The beginnings of a new life
Chapter 96th
Once again Colonel Mann after eating the food he ordered from room service. He tried to sleep without success. He had so much on his mind even though he had spoken with his friend Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
He said the hell with it right now with getting up to take another shower just for the hell of it. Afterwards he was going to just watch TV. He had already spoken with his wife Ann finding out on how she was feeling with the baby. It was going to be strange for him and his wife to be raising another child at there ages. Even though he was thinking about Jethro almost 70 years old and his wife in her late fifties to be truly amazing for the most part.
After his shower feeling cleaner than ever. He settled down on the bed with the TV trying to find a movie he can watch even if it 's a SCI FI movie. There was a tv show on with Star Trek with the actress Joan Collins with the title called "THE CITY ON THE EDGE OF FORVER." He settled in with everyone once in a while drifting off until he realize it was almost time to get ready to meet the team downstairs outside of the hotel with the two black trucks waiting for them.
Feeling okay for now ...He was able to give them one last quick briefing before moving off with going to search for the third warehouse for the Cartel...

He had already spoken with Gibbs a few times about his friend's mission going out again. He had advised Vance to try and take it easy with everything on the line.
Melissa had come down twice to check on Vance on whether or not he was coming up stairs.
"Are you serious! I am worried about Colonel Mann and the team. This is very important for everyone Melissa. Especially involving the Cartel." he stated...
"Very well Leon I won't bother you. I am going back stairs to bed." she said with giving Vance the feel that she was disappointed...

Colonel Mann and Lt. Jackson had been walking in separate directions as with the rest of of team on foot. It was getting colder as time passes for the most part.
Julies had been walking near the heavy bunch of trees with walking in slightly. This is when he had spotted the two story brick warehouse. He called Mann with his earbuds to tell him that he had located the warehouse while giving him the coordinates.
"On my way Lt. Jackson. I will be there in eight minutes. Over and out." he said with beginning to run with the special goggles over his eyes in order to see where he was going.
Having to stop twice to catch his breath. Since it's been awhile since he's done this type of running. His hands were cold as he kept rubbing them together before moving off once again.
Lt. Jackson checking his black watch with the goggles. Colonel Mann should be arriving within the next moment. Looking for him. He had noticed him running with stopping short of him out of breath.
"Hey! Old man. You can't be running like that anymore?" Julies was teasing him...
"Very funny Julies. Where is it?" he ordered feeling better...
They walked into the thick trees to see it. They walked in to check the side door to be having a combination lock. "I will be able to use the pick lock to get inside?" Julies had to mention with a smirk on his face.
Since Mann knew that he knows his business for breaking in any building.
Within the moments using the lock pick with opening the combination lock. He had pulled it off with the heavy insulated gloves though it was cold as hell.
Walking inside with turning on one light so not to let anybody in the area to see it. Colonel Mann advised his team to get here quickly with the coordinates given. Meanwhile Colonel Mann using his goggles to see where he was going in front of him.
While Lt. Julies Jackson had seen one of the crates opened that was having all types of pills and small bags of cocaine. But what was on his mind was the fact that why would anyone working here will leave the crate top off the crate. He went in searching of Colonel Mann coming down the stairs quickly not really checking everything for anyone to be hiding. For which there was one lone man hiding inside one of the crates. He knew that they will probably be coming up to have his rifle ready to fired. Though he was going to lose his merchandise.
Meanwhile Mann gave the order staying inside with Jackson and the others to hurry up with placing the charges.
He wasn't able to get out having to wait it out upstairs.
Some twenty minutes later working fast with the cold. They had placed enough of explosives on the third warehouse. Colonel Mann had kept looking at the crate with the top off. He needed to asked Julies about it.
He had come inside with Mann calling him over asking the following...
"DID YOU OPENED THAT CRATE TOP JULIES?" HE WAITED FOR HIS ANSWER WITH CONCERN.
"Nope! It was already opened sir. I was wondering the same thing." he said with nervous energy.
"Everybody over here now. I want all of you to check this place quick. Lt. Jackson and myself will head to the second floor." Both Mann and and Julies with their weapons in their hands with Mann going first as he's supposed to.
Taking there time to the top of the steps when ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE WITH GUN FIRE.
The lone man with his rifle had fired four times at Colonel Mann with the third bullet hitting his stomach dropping to the ground in extreme pain...
