Dressed in the suit Hizashi had bought for him at the store, Papa was in the process of tying his tie for him, the voice hero clearly able to read the anxiety seeping from him.

"You're going to be just fine, Tosh, All Might will look after you, and of course Zuku, Mirio, and Kirishima will be there too." He paused. "You're not alone, okay?"

Hitoshi nodded before burying himself against his Papa.

Hizashi gently began to stroke his hair as he wrapped his arms gently around him, holding him close.

"We'll be right here when you get back and we'll have lots of cuddles okay; you can choose what we do."

'T-O-T-O-R-O?'

The voice hero smiled.

"Of course, Tosh."

Looking at the time on his watch he placed his hands on his son's cheeks before offering a smile as he leaned forward to press a kiss to the top of his head.

"Come on, you two need to be heading off."

It was a beautiful day outside, the temperature was warm, the sun was out, and the gentle breeze was lovely at keeping him cool in his suit. The number one hero turned to him.

"I was going to call for a taxi but considering how nice it is I thought maybe we could walk?"

Hitoshi nodded.

The two walked in silence for a little while before he took a breath and began to sign.

'ALL MIGHT?'

The pro hero smiled at his name sign.

"Yes, Master Shinsou?"

'THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AFTER ME'

"There's really no need to thank me."

'SORRY ABOUT SIR'

The number one hero sighed.

"You lost him too, Hitoshi."

'YEAH BUT YOU KNOW HIM LONGER'

"I did, he was my sidekick."

Hitoshi smiled.

'HE ON ALL MIGHT ADVENTURES FEW TIME'

All Might chuckled.

"You're going to make me feel old if you talk about that; to think that Midoriya and Bakugou grew up with that cartoon and are now of age to attend UA, where has the time gone?"

'THEY WANT ASK YOU ABOUT SHOW'

"My memory isn't what it used to be but I remember some things about recording it; Mirai was one of the main reasons it was made, he knew All Might was popular with kids so he talked with some producers about creating a show and it ended up being a kids cartoon. Mirai was a genius when it came to publicity and marketing, and of course I had an old friend of mine in America designing my various costumes for me."

'YOU HAD GOOD TEAM'

"The best, I miss those days."

'YOU AMAZING TEACHER NOW THOUGH'

"Why you thank you, Hitoshi, I'm sure a lot of your fellow students wouldn't agree with you on that one." He teased. "My presence at the school has also brought with it a target which I should have expected before accepting the teaching job."

Hitoshi fiddled with his fingers nervously before beginning to sign.

'MY FAULT NOT YOU'

The pro shook his head.

"Whatever they made you do back then, and whatever intel you gave them about me had no bearing on what happened back at the USJ."

'BUT-'

"Master Shinsou, no one blames you for what happened back then; everything that took place was out of your control and you were only simply doing what you had to just to survive. We should be the ones apologising to you for not having spotted the signs of your mistreatment before the attack took place, you were a student for a few months prior to the USJ and it's a failing on our part for not being there for you when you needed us."

'I NOT ABLE TO TELL YOU ANYTHING ANYWAY SO NOT MATTER'

"Even if you couldn't tell us any details of your situation under the League doesn't mean we couldn't have provided you with support or given you food so that you weren't going hungry."

'THEY WOULD HAVE LOCKED ME UP'

"We wouldn't have let them do that, you're just a child, Hitoshi."

'DO YOU' He began before his fingers paused. 'DO YOU THINK SIR REALLY MEANT WHAT HE SAID? ABOUT HOW NOT MY FAULT?'

All Might's eyes widened a little bit before they became saddened.

'I NOT KILL SIR BUT MY ACTIONS DID. I NOT FAST ENOUGH'

"Hitoshi…"

'I NOT STOP SEE HIM DIE. REPEAT HEAD CONSTANTLY'

His breathing became faster as the panic set in.

The pro's hand came to rest on his shoulder as he knelt down in front of him.

"I believe every word he said, you were not at fault for what happened during that raid to anyone involved in it, and it's true that there was nothing more you could have done. Like I said, you're just a kid, so are Midoriya and Mirio. Nighteye knew the risks but they won't have mattered more to him than making sure the three of you were safe and able to get Eri out of there. I understand what it's like to feel guilty but you can't let it control you."

All Might stroked a hand through his hair.

"Nighteye also told you something else, right? Can you remember what it was?" He asked softly.

'Work hard and be sure to smile. After all, without joy and laughter to balance the sorrow, this world cannot hope to have a bright… future.'

Hitoshi nodded, eyes welling up with tears that he forced back.

"He believes in you and your potential as a hero, and knowing Mirai he wouldn't want to see you so upset over him like this, he'd want to see you smiling again."

'IT HARD'

"I know, and it's going to be hard for a little while, but there's also a light that can guide you from the place you find yourself in right now, you just have to take it or let someone guide you there, for you that's Aizawa and Yamada."

All Might gave him a pat on the shoulder before standing upright once again.

"Are you sure you want to come, you don't have to if you don't feel up to it."

'NO WANT SAY GOODBYE'

"Okay."

The number one hero held out his hand.

Hitoshi hesitated, making sure he understood the offer correctly, before taking the hand with a tearful smile.

"Then let's go and say goodbye together."
