As the work at Truncheon winds to an end, Jess finds himself alone at the conference table with Maj. It has been quite a while since he has found himself with a moment to chat with Maj. "So how are things at the firm?" Jess taps on the paper in front of Maj to raise her eyes from the document to meet his gaze. "Quiet for the next two weeks at least." Maj stops writing realizing that it has been a while since she talked to Jess and a free moment is worthy of her full attention. "Tess seems nice, you going to man up and spend some time with her since your schedule has freed up?" Maj is only half teasing with her response to Jess. She saw Jess interact with Tess. Her Jess seems smitten. She has not seen Jess this smitten since, oh hell, she can not even remember the last time she saw Jess smitten, A smile crosses Jess's face. "It has crossed my mind. You staying in town?" Maj sighs before answering. "With a full house, not a chance. I am Hamptons bound." Jess has heard a lot about Finn over time, Matthew likes the guy and when it comes to his sister, Matt is a hard sell. "So you like this guy?" Jess's phrasing makes a smile instantly manifest on Maj's face. "Yeah, I kind of like that guy." Chris, Matthew, and Tess have returned from fetching pizza and drinks as they head to the conference table to spread out the bounty. Maj had planned to immediately take off but has changed her mind to take some time to get to know Jess' new friend.

To Rory's surprise, Logan actually went for a walk to clear his head. From their history, Rory knows that Logan walks away when he does not know what to do. He did the same exact thing the night she first met his family at that disastrous dinner to share the news of Honor's engagement. With the passage of a few hours, Rory wonders if Logan walked to New Jersey. She straightens up to pass the time and occupy her mind, with the living room clean and the bed made, Rory decides to flip through the channels to find something to watch. After a while, she finds herself lost in Casablanca. As the story progresses, Rory feels the connection and the irony of the impossible choice. As she reflects on the thoughts playing on an endless loop in her head. When she first realized that she was pregnant, she went to see her father. She asked him about how he felt when her mother left to raise the baby on her own. The impossible choice lingers in her brain. Does she take the chance on the possibilities of the unknown and raise the baby on her own or does she choose the life she walked away from a decade ago?

Logan walks in loops on the blocks surrounding Majestic's house lost in his head. He cares for Odette, he could build a proper life with her, a life no one will question. She wants children in the future and is young enough to have those children. Honestly, with Odette, his life would be simple. Life with Rory would be complex, they have a history, Rory broke his heart... twice. They had an affair. She was the other woman in at least a dozen of his relationships. Together, they lied to people they loved. Logan has to admit that he is truly his father's son. He flaunted an affair. The only consistent person in his life was the one he was lying to everyone about.

He is honestly no longer sure if he loves Rory or if he is addicted to Rory. He loved her when they were young. Rory is what he pictured when he saw marriage and children as a young man. He watched his mother turn a blind eye to affairs and the general shenanigans of life with a Huntzberger male. Logan reflects on Honor's life. Honor has built a nice life. Josh adores her. She has beautiful children. Her life is not one scandal. The scandal of life with Rory may be short-lived, it would ebb and flow at the whim of the tabloids. The thought of what kind of life he would give a child. Lavish sure but it would be a childhood like his own. Logan cannot help but think perhaps coming to Philadelphia was a mistake. He came with the best of intention but then again the road to perdition is paved with good intentions. As he circles back to Maj's block, he makes the decision to leave Philadelphia and head back to Honor's house. Upon his return, Logan spies Rory sound asleep on the couch with the TV playing at a volume that would mask his presence. Fully realizing what a dick move it is, he fetches his bag. With a last glance over his shoulder, Logan heads to the garage.

The sun has gone down as Maj pulls in her driveway. She cannot help but notice the fact that her car is not in the driveway. For the briefest of moments, Maj wonders if her house is back to being her own. The ascent to the top of the stairs answers her question with the presence of Rory pacing back and forth across the living room floor. With yet another roar, Rory turns on Maj as soon as she notices her presence. "This is all your fault." Maj does not bother to utter a single word in response. Maj pauses for the briefest of moments at the foot of the steps. "Rory, I had nothing to do with Logan's decision to come here and had nothing to do with driving him away." Maj walks up the stairs to pack with the knowledge that there will be yet another confrontation with Rory on her way out.

On his arrival back in the Hamptons, Logan decides against going directly to Honor's house. Logan instead turns the wheel in the direction of the Rothschild Estate. He could use a session with Finn to unload his soul before Honor gets a hold of him.
