AN: I don't own Naruto/Star Wars: Legends
GRS 4:10:3
Traversing the underground area, Naruto stared out the cockpit with wide, uncertain eyes. It wasn't space, but they were most certainly in the air. Underground. Traveling at high enough speeds to be more than dangerous, but also perhaps even more risky.
Near him, Yag was simply piloting. Each turn was simply another path, and other way to have charted themselves deeper within the winding tunnels, as though flying through an asteroid belt. He could easily do this, and could get them through it, so long as they could keep the ships off them.
Yag cursed under his breath as he felt the subterine shake from a blow. "Blast, dodging all these isn't easy in tight tunnels. Shields are still up Quin, but they won't hold forever!"
{I'm working on it.} Quin called over the comlink. Yag shook his head, trying desperately to get the ship to ease out a little faster. His mind was doing hundreds of calculations, trying to find each wrong answer to then piece his way through to the best course of action they could possibly get. It wasn't much, but for what he could do, it was better than nothing.
"I hate this... so much..." Naruto closed his eyes, chewing on his lip as he tried taking a deep breath. It was so much harder to do so in a ship that felt like it was shaking every few moments, and each time he opened his eyes, he saw stone rushing past them at high speeds.
Next to him, Aayla dug her nails into the seat. She could feel, tense. Her own annoyance, building in her, and seeming to resonate and bounce further. Like there was more to it, with other angers and such moving about her as she couldn't think straight. Slowly, her hand went to her lightsaber. She could easily slip back and do it. Just, take out her uncle's killer, then take his seat. No one would have to know at all.
{Would you two get out of your own heads and let me concentrate!} A sudden voice cut the two out of their moment, Aurra's sharp, frustrated spark catching them both in the chest. {If you want to be angry or scared, do it when I'm not getting shot at please and thank you!}
Naruto squinted at that, then remembered what he'd done. It had been to give them all a moment of peace, to be strengthened in the Force as they had gone in. When he'd used it before though, he'd most often done so on the ship, where nothing bad was happening. Now, amid explosions and racing stone, Naruto suddenly realized that his fear could get people hurt. Could get people killed.
Could get Aurra killed.
The thought was like opening his eyes for the first time in a long time. Suddenly each stone that whipped past them was no longer just a danger, but a threat, trying to kill them. But, not in a way that Naruto would have thought of before. No, they weren't set up by people, they just were; the natural dangers of the world, set there to slow them down if he didn't concentrate. If he didn't dig deeper, and find something to hold onto.
"Yes... concentrate."
The voice was almost a buzz, nearly getting Naruto to lock up again. The ghost that had tried to possess him. But, he'd left their lightsaber back with Gonk. Had it followed him?
"Your fear is not real. The danger is. Focus on the danger, what is real, then push past it."
He shouldn't listen to that voice. It was too smooth, too sweet to be honest. Yet, it was right. Now, seeing the danger in front of him, maybe his fears weren't real, but were manifested by memory. This would not make them go away, and his fear would remain, but for this moment, this instance, he could beat it. So, with worry, instant regret, and trepidation, he followed the instructions.
The results weren't immediate. Or, perhaps they were, but they simply took a moment to catch up. The more Naruto tried to concentrate on it, the more he was distracted by things happening in the moment, as well as what was - or could - happen. Reaching out, he tried to understand what he was seeing, then was forced to give up when the ship was rocked by another blast, forcing his eyes open.
"This is ridiculous." Naruto growled, unsnapping himself from his crash netting. "Aayla stay here, I'm going to go be stupid."
"... you're what?" Aayla tried to undo her own, but Naruto had already begun moving towards the back of the ship before she had time to undo anything.
Opening the ramp, Naruto moved his way down, the speed and high winds of the ship moving rocketed around him, and Naruto heard a quick beeping on the comlink. {Do you mind? I'm trying to pilot this ship, not make it easier for you to get shot!}
"Then pilot the ship and let me do my thing." Naruto's reply was smooth, and calm - much more so than he felt. Stepping down, he gripped the ramps edge with a vice-like grip, staring down at the ships trying to blast away at them.
Sensing someone move up next to him, Naruto quickly glanced towards them. The Dathomirian who had been with Quinlan stood next to him, glaring at him as the two then turned to the ships. "... what's your plan?"
"... I'm going to stop those ships," Naruto clenched his hand slowly, letting as much power as he could muster build into his hand. "By shutting them down."
"... really now..." her voice was unbelieving, but as she stared at the visible buildup of power in his hands. Shifting, she began chanting, shifting and trying to do something of her own, the Force building up between them. "This seems like a bad idea."
"Absolutely terrible." Naruto leaned out, blaster fire shaking the area around them, shaking the ship and nearly rattling Naruto's teeth out of his head as he focused on one of the ships. Moving his hand back and forth for a moment, he steadied himself, breathing slowly, then released the bolts of lighting at the ship just as they began firing.
The ship shook violently as it was suddenly pulsing with volts of Force created lightning. Naruto could almost imagine hearing the whir of the engines failing, the beeping as it failed, trying to regain altitude, to do more than shake as it flew on. With much of its systems down, and unable to keep moving forwards safely, it was unable to dodge one of the stalactites, the ceiling mounted stone clipping into its wing and ripping into it, causing it to spin out, rapidly moving down to the cavernous floor and scrap across it as it bounced and came to a sudden, violent halt as it slammed into a stalagmite.
Nodding at that, she also loosed the Force on them, though not with lightning. With hers she seemed to be trying to rip the stones as they flew past them and uses them to break the ship as such. The ships were nimble enough to dodge, but those pieces that they couldn't kept banging off of their ships, causing likely more damage than any pilot would want. More importantly though, it forced them to turn their attention from shooting their subterine, to firing upon the stones. It kept them from striking their ship, and from being able to fly near as quickly after them.
Nodding slowly, Naruto stared at his own work. Destructive, and he'd likely caused some form of harm to them. Not bad, or unnecessary, but there were other options. Other ways to stop people. Still, as he stared after them, the Force seemed to suddenly swell, and the stones above them began to similarly begin to shake and rumble.
"I am not dealing with that." Naruto muttered, holding his hand against the ship and closing his eyes. Next to him, she did the same, both of them reaching up above the ship through the Force, projecting a shield between them to push back the rocks. "Come on, we need to get out of all this sooner rather than later... I'm not... I'm not dealing with all of this forking..."
"Then be rid of it." She pointed to one of the ships, her eyes narrowing as she glared it down. "My mother is aboard that ship. If we stop her, we end this all."
Naruto paused, noting what she said, but filing it away for later. Reaching out, he began calling on the Force to buffer her and keep her from progressing, only to get rocked as their ship took a blow that had him fumbling and forced to grip onto the edge of the ramp.
Staring down wild and wide-eyed to the cavern below, Naruto began trying to pull himself up. It wasn't easy, as the surface was slippery, and acted like it held no purchase for him to be able to move or do anything; he had a way to get back up easily, but his mind kept saying to pay attention, and to consider what else he could do. Staring up at her, he glanced back to the ship trying to move up behind him. Turning back to her, he reached behind himself, pulling out his lightsaber. Nodding, he looked up, saluted, and let go.
There was a momentary sound of confusion that he just barely heard as he let himself whip backwards. He used the Force to try and even himself out as he hit the ship, but it still nearly bounced him as he used the Force to latch onto the hull and stick to it. Trying to take a deep breath, Naruto slowly rolled over onto his side, pulling himself quickly onto the side of the ship. As he did the ship nearly banged against the top of the cavern. So they knew that he was there.
Lovely.
Activating his lightsaber, Naruto quickly carved into the side. He could vaguely hear some sounds on the other side, but he kept cutting, carving and curling around as it began whirling and flipped upside-down. Anyone else would have been thrown off, and sent flying off. Naruto was not your normal person hanging on, and as they centered themselves, he was able to kick in the hole in the side, just as they began speeding up past the subterine that he'd jumped from the speed forcing him back down the side, needing a moment to readjust before he could move back up.
Slipping in, he stared at the women who stood near the hole. Each of them was chanting, seeming to be concentrating on something quite important. As he entered though, they paused, then balked, caught completely flat-footed by his sudden appearance. That gave Naruto more than enough time to Throw out his hands, throwing them far from each other, slamming them against the walls and pinning them there. Quickly glancing between each of them, Naruto cursed as he realized that if he wanted any chance at getting to the cockpit safely, he'd have to take them out.
Letting them go, Naruto moved up and slammed one back against the bulkhead. As she crumpled, he threw out his hand, sending another pair into the walls just the same. One didn't go down quite as easy, holding herself just enough to keep from being knocked out. Behind him, another witch was standing. Two against one; Naruto's kind of odds.
Throwing his hands out, Naruto disappeared from their view in a flash of yellow, appearing behind the one closest to the cockpit as two other Naruto's materialized in front of each of them. Knowing he'd startled them and would have them pushed back for the moment, and that the Force Clones could handle them for the time being, Naruto turned on his heel and made his way to the cockpit.
As soon as he moved towards the cockpit, Naruto felt the ship shake and throw him off his feet again. Staring up at the ship, Naruto slowly pat the side of it worriedly. "Look, I'm sorry, but the person here isn't exactly a good person. Just... just don't blow up on me okay?"
Getting back up, Naruto froze when he heard a hissing sound. The ship had docked to something. Down in the underground, subterranean environment. Slowly, Naruto glanced back, then slowly stared forwards towards the cockpit.
No one moved for a moment, a silencing of the ship powering down seeming to cause a tension in the air. Once it was done, the silence was palpable, tense, and seemed to hold with it an air of danger.
Slowly, a woman pushed herself out of the pilot's seat, turning and moving to where she could fully face him. Staring each other down, she slowly looked him up and down, appraising him. "... you're not who I expected."
"I tend to not be who or what anyone expects." Naruto shrugged, flipping his lightsaber shoto in his hand slowly. The action drew her attention, and she seemed to sneer deeply at it.
"Ah, one of the Jedi then. I've known a few of your kind. Hopeless idealists, and fools all the same. Thinking yourself like those who learnt only of the weakness we've cut out of ourselves. You could never understand-" She moved her hand out with a snappish word, gripping Naruto by the throat through the Force. "Your own weakness."
Naruto only made partly choked noises, staring at her for a moment. Slowly turning his head, he made a gasping nose of confusion, then held up his own hand. Gripping on things behind her in the Force, he pulled them back and spun the chair behind her to smack her against the back. Caught off guard, she stumbled, glaring at him with a look of complete disgust, attempting to weave further words before her own were cut off. Gripping her throat, Naruto stared down at her as she glared back in contempt.
"Weak... no. I'm not weak." Letting her go, she clawed at her throat, maybe not fully listening as Naruto continued. "I'm strong enough to not want to kill you... but wise enough to tell you're not going to just let this go."
"We do not need your pity."
Zalem began a chant so fast Naruto could barely keep up, the ship itself ripping apart to try and crush him. With each piece crashing into each other, Naruto quickly danced backwards, blade carving through them at the last moments to give him momentary outs. Ways to dodge and move between them. Each step she took forward was one that he had to take backwards, but not for lack of attempts to approach her in return. Quickly, she changed her chant, trying to draw the lighting from the ship's power itself, throwing her hands towards him as volts of lighting streaked towards him.
Naruto stared at her attempts, felt her rage, and felt nothing but pity for her. She likely had done so much to get to this point; the things she'd done, the lives that likely had been lost. Yet, as she now stood proud and triumphant, Naruto had to be the one to stop her. Quinlan had been doing it first, and might have succeeded even without his help, but Naruto had been the one dumb enough to leap ahead. It was better that way.
Reaching out his hand, Naruto unleashed his own Force Lightning, feeling his arm going completely numb. He'd probably need to let it rest for some time after this. Except, as he accepted what he had to do, the numbness from his initial blast towards the ship faded. Pausing, he shifted, staring her down and pushed further, harder. Drew more deeply on the darkness around him and pushed it through into his lightning. For the first time in a while, the numbness and shock that came with using the lightning was not there, and he was left with power that danced at his fingertips.
Their eyes locked, and the moment they did, Zalem understood. Holding her arms to the side, she stood defiant, still reveling in the glory of a triumph stricken from her. And Naruto, eyes filled with understanding, but determination, fired back. The ship's power was not enough to overwhelm his own, and his lightning pierced through. Rather than a bolt of arcing lightning as it had once been, the color shifted to a more somber green. Slamming into her, the lightning arced across her immediately, her eyes rolling back as she fell. Instantly, her presence vanished, and the electric current of the ship dropped to blackout silence.
It was sobering to suddenly see her like that. He accepted it, understood, and then had seen that she did as well. Most of his opponents tended to feel like they wanted to spit fire and keep fighting, but his last two dark Force wielding enemies had accepted it. They'd seemed to understand what he'd come to do, and had fought him to their last, then given up.
Not like a simple, straightforward surrender. They'd understood he couldn't keep them from doing as they'd done, and that ultimately he would have to destroy them to prevent them from continuing to spread darkness throughout the galaxy. To prevent their destruction of the galaxy. Idly, he wondered if they sensed it, knowing through the Force the moment they'd lost, and had lived long enough to accept death.
There is no death, there is the Force.
"Through power my chains are broken, the Force shall set me free..."
Naruto flinched at that, craning his neck as though he'd somehow see them standing beside him, behind him, or simply anywhere around him. There was no one. He was alone. Alone with him, his demons, his thoughts, and apparently ghosts.
"What was that? That... the Sith code?" Naruto asked the air, not expecting an answer. Maybe he just remembered Maul's mutterings, and applied it here, where he'd met with others wielding the dark side.
"Yes." Great, so he was hearing a voice. "It was something for those who called themselves 'honorable' among the Sith to be given a reminder of the code before, or after their death. Sometimes we'd even say it over our enemies, if we felt they deserved it. Never Jedi though. They have their traditions, and can handle themselves as they want."
The words weren't what he'd expected, and so Naruto stood there for a moment, staring at Zalem idly. It was tradition to say the Jedi code over fallen Jedi, but he'd never heard of it said over an enemy, or a non-Jedi ally. They'd say kind words, but then, that was it.
Shaking his head, he moved over to Zalem, noting something on her hip, and knelt to inspect it. Seeing some sort of creature's paw, he slowly reached out to pick it up. As he did, his back arched his eyes rolled back, and his vision shifted.
They moved quickly, trying to finish what they could. Centuries guarding the temple, turning it off and keeping it from the hands of another. Of a people in the stars who snarled and hungered, drawing on shadows to destroy those they came across. They wanted the gates, to open them, and to use them to move, and to destroy.
A safety was put in place. To destroy the gate, to lock away Infinity, and to even wipe stars and planets from the system. Rash, some might thing, but so great was the shadows cast by these that had once learnt under them. Who had been taught, then turned against them. The danger of a shadow that knew no mercy, no fear, only carnage and darkness.
Thousands of years. So many, leaving them without a need to be who they once were. Hunted down, no longer mighty, now only savages to the eyes of those who had continued to grow. Those they had protected and helped keep safe. Now they were the inheritors. They would choose.
Naruto gasped, dropping to his side before groaning and holding his head. "...ow..."
Rolling to his feet, he shook his head and groaned, stumbling about as he tried to blink the weariness from him that had suddenly overwhelmed him. A flash of people - the same that had kept him from seeing this temple, this place. Or, tried to. They were not longer the same, now different, changed. Still guardians, but without the power or words to do so the way they once had.
Hearing a faint beeping, Naruto slowly pulled out his comlink. Holding it up, he winced as he turned it on. "Uh, hi?"
{... where are you?}
"That is an interesting question. I-"
{Naruto.}
"I was getting to it. I'm on Zalem - I think this was Zalem anyway - I'm on her ship. Her subterine. She's been... neutralized."
{... you sound tired. Are you hurt?}
"Nothing that will slow me down."
{Mhmm. Right. Look, we're looking for a place to land. The last of her guards were taken down, and that leaves us, and you then. Is this what you were looking for?}
Naruto slowly stared at the clawed hand he now held, staring at it for a moment before nodding. "... yeah. Yeah it is."
{Do what you have to then, and hop on back up here. We're waiting on you.}
"Copy that."
[=-x-=]
Naruto didn't know how he'd missed a thing like this. It was larger than he'd thought, but as he'd walked into it, he found himself feeling a sudden sense of trepidation. He had no idea what would be in here, what he would see. What would this all look like at the end of the day? He still didn't feel he understood in the slightest.
Just stepping outside didn't given him a full idea of how big the structure was, or even what it likely could be. A monolithic structure, with a clear access and interior to it, that was built to be accessible predominantly from the top. Not here, as they'd done. Which meant that the only way the Nightsisters under Zalem had to access this place had been to go underneath it. Clever, but that meant there was almost certainly more that was in the temple itself that they weren't having access to.
Moving down the pathway, Naruto found himself outside the doors, a series of controls and panels to it all. Slowly, he reached the clawed hand out, placing it on the scanner. It gave a few beeps, then a sound that almost seemed a negative, but was proven to be correct, as the doors slid open, allowing him inside. As he did, the felt awash, swept up, and he had to take a moment to just be as the Force settled onto his shoulders.
This place was awash with the energies of the Force. Naruto almost dared to call it a nexus of the Force, the strength of it filled him so much. The only thing that made him think otherwise was that it wasn't empowering him, but rather it appeared to simply be woven throughout, giving a sense of it's reality and presence. Not calming, not angering, simply there.
Moving in, Naruto looked around slowly, watching pieces of the interior moving around, and points of light beginning to flicker around him. Soon, he was awash in their twinkling lights, a sea of stars gleaming over him as each began to swirl and pulse. Planets began to form and he found himself staring into the whole of the galaxy. Planets, moons, stars, everything laid out before him, most with less detail than he'd seen in many holocrons or star maps, yet for what he was looking at it was still more than he could think of.
Moving towards the center, he saw a panel with the same hand scanner as before. As he moved his hand towards it, he felt an almost questioning thought poke into his mind; not his own, or anyone else's he'd heard before.
[Welcome to the Realm of Infinity. What is your desire?]
Naruto slowly turned his head, looking around. What did he want? A place called the "Realm of Infinity" wanted to know what he wanted? Even as the thought that, his mind went back to his purpose here, the gate, and his world. Slowly, the map swirled, turned, and Naruto found himself staring in shock, and feeling his heart stop.
There, nestled in the map as though it were just another simple part of the galaxy, black holes pulsating around it, was a planet, nestled in a solar system of its own, on the edge of destruction. He could sense his home, see it there, labeled as "Ibonihs", and that there was something on it that pulsed lightly. Using the claw, he tried to focus on what it was, to see what was going on.
[Star Chamber identified. Infinity Gate located. What is your desire?]
Once more, Naruto felt his curiosity piqued. "... what can you do?"
[Teleportation, creation, removal of systems, and so forth. There is much that has been documented and created, including the use of things such as holocrons, the Celestials, and even knowledge of some of the Builders technology.]
"Can I have like, a holocron of all that? Or just, everything here? That might help. There's no index here or..."
The request felt like it should be considered too much. That alone sounded like it was more information than he'd know what to do with. Celestials? Builders? Naruto knew about holocrons, but the idea that this place considered it important to describe it seemed somehow important.
As he considered that, his eyes then went back to the system before him. His galaxy. His star system. His first home. Hagoromo's home.
He'd escaped from there, and his eyes had been opened to the galaxy. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him. This had been Hagoromo's home, but he hadn't left the world. He hadn't experienced like Naruto had, seen what he'd seen, until after he'd died. That certainly didn't make Hagoromo the expert on the galaxy, any more than it made Naruto the expert of the people of that world.
What right did he have to tell them they couldn't leave?
The thought had him reconsidering what he was doing there, and what he could do. This place, this gate, could take him back there. It could take people here. Take them away from their world of war and darkness, and give them something new. Something...
Would they come? If he asked, showed them a galaxy beyond them, who would come? People, of course. They were curious, and would be as wide-eyed as him. Except, would they see it that way? See it with the beauty, the majesty he did?
Minato - his father - had seen the beauty, but had discussed other things with him as well. Trained him in the ways of the shinobi, the ninja. They were people of knowledge, change, and power; at any cost they could. Even morality was different for them, as what they considered moral needed to be in relation to what could and could not be done. Assassination, theft, blackmail, and for some places even kidnapping was well within the realms of what they'd do.
Jiraiya had loved the galaxy, and had talked non-stop at first. But when Naruto made it clear he was on a mission and that he was committed to it, he'd change. It wasn't even a 'subtle' change; he went from lecherous fool, to a man who had fought in war, gathered information, and used it to come out victorious.
And Naruto... Naruto had come out of the Maw, and had become a Jedi, a defender of justice and the peace. He'd come out with power, already shaking the stars, and had moved through so much. He'd ripped a Hutt out of a position of power, won one war, then a second not too long afterwards, and had taken down a cult. All before he'd hit his twenties.
Suddenly Naruto's youth suddenly seemed so much more apparent. He was going to return to the Jedi Temple and take Anakin as his padawan. Anakin, so young, was gong to be trained by him. He was also so young. Too young. Could he possible do all of this?
Slowly, his eyes refocused on the map. Holding out the hand, he shook his head. "... stop all transmissions from going to this planet... for one thousand years."
[Very well, stopping transmissions.]
"... it's not much, but... people deserve to have a chance some time. But change doesn't happen that fast. Maybe later... maybe they'll be better."
It wasn't so much condemnation, but it was acknowledging that those people were the same as those his father spoke of. They had been raised, trained, and would grow in ways similar to those of the Great Shinobi Wars. Some would diverge, be better, and grow, but so long as the older generation continually gave influence, and tried to perpetuate their beliefs onto them, he couldn't be sure. So he'd give them time, and hope that they would be able to change, and grow beyond the violence that had been perpetuated on the world.
Almost stepping away, Naruto glanced back. What of this place? Could he allow it to be found by other Nightsisters, and to have them attempt to turn it as a weapon against other galaxies? Groaning, he shook his head. Make the hard choice not once, but twice.
"Turn this place off, and wipe everything inside it." Naruto let his head drop, staring down at the hand and sighed. "I'm sorry. I just... this is the only way I can protect these people here. I can't..."
A faint hum grew in volume, forcing Naruto to step back. Staring up, a pulsing light moved down from above him, forcing him to cover his eyes as he tried to look at what it was. Slowly, as the from took shape, Naruto slowly held out his hand, staring at the object.
A holocron, barely big enough to fit into the palm of his hand, pulsing with an almost light, and cool sensation in the Force, now rested in his palm. It glowed for only a moment more, then began to shut off, the intricate, near impossible to follow lines across its form now revealed to him to be a shiny, but dulling silvery white in color. Then, the area around him darkened, and he felt the sudden urge to retreat.
Following that urge, Naruto raced out, feeling the urge growing to a peak as he all but threw himself out of the doorway he'd come through. As he did, he heard a faint crackling, and barely had time to turn and see the doorway seem to pull back and away, as though it were pulling the entire door off of its hinges without harming the actual doorway, before it twisted, and a thunderous crack resonated around him, leaving only darkness where it had been.
Getting back to his feet, Naruto slowly approached the doorway. Turning his lightsaber on, he held it out, and slowly looked down. There was no bottom he could see in the darkness; the floor, the feeling, the room around him, was completely gone. As he's asked, it had removed itself from Dathomir entirely. Everything, wiped away.
Slowly pulling out his comlink, he switched it on. "... well, I uh, think that did it..."
{You're done? That was fast.}
Fast? Naruto felt like he'd spend an eternity thinking over those choices. "Yeah well, it was pretty easy. But uh... where's the ship?"
{I'll get that Yag guy to swing us around. Get ready for pick up.}
Naruto nodded, moving his sleeve up his arm as he did so. Pulling some of the last of his ink from his pouch, the rest having been destroyed when the creature hit him, he quickly drew a number of sealing marks across his arm. Concentrating, he winced as he placed the holocron against his shoulder, turning his hand so it twisted and slipped into the seal and held it in place for later. This was now one of the last remnants of what ever this place was, and held all the knowledge he'd asked of it within; however much that was, he wasn't certain. But with what it had mentioned, he could only assume it was more than he knew, and older than he thought.
Much older, and much more important than he thought.
AN: I like my take on the Star Chamber and Infinity Gate myself, partly because the information I was able to gleam just kind of said "she put the hand on it and started an Infinity Wave", like... just like that. I can only assume it was using the Force, and her dark intent to destroy Coruscant, so I ran with that my own way here.
Speaking of, Zalem's death. She's not really the focus of this story, and while she was powerful, not so much so that I felt Naruto would struggle. He defeated Volfe, who - in my opinion - was more dangerous and stronger. This part has been more leading up to the realization and understanding that he'd have to make a choice like these, and have to realize that he has to be willing to accept the consequences of his choices. Would the shinobi be better in one thousand years? Maybe. Maybe not. But in his mind, it's better than keeping them in darkness forever.
Additionally, for those who don't like the idea of there being more shinobi in the galaxy, don't three cheers just yet. These transmissions and such were only from this location, and only this location has been turned off. The Kwa had many more places they set up, and if any of those get turned on... there is possibilities. The only thing that would slow down or stop the shinobi further from getting to the stars is one person; after all, one entity on Ibonihs wouldn't want them to leave. I'm curious if people will be able to guess who that is.
Also, I think I finally gave Naruto the name of his planet. I looked back through the early chapters and most references to Ibonihs was in the AN's, not said by anyone. So now I can say it was "officially named" and that Naruto knows his home world's name. Huzzah!
Got some wrapping up of this arc next chapter, and then we begin the final arc of Part 2, and get to some fun, dark, and confusing pieces of this story to discuss before Part 3. Because I decided to go whole courses of meals with this story, and I'm going to have to put in work and my own A-game to keep up with things once I break the timeline, and make my own not brushing against Sidious original plans, and things that were inevitably bound to happen. Here goes nothing!
Thank you all for your reviews, they are always great to read. If you haven't seen, the Naruto poll is done, and now there is a poll to go over the pairing options for Anakin on my Profile page. I look forward to seeing who you choose, and how I'll be able to consider and use it through the building story.
May this chapter find you well, and may the Force be with you.
