The rebirth of the Kingdom of Hawaii following the Battle of Earth was one of the examples of how close the United States was to collapse following the annihilation of the West Coast and the Steel Belt. Under the able rule of Prime Minister Ka'ohu Kaimana the culture of Hawaii was reborn from the ruins that the American occupation had put it through. King Kalākaua II spent a large amount of his royal funds on cultural development most notably the funding of the Queen Liliʻuokalani Memorial where Peral Harbour once stood. The memorial consisted of a large statue of the monarch over the casket holding the bones of the last Hawaiian monarch before the American dominance. Though the Hawaiian cultural renaissance was not all positive as it came at the cost of the long-marginalized natives of the islands using their newfound dominance to have their revenge. With a series of bills targeting farmers and the adoption of Hawaiian as the national language there was a clear preference for the native people in government which led to a series of exoduses from the reborn Kingdom. But not every white Hawaiian simply gave up and left with a large number forming the National Union Party which called for reunion with the United States of America. The party suffered from its voter base growing smaller annually and every other political party voting against them whenever they introduced a motion. The National Union Party is still around though minuscule mainly made up of the last whites who refused to leave the Kingdom they barely have any influence.

The securing of democracy in the Kingdom of the Canary Islands came on the 1st of October 1953 when King Jaime I approved Operation Carlos the coup against the military government that had reigned since the Spanish Collapse. The coup had been in preparation since the proclamation of the Kingdom and they had secured the definite loyalty of several key units though a single division stationed on Tenerife under the command of Francisco Franco had not been secured. King Jaime knew that if the early stages of the coup failed that Franco would side with the government but if he succeeded Franco would remain neutral long enough to secure victory. The coup was launched at noon with monarchist officers and soldiers dragging their militarist colleagues into the back streets and blowing their brains out. While this happened King Jaime, summoned the high-ranking generals to the Royal Palace where their guards were executed in the main hall with the generals dragged off to a cell for their later trial. With the successful elimination of the major leadership of the military regime Monarchist forces spread out across the Kingdom. The militarist forces within the city managed to secure the south of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife and sent out a massager to Francisco Franco requesting that they come to their aid. When Franco received the message the entire chance for the liberation of the Kingdom of the Canary Islands was on a knife's edge and his decision changed history.

Franco was a staunch monarchist and had supported some of the more conservative reforms supported by King Jaime when he received news of the coup he froze for a second and then decided upon his actions. He ordered his division to march on Santa Cruz de Tenerife. When the Militarists saw the divison moving in they assumed that Franco had rallied to their side and allowed them to march into their heart. Then Franco ordered his forces to open fire on the militarist forces. They slaughtered the militarists with Franco proclaiming allegiance to King Jaime. With his defection Tenerife fell under royalist command which spread out across the rest of the Kingdom with each island declaring for the King. The last Militarist soldier surrendered a week after the coup was launched and Operation Carlos was a decisive success. With the fall of the military regime in the Kingdom of the Canary Islands all of the nation's born from the Spanish Collapse had transitioned to democracy save for the Kingdom of Spain itself. Still under the rule of the ageing King Xavier I that would take until the ascension of King Carlos VII to change that though he brought in a very different form of democracy.

With the defeat at the Battle of Dakara the allies ceased all operations against the Goa'uld Empire save for their raiding operations while they restructured their military force for quicker evacuations. Mad Jack was court-martialled and only just managed to be cleared of all charges. But arguably the biggest effect was in the diplomatic arena with the allies feeling betrayed especially the French who had lost the most at the Battle of Dakara. The British were forced to establish an Allied High Command who would authorize all proposed operations and any other military operations. The new high command irritated Mad Jack quite a bit, but he was forced to follow the commands from higher up. To counter this, he drowned his sorrow in battle against the Goa'uld fighting in battle after battle he left swathes of Jaffa corpses behind him in his unhinged rampage across several key worlds. This generally seen as the closest that he got to being dismissed from the military with the widespread belief that he was insane being strengthened by him laughing maniacally over the broken corpse of a First Prime. To counter this, he was forced to go on tours to interact with the public which resulted in some interesting situations whenever he visited a school with Bra'tac and Sigurður Steelfangs most notably he played his bagpipes while Sigurður Steelfangs juggled two young children and Bra'tac tried to calm them down. Mad Jack Churchill was very controversial during that time more so than usual but at least he did not kill anyone during those tours.
