Hey guys I am so glad you're enjoying this! I love writing these chapters, they were so much fun, I love the drama of it all lol, and there's certainly a lot of it.
Now before you read please remember that Kakashi did literally spend years emulating Obito and putting him on a pedestal-he doesn't feel like that anymore but anyone would be conflicted in his position because lets face it, he's traumatized as hell.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the big reunion! You can't hear but I'm cackling madly at your suffering, though hey, Rin get's be be badass so that's fun. Pissed Rin is scary Rin.

Naruto ran.

It took her less than five seconds to figure out where they were-the training ground had always been a safe zone for them and it was easy for her to recognize-and she supposed it would be imprinted in Obito's memories too.

Luckily Naruto knew the area well, and she took off, her heart pounding in her chest as she ran, seizing Kurama's chakra, pushing it into her legs to speed herself up-though she didn't take enough to form the chakra cloak-she really didn't want to tip him off to just how strong she was yet, that was for last resorts after all, and she was sure she'd manage to get away before he could catch her and if not she'd use the cloak.

She didn't even make it out of the training ground before Obito materialized in front of her, and Naruto pivoted, turning herself around impressively as Obito lunged for her, diving to the side, dropping and rolling, pushing herself up fluidly as she formed a Rasengan with Kurama's chakra, a deep red rather than it's normal blue as she skidded and turned, slamming it into Obito's stomach as he reached for her.

He was forced backwards but Naruto was moving again, terror fuelling her every motion as she tried to dart around him.

Then roots were curling around her ankles and she cursed, yanking her foot out only for them to lash around her ankles.

And Obito was glaring at her, looking very pissed off.

"I warned you not to try any thing stupid." then he was in front of her again, one hand wrapped around her throat as he slammed something against her stomach and it burned for a brief moment, Kurama's chakra being torn away from her, though at least this time she could still sense him, it was just blocked and muffled rather than totally cut off as it had been when Kabuto had sealed him, and then there was a sharp pain in her stomach, her gaze shifted downwards and she could see the glint of metal in his grip, pushing a kunai into her stomach. "I didn't want to hurt you. You just can't help yourself."

"I won't be your hostage a second time." Naruto choked on the words.

"It was smart, using the Fox's chakra-I had hoped you'd think better of that but do you honestly believe I'd forget our first fight? I've spoken to Orochimaru, he gave me a rather handy seal."

"Fuck you." Naruto choked the words out, "Fuck you Obito."

"Now now. I'll release the seal after I've spoken to Rin." she was stuck, cut off from Chakra entirely.

She wasn't unskilled with taijutsu of course, but against someone like Obito she was hopelessly outmatched if it was all she'd had.

She'd been so stupid. He'd had the upper hand and she'd failed to regain it-she should have thrown caution to the wind and decided to use her full strength, should have used her Kurama mode, if there was anyone she could justify using it against it would be him.

Instead she'd held back because she wanted to keep it tucked away for more dangerous fights and now she was fully at Obito's mercy.

"She'll never forgive you for this."

"We'll see." Obito pulled the kunai out and Naruto gasped, pressing a hand over the bleeding wound. "Now, where would she be?"

"You really think I'm ever gonna tell you?" Naruto demanded, voice shaking. "Fuck you Uchiha I'm not going to lead you to her I'd rather die." she'd do anything to protect her mom.

Annoyingly enough Obito's response was simply to raise an eyebrow, "Fine, don't cooperate." his grip on her throat tightened painfully, "Let's see. Rin was a medic, if I know her that won't have changed, so if she is in the village the first place to check would be the hospital yes?"

Naruto hated herself for the panic that flashed in her eyes as she struggled harder and Obito smirked with a nod.

"How very fortunate for you. I believe you need medical attention."

Naruto had no choice in the matter, a moment later there was the now familiar sensation of Obito using his Kamui to transport them, and then they were in the reception of the hospital-there were shocked gasps and yells at their sudden arrival, though thankfully it didn't seem to be too busy, and Obito tightened his grip on Naruto, yanking her so that she was closer to him as the desk medic rushed forward, "Nohara-sama! What happened-are you okay?"

"She's injured." Obito's voice was filled with faux concern, "We need her mother."

"Of course-"

"Get away from her!" the scream was high and terrified, and Naruto's head snapped to the side, eyes widening when she saw Karin stood in the hall panting.

She must have sensed them. The red haired girl was wide eyed, panicked. "Another Uzumaki." Obito raised an eyebrow, "I'd be very careful, Naruto-chan is injured I'm simply hel-"

"I said let her go!" Karin repeated, scared but so determined that it was strangely comforting.

"Not until I've seen Rin." Obito moved forward, pushing Naruto with him, and Karin screamed again.

"LET HER GO!" and then chains burst from Karin's hands, shooting towards Obito, who froze, his eyes widening-then they were wrapping around him, clamping his arms to his sides, forcing him to release his grip on Naruto, who gasped as she stumbled forwards until she was hitting her knees, half way to her cousin, who was stood, face pale, beads of sweat breaking out on her forehead.

Naruto turned her head, twisting to look at Obito, who was struggling in the restraints-for some reason he couldn't use his Kamui Naruto realized-though there was a chance he was faking in order to see Rin... still she had to hope didn't she? That the chains Karin had summoned could hold him.

They had him trapped, for however long Karin could hold the chains, and the people who had been in the reception were panicking and fleeing, leaving the two girls alone with Obito.

Hadn't her mom once told her about her birth mother having Chakra chains? Either way Karin was struggling, they must use a lot of Chakra.

Naruto swallowed hard, shifting so that she was sat, pressing her fingers to the bleeding wound in her chest, swiping the blood in a rough pattern over the seal.

As if Obito would realize if a seal master made a small addition to the chakra suppression seal, she'd be offended if she wasn't in so much pain.

The only problem was that it took about a five minutes to unlock the seal without Chakra, which was time she hadn't had when she was trying to escape him.

Each second that passed felt like an hour as the seal burned and then faded away entirely, taking the suppressant seal with it.

Then she felt her Chakra rush flooding through her and she pushed herself to her feet, ignoring the fact that she was bleeding, ignoring the pain in her stomach as she made her way to Karin, clamping a hand on the girls shoulder and pushing her own chakra into her.

Karin gave her a worried look, "You're hurt." her voice was shaky, strained, and Naruto winced.

"I'll be fine. I always am."

"I don't know how much longer I can hold him." Karin admitted, "I-"

"Naruto-chan!" Rin burst into the reception, her eyes wide, focusing on her daughter first as Naruto let herself topple into her mothers arms as the woman's gaze swung to Karin, and then followed the chains.

They widened at the sight of Obito, who's eyes were wide, his mouth open.

"Obitio." her voice was barely more than a whisper, and then Rin was snarling, tightening her grip on Naruto, who pressed her face into her moms shoulder. "You." the word was a snarl, "What the fuck have you done?"

"Rin." the name was barely even audible, a stunned whisper. "Rin-chan."

"Don't you dare." Rin snarled the words, "Did you do this? Did you hurt my daughter-"

"I needed something to make you talk with me-"

"So you hurt my baby girl? You hurt my daughter? You fucking touched my daughter?"

"She wouldn't cooperate-"

"Wouldn't-oh I wonder why." Rin's eyes changed, turning a deep red with the whites going black as she seized Isobu's chakra, lowering Naruto to the ground
gently, "Stay here a second sweetheart. Mommy's just dealing with something."

"Rin-chan please." Obito's voice was pleading, "Let me explain please-" but Rin was moving already, surging towards him, palm smashing into his stomach, and where she touched coral started to form, growing, hardening around him, trapping his arms to his sides even more thoroughly, he would have fallen back if it wasn't for Karin's chains-which she released, dropping to her knees and panting with exhaustion as soon as Rin's coral had contained the Uchiha, who was struggling in the coral restraints as Rin snarled at him, grabbing the strip of fabric from his cloak that was exposed just above the coral in order to yank him closer to her.

"You wanted to talk? You fucking use my fifteen year old daughter to force me to talk to you?" she hissed the words, "Then lets talk Obito. Let's talk about all
the shit you've done using what happened to me to justify it shall we?" there was fury in her voice, "For one thing you had no right, no right to ask Kakashi to protect me! I'm not some helpless victim I am a fucking Shinobi! I make my own choices knowing the risks and putting something like that on Kakashi wasn't just unfair it was cruel!"

"I just wanted you to be safe-" Obito started, a desperate attempt to explain himself, but Rin cut him off, snarling.

"You do not get to control my life you do not dictate anything about me Obito! I don't care how much you cared you had no right to demand that of him-and
then... then after I got Isobu sealed into me you had the nerve, the fucking nerve to blame Kakashi!"

"I thought I saw him kill you! I saw him with his hand through your chest!"

"And I will never forgive myself for doing that to him!" Rin screamed the words, "Did you even look at him Obito? Did you even look at his expression did you see his tears because I did! I saw every moment of it before I passed out, I saw the horror and the guilt that he should never have felt because none of it was his fault! He needed us! He needed us! You should have looked at him and seen. You should have known."

"How? How was I supposed to know! I saw you di-"

"One look! One look and you'd have seen his pain! His tears! You had no right to cast him as the villain. You and I? We were the only bad guys that day. Me because of what I did and you, you because you left him there alone just like I did! He's the one who needed to be protected not me!"

Naruto felt a rush of pride for her mother as she dragged herself over to Karin, together both of them slumping against the wall, watching as Rin tore into the Uchiha.

"Kakashi wasn-"

"He was the victim! Not me! What I did nearly killed him! They called him friend killer Kakashi Obito! If it wasn't for Sensei I don't know if he'd have survived, and I know that because Gai-san told me as much! And then, and then you..." she shook her head, "There is no way to justify what you did then. No way. I don't even know how you knew Kushina-nee was pregnant but-"

"I came to kill Kakashi. I found him talking to the memorial stone. Telling us about the pregnancy. It was like a sign-"

"You heard from me?" the voice came from the entrance to the hospital, Kakashi was stood in the doorway, a horrified expression on his voice.

"Kakashi." Rin's voice was soft, "Kakashi get the girls out of here."

"Obito." Kakashi's eyes were glued to Obito, and he was moving toward him, "Obito I-"

"Bakashi." Obito's voice was tight, his eyes dark as he turned his head to look at Kakashi, "Seems like you recovered well from my hand through your shoulder."

"Obito I-I'm so sorr-"

"Don't." Rin snapped, "Hatake Kakashi I swear to Kami if you so much as consider apologizing to this bastard then I will deck you with a Bijuu chakra enhanced punch and knock your head off your shoulders."

Kakashi faltered, eyes flicking between Rin and Obito, his expression twisted with pain. "Rin-"

"No. No he doesn't deserve your pity or mine."

"Rin please-"

"Obito shut your fucking mouth!" Rin roared the words, her voice going deeper and echoey as she pulled on more of Isobu's chakra. "I'm not fucking done with you. You attacked Sensei! You attacked the man you once said was the closest thing you had to a father! You attacked Kushina-nee! She used to bring us cookies and fuss over us before missions and you attacked her! You took her baby from her and you killed her! You took Kurama from inside of her and you killed her." she was crying, "Do you know how much damage you did? How many lives you ended? Why? What could ever be worth that-"

"You!" Obito screamed the word, his eyes glued to Rin, "I did it for you! To get you back! To be with you again!"

"What?" Rin released her grip on the cloak, reeling back as if she was burned, "You-you did it for me?"

"This world was broken and wrong I wanted to fix it and for that I needed the Bijuu! I had a plan I was going to fix the world and bring you back-"

"I-" Rin shook her head, "No-no don't you dare.. don't you dare Obito." she clenched her fists, "How were you going to do it Obito?"

"I can't-you wouldn't understand Rin... you wouldn't understand, I needed to have the Bijuu. I want peace I want to bring peace! Madara-sama told me his plan and I thought it was crazy at first but then you died and... and suddenly it wasn't so insane. Everyone would be happy and at peace. I need all of the Bijuu, once I have them I'll have all I need and then I can cast the ultimate Genjutsu on the moon, everyone would be happy and at peace and I'd have you back, and Sensei and Kushina-nee-"

"No." Rin shook her head, a disgusted look on her face, "No you wouldn't you'd have some perfect dream world versions of us back, and they'd be fake. All of it would be fake. You're living in some delusional dream world and if you ever even thought for a second you'd know it was a pathetic lie!" she snarled,
"As far as I'm concerned you're not Obito-"

"Rin-" Obito looked like he'd been struck, "Rin-chan I-"

"Don't." Rin snarled, "It's Nohara to you."

"Rin-chan..." Kakashi's voice was faint, stricken, and his gaze flicked to Obito. "O-Obito-kun I-"

"Kakashi." Obito's gaze swung towards Kakashi, his expression filled with pain, "Kakashi-kun-"

"Don't you plead with him now." Rin spat, "Don't you try and manipulate him after all you've done!" she was moving forward, and her fist hit his face hard, sending him flying into the wall, the coral shattering around him as his body dropped to the floor, and he stared, his eyes wide as blood dripped from his nose-clearly broken-then he was in front of Rin, who stumbled backwards and Obito's hand cupped her cheek.

"Thank you." his expression darkened, "For showing me that this world truly is cursed." he stepped back, "Next time I see you I'll be taking the Bijuu from inside of you-"

"Obito please wait!" Kakashi was rushing forward, reaching out for Obito even as Rin threw herself at him, arm wrapping around his waist, stopping him before he reached Obito, who disappeared once more.

If she'd been a moment later Kakashi would have undoubtedly disappeared with him. Then Kakashi was dropping to his knees, slipping out of Rin's grip, staring blankly at the spot Obito had been instants before.
