We made it to 100 chapters! Thank you all for following this story up to this point and becoming immersed in Inuyasha and Kagome's life. I was very invested in this story at the time where I was writing these chapters and I'm really excited for you to read what comes next.

Plus, after episode 8 of Yashahime came out yesterday I had to revisit this story for something less sad. That episode early killed me.

One other thing. I added another song to my Inuyasha and Kagome playlist. I was listening to "When You Say You Love Me" by Josh Groban and I felt like it really summarized their love. The list of songs in the playlist is in my bio.

Please continue to read and review.

February 1

I spent my afternoon with Sango and a few of the other women in the village, like Kimi and Kiara. Every now and then we would gather to drink tea, sew, and talk about whatever was going on at the time. They were all so accepting of me from the time I came back to this era last year. I was grateful to feel so included in their circle. It was really nice to have a group of girlfriends to sit and talk with sometimes.

We hung out for a few hours and Sango and I left together.

"Kagome!"

I heard Inuyasha's voice but I couldn't see him anywhere. At least until he jumped out of a tree nearby and landed next to us. Sango jumped, startled by it.

"Geez, you can give someone a heart attack that way!"

Inuyasha laughed. "Kagome is used to it by now."

I gave him a hug and a kiss. "Were you waiting for us the whole time?"

"Not the whole time. I've only been up there for about 15 minutes. I thought it would be nice to walk home with you."

"Thanks, love," I said happily before giving him another kiss.

"Is Miroku at home?" Sango asked.

"Yup, he's there. The last time I saw him, he looked ready to tear his hair out. The kids have been kinda cranky today."

Sango sighed. "Oh no, I guess I'd better go save him. See you later."

"Bye, Sango," I said as she headed in the direction of her house. Then Inuyasha and I went home as well.

"We're going to exterminate some demons from a village in a few days," Inuyasha said as we walked home. "Doesn't seem like too big of a deal but they're willing to pay generously for it."

"That's great, can I come?"

"Of course you can. I think it'll take a day, maybe two, to get there."

"Well, Miroku has a knack for getting us some good lodgings so that should be fine."

Soon we arrived at our house and Nico immediately ran over to us. I picked him up and kissed his forehead. "You missed us, didn't you?" I said. I turned to Inuyasha. "Who's going to take care of Nico while we're gone?"

"We can get Rin to do it," Inuyasha said. He rubbed Nico's head. "She's responsible. I'd trust her to remember to feed him every day."

"True. She adores him, I'm sure she'd love to take care of him." I turned to my husband and kissed him. "Want to help me make dinner?"

"Of course."
