Together
"Hey, you." AJ smiled, climbing off the bed as Punk came into their bedroom the next day.
"Hey." Punk smiled, "What are you doing in here?"
"I was reading." AJ said, "And now I'm not." She smiled up at him, on her tippy toes as she leaned up and kissed him as he kissed back, feeling her undo his jeans as he chuckled against her mouth a little.
"Damn, what blue pills have you been taking?" Punk chuckled as she shoved him playfully.
"What?" AJ shrugged.
"It's three in the afternoon." Punk smiled.
"And?" AJ shook her head.
"We're having dinner with the girls at 6. Don't you have to shower and stuff?" Punk asked her.
"I'll shower after." AJ said, walking backwards to the bed, pulling him by his jeans as he chuckled, "What? You don't want this?" She asked him.
"I always want this, trust me." He nodded.
"Then take your pants off." She smiled, sitting down on the edge of the bed, gazing up at him, watching as he undone his belt, pushing his jeans down as she smiled.
She stood up, switching places with him and pushing him onto the bed as he laughed a little, watching her take her t-shirt and shorts off, climbing over him, hand dipping into his boxers as she began stroking him.
"Where's all this coming from?" He whispered with a smile as she kept her face close to his.
"You say that like we never have sex." AJ smiled back, kissing him whilst continuing to stroke him up and down, smiling as she heard him moaning once breaking from the kiss.
"Fuck." Punk closed his eyes over and moaned.
AJ pulled back, straddling his hips as she pulled her panties to the side, pushing his boxers down and guiding his length inside of her, slowly sinking herself onto him, knees pressing into the mattress on either side as she placed her hands on his chest to steady herself.
She leaned over him, lips beside his ear as she whispered to him, "I want you to fuck me."
He smiled to himself, turning to her as she nodded with a smile, feeling his arms wrap around her lower waist as he began to thrust up into her at the pace he knew she loved.
"You never wanna do the work." Punk teased breathlessly as she laughed, moaning as she looked into his eyes.
"You know I'm just here to take it, baby." AJ moaned, "Harder." She whispered, kissing his neck as Punk thrust into her harder, hearing her moans in his ear driving him to the pace she was begging for.
"Do we have to go out?" Punk asked tiredly, lying in bed with his wife under the sheets as AJ laughed a little.
"Of course we do." AJ said, equally as tired.
"I just wanna stay here." Punk groaned, "Let's pretend we're sick." He turned to her as she shoved his face.
"You're the worst." AJ laughed, sitting up on the bed as he pulled her back down, "Phil." She laughed, lying her cheek on his chest, "Come on, it's rare these days to go out with all of us in attendance. Before we know it Jude will be back in New York." She reminded him.
"I know." Punk nodded.
"I need to shower." She said, sitting up again, this time more successfully as she got up from the bed as Punk watched her looking in the closet, picking out a dress and laying out the things she needed to get ready.
"It'll take me five minutes to get ready." Punk nodded.
"Well then you can just lie there and watch me." AJ said, laying out her clothes.
"Where are we even going?" Punk asked. He wasn't clued up with the details.
"A steakhouse downtown." AJ told him, "Apparently Cassie and Theo have been before and they loved it."
"We could have just had everyone over for dinner." Punk shrugged.
"I know but I think because the Halloween party at the weekend is here and you know the girls hate feeling like we make a fuss and cook everyone dinner." AJ said, "This is nice. My babies are thoughtful." She smiled to herself.
"They are." Punk agreed.
"Ok, I'm going in the shower." She told him as he nodded with a smile, watching her walk around the bed naked and into the bathroom.
"Can you pass me the water please?" Thea asked, sitting at the table in the restaurant with her family, taking the jug of water which Jude passed to her to refill her glass.
It was a big table when all of them were together, but they wouldn't have it any other way. It just meant that sometimes the people at the top of the table wouldn't get a chance to speak to the people at the bottom. The struggles and joys of a large family.
"How many bread rolls have you had?" Jude asked Thea who was sitting across and along.
"Just… a couple." Thea said. Truthfully she hadn't been counting, "What? I'm hungry." She told Jude, making a face at her whilst AJ smiled to herself.
"How has things been at work? You glad to be back?" Punk asked, sitting across from Cassie and Theo.
"I'm super glad to be back. I was going stir crazy." Theo shook his head.
"It's just been normal." Cassie nodded, "Busy. I picked up four fifteen year old boys last night, smoking weed under a bridge." She said as Punk nodded.
"Sounds like fun." Punk said.
"It's always enjoyable delivering them to their parents. And then I get nervous cause I realise that Chase has to grow up and get older and I don't like that." Cassie frowned, looking over at Chase who was sitting colouring in some pictures which the restaurant had given the kids.
"I think you got some time." Punk laughed a little, "You got your Halloween costumes ready?" He asked them.
"Well remember it's just me and Chase that are coming. Theo has to work." Cassie said.
"Oh, yeah." Punk nodded.
"I might pop in on my break, if I get one." Theo nodded.
"Doubt it." Cassie scoffed, "And my costume is a surprise." She smiled as Punk nodded.
"What's he dressing up as?" Punk nodded to Chase.
"A mummy." Cassie nodded, "I said to Theo I'm basically just gonna TP my son." She said as Punk laughed.
"That's a good one." Punk nodded, "Hey, how's your mom doing?" He asked Theo who nodded.
"She's doing good. Me and Cass still go get her groceries for her every week and stuff but she's much better than weeks ago. She'll probably get physiotherapy soon." Theo nodded.
"My picture is better than yours." Sofia said, sitting beside Mirren, colouring in some pictures.
"No it's not." Mirren turned to her unhappily.
"It is. I used better colours." Sofia told her as Mirren glared at her.
"Well I stayed in the lines better." Mirren fought back.
"No, look." Sofia leaned over, pointing out all the parts where Mirren had coloured out of the lines, "James, whose picture is better?" Sofia asked her brother sitting across beside Chase, who was minding his business and playing with his cars on the table.
"Show me." The nine year old nodded, sitting his switch down. In his head, he was way above colouring in pictures.
"See." Sofia showed her his whilst Mirren held hers up hopefully.
"Mirren's is better." James nodded, looking at his sister with a smirk as Sofia gasped.
"No it's not!" Sofia yelled whilst Mirren smiled happily.
"Hey, what's going on?" Thea looked over after hearing Sofia.
"Mommy, James said Mirren's picture is better than mine." Sofia looked at Thea unhappily.
"Oh, baby. I'm sure they're both equally good." Thea nodded as Sofia rolled her eyes, turning to Mirren who smirked to her.
"You're too loud." Chase spoke up, looking over to Sofia.
"And you're a baby." Sofia looked over at him.
"No I'm not." Chase mumbled, colouring in his picture. They were naturally close cousins, teasing each other and playing with each other. Their mothers were sure they would grow up to be best friends, even if there was some disputes between them.
"You're just too adorable." AJ smiled, looking across at Leela who was sitting on Sean's knee, "Look at your hair." She chuckled upon Leela's hair which was tied in a band and sticking up like a unicorn horn.
"Yeah, Jude had her hair tied up as soon as she had enough hair." Sean laughed as Leela turned her head and looked up at him, "Hi." Sean nodded to her as she grinned, "You gonna eat all your dinner? Yeah?" He asked as Leela nodded.
AJ smiled to herself, feeling so blessed to be surrounded by all her family. Her babies and their babies. It meant the world to her, especially after the rough couple of months they'd had.
"Is Punker senior coming to the Halloween party?" Thea asked her mother who looked over at her with confusion, "Dan?" Thea questioned.
"Oh." AJ said, "Yeah, he's been invited. I'm not sure if he'll show up, though. Might not be his thing." AJ shrugged as Thea nodded, watching as their food began to arrive, "Now we're talking." Thea smiled excitedly as Dominic smiled over to her. They'd agreed to tell everyone their news on Halloween at the party, which meant a few more days of keeping it to themselves.
"Hey, is everything ok with Cass?" Jude asked her mother beside her quietly, looking down the table where Cassie was helping Chase cut up some of his food.
"Yeah, why?" AJ asked quietly.
"Just… ever since we've got here she's been acting weird with me." Jude said, "I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid but she just seems off." Jude shrugged as AJ looked over at Cassie.
"She's been fine." AJ shook her head, "Just busy with work, I guess." AJ said as Jude nodded.
"When we got here she deliberately sat at the opposite end of the table." Jude said as AJ turned to her.
"Jude." AJ scoffed, "I'm sure it wasn't deliberate. There's a lot of here." AJ laughed a little, "Stop worrying." She rubbed her arm as Jude just nodded. She was sure she was just being paranoid.
