." Shinsou hastily ad libbed, dumping his share of snacks down on the table, "We fed in the money, and the machine just spat it out for no reason. We had to wait for a mechanic to come and fix it."

Ashido and Kaminari nodded, a little too eagerly in Kan's opinion, but that explanation seemed to satisfy Iida, "Oh, alright then!"

"Don't worry, Class Rep!" Kaminari jumped out, grabbing Iida's arm and bringing him closer to the pile of food and drinks, "We've got enough snacks for everyone! No need to be so cranky!"

"I am not cranky! Kaminari, let go of me! I can walk on my own!" Iida protested, and Midoriya used the opportunity to slink back to his designated room.

Kan just let out a small sigh, "Also, there's going to be pizza for dinner tonight, so if you want anything else like spaghetti or fried chicken, just tell me now so that I can place the order."

That seemed to grab everyone's attention, and it wasn't long before the students were excitedly discussing dinner plans with each other.

Shinsou just grabbed two bottles of soda, before he headed up to the rooms.

Midoriya just lay face-down on the bed, as Reiko sat next to him, meowing.

"I'm fine." Midoriya groaned, feeling the feline pawing at his cheek worriedly, as Ryuto hopped up onto his head.

Midoriya knew that it had faded out of existence at some point, or he would have found out about it during his research on Chisaki, or even during his days of being a vigilante.

But everything just seemed so surreal. A drug that was developed strategically just to kill quirkless people off?

What was even the point in that?

At least, he understood the reasoning behind Chisaki developing the Quirk-Destroying drug; in a society that was dependent on quirks, taking away quirks, especially heroes' quirks, would be very impactful, and shake their society as a whole. But he really couldn't see a reason behind people wanting to kill off quirkless people.

Did not having a quirk really pose that much of a threat to other quirked people?

He heard the door open, and he turned his head slightly, watching as Shinsou entered the room. The taller boy sat down next to Midoriya, before he twisted the bottle cap of his soda, the sound of the plastic between the plastic cap and the break-away band snapping out loudly in the quiet room.

"Here." Shinsou passed him the other unopened bottle, and Midoriya let out a small sigh, before pushing himself up into a sitting position. Ryuto let out a small chirp, still perched on top of his head, and Reiko climbed up onto the boy's lap, as Midoriya opened his own bottle of soda and took a small sip.

"You know... I think this just proves how great you are."

Midoriya turned to Shinsou, as the lavender haired boy scratched his neck, "Not that I'm saying that getting attacked by villains is a good thing... but... you know... villains consider you dangerous enough to try and take you out specifically. I don't think I've heard anything like that, even among students like the Big Three, and given who my current parents are... I would have heard about it if something like that ever happened."

The greenette just took another sip of his soda, relishing in the knowledge that his drink definitely wasn't contaminated with poison or drugs, before he replied, "That's... probably just because I'm quirkless. I'm just a liability that's easy to take out."

"Don't say that." Shinsou sighed, turning towards the smaller boy, "You're definitely not a liability. Even Time Stop said so. Being able to stop time is a really powerful quirk... and despite that, she still thinks that she had to drug you to stand a chance of taking you down."

"From what I could see, she couldn't place any knives close to us whenever she activated her quirk. I think there's some space around a person where Time Stop can't manipulate when she activates her quirk. If you have a fast enough reaction time, you would be able to evade or deflect the knives in that short period of time." Midoriya stated, "Plus, with powerful quirks like time-based powers... there is usually a recharge time in between each usage."

Shinsou just let out a small laugh, and Midoriya just looked up at the lavender haired boy, "What's so funny?"

"Nothing." Shinsou took another sip of his drink, "I just think you're amazing."

"I -" Midoriya blinked in confusion, "... what?"

"You kicked your old classmates' asses, and analyzed a villain with a rather dangerous quirk, all the while being drugged." Shinsou smiled softly, "Your abilities aren't quirk-based. No one can take them away from you. Not like everyone else's. I just think that's amazing."

The both of them sat in complete silence, as Ryuto nestled down in Midoriya's fluffy green curls, before the green haired boy spoke up, "I guess being quirkless isn't all that bad... right?"

"Yeah." Shinsou smiled, "It isn't."
