Falling onto the hard pavement below, Todoroki groaned as he felt both his mind and his muscles screaming for help. His mouth ran dry as he flashed back to just a couple moments ago when he last felt Amari's warmth, a warmth that would soon be gone forever. No, this couldn't happen, he had to stop it.

But as he struggled to lift his head up, a boot came down on the surface, crushing his skull as the two men above him laughed at his misfortune. "So, can we kill him now? The boss said we could after we left that girl's sight."

Widening his eyes, Todoroki felt his breathing completely stop as he took that very sentence. Wait, they were never planning on letting him live? What kind of cruelty was that?

Amari had just given herself away for his sake and yet that villain was still only satisfied with shattering any speck of hope and joy she had left. After everything she had done, he was not going to let it end just like that.

The boy weakly lifted his hand up to activate his quirk only for one of the men to quickly grab his hand and use his other foot to slam the appendage into the ground roughly. "Oh would you look at that? Lover boy is trying to save the day. Face it kid, you're wasting your time, we both know you don't have any strength left."

Weakly struggling against his arms, the men only seemed to find the action rather humorous, smiling back as they pulled a gun from their pocket and twirled it around in warning of what was to come. "You can blame your hero father for this by the way. The boss wants to send a message and what better way to do that than killing his precious son?"

So that was it, it was all about his father. He knew being related to the number one hero would've had its challenges but the boy supposed it made sense from a villain perspective. They wanted to terrorize Endeavor through him.

He wasn't sure if it was going to work though, given that the two didn't have the best relationship. Although, that didn't make the reality any less terrifying. He couldn't die now, he still had to be a hero, he had to save Amari from her fate, he had to do something other than be a pathetic child.

Although his thoughts were slowly interrupted as the man cocked his gun before firmly placing his against Todoroki's temple without a second thought. "Any last words before I pull this trigger?"

Todoroki knew the man was probably hoping for him to fall apart at his words, to crumble and plead for his life. Although the boy had other things on his mind. "It won't work. Killing me won't invoke anything in my father."

And that certainly got a reaction out of the man, his brow twisting in confusion before thinking about his words and noticing the seriousness in the boy's tone. He couldn't be serious, right?

Whipping the thought away, the man's finger moved to grace the trigger as he shrugged. "Well, I guess we'll have to find out, won't we? Goodbye little Todoroki."

Although when the man expected Todoroki to close his eyes for his upcoming death, the boy remained still, staring straight into his soul, almost as if he wasn't going to let his murderer see his fear.

It was a very Amari move, one that the boy had seen over and over again whenever she was in a dangerous situation. No matter how terrifying it was, no matter how much she didn't wish for it, he knew the girl never faltered and because of that so wouldn't he.

The sound of gunfire echoed through the alley as Todoroki waited for the pain, for the utter darkness to overtake him but he was soon surprised to find that there was none of those things, only screaming, and it wasn't from him.

Twisting his brow in confusion, the heavy weight disappeared a moment later before two strong arms wrapped around each of his shoulders, cradling him with such warmth and concern.

He couldn't hear their voices from the loud buzzing in his ears but they sounded panicked and soft, wanting to fall into them immediately.

"S-Shoto? Hey, it's alright, you're okay. Natsu, give me a hand here!"

Todoroki then felt another arm on his waist, pulling him up as the male voice seemingly checked him over for injuries. "

"Come little brother, you can do it. You gotta stay with me, okay?"

Moving his head to the side, Todoroki tried to focus on the voices until the words came to his lips without a second thought with unsaid confusion. "Natsuo, Fuyumi?"

The two seemed rather jumpy at his response, his sister leaning down before grabbing his hand lightly. "That's right Shoto, we're right here. Dad is here too, he's..."

Although just as she said that, a loud groaning sound filled the space as Todoroki blinked to find his father fighting off the two men that had held him down before, the gun seemingly erased from his hand as well. Wait, did Endeavor save him?

Punching the last villain, Endeavor huffed at the unconscious men before turning around to meet the eye's of his son, a thousand unsaid words passing between them as Todoroki realized he missed him "Father.."

His voice was so incredibly fragile, shaking the man out of his thoughts before running up his son and staring down at him roughly. "It's okay son, I'm here."

The gentleness in his voice almost made his son break immediately, turning around to survey the scenery as his siblings hoisted him to his feet in order to speak better. "B-But how? No one else knew this location but.."

That's when Todoroki stopped, letting his own words sink in before realizing just how his family arrived in his exact location to save him. The only one that knew the location of All for One was Amari. Could it be..?

Almost as if he was reading his mind, Fuyumi spoke up for him. "Dad got a call from Amari's brother and he told us where you were. He said that Amari asked us to be here, so of course we had to come."

Shaking his head in exasperation, the man recalled the rushed phone call from her brother a couple hours ago with a sigh. As much as he disliked it, that girl had saved his son. "That girl is ridiculous."

Todoroki couldn't help but widen his eyes at the confirmation, knowing that she had planned this all out so easily in order to be safe. That crazy girl really did everything for him, didn't she?

Although that's when another painful reality began to set in as the boy looked back towards the warehouse in terror. He couldn't be thinking about this right now, because if she thought of him first then that meant she wasn't thinking for herself. She was just going to die if he didn't do something.

Trying to move his body, Todoroki grunted in pain as a new panic set over him, causing his siblings to keep their hold with concern. "Shoto, what are you doing? What's wrong.."

Only half hearing their words, the boy continued to struggle before realizing that any more movement would cause him to fall unconscious. No, he couldn't give up yet. Amari was still in there. "A-Amari, she's..."

Suddenly the ground began to shake underneath them as the two Todoroki siblings tightened their grip around their brother as Endeavor frowned. Well that couldn't be good.

A loud screaming soon filled the air as two large claws worked their way from the top of the warehouse, causing everyone's faces to hallow. Those were Nomu, and pretty high grade ones at that.

Almost immediately, Endeavor snapped back into his hero mode, turning to his kids before blocking their bodies from the monster that was heading straight for them with a mutter. "Bakugo was right, he really brought out everything. I was really hoping it wouldn't come to this, now I gotta admit she was correct. I can already picture her smug face later.."

Turning his head towards the front of the warehouse, the hero shouted back. "Natsuo, Fuyumi, get Shoto out of here! There is a medic in the front waiting for him with the rest of the pros."

Widening their eyes in panic, the Nomu jumped to life in order to kill them only for Endeavor set a blaze of fire as the beast veered off course, just missing their heads.

Fuyumi flinched at the sight, not being familiar with such dangerous stakes as Natsou quickly snapped her out of it by pushing her shoulder. "Sis, come on! Sho needs us, we gotta go!"

She nodded back as Natsuo quickly picked up the boy as a wave of nausea washed over him in an instant. No, he couldn't leave now, Amari needed him, he was the only one that knew about her sacrifice. "N-No, Amari, she's still..she's still..."

But the words didn't pour out of his mouth fast enough as the two Todoroki siblings quickly ran out of their fathers site and down the alleyway, the three seeing billows of fire take up the sky immediately.

Rushing as fast as possible, the two kids huffed before a large mass began to block their pathway only for Natsuo to scream towards his sister roughly. "Sis, use your quirk, quickly!"

Fuyumi quickly nodded before letting her hands frost over before freezing the Nomu's entire hand, giving them enough time to leap through its claws and towards the front of the building where a fight had broken out.

Quickly finding the medic, the two Todoroki's then unloaded their little brother before watching him immediately trying to get back up as he rambled back absentmindedly. "A-Amari, no please...A-Amari...we have to help her..."

The doctor only pushed the boy back down though before quickly taking out an anesthesia from his pocket and injecting it into the boy despite his protests.

Immediately the effects started to kick in as the sedative worked its way through his system, blocking spots threatening to cloud his vision. His body wanted to sleep but his mind was still in chaos, forcing itself to stay awake because he knew if he gave up then Amari would be dead the next time he opened his eyes.

And that was a reality he didn't want to face.

As the sounds of the fight raged on from outside, Amari couldn't help but smirk back towards All for One as all the pieces clicked into place perfectly.

She had come to terms with the result of this battle already, knowing that she wasn't going to survive. It was inevitable, but that didn't mean she wasn't going down without a fight.

For too long people like her were pushed to the side, manipulated into believing some false reality only to be punished by their own dreams in the end. She wouldn't allow it, she wouldn't let Eri and Ember and every other kid in this world be pushed around anymore, over her dead body.

This was about more than her, she knew that now, because when she died she knew that her legacy of a change wouldn't ever stop. She hoped not anyways. That's how it started out and that's how she would finish this, being remembered.

Thinking back to the day that she selfishly told Todoroki about her health, the girl couldn't help but smirk to herself, knowing that those words still rang true even now.

"You see, I could very well live a normal boring life without using my quirk, sitting on the sidelines being happy until I grow old or I could live with just a few years and so something worthwhile with my life. You know, saving people, helping others. I could be what I always dreamed to be and make a difference in this world, I could be a hero."

How funny to think that her past words still applied today, that no matter how lost she had gotten along the way, the girl had always known how this was going to end.

And though she had grown in every way imaginable, Bakugo knew that this would be as far as she would go. But this time she wasn't scared, she was at peace with the idea.

Glancing towards her brother besides her, the two shared an unspoken look before hearing All for One call back from across the room smoothly. "Oh little one, I'm so disappointed in you. It seems we have to start training you from the beginning once again. So what should we do first, kill your brother or your precious friends?"

Amari would be lying if she didn't feel a shiver appear up her spine at his words. She knew she had fully disobeyed which meant that no one was safe. He would try to break everyone in order to spite her.

Her brother seemed to realize her fear though, turning his head with a slight scoff. "Hey asshat! Bring it on, I've been waiting for this day for a long ass time. Every fucked up thing you've ever done to her, I'm about to make you regret it!"

A moment later, Deku stepped forward as well, standing to her left as he frowned. "Yeah, we won't let you do anything else to Mari-chan, she's our friend and we'll protect her with everything we have!"

Feeling the support from her brother and friends, a hard ball of emotion echoed in her throat as All for One's eyes dropped before straightening his suit sleeve carefully. "Very well, it looks like you are going to be far more difficult than expected."

The villain then turned to the rest of the league before ordering low. "Take care of them, would you? Kill anyone you'd like, but leave the little one to me."

Gulping at his words, Katsuki and Deku readied their quirks before the league of villains rushed towards them quickly, leaving All for One behind as they grinned madly. It seemed like they were waiting for this moment.

Amari snapped into a serious expression before pointing towards the boys next to her roughly, the gold in her palms already threatening to escape. "Katsuki, Deku can you clear a path for me..?"

Katsuki couldn't help but scoff at that, knowing that she was going for All for One. "Obviously. Just don't do anything stupid, you hear me?"

Smirking back, the blonde haired girl only turned her head before replying. "Have you met me Katsuki? What can I say, it's a twin thing."

And just like that, the rest of the hero course seemed to spring to life as well, racing forward to meet the league as Amari's hands bursted with gold matter. Katsuki and Deku were giving her a chance, she couldn't mess this up.

The two boys then took off running as Amari trailed behind them, watching Katsuki quickly dodge Toga's blade as Deku landed a punch on Twice just as quickly in order for Amari to run past them.

Already feeling the sweat on her brow, the girl then snapped her fingers before covering herself in her gold matter as she focused on reaching All for One as quickly as possible. The minute he realized they had the upper hand she knew the villain would join the fight, and she couldn't have that.

Because as confident as she was, Amari knew that she couldn't beat All for One, he was just too powerful. So that's why she hoped it would never reach that point, it couldn't reach that point. Bakugo refused to let anyone get hurt because of her.

Quickly seeing Toga's knife come into her vision, the girl narrowed her eyes before using her gold matter to block the hit before kneeing the poor girl into the stomach as Katsuki got distracted by Spinner to his left. "That's not very nice, I was so nice to your boyfriend too! I made him bleed really good!"

At the sound of Todoroki's torture, Amari stopped her goals before turning back to the crazed blonde haired girl with a new unsaid rage. What the hell did she just say? "Excuse me?"

The venom in her voice was telling as Toga giggled back. "He wasn't really my type but I still had fun with him. You're lucky Bakugo to have a guy that will spill his blood for you so easily! I wonder if you're the same..?"

Almost immediately, Bakugo growled before feeling her murderous intent through her Nomu blood. This bitch, she hurt Todoroki, she made him suffer. How dare she..

Feeling the knife sweep through the air once again, Amari glared before reading her explosions at letting off large bursts as the girl hopped away with ease.

Bakugo saw the blade reach towards her a moment later as she gasped in surprise, before using her gold shields to block the hit with a grunt. This girl was really going for it, huh?

Toga raised her weapon a second time as Amari took her chance before lowering her shields in order to raise a burning hand to her arm in order for her to drop her knife in a single motion. "You made a big mistake for messing with my Shoto, you crazy bitch!"

Giggling at her anger, the villain quickly switched hands before Amari gasped, quickly stepping away before the knife cut her sleeve, a line of blood dripping onto the floor in a single motion.

The girl then lifted up the blood covered knife before licking the object in a single motion, causing Amari to cringe. "Mmm your anger tastes amazing. I want some more. You'll give it to me, right?"

Narrowing her eyes, Toga then raced at her again as Amari put up another shield in order for her to block the crazy girl's attack before pushing her hands towards the knife in an attempt for the girl to stumble.

And stumble she did as Amari quickly turned off her quirk before punching Toga across her face with her gold fists in order for it to give her a bit more of impact, and pain. Usually she wouldn't have gone that hard but she did hurt Todoroki after all.

Groaning at the hit, Bakugo then quickly reached up before grabbing onto the arm that held her knife as she raised the temperature of her quirk in order for hard burns to appear on Toga's skin.

The girl hissed at the contact, attempting to switch her hands as Amari quickly swept her leg underneath the blond girl in order for her to lose her concentration and balance, stopping the motion immediately.

Toga was now kneeling as Amari raised the temperature of her quirk even further as the villain groaned in response, holding onto her knife for dear life as Bakugo narrowed her eyes. She was really holding on, what's she?

Feeling the warmth seep into her own skin at the heat, Amari grunted as well but remained strong, ignoring the quirk over use from the extended time and holding on.

A moment later, a loud clattering sound echoed through the space as the two watched the knife forcibly drop out of Toga's hands and onto the floor.

Knowing she was unarmed, Amari quickly turned off her quirk before kicking the girl in the stomach as she crumbled to the ground in a painful hiss as Bakugo sighed in relief. Any longer and she would've done damage to her body.

Without another moment, Bakugo then turned back to her original goal of All for One only for Toga to call back with a groan. "That's not fair, you cheated!"

Amari didn't acknowledge her though, instead waking away as the villain frowned before unknowingly reaching into her skirt before pulling out a small hidden knife, the gleam shining in warning.

The whoosh of the knife filled the air a second later before Amari glanced behind her only to gasp in fear as the object barreled towards her with no mercy.

Suddenly, a body moved in front of her as the weapon lodged itself into the strangers shoulder with a loud groan, causing Amari to widen her eyes at the familiar orange and green color scheme. "K-Katsuki..!"

Seeing the blood pool around his shoulder was something Amari wasn't prepared for, the girl quickly reaching to touch his wound before Katsuki threw an explosion at Toga in order to keep her away. "Oh my god, you're hurt..."

She tumbled back at the large scale attack before Amari's brother then pulled the small knife from his shoulder as it clattered onto the ground and pushed his sister back. "Get out of here you idiot, you have work to do.."

Yet seeing her brother hurt, the girl was immediately distracted. "W-Whaa? No, not when you're hurt. You shouldn't have blocked that attack, I could've..."

Seeing Toga slowly rise to her feet only causes Katsuki to narrow his eyes before turning to his dumb ass sister in order for her to understand the severity of the situation.

He knew she was worried but he wasn't some dumb extra, he could handle this crazy bitch himself. "Amari I swear to god, now is not the time! You better get your sorry ass moving!"

Although his sister was still conflicted, staring at Katsuki's injury, the injury that he had gotten because she had messed up. She couldn't mess up and cost her brother his life. No, please no, She didn't want that..

Suddenly, she was taken out of her thoughts when a hand reached behind her before firmly grabbing onto her hair and yanking her backwards with an immense amount of force causing Amari to cry out.

She watched Katsuki's eye hollow at her unknown attacker before a knife entered his vision, forcing the boy to turn away and fight Toga as Amari was pulled away from her brother quickly. "Amari! Get your fucking hands off my sister!"

The hands on her hair didn't move though, forcing the girl to cry out as he pushed her towards the ground roughly when she further enough away from her brother. This asshole must have done that on purpose so he couldn't interrupt.

Groaning into the ground, the man then pulled her head upwards as a hand made its way to her throat in warning, his four fingers resting on the surface. "I've been waiting for a chance to break you again Doll. Seems like I was right, you still aren't over that foolish dream of yours.."

She recognized her pet name immediately, glaring at the voice of Shigaraki as she quickly ignited her quick and touched the man's wrist in order for him to loosen his grip.

Back at Overhaul's hideout she was quirkless and defenseless but it was certainly not the same here, and she wanted the man to know it.

Shigaraki grunted in surprise as Amari took her chance before slapping his hand away and scrambling away from his attack a moment later so they could create some distance away from each other. "What a coincidence, I was looking forward to this also. You see, I'm still mad about the whole torture thing from before."

Smirking at her attacker, Bakugo's hands began to spark as the blue haired villain immediately ran towards her with his hands outstretched in rage. "You are still so annoying! Allow me to wipe that smirk off your face!"

Amari grumbled as his fingers reached forward only for the girl to quickly dodge out of the way in time, using her gold matter to cover the area that he was about to hit.

Feeling his fingers wrap around her gold matter, Shigaraki hissed before pulling away and trying again immediately for her leg, causing Amari to gasp before switching her quirk towards her leg instead so that it wouldn't leave any impact.

Switching the position of her gold matter was something that caused an intense amount of focus, one that she knew she couldn't hold forever. That meant she would have to get this over with quickly.

The villains watched her switch her quirk before trying again for her stomach only for Amari to quickly dodge under his arm before letting off a large explosion to create some distance between them. He couldn't touch her if he wasn't close.

Although her ideals were slowly switched when a large body wrapped its arms around her from behind, causing Amari to hiss as the skin on her arms began to crack around her in warning. What the hell, she thought Shigaraki was far enough away from her?

Groaning at the sensation, Bakugo quickly slammed her foot into the stranger's leg as he realized her, turning around only to find another duplicate of Shigaraki. How did he get there so fast?!

Amari held her arm in pain as Shigaraki couldn't help but laugh from the smoke of her explosions, clapping joyfully as she looked between both doubles. Wait, there were two now? Shit, it must have been Twice's quirk. "Not so tough now, are you Doll?"

Gritting her teeth at this new development, she didn't have enough time to think as both Shigaraki's came barreling towards her with immense speed on either side, causing the girl to panic. She could regulate the gold matter on her body but only in one specific place, with two blue haired villains it would be hard to dodge his attacks now. "Shit.."

She watched as their hands outstretched towards her as Bakugo quickly threw up as shield in an attempt to block out the attack for a moment before concentrating harder than before in order to manipulate her quirk better.

Feeling the heat begin to pool in her stomach, Amari grunted before forcing her quirk outwards as her shield pushed the two villains away from her in a single motion, giving her enough time to deactivate her gold matter for a moment and take a breath.

Quickly turning to the rest of the fight, she saw Katsuki still fighting Toga along with Deku taking on twice as the rest of her class took on the rest of the league. Everyone was busy so she knew it was up to her to finish this. That's right, to finish All for One, she had to get through Shigaraki first.

She then watched as the two duplicate villains ran towards her again, intent on their brows. It would be impossible for her to fight them off both which meant that Amari had to destroy the double first. That was her only option.

Although in that plan there were a few drawbacks. If she focused her quirk on the double then that meant she was leaving herself open to any attack from the real Shigaraki, and she would just have to take any hit he gave to her.

The plan sounded rough but with no time to think of any alternatives, Amari quickly turned towards the double so that her back was facing away from the real villain. Yeah it was stupid but this was the only chance she had to beat them alone.

If she got rid of the double quickly then that meant she would only have to face one Shigaraki, and that seemed far more ideal than having to deal with two crazed villains at a time. Plus, the doubles were weaker then the real thing so she assumed that was just the way to go.

Seeing the double aim its hand towards her arm, Amari quickly covered the area with her quirk before raising the temperature so that the fake Shigaraki would burn through the touch.

And burn through it did as when the double touched her arm, it quickly tore itself away, leaving a gaping hole in its hand as the man seethed back. This gave Amari an opening to punch the man in the face as she felt her leg burst out in unexpected pain at the same time.

Quickly kicking her foot away, Bakugo quickly turned around before blocking a hit from the real Shigaraki as her ankle screamed in seething agony. That villain must have gone for a low attack. Such a low ball move.

Forcing her hands into a hard explosion, Amari then quickly turned back before using the biggest explosion she was capable of on the double, hoping it would be enough for the man to disintegrate quickly.

At the same time, she felt the real villain's hand push into her back before using his full quirk while pulling her hair roughly as Amari gritted her teeth in agony, now feeling Endeavor's suit start to disintegrate under his hand. This wasn't good, soon he would reach the skin and cause serious damage.

But even so, Amari didn't falter, only focusing her eyes as she continued to use her power on the double until it melted away into nothing before quickly turning around and letting enough explosion off in Shigaraki's face with a grit of pain.

The villain didn't have enough time to process before he was blown back a couple feet and tumbling onto the hard ground as Bakugo let out a shaky breath. Reaching up to touch her back she frowned when she found blood.

Seems like she wasn't fast enough. Endeavor would probably curse her dead body later for ruining his costume.

Hearing a grunt of annoyance, Amari then saw as Shigaraki raced towards her again, anger purely etched into his expression. Crap, he sure was pissed now. Lucky her.

So much so, that Bakugo didn't realize his full body plowing into her as he used his height and strength against her, the girl gasping as she hastily put up another shield only for it to break under the pressure.

Shigaraki pushed further until Amari caved under the pressure as the villain toppled on top of her, trying even harder to maintain her gold matter in order to not be decayed by the crazed man.

He seemed to be enjoying this though, smirking through his withered lips. "What's wrong Doll? You don't seem too good. Are you ready to apologize for disrespecting Master?"

Although Amari was less than happy at that idea, shouting back with annoyance as she struggled against the man. "Oh, go suck a dick already you crusty faced asshole!"

His smirk dropped at her word before Bakugo could see slight cracks in her gold matter as he pushed his quirk even further. Shit, it would break soon and he had the upper hand. "Seems you need a bit more convincing. Would your brother's dead body be enough for you?"

Widening her eyes, Amari immediately pushed harder at his words, wanting to steal a glance at Katsuki to make sure he's already but found it impossible with this villain on top of her. He wanted to shake her, that was obvious and yet the girl still felt uneasy with his words.

It was enough for Shigaraki to gain the upper hand again as the cracks in her gold matter became more apparent, ready to shatter at any minute. She needed to do something, anything then let this crazed villain win..

Suddenly, Bakugo's gold shattered as an explosion of pain erupted in her chest, her power slowly burning her from the inside as Shigaraki raised his hand up, knowing that he had won already. "This is goodbye Doll."

Widening her eyes in terror, she heard a voice to her left speak back and couldn't help but notice the familiar. It sounded like her. But wait, she didn't open her mouth yet. "Or is it?"

Twisting both of their brows in confusion, Shigaraki couldn't help but scoff at the voice that strangely sounded like Amari before bringing his hand down for attack. "Yes, I think it is."

Amari quickly lifted her hands up at an attempt of a block as a gray scarf appeared in her vision, twisting next to her and wrapping around the villain as Shigaraki's eyes immediately grew glassy and dead, staring ahead in a solid trace.

Not understanding, she reached out only for another familiar voice to call back to her with amusement. "I hate to break it to you short stuff but you were getting your ass kicked there."

Quickly turning her head, she blinked only to find Shinso behind her, half of the winding scarf that had captured the villain safely around his neck. So that's why Shigaraki stopped so suddenly, it was his quirk.

He lifted his hand and Amari quickly accepted it, before replying. "Thanks Toshi, but how did you do that? That voice, was that you..?"

Nodding back, the purple haired boy pointed to his mask before answering plainly. "Yeah, it's a support item that Aziawa gave me. It allows me to mimic any voice in order to get them to answer easier. Come's in pretty handy, don't you think?"

The girl couldn't help but stare at the object with awe, knowing that he had saved her ass with it. "That's so cool! You look like a real hero already.."

A hard blush ran across his face as Shinso coughed to avoid the topic, glancing over to the other kids that were still fighting for their lives. Come on Hitoshi, now was not the time for this, others need you.

Suddenly a loud booming voice entered their ears, causing Amari's blood to run immediately cold. It sounded amused at the sudden display. "Very interesting. Your quirk is very useful boy. I think I might have to take it from you."

Widening her eyes the two kids turned only to find All for One strolling up to them carefully as Amari's heart dropped into her chest immediately.

Yes this is what she wanted but now seeing him before her without the support of her brother, it made Amari want to shake in absolute fear. She wouldn't let him take her friends' quirk, he had worked too damn hard for this villain to steal it like nothing. "D-Don't you dare.."

Racing forward in an attempt to shield her friend, Amari threw her arms up before glaring darkly. "Your fight is with me, not him."

Yet the villain only smirked at that, already lifting his hand up as the winds circulated around them in a single motion. "Ah but he's important to you, so now I must take it."

Gritting her teeth, Bakugo felt her palms begin to spark in her hands as Shinso placed a hand to her shoulder, already knowing she was going to fight for him. "Amari, don't. I can handle myself. I'm not that kid you helped train anymore."

Hissing in response, the boy noticed her hands start to shake from the anxiety of the situation. "I don't care, you are my friend and I'm going to protect you damn it! I-I can handle it, just stand back..."

Although the girl didn't move an itch as All for One snapped his fingers in sickening joy, the winds picked up with immense speed as the two had to put their arms in order to shield themselves only to find that the man had seemingly disappeared before their eyes.

That was until that small chilling voice appeared behind Shinso's back, whispering into his creations ear with sickening ease. "You're getting ahead of yourself little one. Have you forgotten who made you?"

Gasping in surprise, Amari quickly turned around only for All for One to slam his fist into her stomach with one of his quirks before grabbing her shoulders and throwing her away from the scene like a broken rag doll with ease as Shinso shouted with terror. "A-Amari..!"

The girl hit the back of the warehouse with a sickening crack before falling onto the ground, the purple haired boy seeing the area around her body soak with blood. Shit, this was bad, this was so bad.

His eyes hollowed again when he realized she wasn't moving, just crumbled onto the ground as the boy's breathing immediately stopped in his chest. No, No please no, get up Amari, get up damn it.!

After seeing her unmoving, Shinso cursed before grabbing onto his scarf as the man chuckled at his broken little one. "Shame that I had to get so rough but that little one is not needed right now. I'll deal with her defiance later."

Gritting his teeth, the boy shouted back roughly. "How dare, how dare you lay your hands on her. She's suffered from you for so long, I won't stand by and let you hurt her again..!"

Yet the man only saw his words as humorous, turning his head to the side in question. "Ah, we have another white knight. How wonderful. I wonder if you will still stand by her after everything? I suppose we will have to see.."

Narrowing his eyes in response, Shinso quickly focused on activating his quirk. If he could just get the man to answer his question then it would be all over and then he could help Amari. "Why would you say that?"

All for One only glanced towards the girl before fixing his sleeves carefully and gave to the boy just what he wanted. "Because she will be responsible for you losing your quirk."

Just then, the villain stood still as his quirk kicked in and Shinso quickly raced for action, knowing that his brainwashing wouldn't last long. He had to get this done quickly.

Throwing his scarf at the villain, the boy smirked, knowing that he had outsmarted All for One. Almost there, he just had to wrap the support item around the man and then it would give him enough time to at least check on Bakugo.

Although just as the scarf was about to make contact with the villain, All for One's hand forcefully grabbed the object, causing Shinso to widen his eyes in terror. Wait, he was supposed to be under his quirk, he wasn't supposed to be able to move.

Quickly touching his hands to his scarf in order to pull back, the villain only smirked before ripping the object out of his grasp and throwing the idea away before replying plainly. "You didn't really think your weak brain washing could hold me, did you? Looks like you still need some practice, little one."

Widening his eyes, the man then reached down before locking his large hands around Shinso's throat before lifting him off the ground roughly, the purple boy's feet dangling off the ground as he gasped to breath. No, it wasn't supposed to be like this. His quirk, it couldn't hold the man. He wasn't strong enough.

All for One then brought the boy closer to his face as he mocked plainly. "No hard feelings but when I see a quirk I like, I have to have it. I'm sure you understand, boy."

Shinso struggled under the man before the villain lifted his hand up before placing it roughly over his face to block out the light. Was this how it was going to end, without even being in the hero course, without being a brother to Eri, without having a family? It was all over so fast, almost like his entire life's work was useless.

Crying back loudly, the boy gasped for air as he felt his quirk starting to slip away from him slowly. "W-Wait, no stop! D-Don't!"

Although the man only found joy in his pain, feeling his power start to seep into the man as he smiled. "You can thank Bakugo for this."

Shinso started to feel weak a moment later, the black spots pooling his vision as the man knew this would be the end for him as a hero. It was so short, so painfully short but there was no other choice, his quirk was already All for One's.

Drifting his eyes closed, the boy was about to give into the darkness before a sudden burst of air forced its way into his lungs as Shinso hit the ground roughly a moment later.

He began to gasp for breath at the action, his cough filling the space as Shinso turned his head back towards All for One with widened eyes, still feeling his quirk inside his body.

The man was still standing there but the arm that once held Shinso was now gone and laying on the floor a couple feet away from him. Someone cut off his arm, but who..?

All for One seemed surprised at the action but strangely unbothered before turning in the direction of the hit plainly. "I see, so this is what it's come down to, huh? You weren't supposed to be conscious yet."

Turning his head, Shinso's eyes widened before laying his eyes on Amari as she shakily rose to her feet with her arm outstretched from her sudden attack.

Her arms were dripping blood as her temple displayed a large gash but she was still somehow standing from the impact. Did she save him? No, impossible. She had just given him his quirk back.

There was a fire in her eyes that couldn't be denied as she shouted back. "I already said this fight was between us, so get your hands off Hitoshi!"

The black veins of her Nomu blood began to pound against her skin, almost pulsing as Bakugo forced her hands to glow with her quirk in warning. Everything felt insanely dizzy but she kept her hold on reality the best she could.

She was not going down now, not without knowing everyone was safe.

Suddenly the glass a couple feet away from her began to shatter as four large Nomu crawled into the space before aiming its claws outstretched to anyone in its path.

She could tell these were low grade one's though as their minds were attacking any moving target next to him. Shit, things were just getting worse and worse, weren't they?

She saw one go immediately for Katsuki as his sister gasped before seeing black spidery veins shoot from his fingertips as they directly aimed at the girl. Fuck, she wasn't paying enough attention right now, she could only think of her brother.

So much so that Amari was just barely able to dodge the hit as she rolled onto the ground with a loud groan. Her body felt like it was one fire, quite literally actually.

She knew this was the start of her quirk over usage kicking in with full force. Usually at this time she would take it easy but that didn't seem to be possible here. No, Bakugo knew she had to give it everything she had.

Another batch of spider veins aimed for her as the girl quickly stumbled out of the way, squeaking in surprise as a large chunk of debris came barreling down at her the next minute.

Wait, was the building going to collapse at some point? Well, that was another thing to worry about.

Lifting her hands up, Bakugo let out a pained shout before using her explosions to disintegrate the debris into tiny specs of dust as they rained down around her.

She saw All for One lift his hand up again as the girl prepared for another attack before a flash of green ran past her vision, the bright electric waves taking up her vision as Deku kicked the black veins away before landing with a huff.

Whipping a bit of blood from his lip, he quickly turned to Amari before quickly stuttering back. "Mari-chan, are you okay?! I got here as soon as I could!"

Bakugo nodded her head in response before groaning as her muscles screamed in agony as she attempted a joke to lighten the atmosphere. "It's okay, getting the crap beat out of you builds character. It's all part of the experience, am I right?"

This caused the green haired boy to throw up a nervous chuckle before gazing at the all out war that was taking place a couple feet away from them. "Mari-chan, go help Kacchan with the Nomu. I'll distract All for One for you."

Twisting her brow towards the boy like he was insane, Deku quickly lifted his hands out in exasperation. "It's okay, he'll want to fight me since I have One for All. I'm sure he senses it. You wanna go help out everyone don't you?"

Amari couldn't argue with that, already stealing a glance towards Katsuki as his body just barely missed one of the Nomu's sharp claws. As much as she hated to leave her friend, Deku was right. Her brother needed her strength right now, whether he would like to admit it or not.

Gritting her teeth together, Bakugo then quickly rose to her feet before muttering to her friend with a faint whisper. "Please be safe Deku, the world needs you to be safe, I need you to be safe.."

Deku then gave a curt nod before the green electricity filled the area once more before immediately taking off towards the villain as Amari started to run in the opposite direction towards her brother and the rest of her classmates.

She just had to trust that he'd be okay, he had to be. Bakugo promised herself that she'd help make a great hero before her death after all.

Running with as much power as her body would let her, Amari quickly made her way over to her brother before seeing the Nomu's claws trying to dig into his skin roughly as the girl extended her hand.

Katsuki then watched as a solid mass of gold matter appeared across his arms with a heavy smirk. He knew that quirk anywhere, it meant his sister was in the area. About time. "Oh, you're dead now.."

Feeling his palms light up with explosions, Bakugo then pushed against the monster as it screamed out in pain from the mix of gold and fire on its arm.

Quickly jumping away, a large dome appeared over the boy as the Nomu's body rammed into the surface, only bouncing off the gold as Katsuki replied with a cynical laugh. "Get ready to die extras!"

Katsuki watched as the gold appeared all over his body before the boy quickly tore off running with his explosions, now fully aware of the protection he had with his sister nearby.

As planned, the monster couldn't even touch him as the boy propelled himself onto its back back letting off an explosion near its head, the beast screaming out a moment later as it tumbled to the ground in a lifeless thud.

Using his quirk to push him back down, the gold flicked away before seeing a familiar pair of crimson eyes to his left. "You sure took your sweet ass time getting here. I thought you were kicking that potatoes ass by now?"

Although as he focused his eyes, Katsuki saw the utter damage that his sister had taken, leaving her a bleeding bruised mess. "Shit Amari, what the hell happened? Let me see.."

Reaching forward to touch the gash on her head, another Nomu's loud footsteps neared the area as the two turned so that they were back to back in order to face whatever was coming. "Not the time, I'm here now, aren't I?"

Just then two Nomu started barreling their way towards them as Katsuki's palms sparks with his quirk in a threatening aura. She was right, as much as he wanted to ask about her injury, there were clearly other things on their minds right now. "Hey sister, let's show them who they're messing with.."

Smirking back at the name, Amari couldn't help but feel her own palms ignite as well, suddenly wanting to show everyone just how powerful they were. "I couldn't agree more brother."

Letting his flames take up the entire warehouse, Dabi lazily dodged one of the hero course students before hitting them on the side of the face. As weird as it sounded, he still hadn't registered that this war was actually happening.

He honestly didn't think that Bakugo would've been stupid enough to take on All for One and the league like this. It was as admirable as it was foolish. She would never win, that much was obvious. These people were just wasting their breath.

Instead he was distracted by the past conversation that they had shared at the bar, and the raging disappointment that covered the blonde girl's features. She called him a villain back there and he guessed that it was supposed to be an insult to her, but that's what he was, that's what he always was, a villain.

Bakugo was just letting her delusions get the best of her, allowing her hero complex to find good when there was never any to begin with. It was about time she woke up honestly.

He always thought of the whole idea as just plain idiotic in the first place. Of course he was a villain, that's what he was meant to be, what he would only be and some stupid blonde haired girl wasn't going to change that.

And the man knew that this whole charade wasn't even about him, it was about his brother. That's why she had reached out her hand to him, why she hadn't turned her back on him. It was all because of little Sho, not that red haired broken child that had cried out for help for far too long. She didn't care about him, that much was obvious.

Although it seemed like all of that was over as well, touching his old ring in his pocket before internally scoffing. Just like everyone else she had finally given up on him. It was only a matter of time before she left him also.

And yet for some damn reason, the man felt even worse about that conversation in the bar, so much so that he couldn't even get into the fight. That girl was making him go insane, he hated it. The sooner she was gone the better.

Seeing another U.A. kid race closer, Dabi frowned at his own thoughts before throwing out another burst of blue fire in order for them to dodge away. He just wanted all this to be over so he could forget about everything.

Although as he was thinking that, Kiri was able to get a hit on the man, causing Dabi to stumble backwards a couple steps given the strength of his quirk. He would have to counteract quickly.

Yet just as the man lifted up his hand to activate his quirk towards the red haired school boy, he heard a loud inhuman screech from behind him only to find one of All for One's Nomu falling straight in his direction.

Widening his eyes slightly, Dabi quickly changed the direction of his fire only for it's claws to reach up in fury. Stupid villain, why did he have to bring out the low grade Nomu, it's like they didn't know who their enemy was.

Swiping its claws down towards his man, the villain prepared for the worse only to meet with nothing of the sort. In fact, it felt like the Nomu didn't even touch him. That was strange, he swore that thing was aiming at his arm..

Although as he looked down to inspect the surface, the man gasped as he saw a flicker of gold matter around the area where the monster was supposed to hurt him. What the hell, where did that come from?

But just as it appeared, the glimmer quickly faded before Dabi immediately felt a hot ball of irritation in his throat. He knew that annoying gold matter quirk anywhere, it was that stupid Bakugo girl, wasn't it? Was she watching him?

Immediately turning his head towards where Amari was fighting, he saw her and her brother struggling against two large Nomu on their own as the villain stood dumbfounded. That girl that protected him, why the hell did she do that? It was obvious she had plenty of other things to worry about rather than him.

Dabi stared down at the place where she had used her quirk only to find an unsaid fury course through his veins. She said she was done with him, she said he was a villain, so then why the hell was she still protecting him?! It pissed him off, so much so that the man knew he needed to take his anger out immediately.

Although that's when the two locked eyes for a brief moment before Dabi saw her do something rather infuriating, she smiled at him.

It was a sad sort of lonely smile, one filled with acceptance as she fully knew what she was doing, that she was going to die tonight. It made him so furious, so unhinged that the man felt his fingers twitch with blue embers the moment he registered what happened.

It didn't matter that she pulled away in the next moment cause Dabi's motives were already set from that one look.

Unknown to her, Amari let off an explosion at the time, blinding the Nomu she was fighting before Katsuki reached up to punch it as a wave of blue fire appeared out of the corner of her vision a moment later.

His sister realized it first, quickly running in front of her brother before pushing him out of the way of the blast roughly. "Katsuki, look out!"

Then she quickly put her gold shield at Dabi's flames and shattered the object immediately, the heat creating slight ash to her face. She had never seen his fire this hot before.

Hissing at the pain, Katsuki then watched as the purple skinned villain quickly grabbed his sister's arm before pushing her back away from him, now seeing absolute contempt on his face as she yelped at the burns forming around her skin from the action. "H-Hey, get away from her!"

Warning bells immediately went off as the boy scrambled to his feet only for another Nomu to come at him full force. Shit, he had to do something. Who knows what that damn villain could do to her?! "Shit..."

Dabi continued to drag the poor girl away until they reached the second floor of the warehouse as he roughly threw her onto the floor. There was no one on this level which meant they could speak freely. He didn't need her spilling any more of his secrets to anyone else down there. That bird bastard was enough.

Coughing at the burns and ash in her eyes, Amari managed to mutter back. "What the fuck Dabi.."

She saw his fingers start to ignite before speaking back roughly, rather unhinged. "You really piss me off, you know that?"

Throwing a spit of fire in her direction, Bakugo's widened before rolling away quickly in an attempt to scramble to her feet in order to feet. Oh, so he was going to be like that, alright then. "Really? Cause I gotta say, the feeling is mutual."

Amari ignored the pain in her lower abdomen before forcing her quirk to manifest a small string of gold matter as he scoffed back. "I mean I knew you had a screw loose but do you honestly think you can win against all of us sweetheart? Stop attacking all noble for little Sho.."

Twisting her lips into a frown, Dabi then let off another wave of fire as the girl quickly threw up a shield, forcing it to maintain its shape under the pressure of his quirk.

Although it didn't last long as the girl saw the cracks start to appear around the blue aura. His quirk was just too strong, she couldn't beat him like this. "It's not about winning Dabi, I thought I told you that. It's more than that.."

Feeling her shield shatter around her, a drop of blood leaked from her mouth as the girl continued with a cough. "It's about a change, about someone standing up for us."

At the word "us", Dabi's temper immediately flared up before gritting his teeth with disgust. "As if you can do that.."

Yet that's when Amari's eyes turned dark before running straight towards the man with her hands glowing gold in absolute warning as she muttered back. "Watch me."

He had to admit, Dabi would've never expected the girl to run straight at him like that, as dangerous and reckless of a move as it was. He could easily burn her to a crisp like this, and that's exactly what he planned to do.

Lifting his hands towards her, the villain threw a blue flame before Amari quickly threw up her shield as it shattered a moment later. Although unlike all the times before, the girl didn't stop there. No, she kept running towards him with an unwavering determination.

Dabi quickly tried to counteract this with another fireball only for the embers to touch the girl as burns appeared on her face before continuing to run at the villain with no mercy. This crazy, she was insane. She was obviously getting hurt, so why wasn't she pulling back?

Although what he didn't know was that Amari was over his self righteous attitude, throwing all of her personal safety away in order to prove a point, and that she wasn't ever going to back down for this goal.

She reached him a moment later, Dabi widened his eyes in surprise as the girl let out a crying scream before punching the man in the face using the force of her quirk before kicking her booted foot into his chest as he stumbled backwards.

Noticing this new fight in the girl, the villain let his fingers ignite with flames before throwing a direct hit to Amari, knowing that the close proximity would cause her to create some distance from him.

Although that wasn't the case either as the girl only threw up another shield before it broke under the pressure of the flames, causing a couple licks to escape and begin to burn her arms as she gritted in pain.

But even so, she still didn't pull back even as Dabi threw a punch of his own, hitting her directly in the chest as she hunched over. "Are you insane?! What are you doing?!"

Yet the girl quickly recovered before kicking her boot into his leg roughly as she hissed back. "Shut the fuck up Dabi, you've been pissing me off since I met you! Why won't you see that I'm serious, that I want change like you!"

Her words brought a sense of annoyance to his throat before the man used his height advantage to push her backwards onto the hard floor with annoyance. "Because it's never going to happen sweetheart. Look around you, you're weak and useless to this world. Your foolish dreams will die with you because of that."

Growling back, Amari glared before throwing up an explosion in his face as Dabi counteracted it with his fire in order to cancel it out. "That's what you think. You see those people fighting down there?! It's because they all believe in the same dream, they are all fighting for us Toya!"

Bakugo then took another hit as Dabi kicked his foot into her chest as the girl coughed out another spit of blood, his voice unhinged and wrapped with fury. "Are you serious?! They don't fight for us, no one fights for us! Why would they want to when we are just fucking disposable? Face it, no one wants us sweetheart. If you want something, you do it yourself.."

His voice had suddenly taken a new form, one that Amari had only seen from him in that alleyway. The facade, the mask that he had so carefully placed in order to protect himself, was spilling away again. "T-That's not true.."

Yet she was stopped when Dabi reached forward to grab her shirt before lifting the top half of her body off the ground with fury. "Yes, it is. You just don't want to believe it in that pathetic little mind of yours. Everyone leaves, everyone gets fucking disappointed at some point, if not now then in the future..."

Frowning at his words, Amari immediately kicked his legs with her quirk, causing the man to loosen long enough for her to push him back onto his heel so she had the upper hand. "You idiot, that's not how it works at all! Not everyone leaves!"

Dabi couldn't help but scoff at her words before his fingers erupted in blue flames before letting off a burst extremely close to her face with pure emotion. "Then give me one example..!"

Yet just as the fire hit her face, Amari screamed back with heart bleeding passion, so much so that she didn't have time to put up a counter to his attack, only focusing on her words. "Me, you idiot!"

Widening his eyes at her words, the flames hit her face as the girl immediately slumped to the ground in a loud scream as she felt the skin on her eye start to melt around her before quickly patting away the flames with a whimper.

Although a moment later the girl placed a hand to her eye before hissing back in agony. "You pain in my ass, I haven't given up on you. I'll never give up on you. It doesn't matter if you don't believe it, I'll believe it for you until you finally realize you've been a goddamn idiot this whole time. Even if I die, you'll never get rid of me..."

Dabi couldn't help but stand their dumbfounded as Bakugo cried back in torment of her injury slightly. It was obvious she was trying to make it seem not as bad as it was, seeing her struggle on her to sit up even now.

He just just burned this girl, called her dream foolish and tortured her for the past year. Why was she still standing up for him, why was she still believing in him? It made absolutely no sense to the man. She should've left him long ago, that's what any sane person would've done.

So much so that his voice called back to her before he even registered it, desperate to know what was going on in her brain. "Why?"

It was just one singular word but it seemed Amari knew what had meant, muttering back through her pain. "Because, you said that when you needed a hero, they weren't there. I don't want you to feel like that again Toya, I don't want anyone to feel like that."

Standing in utter silence, Dabi stared down at the girl before thinking about her words. It is true, as he child he had cried out for help many times and yet they were all met with failure. He stopped calling out all those years ago because of that fact.

No, that wasn't right, he was always calling out for help but no one could hear him, no one could understand his utter loneliness and pain, that was until Amari started poking her nose around. How could she see through him like this, he hated it. He hated being so vulnerable with her.

Although his thoughts were quickly interrupted by Amari's screams as he turned his hand only to find that All for One's hand was around her throat with amusement. "So this is where you were little one? Good work Dabi."

Amari began to struggle as the man began to crush her windpipe very slowly, causing Bakugo to claw at his hands for breath.

She couldn't even see out of her left eye but she knew this was the worst type of situation. No one knew she was up here, no one knew that she was alone and in trouble right now. Her screams wouldn't even make it past this floor, she was completely and utterly alone.

The man only hummed at her torment before slamming her body onto the ground as the area began to crack around her as her bones screamed in agony with the impact.

She couldn't feel her body as All for One spoke proudly above her. "Now as a reward I'm going to let you do something very special my boy."

Pointing to her girl, Dabi watched as the villain smirked darkly. "Finish her."

Even Dabi couldn't help but widen his eyes at the request, not knowing how to answer. "I thought you wanted her alive? You know for your lame research or whatever.."

Yet All for One only nodded sadly before grabbing onto the back of Amari's neck before forcing her to face the purple skinned villain with a terrified expression. "Yes well, plans change. It seems this little one's defiance has tested me greatly. Once she's dead we will just take her blood and start anew. Possibly with someone less problematic this time. I was going to do it myself but you seem to have punished her well so far..."

Amari tried to struggle against the man but she already knew her quirk was spent, groaning as her power slowly burned her from the inside as Dabi looked down in confusion. "Are you sure about that? She doesn't seem all that problematic to me, just an idiot."

Yet the villain only frowned at his defiance before pushing the girl closer to the villain with impatience. "I've already made up my mind. So go on boy, finish my little one and I'll give you anything you desire."

Boring into the eyes of Amari, Dabi stood silent as the girl felt tears rise to her eyes before quickly blinking them away. Of course it would come down to this, it made sense for Dabi to be the one to kill her after everything. "T-Toya.."

Dabi saw the glimmer of tears in her eyes before feeling his hands twitch with heat. This was his moment, his time to show her that Toya was truly dead, that he wasn't ever coming back. Yes that's right, he had to go through with this and end everything.

Blue flames began to swirl in between his fingers as the villain lifted his hand up to the girl so it was only a couple inches from her. From here Amari could smell the burnt ash and cinders clear as day, knowing it would be the last thing she would ever smell.

She didn't blame him for his decision, honestly she expected it, now closing her eyes before whispering back to painfully soft that it stuck Dabi to his core. "It's okay Toya, I understand. Do it.."

Twitching his hand in question, Dabi paused only to process her words. Why wasn't she sacred, why was she just going along with this?! Usually she would fight or say some sort of smart ass remark but here it seemed she had some kind of level of acceptance about her.

All for One's voice quickly cut though the space a moment later, pulling Amari towards his glowing hand even further with impatience. "What are you waiting for? She's accepted it already so it's not a problem.."

His words were the motivation he needed as he reached his hand further as the flames began to lick the sides of her face but to Dabi's surprise, Amari showed no fear, no resistance, only acceptance.

Closing her eyes once more, Bakugo nodded her head before Dabi realized what that move actually meant. From the time he had meant her, the girl had only looked her captures in the eyes. She had never admitted defeat so easily. So why was she doing it now, why did she fully trust him to end her like this?

Although what Dabi didn't know is that Amari felt a sense of calm she had never experienced before, one that she knew was only because of her impending death. Because if she was going to die tonight, she was glad it was by Dabi's hand.

Because maybe that would spark some sort of change in him, maybe her death would cause him to rethink her last words, the one's she meant so passionately.

Thinking about her brother and Todoroki, Amari then felt as the heat of Dabi's quirk started to touch her skin before the girl braced for the worse, silently thankful for how far she had come regardless of the outcome...

I know I know, this is such a crazy cliffhanger but it's gonna be a two parter. Lots of things are happening here as we start to reach the end. Lots of wildcards happening here so anything could happen.
