The Beginnings of a new life
Chapter 91th
Jose Alverez was nervous having to be sitting on one of the airport benches after paying for his ticket to head for Washington, D.C. to take out with his contract for Auriel aka Melissa Anderson.
The airport was busy at this time of the night. He wasn't able to notice of the NCIS agents nor the security officers of the airport coming from behind him.
Right away with guns ready. Lt. Jack Reynolds and Jon Adams of the local NCIS regional office told Jose Alverez to hold still with no movement. "You're under arrest Jose. Your associate Luiz Gomez had given you up to be part of his deal to protect him."
Another agent much younger had placed the cuffs with his wrists behind his back while giving him his rights. While Jose decided to talk as well with another man involved in this mess. I will need protection as well gentlemen before the senator finds out about the fact that myself and Luiz had spoken to you."
"Wait one goddamn minute! Are you telling me that a senator is involved in this contract of yours and many others? Lt. Jack Reynolds of the NCIS regional office had to say.
"Yes, and I have a tape recording of several conversations with Senator Stephen Hill of the D.O.D." He had shocked a number of people that the senator will actually be involved. Even though had been rumors for mouths that he was giving Intel to the different Cartel leaders.
"Where is this tape of yours Mr. Alverez?" he asked...
"I couldn't take the chance with bringing the tape with me to Washington, D.C, so I placed into one of the airport lockers. Here is the key and I will show and give it to you."
"Come on let's go and show us? I will need to call Director Leon Vance of NCIS in Washington, D.C. about this latest development.
Walking to the lockers by terminal A. There were a bunch of lockers with Lt. Reynolds with the key looking for number 150 and found it with using the key to find inside in an brown envelope and the tape with phone conversations on it.
"Let's get the hell out of here and put him into protective custody." he ordered to his team walking back from the entrance they came in from the parking lot. There suspect was glad this entire nightmare was over. While Melissa Anderson was going to be safe after all.

At the hotel bar...
Colonel James Mann had been enjoying himself with the celebration party drinking Scotch on the rocks, while his team were drinking the shots heavy with the liquors. Nicholas Torres was staying with his chicken wings and fries until he was ready to drink.
Special Agent McGee decided to try a Black House shot with Torres telling him that he's going to get sick with the nine liquors. "I wanted to always try one Nick?" he said with the Oldies but Goodies playing throughout the bar.
"Well I did warn you!" he stated with ordering a Whiskey with another order of the Chicken wings.
A moment later McGee choked on the shot with getting rid of the shot. The bartender had asked him on whether he wanted something else.
"Yeah! I will have a Bourbon please. It's much safe since I had these before." he replied with the bartender going to work with putting it together.
Meanwhile Colonel Mann was enjoying himself with a woman having been sitting behind him. Her name was Rosa and a advisor for the Harrisburg, School system. She is divorced with one child age 14th. She had asked to buy Colonel Mann a drink. And then the rest of the late evening they had been dancing and drinking. While everyone in the bar had been looking at them with his team to make fun later like always.
After sometime she told him after dancing the last song with needing to go on home with a conference at 11 a.m. at the school.
Mann had wish her all of the best with a smooch to her cheek before leaving the bar to head outside into the cold and the smell of the fires in the wind...
He had decided that he had enough for the night after such a long day and evening with the operation. He went to say goodnight to his men finishing up with one of the last rounds before leaving as well. At least they were staying out of trouble for a change.
McGee and Torres were going to be doing the same with the bartender taking care of them to ring up their tab. While using the debit cards by the D.O.D.
