Hey guys! I hope that you all enjoy this chapter, as always your reviews and all mean the world to me and I love reading them.
To the person who said about Itachi; I am aware of all of what you said-I don't plan on giving other characters easy passes believe me-Obito and Madara were assholes and they will not be forgiven just like that. But what he did to Sasuke was wrong, I love him but it was, I get where he was coming from but he mentally tortured Sasuke twice in cannon, he did deserve to be called out for his mistakes-young or not, especially since Sasuke is pretty much Naruto's big brother figure in this fic and she is incredibly protective over her family-if people hurt them she's pissed, hence why she was angry with Itachi because like it or not he did hurt Sasuke a lot and he wasn't forced to use Tsukuyomi on his little brother he made that choice himself. There was no way that when Naruto met him she wasn't going to call him out on hurting Sasuke and-in her eyes abandoning him, but she does have sympathy for him at the same time.
On saying that Naruto is very much aware that he's a victim too, it's a fine line, what happened to him was very wrong but what he did to Sasuke was also fucked up and led to a lot of trauma which ended super duper badly in cannon, and in Chapter 63 she and Sasuke made it very clear to the Sandaime that he handled the situation badly.

Next on Naruto and Fu's mission was Kiri, and Naruto was much more relaxed as they managed to pay for passage on a ship heading for the Island where Kiragakure was located.

The trip itself took three days, and this time Naruto wasn't bothering to hide who she was, wearing her coat proudly-one of her clean new ones-her prediction about the other coat had proved to be far too accurate for her liking and she couldn't get the blood out of the white fabric.

In any case when they reached land Naruto and Fu bid the crew of the ship goodbye and headed towards the village-thankfully Naruto had consulted maps this time so it didn't take them that long to locate it.

When they reached the gates that allowed entry into the village the guards eyes widened when he saw Naruto, and she and Fu were granted entrance quickly-and she was fairly certain that she saw a runner rushing off, likely to alert the Mizukage to her arrival.

Sure enough not even fifteen minutes after the two girls had entered the village, Fu peering around curiously and whispering about how it wasn't like she'd have expected given their reputation, Naruto spotted a familiar figure weaving his way through the crowds towards her.

She grinned widely as she lifted a hand and waved lightly. "Haku-san!"

"Naruto-san. It's good to see you again. We weren't expecting you."

"Yeah, sorry for showing up uninvited-"

"Oh it's not a problem-" Haku's eyes flicked to Fu, a curious look on his face, "Who's your traveling companion?"

"Oh right." Naruto grinned widenly, "Haku-san, I'd like you to meet Fu-san. She's a new friend of mine from Takigakure. Fu-san, this is Haku-san, I met him a few years ago."

"It's nice to meet you Fu-san." Haku smiled warmly and gave a small bow, "Any friend of Naruto-san's is a friend of mine, and of Kiri."

"Same here." Fu grinned widely, "Naruto-san saved my life."

"She seems quite skilled at that-in a sense she also saved mine and my masters."

"Hardly Haku-san-"

"You saved us from the coldness of our lives." Haku said smoothly, shaking his head, "I feel sure that we would have died soon enough if it hadn't been for your influence-and we would have died alone and unfulfilled. You inspired Zabuza-sama into returning to Kiri which inspired more people to join Terumi-sama's cause."

Naruto's cheeks were pink and she rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly, "Okay okay, I'll not argue over it. Anyway Haku-san. I'm glad you came to meet us... is there any chance of us being able to take to the Mizukage?"

"I'm sure she'll be willing to have an audience with you." Haku nodded, "She's with Zabuza-sama at the moment, he's one of her most trusted advisors and guards. They're discussing something though I'm not sure what."

"That's fine." Naruto shrugged, "We just need to talk to her if that's possible."

"Come with me and I'll see what I can do." Haku started to move, glancing back to make sure that they were following him-which they were. "So might I ask where your friends are Naruto-san? I know you and your teammates are close."

"I went on a training trip. It's a long term one, technically I'm still on it at the moment though it's turning into more of a personal mission so to speak."

"I hope that your meeting with Terumi-sama helps in some way."

"It will." Fu piped up, grinning brightly, "I gotta say this place is so different than I imagined-" Naruto winced slightly when Fu said that, but Haku laughed rather than getting offended as she was worried he might.

"Thank you. I shall take that as a compliment. Kiri has an unpleasant past-I know that better than most, but Terumi-sama is doing her best to erase our old reputation and fix our past wrongs. She wants to start over and make Kiri a place that people enjoy living in."

"Well it's pretty cool from what I can see." Fu shoved her hands into her pockets as they walked. "What did you mean when you said that you know that better than most?"

"I have a Kekkai Genkai." Haku stated calmly, "Before Terumi-sama's coup people like me were hunted down and murdered for things beyond our control."

"That's horrible." Fu frowned, "But at least it's better now right?"

"Yes." Haku smiled, "It truly is. I didn't believe I'd ever call Kiri a home again, not really, but now I can do so and feel proud."

As they moved through the streets of the village people stopped to stare, Haku didn't seen too bothered so Naruto assumed that it was normal, and when she saw a bunch of kids whispering and pointing she decided to bring it up.

"You seem pretty used to all this," she tucked her hair behind her ear, "I guess you're pretty well known now huh?"

"Yes." Haku laughed, "Thanks to my connection to Zabuza-sama... and of course there's the fact that you're here. You're very well known in Kiri-especially after the exams, my teammates are terrible gossips, they were very excited to tell everyone who they met Nohara-sama, the girl who helped save a Kage's life."

"Oh Kami are you serious?" Naruto laughed, "It's bad enough back in Konoha."

"Of course it is, you're a hero." Haku looked amused.

"You did what?" Fu's voice was curious, "You saved your Kage?"

"Uh.. kinda." Naruto gave a sheepish grin, "I got myself involved a fight between him and Orochimaru-"

"The Snake Sannin?"

"Yeah." Naruto nodded, "That's the one. Yeah I definitely threw myself in the deep end, Orochimaru used a forbidden justu
that made it a real close fight but my fuinjutsu knowledge came in handy. I guess that's my Uzumaki blood shining through."

"Undoubtedly." Haku nodded and Fu laughed.

"That's super cool Naruto-san."

They followed Haku as he led them towards the large building, and when they headed inside the guards let them past, bowing low with wide eyes as Haku weaved his way through the corridors and halls, clearly used to navigating his way around the building.

They climbed a few staircases before they reached a room with a shut door that Haku knocked on firmly.

There was some movement from inside of the room and then Zabuza opened the door-looking annoyed, though his scowl slipped away when he saw Haku, turning into a faint smile before his eyes widened when he spotted Naruto.

"Naruto-san."

"Hello Zabuza-san." Naruto gave a wide grin, "It's been a while."

"It has." the man nodded. "I wasn't expecting to see you here."

"I know. I'm not here on an official mission-"

"You're not?" Zabuza's eyes narrowed, "Then why are you here brat?"

"On a personal unofficial mission. I was hoping to speak to the Mizukage?"

"Hm." Zabuza shifted, glancing back into the room, "It's Haku-kun and Nohara Naruto-and someone else. Apparently Naruto-san wants to speak to you."

"Then let her in." the voice was pleased and Zabuza stepped side, the three teens slipping into the room.

The woman at the desk was striking with her pale skin and vivid auburn hair, long and flowing. And she was smiling widely at Naruto as she pushed herself up so that she was standing.

"Nohara-san." she greeted warmly, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"I feel the same Terumi-sama-"

"Call me Mei."

"Then you can call me Naruto, Mei-sama."

The woman laughed, "Good. So you're the girl who sent Zabuza and Haku home."

"That would be me." Naruto grinned, "I'm glad it all worked out."

"It truly has. I really am grateful for what you did."

"I was just trying to make a point y'know." Naruto shrugged.

"Well it seems you succeeded. So-"

Mei sat down, folding her hands together on the desk. "As much as it's a pleasure to meet you and you're more than welcome here, I have to ask, what do you and your friend-I don't believe you've introduced us yet-what do you two want here?"

"My name is Fu." the green haired girl spoke up quickly, "It's nice to meet you Mizukage-sama."

"We come with a warning." Naruto admitted, expression becoming more serious, "Have you heard of a group called the Akatsuki?"

Mei and Zabuza exchanged concerned looks, and after several long moments the man spoke up. "We have heard of them." he admitted carefully, "Of one member specifically, a man in an orange mask-"

"Oh." Naruto tensed slightly, "I've met him."

"He had my predecessor under a Genjutsu." Mei informed her gravely, "Which influenced several of his more... harsh, decisions."

"Oh." Naruto's expression tightened. "How did you find out."

"A loyal shinobi realized and broke the Genjutsu during our confrontation with the man. Yagura-san is... somewhat broken by what happened to him. We still don't know why this mystery shinobi did it-"

"I might know." it had been Kiri shinobi who'd kidnapped her mother, who had sealed Isobu into her, who Obito would have blamed alongside Kakashi for her death.

"You do?" Mei leaned forward, her eyes wide, "Please do tell."

"Revenge." Naruto shook her head, a bitter expression on her face. "On Kiri, for something that happened a long time ago."

"What?" Mei frowned, "Revenge for what?"

"He believed the actions of some Kiri ninja led to the deaths of someone he cared for."

"You know who it is." it wasn't a question, but there was curiosity burning in Mei's eyes.

"Yes." Naruto nodded, letting out a slow breath, "Yes I do. He's a monster." she swallowed hard "He's the man who set the
Kyubi on the village over fourteen years ago."

"Ah." Mei nodded slowly, "The attack that killed your parents-don't look surprised the news of your identity reached us quite quickly-especially since we already had interest in you thanks to your actions regarding Zabuza and Haku."

"I guess it makes sense that people know." Naruto conceded, "It just feels strange, we kept it a secret for some time."

"Kami knows how, from the pictures I've seen of your father you look a lot like him."

"I do." Naruto smiled before faltering, "We're getting off topic. So you know of the Akatsuki but I doubt you know of their goals." she took a deep breath, "I don't know what their final plan is but I know that it includes capturing the Jinchuriki and extracting the Bijuu from inside of them. I won't beat about the bush Mei-sama. I know that Kiri does have a Jinchuriki-"

"Haku-san. Go and get Utakata-san now."

"Yes Mei-sama." Haku left the room at an almost run, and Zabuza leaned forward, eyes narrowed.

"How did you find out that the Akatsuki were planning to kidnap the Jinchuriki?"

Fu glanced at Naruto, a question in her eyes, and Naruto gave a small nod-the situation was different from Kumo, Mei was friendly, unlike the Raikage, Naruto doubted that she'd see Fu's presence as a threat.

At Naruto's nod Fu relaxed, smiling brightly, "I'm a Jinchuruki. Naruto-san and her friend saved my life when they came for me."

"I see." Zabuza nodded, "Do you know anything more about them that you can use to warn us?"

"Not much." Naruto admitted, "I have a contact who would know more but right now I can't get the information. I'd be willing to send you what we can find out though."

"That would be much appreciated." Mei nodded, trading glances with Zabuza. "So that we can prepare."

"We'll make sure Utakata has protection." the man said gruffly. "He'll be here soon so that you can warn him yourself I have no doubts."

"Thank you." that was Fu, a smile on her lips, "For caring about your Jinchuriki."

"Of course we care." Mei shook her head, "Utakata is a good man and a skilled shinobi-"

"And someone taught me not so long ago that us shinobi aren't simply weapons." that was Zabuza, a faint smirk on his lips.

"Hah." Naruto laughed, "I'll take that as a compliment Zabuza-san."

"It was meant as one brat."

There was a comfortable quiet after that as they waited for Utakata to arrive, and arrive he did after perhaps fifteen minutes.
He was a tall man, pale skin with straight dark hair and a warm smile on his face wearing a loose blue kimono.

As soon as he stepped into the room Kurama spoke, his voice soft in her mind, "Saiken's Jinchuriki."

"That's the Rokubi yes?"

"Yeah. Yeah it is."

"Mei-sama, you wished to see me?"

"Yes Ukataka-san." the woman nodded, "I'd like you to meet Naruto-san and Fu-san. They wish to speak to you."

"Oh?" Utakata looked at the two teens curious, "Why?"

"To warn you." Naruto bowed her head, "There's an organization known as the Akatsuki. They're hunting down the Jinchuriki in the hopes of extracting their bijuu."

"I see." Utakata nodded, "But why warn us?"

"Because it's the right thing to do."

"Jinchuriki solidarity." Fu grinned, "Nice to meet you Utakata-san."

"A fellow Jinchuriki." Utakata seemed pleasantly surprised, "It's a pleasure to meet you Fu-san. Might I ask where you're from?"

"Takigakure."

"I'd like to talk about our burdens at some point if you would be interested."

"Yeah, I'd like that." Fu grinned, "And it's not like we have any other places to visit right Naruto-san?" "I don't know the location of the other Jinchuriki so no, other than my plans to go home-" Naruto paused, a thoughtful look on her face, "I might pop to Wave on my way."

"Awesome." Fu grinned, "Then I wanna stay here for a while before going home."

"You're an honored guest." Mei smiled, "I truly appreciate you both coming here to warn us."

"As I said before." Naruto smiled, "It was the right thing to do."
