Dabi sat up as the screen returned back to the program.

"About damn time," He grumbled beneath his breath. The commercial break had been a lot longer than he'd anticipated. So he grabbed himself some food and parked himself in front of the couch once more. He briefly thought to give Kagome a call but decided against it at the last minute. He wanted to catch her off guard, so he would call after this match.

His lips curved into a smirk, "Let's see what you've got."

The screen flashed the image of her stepping onto the concrete arena. A confident smile pulled at her lips as her eyes remained focused on her opponent.

Omoikiri Inuyasha.

It was a name he wasn't all that familiar with. Neither was his father, Omoikiri Touga, for that matter.

Dabi scratched at the skin beneath his eye.

"Number twenty-seven's son, huh? Figured they get more press coverage than this."

Truthfully the second year's tournament was barely a blimp on most people's radar. Those who were tuning in to watch were either bored of the other matches or were simply curious to see how the daughter of the most notorious villain would hold up in the ring. Then there were others bound to see this as an opportunity to recruit her.

His smirk fell away at that.

Kagome had told him about Shigaraki and the League after it'd happened. He still was concerned about the implication of the man's interest in her.

There were a lot of dangers he would have to keep an eye out for. No longer would he simply be hunting the vengeful fools that were targeting her. Now he had to worry about bigger game trying to nab her right out from his control.

His fingers flexed at the thought.

"Like hell," Azure eyes narrowed at the screen as she began to sink into an offensive stance. "We've both got our own plans. So I'll make sure no one interferes with that."

He watched as she motioned for Inuyasha to strike first in a move of confidence.

"You just bring home that win."

He'd be watching for them both.
